- Steven (7/5): Some positive. Some negative. This is a very tired hotel - Bed was comfortable. Bar/resto was good. Staff nice Bathroom hasn’t been remodeled since….1979?
Very tired building
Bathroom wasn’t cleaned very well
- Eric (6/5): Ok - La proximité et le prix Recevoir un Texto à 8:15 pour savoir quand je quitte !!!
Lorsqu’on s’est couché tard !! J’ai pas aimé
- Liam (2/5): -
- Sean (7/5): -
- Allan (8/5): Suited me just fine for my needs - Location and Sports Bar next door
- Dave (6/5): -
- Jessica (4/5): - Location Peeling wallpaper and possibly mold along edge of ceiling????, a joint door and could hear the person beside us. Toilet would keep running after being flushed.
- Amanda (3/5): Not coming back if I need to stay in this area again - My colleague had bugs in her room. They changed her room, but she later found more bugs in her new room. My room had a dirty toilet seat - Not the lid, but urine on the seat.
- Daniel (7/5): - Sports bar Room furniture is getting run down
- Kim (4/5): - The location It was just a place to stay overnight after working long hrs for a local company . The heater did not work, the room was extremely cold, was too tired and too late to call. I was placed on the second floor down the hall from the side entrance, the first room to hit the draft from the side door. The side door of the building is broken, does not lock, and often stays open. Very unsafe for women traveling alone. The bathrooms have mold and not sure what was splashed against the bathroom door, the dust along the wall was built up, food left in the fridge. I felt like I stayed at some type of brothel and would check this place out first for missing women, this one slept with one eye open and bear spray in hand.
- Glenn (7/5): - You had to ask for ice at the lobby even though there are still signs up saying there's an ice machine on the 3rd floor.
- Dianne (9/5): Other than the above noted everything was good - Breakfast was excellent. Served quickly and food was hot The shower head needs to be replaced. The shower head was not working properly.
- Lynn (1/5): The place has gone downhill so much and we will not stay there again . - Not much. The lady at the front desk was friendly and helpful? The property is run down - the heat wasnt working properly. The first room was freezing the second one was too hot … the wall paper was peeling off the wall.
No one came to clean our room … and someone was arrested there (we hear there are a lot of drugs involved on the property) and their dog was left in a room - it took hours before someone came to get the poor dog. And the food wasn’t great - the chips from the fish and chips were cold and not fresh.
- Barry (10/5): Very good experience with the facility and staff. - We had a supper time meal and breakfast both meals excellent and staff curtious and kind. Bath tub area could use some grab bars in the tub area
- Gabriela (1/5): - Was not breakfast, very ugly place Need to update this hotel, very expensive for very poor service, and ugly dirty place, was similar to a horror movie
- Céline (7/5): Would probably use Days Inn again… - Close to the highway, fairly priced. Bathroom had a bad smell, especially when fan was put on. May need a cleaning…
Or, could be the toilet also….
Other than that, it was OK…
- Nathalie (9/5): -
- Kim (8/5): -
- Kristjan (10/5): -
- Prest (1/5): - I liked the location The bathroom had mold on the ceiling, we booked an additional day and they tried to tell us to leave when we had paid for 2 nights and when we were packing to go at 10am (check out is at 11AM) our key cards stopped working.
It's just a bad experience this time. I really wish there was a second hotel in renfrew. We will probably use a motel next time. I do not want to go back.
- Edi Patricia Nava Quintero (6/5): Fine considering limited options. - Close to shopping, the highway and restaurants, far enough away it was quiet. The hair dryer had burned plastic inside, and the heater stopped working during the night. Cold air was blowing in through the heater/air conditioner all night, was cold in the morning.
- Erlyn (10/5): -
- Blessing Olamide (10/5): -
- Sparrow (10/5): - The staff were excellent the inn is in a quiet spot but close to shop and restaurants Would need some renovation and new beds
- Sharon (6/5): Dated and rude - Not much Very dated When I called to say there was a better rate on Expedia and asked if they would match gentleman said no call Expedia. Terrible front desk service
- Kim (9/5): - It was the quietest place I slept ever! This is what I needed, no distractions, no screaming kids, no drunks yammering in the hallways. Im sure things will be different in the summer, great quiet refuge for those working extra hrs and overtime in Renfrew County to get a break...it was therapy! Close to Walmart, gas stations. The shower walls probably need to be replaced all together.
