We were told that happens due to pressure changes despite our door being locked. We were also told the cameras didn’t work so they couldn’t verify how our door was opened. That’s not ok.

They hotel made lot of changes and new renovation with TV and lobby with new chair seating and new breakfast table looks amazing. They do have indoor pool for family’s and big truck parking for truck drivers perfect place to stay and enjoy.

• DebbieH324 (8/5): Overall a nice stay. - Nice looking, well cared for hotel. Very friendly staff. Room was neat and clean. All room supplies were stocked and clean. Bed was clean and comfortable. We slept very well. I downgraded 1 star for two reasons. First, we unloaded and reloaded our car along one side of the building. Two doors leading outside do not have security key locks, so anybody could potentially walk in and roam the halls. We also had a hard time getting the room temperature where we liked it. When we entered it was cold so we upped the temp. It warmed up fairly quickly. Then it got cold again, and we could see the curtains moving from air leakage from the window. We jumped the temp quite a bit and finally were comfortable. The continental breakfast was OK, not the best, but we were able to have a decent breakfast. We loved the shower and there was good water pressure and a wide spray. The TV picture was very good too. In short, we would be very comfortable returning to this hotel.

That was ok with me, and convenient, but they didn't ask me, just took his word. What if he'd been a stalker?

But the pool was going through some maintenance while we were there, and it was ice cold the one night we used it, then the next day the deck got repainted, and it left an overpoweringly strong chemical fumes smell that persisted and made the pool unusable the next night.

Hallways are dark, common area carpets show signs of heavy soiling, grout shows mildew and age. We had to ask for housekeeping services after the fourth day because our room had never been serviced - trash was overflowing and we were out of towels. Every employee we interacted with was very friendly, it just seems that they may be understaffed.

• 89jeanieg (4/5): Underwelming and Overpriced - While the staff was friendly and easy to interact with, our experience at The Hacienda during a very difficult time for our family—being in town for a funeral—was disappointing. We chose this hotel despite it being more expensive than other options in town, assuming the higher price would reflect better accommodations. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Our room had several issues. The air conditioner was not functioning properly, the toilet required multiple flushes to work correctly, and the carpet was noticeably unclean. The hallways also had visible trash and appeared not to have been vacuumed in quite some time. Our daughter’s room was also below expectations; the bathtub was missing a stopper, making it impossible for our grandson to take a proper bath. When our son’s family checked in, they waited at the front desk for approximately 25 minutes before being assisted—difficult for anyone, but especially so with three young children, including one with special needs, after a four-hour drive. Their room was also underwhelming, and the iron didn’t work, requiring them to borrow ours. Breakfast was another disappointment. There was not enough food available—only enough batter for half an omelet and a spoonful of eggs—which was not sufficient for our family, especially with a funeral scheduled mid-morning and no time to wait for more food to be prepared. To add to the frustration, the discount that had been promised to our son was not applied, and I had to call after checkout to request the refund be issued to his card. Given the overall experience and the cost, we did not feel the stay was worth the price—perhaps not even half of it. Had we not been in town for a funeral, we likely would have requested a refund. Unfortunately, we will not be staying at this property again.

It also included AC, which we didn't need at the time of year we were there. Access to the dining area was very convenient, as a short walk inside was all that was needed. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly.

There was long black hairs stuck to the walls of the shower. My room was only 1 door away from a very busy entrance which the door closer needed adjusted as it slammed everytime it shut. Im glad I was fby myself as the king size bed had a big divit in it on one side and the pillows were not very comfortable. The best thing I found about this room was the super soft water and the quality of soap, shampoo, and conditioner was good.Also being located next door to the Monterey mexican restaurant was a plus.

Small service dog was never left in room unattended, nor barked nor was waste left in pet area. Pet area signs were still present and still present in March. Rooms are outdated, carpet gross, outlets not able to run a microwave, beds hard sheets threadbare. Staff rude.

Booked for two queen beds and got two full sized beds. The two queen beds we were supposed to get according to the booking were two full sized beds. The beds themselves were relatively comfortable but disappointed that they were not queen beds. The hallways had a weird smell and were dirty (needed vacuumed). During breakfast everything was low or out and they were fully booked the night prior. Overheard the staff saying they weren't going to refill the coffee and waffle maker.

I know it's a budget hotel, but the "amenities" they describe on their website are not what is actually offered. The "full continental breakfast" is non existent, the pool has been closed for "maintenance" for 5 years, the outside doors aren't locked, the room was dirty/dusty and had sticky floors & fixtures with stained sheets.

The food was not very warm, even thoughin the warmers. There was only 1 kind of muffin and no waffles. • Coastal13612553667 (2/5): Bad terrible - One of the worst terrible places to even be doing buisness ...bed bugs , mold on ac unit , no house keeping they don't even wash the sheets that goes on top ....I had to do my own housekeeping ...place smelled horrible as well ...don't know how they still in buisness ...and their breakfast has been molded at times along w bugs in food ....so pls I Do not recommend this terrible horrible place ...
