There was almost no water pressure in the shower. There was also construction blocking most access to the hotel.

Kersti (4/5): Main hotel is acceptable, avoid the motel style addition. - The location was good. Family had a hospital procedure scheduled and it was a short distance for the early morning drive. The first time I stayed in the main building and it was acceptable, basic. The second time, I stayed in motel style addition. Do not recommend. As a solo female it was a little unnerving as I was not expecting to stay in a motel. Cleanliness was as one would expect in a motel as well, unimpressed. When front desk was contacted, I was unable to change rooms due to the hotel being fully booked. No compensation was offered. Very over priced for a city motel.

There is a restaurant beside the BW called the Buttery and it had excellent service. My omelette was delicious and accommodated gluten-free dietary needs. Friendly staff. The heater in the room was loud and would come on about every 30 minutes. I was in room 115.

This was important because I travel with food that needs to have the icepack refreshed each day. The room was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was in a restaurant separate from the hotel but accessible from the hotel. I liked the convenience of it, and the breakfast was good. n/a

Sharon (7/5): With trhe exception of the bathroom fan and toilet, we were very satisfied with the hotel. - My partner took in breakfast at the adjoining restaurant and said it was very good and thought it quite reasonable. We found the hotel to be very conveniently located for a variety of restaurants and shopping and close to both the 404 and 400 highways. We found the fan in the bathroom very loud and disturbing. Since it did not have an off and on switch of its own, every time the light in the bathroom was turned on the fan would come on. This affected both of our sleep during the night. Also, the toilet in the bathroom was so low it felt like you were almost sitting on the floor. Very unsafe, especially for seniors.

murielmQ8407CE (6/5): Poor location - The room was clean and roomy. We were there for a hockey tournament. We didn’t choose the hotel, the conveyors did. Front desk was very helpful, except when it came to technical issues with the TV. Construction at the entrance of the hotel which made it difficult entering and exiting. For the price, we really expected a breakfast. These kids need something before their games. Even a bagged lunch, which we sometimes have had is better than no breakfast it could include a piece of fruit a bagel and yoghurt it’s in a brown bag you just hand it to them as they’re going out the door.It is a very busy location with the mall right across the road.

This was our second visit here as we drive from Nova Scotia to Ontario each year and this spot is a halfway mark in our long trip. We will be back again.

I felt reassured all the way in England that my dad would be taken care of.
