- Daniel (4/5): - The property is old and poorly maintained. While the receptionist was friendly, nearly everything else was disappointing. The room showed clear water damage on the ceiling, with parts of the ceiling hanging down, and half of the curtains were stained. The carpet had multiple large stains, and the refrigerator was so loud it had to be unplugged. The shower and sink were filthy, with mold around the edges. Additionally, my reservation was for a king bed for two people, but at check-in I was told the only available option was a room with two double beds. This was especially inconvenient when traveling with a spouse.

Cobwebs behind end tables so thick it would catch anything that fell behind there. Toilet seat barely attached to toilet. Hair on walls in bath/shower area. Refrigerator bot working. Area outside door was covered in trash, spills on walkway and smelt like puke. Room way overpriced for what you got. Will not ever stay here again!
- Kaitlin (2/5): - This is a motel, not a hotel. Our “nonsmoking” room was located on the way back of the property that definitely smelled like smoke. We did not take showers as the water also had an odor. The outside of the rooms had trash, grills, and what appeared to be broke down cars all over. Had it not been so late and we were exhausted, we would have went else where. We will never stay here again and would not recommend anyone else as well.

Will always stay if I need a place close to Hot Springs . Best rate and best place. On site small general store for the little things. Absolute quiet from pool after 10pm. No worries. Cleaning staff excellent. Problems are addressed . Management hands on. Currently under Renovation for bar and food service. Fast food on either side fur late snacking. Delivery from local restaurants is handy. But room with fridge and microwave.

- Geoffrey (2/5): - We were not expecting the 4 Seasons but this hotel was far below our expectations. Run down, restaurant closed, no breakfast. But what really broke it for us was that the floor of our room had not been mopped in a long time. We spilled so water and mopped it up with a towel, the towel came back black as soot. My wife refused to even spend one night and we left immediately and went to a nicer placer right up the street.

My bare feet felt sticky and when I put on socks they got dirty. There was visible dirt on the bathroom floor behind the door and around the toilet and tub. There were cigarette burn marks on the tub. The room smelled of cigarette smoke.

- Markham (1/5): Don't waste your money or time... - Location is right off the interstate. The bedding was too small for the bed.. The bed was a king but the top sheet and blanket was a full size, the sheets had dirty dust marks as did the pillows. The lamps were rusted and corroded. Our room was not cleaned until after 4pm the next day, and even then I had to call and ask for it to be cleaned. They were cleaning rooms even at 730.pm that evening. The stairs were metal and had rust and peeling paint and the walkway looked as if it hadn't been swept in a long time. We tried to find the ice machine and discovered it is tucked away in the laundry. For the amount of money we paid for the stay, I would have expected much better!

But when we arrived to the room, there was black spots all over the walls, when I pulled the bed runner back, there was mold all over it.. I looked at my wife, and said grab all our stuff, and let’s get out of here. We went back to the front desk, offered a different room, she walked with us to inspect, first sight it was ok. We agreed to stay. We were researching the area, turned on a lamp to read, and the back side of the lamp was smashed in. I looked closer and there was black spots all over these walls too????? I would not recommend this place to anyone..

I was a little put off by having to park my car at the other end of the building from my room. I was also upset that the restaurant kitchen was closed for remodeling. We had stayed here a few years ago, and had fond memories of the restaurant. I hope it will be open again before our next visit. I hope in the future that whomever makes the decisions on the motel, reconsiders the coffee that is in the rooms, I know its complimentary but it is by far the worst coffee we ever tried to drink By all means if you need help choosing a new one please contact me.

The bed were made, and I didn't see any bed bugs. I did see bugs in the bathroom and dead ones on the carpet which was not vacuumed. I wish that we would have slept in the car instead.

- Justin (8/5): Pleased - The room they put us in was recently remodeled. It was nice! I would call this a no-frills hotel, but for our purposes (hiking/photography trip) it was perfect. The hotel has a little convenience store kiosk near the main desk, has very nicely arranged furniture in the lobby, and was quiet for our stay. We'll be glad to remember this place for future mountain travels that involve western Virginia. Falling Spring Falls isn't too far away, neither is Douthat State Park and the George Washington National Forest.