- Gil (5/5): Asked for clean towels did not get them - It’s okay
- Shannon (7/5): -
- Mary (5/5): Just meh. - Convenient location.
Bed was very comfortable. Very dated and run down facility.
Desperately needed a renovation.
- Gavin (8/5): Clean and good location friendly staff - Location

- Charlene (8/5): -
- Ron (6/5): -
- John (7/5): -
- Terry (8/5): Consistently Good Quality Family Accommodations - Co-located with a good restaurant and bar.
- Agnes (6/5): It was comfortable but wouldn’t want to stay for too long. - It was available on short notice The hotel is outdated and needs money put in to almost every part of the whole building.
It’s location is not walking distance to any downtown restaurants or bars. Bonus is taxis were not too expensive as it’s flat rate not Uber.
Don’t like that the price doesn’t include breakfast or an indoor pool/hot tub.
- Destiny (4/5): - There where a bunch of flies everywhere
- Andreas (5/5): -
- Barbara (10/5): - Clean room. Good beds
- JIM (1/5): ABSOLUTY HORRIFYING - NOTHING I ARRIVED AT AROUND 11:30pm. I WENT TO USE THE WASHROOM AND THERE WAS HUMAN WASTE IN THE TOILET. I FLUSHED AND THE TOILET DIDN'T FLUSH. IJUST WENT TO BED. GOT UP EARLY AND SHOWERED AND WENT TO MAKE A COFFEE IN THE COFFEE MAKER AND THERE WAS A MOULDY COFFEE PACKET LEFT IN THE COFFEE MAKER. I JUST LEFT. I SPOKE TO THE STAFF ON MY WAY OUT ABOUT MY CONCERNS AND THEY COULDN'T HAVE CARED LESS. TYHE DAYS IN SENT ME A SURVEY BY TEXT WHICH I TOLD THEM ABOUT MY CONCERNS WITH THE ROOM AND THEY COULDN'T HAVE CARED EITHER. I BOOK ALL OF MY MOTELS THROUGH BOOKING.COM AND AM NOT VERY IMPRESSED WITH THIS MOTEL. I UNDERSTAND SOME THINGS CAN GET MISSED BUT HUMAN FECESS LEFT IN A TOIOLET THAT DOES NOT FLUSH AND MOULDY COFFE PACKETS LEFT IN THE COFFE MAKER MAKES A GUY WONDER ABOUT HELTH CONCERNS EVEN STAYING THERE. I WAS NOT OFFERED ANYTHING ENVEN SO MUCH AS AN APPOLOGY.
- Marshall (3/5): We will never stay at this hotel again, and will probably avoid the Days Inn chain in general. - There was no breakfast, so I don't know why that was one of the prompts. There was lots of parking. The sports bar is good, and had live music. It was the dirtiest, most run-down hotel I have ever stayed at. Broken security door. Filthy carpet that smelled like dog, and I think they treated it with javex or something because the soles of my feet were mildly burning the whole stay. Water damaged ceiling falling apart. Bathroom towel rack was broken off and hanging, and it looks like they tried to fix it with a bad glue job, which is ridiculous. Few visitors at the hotel, but they gave us a room with a terrible view; it looked out onto the sports bar roof, and the window didn't lock, so we could have easily been robbed. I mean, if you want someone to visit again, why would you do that?? It's fall, and the view from other rooms would have been fantastic, which makes it worse. Replacement TV remote didn't work right, so you had to manually search for channels. We basically stayed in the room as little as possible the whole time we were there.
- Crista (10/5): - Person who checked us in was excellent.
- Robert (3/5): Enough - Beds were comfy Tv remote didn't work, toilet wasn't flushing and when i tried to phone front desk the phone didn't work. Had to go down to get a plunger which we had to use every time we used the toilet.
- Cesar (8/5): - Staff is very friendly
- Joanne (4/5): - Never stay in 508. You hear the elevator dinging all night long
- Maureen (8/5): - Staff was wonderful. Hotel needs updating. Mold in the shower.
- Wehner (8/5): The staff were excellent - This location needs some updating.
