- Lori (3/5): Don’t stay here. - The property was clean. I tried to call front desk for weeks and weeks. I got others to call as well but none of us were able to get anyone to answer the phone. I found out why when we got there. The boy working front desk left his friends outside long enough to check us in but then was back outside sitting in a little black car with them. I didn’t bring my dogs with me— because I couldn’t get in touch with anyone from the hotel. I even called the main # to quality inn and they said they didn’t know why no one was answering. This entire experience was just bad. And then when I got there he tried to charge me again for a room I already paid in full for! And I got no discount for having no pets with me.
- Eva (1/5): - We use to stay here just about everytime we were in town but this time it was not the same Just seems different than it used to be....not very clean unfriendly people working now & the breakfast was the worse ever it use to be a great place to stay idk what happened & its sad bc our grandson lives here so we will have to find a new place to stay....I think it was best western before so maybe its under new owners & if so it definitely shows

The hotel staff didnt clean up the room, there wasn’t a enough towels and wash cloths, one day the trash wasn’t emptied at all the next day the trash can in the restroom was empty but the trash in the room wasn’t no vacuuming air sweeping in the rooms, didn’t clean the tub, didn’t make up the bed at all.and the pool was very cold, hot tub not hot.

- Olga (4/5): very disappointing. - Our reservation was honored and the price was as we expected from the booking. The lobby was nice. The property is extremely run-down. Everything outside the lobby needs an update; even paint would do this location a lot of good. It could be a lot better if they invested some money back. Skip the breakfast, skip the pool, noisy at night, very, very motel 6 creepy vibes.
- Janell (7/5): Convenient location stay included comfortable beds, but not much else. - Check in was quick and easy. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, and the shower was hot. In-room amentities included a large mini-fridge, coffee was provided and the TV entertainment options met expectations. Included continental breakfast. The facility felt neglected--obviously lack of maintenance to the exterior was evident upon arrival, parking lot leased out as overflow storage for Uhaul rentals, ripped privacy curtains in the room window. Upon arrival, the clerk informed us that the treadmills were inoperable. The pool was dark and not inviting. The shower in the room didn't drain well and needs a replacement head. Breakfast was just adequate--we chose to bypass it.
- Kristina (1/5): It was awful and the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. Do not use this hotel! - There wasn't much that my family and I liked. Everything that we needed, was not available to us at all. We would not recommend this hotel for anyone else to use. The staff was probably the worst I have ever had at any hotel. Almost the entire time we were there, the front desk was empty. There was no way to contact staff to get help for check in, pool towels, or breakfast needs. We were not allowed to have 3 key cards for 3 guests. We were told that there was not anymore towels. However, we saw stock piles of cleaned & folded towels in the laundry room after we waited forever to get pool towels. I do not appreciate being lied to. The hot tub was severely dirty and not likely cleaned in a long time. During the breakfast hours of 7-9am, there was no food left and the staff refused to put out or cook anymore. We chose this hotel for location, which worked out great with being super close to Radford. In addition we really wanted to relax in the hot tub, but it was too dirty. Lastly, we wanted breakfast in the morning, but left without being able to eat at all.

Plenty of plugs to charge my devices. Good hot water, good water pressure. Towel were clean and fresh. The toilet AND the sink were SHORT. I'm old, and can't squat that far. AND I was the only guest in the hotel. This must have been their best room!!. AC/Heat was noisy. Refrigerator was noisy. Indoor pool was stinky, not closed??? Card entry on EVERY door, even to breakfast room, AND broken off on the main entry. I felt like this must be a tough neighborhood. Signs everywhere for check in /out times and fees should you bring your college child to breakfast. Didn't really feel welcome.