We get to our room and it smelled awful, there were spiderwebs, the pillows were filthy and the sheets were stained real bad, something gross was in the sink and the bathroom was horrible. We didn’t last more than 10 minutes in the room. I go up and tell the lady at the desk were not staying because the room was not clean and all she said was “okay what room number?” i told her and she just said okay and walked away. Honestly not worth the money to spend. There is no excuse for me to spend that much money on a room for that kind of service.

- ameliarA1762PL (10/5): Best hotel in covington - Was a awesome visit from being greeted by a very sweet lady at the front desk to the cleanliness of the hotel rooms got to meet one of the housekeepers was a friendly young man are room was 108 right near the pool it was a awesome experience plus they got a bar and a restaurant 5 stars to the staff 10 stars for whoever hired them will be back every time I come this way...

- ahU1268FK (10/5): If your still debating Stay here. - 5 stars me & my family drove into Covington for a funeral and stayed at this hotel after spending days & hours looking for a hotel that would accept dogs ( most were booked up bc the holiday coming up ) The view was perfect. The rooms were cleaned , convient and the amenities were nice. If you’re looking for a hotel that accepts pets I recommend this one. They treated us well , kudos to Angelia & Daniel.
- kimberlyoZ996OH (6/5): Sleepable but needs help - The restaurant is no longer in business, sadly- Just needs some tlc. However, I'd stay again. If u want quiet don't get a pool side room for multiple reasons. Thin blankets, broken items in room, lingering people at their doors, toilets take a minute to flush, stains on carpet, microwave and fridge with small coffee maker. Bottles of water and mints when you arrive. Midnight worker not very nice or respectable. To be honest this hotel used to be something awesome, u can just tell. Its just gotten run down and has lost its overall spunk in every department. Tlc and upgrades and it'd be like Hampton inn down the street but 30$ cheaper. And would BANK! I do appreciate the stay I had just wished it was cleaner, and more put together as one. If you can afford the 30$ xtra... I'm sorry but go to the Hampton inn up the road!

- Alvie (4/5): - It was dirty and smelly. Rooms weren’t clean. Our security latch was broken. Wasn’t worth 170.00. Advertised free breakfast. I didn’t see any. Gave us a room, it wasn’t cleaned! Gave us another room.
- Rebecca (2/5): - Do not stay here. The pictures have not been updated in a while obviously. The carpet was wet and it smelled musty and moldy. There was water stains on the ceiling and the curtains, there is no Wifi. The beds were uncomfortable. There is no breakfast or meals whatsoever. The area is limited with restaurants, mostly all of them were closed but Doninos and Taco Bell. For the price is it was not worth it.
- Kelly (2/5): Latest ripped off customer - We went inside our room and it was disgusting. Carpet dirty, window filthy, a hole under the door that anything could crawl into your room, long term people not so clean(dirty bbq grill in the walkway on 2nd floor), bathroom, nasty. Could go on and on. There is absolutely no mountain view. We ended up going to another hotel. We should get our money back.
- Holiday_Maker49022 (2/5): Just sleep in your car - I guess the family that owned this once decent hotel sold it. The result: Run for your life!! You’ll think this after walking into the lobby which before looked exactly like you’d expect a hotel lobby to look like. Now, when you walk in it looks like the love child of a hoarder and a 7-11. It’s bad. When the person at the front desk asked for a credit card to charge some additional fee despite the fact that I’d paid in full online, I thought “why so you can steal the number and sell it online?” They tried to up charge me for something bogus and backed off when I questioned it. Weird. I was exhausted so I stayed but it I was glad to get out alive. The room was saturated in fragrance spray that made me think the last occupant died there. It was years late for a do-over. Not exact dirty but not clean either. If this place is still open you’d probably be better off sleeping in your car. I’m not kidding. It’s not okay. I suspect all this is pandemic caused but still…
- Elizabeth (6/5): - the property was ok, they were remodeling rooms and the one that cleaned ro0ms was very poor. you adverted free breakfast and they did not have that, which is false advertisement, that was one of the reason for booking this hotel , and for what you charge for the rooms, I feel I should get some kind of refund for your false advertisement.