- carl (8/5): - Good
- Bill (6/5): - Comfortable beds, good shower and towels but old, tired, needs update. Mold on shower
- Abian (8/5): -
- Katherine (5/5): -
- vanessa (5/5): Doubtful I will return - No breakfast available, and if there was, I wasn’t informed Very noisy- an assault occurred while I was there- pet room was carpeted, so smelled of per
- Camille (6/5): - Needs up grade
- Leanne (8/5): - We enjoyed our stay.
Bed was very comfortable, and the staff were pleasent.
Hassle-free for pets and grass around the building to walk them.
- Abigail (10/5): - The staff was great and they were super accommodating to us coming by bicycle. Helped us figure out which cab companies were open so we could go out to see a movie. Hotel is older but the room was clean and comfortable! Not easily walkable to the downtown (about 3.5 km walk) but quiet area and close to Walmart etc.
- Naseeruddin (5/5): Good hotel but FAR AWAY from Ottawa Downtown. Location is bad - upon searching online this hotel popped up as located in or near Ottawa but after entering Canada I found out this hotel is located almost ONE hour or more away from downtown. Very misleading. I had no other choice at 11PM but to travel to this hotel with kids. Please don't show this hotel as Ottawa hotel list.
- Radoslaw (2/5): - Loud, room is scuff. It’s a bed and that is all. Someone sprayed pepper spray on the hallway was coughing my lungs out for a bit.
- Kevin (7/5): - Price, location, convenience
- Heather (4/5): - Bar patrons outside smoking as we went to enter. Holes in the walls inside the room. I ended up leaving with dozens of bed bug bites!
- Patricia (10/5): - Bath tub did not drain, door did not lock.
- Mr & Mrs Carter (6/5): - The facilities and room were very clean. Location was great, short drive to food spots, groceries, walking trails etc. Restaurant on-site was amazing, food was delicious and service was great. Bed was not very comfortable, was too hard. The pool was closed for maintenance. However, we did not see anyone working on fixing it nor was there any signage stating that maintenance was taking place and when it would be open again. Air conditioner was loud and didn't seam to get to the temperature we set but was comfortable for the duration of our stay.
- karen (4/5): - Everything about this hotel needs updating. The bed was awful I felt I was sliding into a valley/pit into the middle of the mattress. There were dead flies in the light fixture in the bathroom & absolutely no toiletries. It was a horrible experience. I can appreciate it is a rural community & certainly didn’t expect a high end hotel but I would definitely not recommend staying at this hotel
- Tom (6/5): - Location
- PALMER (4/5): - The sports bar No calking on shower faucet so it moved around, mould on grout and ceiling , fixture was poorly maintained.
- Peters (10/5): -
- Gary (6/5): - Bit old style and worn - good use upgrade
- Daniel (7/5): - Emplacement pratique Notre chambre trop de bruit venant des systèmes d'air climatisé du toit
- Kevin (2/5): Not as it should’ve been - As we book the room expecting we were told we would have breakfast we did not get breakfast. The room was not tidy like the floor you could tell wasn’t vacuumed very well. The air conditioner was clogged solid. My husband washed the filter. The toilet was after every flush it would take forever and make lots of noise filling back up, so we stopped flushing it all the time The side door where you could access from the parking lot slammed every time someone went in and out, and we did ask them at the desk later that day if he said he was gonna go look at it I told him my room number we never heard back from him, and it just continued to slam the slow down part was not activated and there was also no lock on the door so anyone could walk in which concerned us Under the door going into the room there was a huge gap from the hallway bigger than we’ve ever seen so fire safety that was a bit concerned for us too overall we are very disappointed
- Laura (8/5): - The room was awful! LOL but we like the spot and the people. So meh. I saw awful because there were dead flies all over the floor, the tiles grout in the bathroom were black. Everything was kind of broken and had the landlord special. The windows are dated. The badge is comfortable enough, but the sheets were OK. I was a little too expensive for the state of the room. It needs some serious updating and replacement, but you can’t beat the awesome service at the front desk or the location so we will be going back.