- Ashley (2/5): Just don’t. 😅 - Nothing much. The overall atmosphere just wasn’t very friendly. We didn’t have enough towels in our room for our guests, and getting more was a chore. They didn’t want to give them to us. There were signs everywhere waiting to charge incidental fees for a number of things. For example: if you took pool towels to your room, took breakfast items to your room, didn’t bring them your key card at check out, etc. Not to mention, we were still actually charged our incidental fee and they had to redeposit it. It was not a pending charge. I had to call and speak with someone about it before they put it back into my account. I’m honestly a little scared they’re gonna read this review and charge me an incidental fee. Lol

- Sara (1/5): Horrible! - The location to a tournament was the only good thing about this place, but due to the rudeness, no hot water when showering, and not being allowed to have enough towels and wash cloths to shower we will Never choose this place again. The staff was very rude. Hottub wasn’t hot and was dirty. The shower only had hot water for less than 5 minutes. They refused to give us enough towels and wash cloths for our amount of guests. When asked he flat out said no he would not. I explained they didn’t leave enough and he didn’t care and turned the vacuum on in the lobby while I was speaking. They didn’t take our dirty towels the next morning. They knocked my stuff off the sink when they left the same amount of towels the next day ( still not enough). I again went to front desk and it was the same man. He refused. I have never stayed somewhere that we couldn’t even have enough wash clothes and towels for everyone to take a shower! This place was horrible. We travel a lot for games and we will never stay here again. The only picture I took was the stains on the blanket.

The hot water in dispenser wasn't hot but was warm. I would have liked eggs, bacon in addition to all the food from the bread/cereal group offered.

While the breakfast was very basic, the environment was great Location was very convenient. I wish the room was cleaned more often than done during my stay. I have decided not to make a lot of complaints after asking the staff to clean it a couple of times. The room key was also dysfunctional several times which has created inconvenience enormously.

- abG3506GK (2/5): WARNING: Unauthorized Charges and Fraudulent "Ghost Refunds" - Do not stay here unless you are prepared to fight for your money weeks after you leave. This property has a systemic "glitch" where they capture your $100 incidental deposit as a finalized sale days after you check out, then refuse to return it. I checked out on 10/25 with a $0 balance folio. On 10/27, the hotel successfully captured and posted a $100 charge to my card. When confronted, management provided a receipt from 10/25 claiming the funds were "released." A receipt from the 25th cannot account for a charge that was taken on the 27th. They are "releasing" holds on the wrong cards while keeping the cash they took from the check-in cards. I filed a complaints with the BBB and state of VA. Hotel management will not respond to emails or phone calls. Avoid avoid avoid!

- Jessica (1/5): No - Nothing If I could give this location 0 stars, I would. And I'm not hard to please. We planned to stay for the week of Christmas, visiting relatives in the area. I had stayed here years ago and loved it. I'm not sure what's happened since then, but it's not the place it was. 1. They made me put down a $100 deposit upon arrival, which was not mentioned anywhere in the booking info. Fine, no big deal, it will be refunded after checkout. 2. The building is older and I get that, but is in need of repairs and updates, it looks awful. The lobby is neat and clean but the rooms are old and dirty. There were what seemed to be boogers stuck to the walls, stains on the bedding, towels had rips and holes in them. 3. The beds make loud metal cranking noises if you move an inch. So, sleep wasn't great. 4. The room keys kept not working, had to get them reset 4 times. Also had to stand and wait at the front desk twice for this and there was no employee to be found. I called corporate and they were able to track them down and ask them to come back to the desk. The employee then said he'd been fixing a "major plumbing leak" in a room, but he was bone dry. 5. We chose this hotel over others because there's a pool and a hottub. The pool hours are 10a - 10p, but they keep the door locked and you have to go to the front desk (and hope someone is there) to get the door opened. Also, no towels. And half the lightbulbs in the pool area are dead. We didn't even want to use it after seeing it. 6. There are signs up in the breakfast area about a $15 fine if you take food out of the area. The selection was very small and some of the food was stale. 7. One of our children had a medical emergency in Christmas day and actually ended up having to have a surgery. I stayed at the hospital and my husband went back to pack and check out so we wouldnt need to worry about that the next morning and we'd just stay at the hospital anyway.