- David (6/5): - The website said that it had breakfast and that was one factor for us to choose since we were on a long drive. The hotel clerk said the restaurant had been closed for a couple of months for upgrade but website needs to be updated. The bath towels were stained and vert worn. Some of the staff were very friendly some not so much(maybe having a bad day?). The hotel really needs an updating overall, it looks old.

- J5998LYfranks (2/5): Absolutely Terrible in ALL respects - The room was nasty, there was no restaurant or free breakfast as advertised, there was a $10 cover charge if you wanted to have a drink in the "lounge", help was difficult to find at front desk, there was no ice since the ice machine was broken........... What a huge mistake falling for their ad or Tripadvisors ridiculous rating of second best in the area.
- D1229MQjamess (2/5): No business sense!!! - My Family wanted to stay there said it was a decent place to stay ….. no !!! cheap yes . I was told there’s a restaurant and a bar and were working on updating the building. I arrived and had to use the bathroom so walked into the men’s restroom and there’s a bag on one of the urinals and the other barely hanging on the wall , holes in the tile can see behind it and into the wall . A real unpleasant order like a well used truck stop bathroom. My Aunt made reservations for two adjoining rooms days prior and everything was worked out but when we got there someone was staying in one of those rooms and extended his stay and was gonna give us two different rooms that weren’t joining. Instead of moving him to another room and giving us what we reserved. The women’s answer was well that’s how we do it here well not at all how it should be done .she told us the cook walked out two days prior haven’t heard from her since and so no restaurant. It was terrible we were able to cancel our reservations and we went to the Hampton Inn just right up the street . So it may cost you a little more but we’ll worth it .

- Verified traveler (6/5): - Had to ask for towels didnt get maid service on second night. Had to get room key reprogrammed every day. Tplet ran all the time and the fridge made noise. Wasn't a good stay won't be booking that hotel again.
- Mary Ann (2/5): The most terrible motel we ever stayed at. - This was the worst motel we ever stayed in. The elevator light was not working, the web site said we were to get a continental breakfast and all we got was a paper bag breakfast with a bar, banana, a pudding, raisins and applesauce. That is not a continental breakfast thus false advertisement.. The bed was broken, the blanket on the bed had a hole in the center and did not fit the bed. There was vibration in the room. I found a condom in the drawer of the bedside table. The hallways had scat on them. The towels were worn and ragged. We had a terrible stay.

- lonniew879 (2/5): Spend $150 and Expect More - If you want to be disappointed in where you spend $150 then book here. Otherwise, find another hotel. The hotel lobby looked unkept (ceiling tiles not fully inserted) and the restaurant was closed. Even though we had reservations, the check-in was lengthy with moments wondering if we were going to have to go somewhere else at 8:00 p.m.. After finding and losing our reservation three times the comment was made "Let me go see if it is ready." She returned with a big fan stating, "I had to pick up my fan on the way." When we arrived in the room it had a musty smell. In summary, the room had experienced a water leak and the carpet outside the bathroom was still wet. There was no hand soap at the sink. The conditioner dispenser in the tub did not work. The Roku TV sound did not work. The wifi did not work so I was unable to complete necessary work. There were no electric outlets by the beds and only one bedside lamp (noticeably rusty and old at the base). The "complimentary breakfast" consisted of a bag with water, banana, small honey bun, apple sauce, pudding cup, granola bar, Nab cheese crackers, and raisins. The desk attendant was pleasant and was checking with management. Management did not answer her calls. Positives: it was quiet and the bed was comfortable. The shower water was hot. For the cost of the room we didn't expect the experience we had. We would not return nor recommend this hotel.
