- Rivas (7/5): Overall, it was good place to rest after traveling for the day and met my needs. - Breakfast was good, and the staff was very clear to mention to use another room if the main area was busy. But I think they should have a sign there so guests don't forget or try to wait around for a table to clear up. I didn't like that the bathroom felt much warmer than the rest of the room. I don't know if the a/c was off in there or not working properly. But the room design is good to accommodate people with disabilities, except for the light switch placement. It was placed far from the door and near the towels, which is more like the building structure/design wasn't mindful of it.

- David (7/5): Great Location, But Customer Service Needs Improvement - The hotel has a very convenient location. It is close to the highway, which makes it easy to get around the city, and it is also near the airport. Because of this, reaching most important places in McAllen is very quick and simple. The hotel seriously needs to improve staff training and customer service. After midnight, I attempted to make another reservation through the app. The front desk employee laughed and told me he would not honor the reservation if I made it through the app. He insisted that those reservations “never appear in their system” and said I would have to request a refund anyway. His attitude was arrogant and disrespectful. I felt pressured to cancel the reservation process and book directly with him instead, which I ended up doing because he clearly stated that even if the reservation appeared later, he would not honor it. I don’t know if this is a system issue or a staff issue, but either the booking platform needs to work properly or the staff needs proper training on how to handle guests professionally. No guest should be treated that way.

Unfortunately, the quality of their service has dropped too much. The carpets have a bad smell and the bathroom towels are in very poor condition, very old and yellowed. The attention of its staff leaves much to be desired. The breakfast they offer is very below specifications along with the staff who are already bored of doing the same thing every day. It really has many areas of opportunity to correct.

- Hernandez (8/5): Hotel comodo para 1 noche - La habitación cumple con lo que se requiere para una noche, la ubicación esta perfecta para quienes vamos de compras, el desayuno bien, el personal muy amable. La ubicación de la habitación estaba en la parte exterior del edificio y hubo un poco de ruido, cosa que se soluciona al pedir alguna habitación que esté en la parte interior.

Todo el personal muy amable ,saludando amablemente. ya van dos veces que nos quedamos en este hotel y asi seguira siendo . La cama principal muy bien y limpia asi como el baño tambien limpio. tal vez la alfombra del piso si la note un poco polvosa y algunaas basuras pequeñas tiradas y el sofa cama ya esta muy hundido y usado además que creo que no le cambiaron las sabanas.

Pésimo trato de la persona en Recepción, no pude hacer Check Inn sino hasta 3 horas después porque no habían confirmado mi pago. Al día siguiente no le hicieron limpieza a la habitación y tuvimos que arreglarla nosotros. Tenemos 20 años siendo clientes de Best Western y en esta ocasión muy mala experiencia.

Por otro lado al llegar te piden una cuota de 50 dólares como depósito aparte del costo de la habitación , lo cual no me parece adecuado , pues lo regresan después , no te dicen cuando , debe ser con cargo a una tarjeta de crédito .

- Paola (10/5): Buena ubicacion y personal amable - Me encanto la ubicacion, esta delante de tiendas como Burlington,Ross ,Michaels, y el desayuno es huevo,waffles,cafe, fruta de mano y cereal ,jugos, muy bien para empezar el dia. sin duda volvere L unico es que entre a las 3 pm , y aun no tenian listas las habitaciones de planta baja, pero no fue mucho problema.

Se nos termino el agua caliente y solo se alcanzo a bañar uno de los dos con agua caliente; y el desayuno estaba muy saturado pero si alcanzamos a servirnos.