- erin (4/5): In a bind no where else to stay in Renfrew. - Close to town, good price and comfortable beds The rooms are filthy, carpets need replacing, window screens torn, wallpaper tiles torn and cracked, tubs rusty and end of life. Rooms smell smoky artwork dated and damaged broken mirrors in bathrooms
- Helen (10/5): - The hotel was very clean, had lots of parking (we had a moving truck and two cars), is pet friendly (every room), and has an amazing staff (friendly and pro-actively helpful). The restaurant serves very good food and is open for breakfast through evening. The location is genius, very near the intersection of Highways 17 and 60 👍👍👍
- Annie (8/5): -
- James (8/5): -
- Thompson (4/5): - Did not use, had to leave earlier than breakfast opened Noise
- Kevin (6/5): - Very much needing renovation and update
Very noisy at night we had driven 14 hours needing a good nights sleep
Rooms are very outdated and bathrooms need work
Very expensive for one double bed
- Lynda (8/5): - Not really clean. Well worn walks etc. Noisy, squeaky elevator. There was a hair on the bathtub before I used it. No breakfast included.
- Wayne (10/5): - Loved the Restaurant attached to the hotel.
- Andrew (6/5): - Rooms were good, beds comfortable.
The restaurant was good friendly and served tasty ",pub food: The hotel public areas are in need of refurbishment, and check in took 3 attempts to get working room keys! AC units were noisy.
- Trevor (4/5): - Old and dirty
- Ralph (10/5): - Easy access with lots of parking
- Lianne (2/5): - The cleanliness of the room was terrible. Still hair on the bathroom floor. Dead bugs in the room. People late at night next door were loud and woke us up.
- Joe (4/5): It was low cost - The restaurant was quite good Toilet malfunctioned on every use.
There was no safety mat for the shower
I requested a safety bar in the shower. There wasn’t one
TV cable was low quality and low resolution
- Ronn (8/5): - Great business hotel
- DANIEL (4/5): - Very noisy AC in the room, Rooms are rundown and poorly maintain.
- Glenna (6/5): Great location but could use a refresh. - Great location close to the highway with shopping nearby Property and rooms feel dated and need and refresh. Especially bathroom. No glasses available, just paper coffee cups. Instant coffee provided wasn’t very good quality.
- Carol (6/5): It was satisfactory for a quick overnight stay. - Staff were friendly and helpful.
Bed was comfy and spacious - King suite. Smelled and noisy.
- Ginette (8/5): - Lit un peu dure mais tout de même co fortable. Nous avons été changé de chambre, pour nous permettre de voir nos motos. Le jeune homme à l'accueil était bien sympathique.
- Joe (7/5): I recived what I paid for. - Price and comfort I am 77 years old. I was very concerned about slipping in the shower. I would have loved to have a safety rail in the tub & shower. I almost slipped a few times.
- Deborah (6/5): - The property is in a great location. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant/bar on sight that is under seperate contract was great. The hotel was not clean. There was dust and webbs in the hallways, on light fixtires. In the room under the bed was disgusting. The walls had dust and webbs. It is in need of updating as well.
- Rachel (10/5): - The property and most everything else was great. The beds were a bit too soft, for me anyway. They were very clean however.
- Dawn (10/5): - Quiet and comfortable. Was easy axcess ro stores and restaurants
- Junell (4/5): Fossilised Chips ahoy. - The room is huge During check in process they gave us room that haven't yet cleaned. Check in time: 4:00 pm. They give us another room unfortunately the room is disgusting. Food drops are everywhere, fossilised chips ahoy is the corner and the worst part.... The wall has remarkable fluid drop marks and it's pretty obvious that it came from human. When I took UV light pen it glows not from urine but from ..... something else.
Never recommend this place. Go somewhere else
- Nora (8/5): Our Recent Stay! - Everything was good staff very kind and beds very comfortable.Stay here every yr for our family reunion. Was also nice have room near elevator as had the 8yr old with us with walker. The bed lamps had no bulbs at all in either so had to use only light out by doors so had to walk in dark to shut off for night. Also no table for other person in bed by bathroom which the elderly person needed had to use walker to put drinks ect that need to have in night by bed .Also no rails to help older person sit on toilet so had to help get up as wasn't able to stand up on own for sitting position .Other than few issues we enjoyed our stay .Thanks Nora
- Neil (7/5): Appropriate value and satisfactory for guys on a motorbike trip - Restaurant was good and room was clean Outside should be cleaned up, pool area was a mess
