• Don (2/5): I wouldn't recommend this hotel. - Breakfast was ok. Loose dog outside in the morning which I didn't care for. Hotel is very rundown. Hotel clerk was a bit rude when I asked to change my room. Said she would cancel my reservation if I didn't like my room. Not good customer service. Pouring rain the night we arrived and had to use some towels to clean up the water, etc that came in the outside entrance door. Hotel charged us $30 for towel damage. Have tried to get management to understand but they will not so I have complained to Best Western Corporate HQ.

• Regina M (7/5): Comfortable and quiet accommodations. - I liked the size of the room and the accommodations in the room. The breakfast was so so. The beds were not very comfortable. I thought the room was over priced.

• Antoinette (7/5): Good - Staff very friendly and professional. Liked that the restaurant was walking distance. No elevator. Tough getting up stairs for elderly folks with suitcases.

• Rayetta (4/5): Basically a bed and room for 8 hours since we couldn't enjoy the pool or breakfast. - Because of the time that we needed to leave, no time for breakfast. The pool was closed, don't understand why the pool couldn't have been repaired before the summer months, very disappointing.

• Michelle (8/5): Great price and good stay for the price. - Easy check in and easy to get to off the interstate. The tv had a line down it, like it was going out or someone hit the tv and it’s about to go out.

• Audra (9/5): We enjoyed our stay - The staff was very friendly. They gave us advice on where to get a bite to eat. The room was a good size. Clean, neat. Parking close to our room was a breeze. Price wasn't bad. The whole situation to get to the hotel was kind of a hassle. The service drive, the round about and the sort of combined parking with Sirloin Stockade. I do realize the hotel can't do anything about the roads. The state build them the way they did and ya'll are left to deal with it the best you can. So that is not your fault.

• Donald (3/5): This property did not live up to the standards I expected from Best Western. - The location was good., a short distance from the highway, easy to find. We weren't interested in attractions as it was an overnight stop on a longer trip. The room size was good and the bathroom clean. The room had a distinctive lingering smoke odor which was quite off-putting. A burn mark was still on the blanket. The breakfast was a major disappointment. We arrived for breakfast 45 minutes before it closed and several items were no longer available. No yogurt. No bowls for cereal. No lids for coffee.. The sausage was undercooked, as were the pancakes. Although the pancakes would have been poor even if fully cooked.

• Greg (6/5): - Sink and shower need major plumbing work takes a long time for them to drain my wife took a shower tub was half full when I got to take one with water almost to my shins had to rush to take one . Not easy to brush your teeth with a sink full of water and we did not let it run The tv stand area was dusty breakfast ok bread dry bagels old wrapped in plastic wrap to try and keep fresh no fruit at all and instant coffee machine not a good experience I asked for first floor room did not find out the only king beds they had were on the second floor my wife and I took a double queen so we could be on first floor the room they gave me was a hike to get to with luggage and we travel with a cooler could not park my car anywhere close to it as it was across from the gross non working outdoor pool.

• sharon (7/5): - The room was huge. Great for a traveling family. Offered good breakfast choices. We booked this place over others for the pool as it was a stop along the way back home. When we got there, we found the pool was closed for maintenance. Sounds like it has been for a while.

There were holes in the walls badly patched and painted in a different color, bed cover bag holes in it. Bathroom wall had water damage. This place should never be a 3 star

Door safety lock was broken, deadbolt didn't work and outside door handle was broken and door didn't seal shut. The air conditioning fan had a horrible smell, moldy and musty. Very strong smell when running but too gross without it on. There was a trash can left over with trash from the previous person too. Washcloths were clean but stained yellow.

• Patricia (8/5): - It is easy off easy on for the traveler. Greeted pleasantly and given good direction to room and recommended gas stations nearby. Room was clean and the TV worked. Very disappointed the pool was closed for repairs. If I had known I would have booked elsewhere. Towels and bathroom sparkled. Breakfast was hot but nothing to write home about.

Got to room very musty smelling/ looks outdated in about every area beds/carpet/bathroom. Will not consider this Best Western again. Sad because we visit Rolla several times a year.

Hair in the bathroom and looked as if it wasn't ever cleaned. Lots of sketchy people hanging out in the parking lot. I didn't stay beause it was the dirtiest place I've ever been in.

• Jennifer (2/5): Horrible stay - The room was a pet friendly room, it stunk like a dog kennel, had to get air freshener so we could get rid of some of the order. Sheets and under pad were stained. Bed was hard and very uncomfortable. When we got to our room AC was not on and it was in the 90's so took a long time to start cooling off. Refrigerator knob was broken so it didn't keep our drinks cold.The worst stay at ahotel we have ever had.

We were told the room I booked online (King) wasn’t available and despite being pet friendly, we were charged a fee to have a pet that wasn’t disclosed on the booking information. The room was just fine - linens seemed clean but the rest of the room itself was beat up and the bathroom smelled of urine. The air in the room upon entry also felt damp/heavy. Despite room condition, the staff was friendly and the beds were comfy for a quick 1-night stay.

• Bruce (1/5): Bad - We did not get mugged. Had hot water. The room was awful. The shower didn’t work right. The bathroom door was falling off and wouldn’t shut. The bathroom sink wouldn’t drain. The towels and wash cloths were different shades of dinghy white to gray. The beds were hard and very uncomfortable. The door had a gap all the way around. Some spots were 1/4 inches. And it faced outside. The whole room was dirty. The front desk was rude. The breakfast was terrible. No orange juice only grape and apple. Both were so sour I poured them out and drank water. Everything that was supposed to be hot was cold and everything cold was hot. And then when checking out the bill was higher than the reservation. Double the estimated tax. We were driving home from a funeral and got to the motel around 11 pm. But we had reservations. Also reserved a king size bed and got two queens. Same price but really? Just another reason why we will never stay there and warn everyone about it.

• William (4/5): - This was a disappointing hotel for us. The hotel was categorized as pet friendly then when we arrived, we were told that certain rooms were designated pet friendly, and certain rooms were not and the room that we had booked was not pet friendly even though there was nothing to indicate that on the website in booking. The staff member started off friendly and then ended up threatening my husband telling him that they had cameras that would be watching him to make sure we didn’t bring our dog inside. My husband tried to contact hotels.com and was unable to reach them to help with the situation. The room was large and spacious and clean for the most part. The beds were uncomfortable. The mattresses were thin. All of the mattresses looked as if they could’ve been couch beds. The breakfast was underwhelming mostly bread products; the pancake machine was not working. We would not recommend this hotel nor would we stay here again.
