Nekeyshia (8/5): - The room smelled like to be a smoke free room, the shower hot water was not hot, first time turning on brown water comes out, then running for a few minutes, it clears up and the faucet water shoot out like it has not been used in months

So for what I needed it for was fine. It looked like king room I had was remodeled. Walk-in shower, stainless steel refrigerator and it was clean. No noise!

Billy (8/5): - I usually would not stay at a motel, but I took a risk by choosing this hotel and was pleasantly surprised. The room, shower, and bed were clean and orderly. If you are like me and on the fence about this one, you may be surprised. I was pleased, and the Mexican restaurant attached was not as bad as I expected either.
Charles (2/5): Horrible Owner - Well the owner had the door locked at breakfast this morning and when he opened the door he asked what room I was in I told him and he got all mad and started yelling at me because he said I complained they didn't have a casino and about not having hot water I thought he was going to attack me. Well I left my phone in the room and called up there and they said they found it well went to get it and he started yelling at me again because said they didn't have a casino well don't advertise one if you don't have one like really mad because you're false advertising!!! Horrible time

They give you the gallon milk for you to pour your milk right then and there and the put it in the refrigarator in the back. The juice machine was out. The picture on line shows a WAFFLE machine. NOT!

Brent (4/5): - The property is fine, probably the best place in the area out of very limited options. I was in town to attend an important funeral. I checked in in Fri and the funeral was on Sat. I had booked my room to stay Sun. Then check out on Mon. However,on Sat evening it was clear that the family wouldn't need my help on Sun. So I decided to leave one day early. When I got to the motel that Sat. night I stopped by the desk to tell them of my chanfe of plans. Sunday was also Mother's day and I wanted to get home with time to take my mom to dinner. That morningI went to check out expecting to be charged for only the 2 nights but my invoice was for all 3 nights as first booked. I was told nobody there had permission to to make changes to bookings. When I asked if I might ask the manager to adjust my invoice. That person wasn't in town and won't be back for a week. So I asked to get them on the phone which they did. But that's when things wrnt from bad to a rip off! I was told that they do not give refunds if you check out early. I pointed out that is not mentioned in the cancelation policy when I made the booking. Then I was told I booked through Expedia so complain to them,.. then they hung up. So once home I did complain to Expedia through the process of texting with a "real person". Who told me they would request a refund and to stay connected. After waiting the agent said they were told the manager was out of town for a week but Expedia would follow up at the endoftheweekcanyouguesswhathappenednextNOTHING
LaTasha (2/5): Do not go - Very outdated and cheap. That’s a $40 motel. Carpet needs to be replaced, the room has an old odor and the products are from the dollar tree.

michael (8/5): - I know that in this very small town, the owners have to rent to most anyone that comes in looking for a place to stay. However, there was a group that checked in several hours after we did, that spent a lot of time outside of their room in the parking area where they were noisy, drinking alcohol & smoking weed. This made us VERY uncomfortable to say the least. When people do these things in full view of everyone else, it makes one feel like their behavior was condoned by those in charge. We made an extra effort to stay inside our room when we returned from dinner which meant that we would nit get any ice because they were in the proximity of the ice machine. We were also concerned that our car might be broken into. This was not a good situation that we found ourselves 'stuck' in. At 3:00PM when we checked in, the manager went above & beyond to make sure that we were placed in the best room possible. His behavior impressed us &, as we will be in & out of that town due to a serious illness in our extended family, we were excited that such good service & cleanliness was available. We planned to stay there every time we came back to town. But, we have been frightened away due to the other guests' behavior. When you are visiting a relatively unknown area, the #1 thing you want is to feel safe wherever you stay.

Coretta (2/5): Never Again - The place was outdated and nasty. Stains in bed. Carpet nasty. Shower looked like it had poop on wall. Door dirty. Just trifling. Never ever would I stay there. Yuck! I got up at 5 and left at 6 am.

The person in room 110 reported us saying we had a dog 🐕 barking all night which it was the room next to me because the dog barked all night ..whoever said that could have knocked on our door to see if it was us instead of falsely reporting me. But the stay was fine and I will book again.
Heather (10/5): No frills but comfortable and friendly - No frills motel, but what makes it great are the people who work there including the owner. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean and they cleaned every day. anll of the amenities worked. So it served its purpose while staying in the area for work. Has a nice little park across the highway with a 1 mile walk/run path and a Mexican restaurant next to the motel. But as I said, the people. Owner and staff are friendly and accommodating. I always stay here when in this area and have never had any problems.

I actually ended up learning more about how to properly grow and take care of eggplants than I expected. Also, my room was very comfortable. I have stayed at this hotel, every trip that I have taken to visit family in Louisiana.

The proprietor was nice, the location was convenient, and it was reasonably clean. However, this is an old, tired property. The room was small and the shower pressure was pathetic. It met our needs for the night, but that was it.

Jimmy (4/5): Miserable - We rented a suite the a/c was cool not cold, there was a ceiling in the living room but not in not in the bedroom so it was hot must of the time. The a/c in the livingroom leaked water the rooms had an oder. It was two gust they only gave us on set of towel each. We stayed last year and had the same issues we verbally told then and this they said thank you for letting us know but nothing was done.
