- Miguel (10/5): Great stay, would come back again for sure. - Gentleman that checked me in was friendly and professional. Gave me tips for the area and best ways for travel. Parking was a little tight first night, second night was more space though. Wasn't really a problem for me, but that was one thing that I could tell frustrated other tenants. I'm used to parking in tight spots but other older couples I noticed had trouble.

Derek at the front desk was very kind, welcoming, and helpful. When we arrived, the parking lot was full, so he moved his car for us to park very near to our room entrance 😊. So thoughtful of him! To not have the shower movable.

It was tough only having double beds instead of queens. There were multiple breakfast items to choose from. There is not a pool as shown on some websites, but staff was friendly and helpful.

Very hot water, super cold AC, everything worked and looks like new appliances. CLEAN! Maintenance staff gentleman was incredibly nice! A bit of mildew on the ceiling in the bathroom could be painted, and the baseboard carpet was peeled away from the wall. Otherwise VERY CLEAN and well functioning.

It is dog-friendly, reliably heated and cooled, and the room was equipped with a refrigerator and microwave and a TV with cable. It is pretty standard for an American motel in a small town. We opted to have breakfast at the Wagon Wheel Restaurant, and that was terrific. Parking is convenient. Alturas is a quiet place with wildlife sometimes walking through town. We enjoyed our stay.

- Julie (6/5): Not great - That is very close to anything in town. There were ants in the bathroom, the lamp didn't work, the refrigerator made a clicking noise each morning at 5 am. The free breakfast was literally just biscuits and gravy and the store bought Sevenhard danishes. And there was no toilet paper in the room when we arrived.

- Long (8/5): Very good - That's a great area . Didn't like that the first room they gave us was not totally done in cleaning nor bed was not made nor garbage was not taking out , but they did fix it right away and ungraded us to a different room, so that was nice .