- Craig (3/5): Not going back - Lobby main halls and room were clean The key cards worked intermittently in the room and rarely on all exterior doors. The stench of the hall to the pool was overwhelming. The hot tub was barely warm and there was a pair of titey whiteies sunk in the bottom.. Gross. More U-haul trailers than guests. What business are they in...? Breakfast was lame.
- SANDRA SIMMONS (1/5): NOT PLEASANT - BUILT IN AREA NEAR A LOT OF STORES, GAS STATIONS, ETC NO COFFEE POT, HOWEVER, OTHER SUPPLIES THERE. REQUESTED ONE WHEN WE FIRST GOT IN ROOM , NEVER RECEIVED. STAYED IN THIS AREA TO BE CLOSE TO HOSPITAL AS I WAS HAVING A PROCEDURE. MY TIME WAS CHANGED TO 1;30, I REQUESTED LATER CHECK OUT AND GAVE ME ONE EXTRA HOUR. ALSO, SOAP, SHAMPOO, CONDITIONER IN SQUEEZE BOTTLE ATTACHED TO WALL FOR EVERYBODY. NO DISPOSIBLE BOTTLES. WAS RUN DOWN. NOT VERY CLEAN. WOULD NOT STAY THERE AGAIN. BREAKFAST WAS TERRIBLE

- Arlynn (9/5): Very nice clean accommodations enjoyed it - I’ve stayed here often on to go to the Radford Deer Hunt. It meets all of my needs. The only thing that could’ve been better were the eggs for breakfast. And if that’s the only thing wrong, I call it a big win.
- Burton (5/5): Good place to stay but bigger bathroom - Comfortable bed to sleep in Rooms need update and repairs to heating system as well as exterior repairs. ADA bathroom needs larger space and update shower facilities.

- Hannah (4/5): - The building was older but pretty. Location was great. It was outdated, it felt like it was understaffed as well. Upon checking in, as we were walking to our room it smelled strongly of weed, even though it said it was a smoke free hotel. Breakfast was not what I was expecting I guess. There was cereal, waffle machine, biscuits and gravy. Waffles tasted sour, biscuits were tiny and hard. You get what you pay for I guess

The ad advertised breakfast was prepackaged bagels and cereal and they ran out of coffee. The outside of the building is falling apart and the rooms are very outdated.
- London (7/5): Decent spot for a budget - Great pool and hot tub. Front desk service was good. Location decent. Beds decently comfy. Daily Maid service was less than average. Had to ask for towels daily and ask them to change my trash when full. Overall clean but the carpet was sticky

Requested to pay in cash upon arrival, was required to pay a $100 deposit in addition to the room rate. Checked out next morning, no one available at the desk. Waited several minutes. Called from my cell phone. No one ever showed up. Ended up having to leave for an appointment without my cash deposit. To date, I have called several times requesting my deposit and no one has bothered to call back. Room was also dirty, bathtub had dirt in it. Breakfast was ok. Would not recommend. Other nicer hotels in area.

- Serens (5/5): Disappointed 😞 - The staff are amazing 👏 yall did great Well our sheets looked dirty and was stained on both beds, also the same for the other room I reserved. neither fridge worked pool was pretty just by looks but the water was like ice the board said 75 degrees but no my goosebumps, goosebumps said girl get out before u die of hypothermia. Hot tub was warm but really stained and we were just warming up and noticed it's not just stained but really dirty, nasty it was just gross we spent more time out in our car then in the rooms

- Nichole (3/5): Very terrible, was a complete mistake to even trust that this hotel would be comfortable and decent for me and my elderl - Close to Radford University No handicap was available because it was reserved for Saturday even though I stayed on Friday. Also, breakfast was supposed to be available and there were no breakfast only coffee and juice. I also packed to use the pool and the pool room was very dark no lights and smelled funny. The beds slid every time you sat on them. The towels were very small when you took a shower. I also feel like someone came in the room when we were not there due to the TV being cut off when I left it on when I left my room. Very disappointing. Not mention it was a huge thing on the comforter.

Pool was closed for weather ( was raining outside but it was an inside pool) anyway, the next morning, tried to go swimming before we checked out still not open. I asked the front desk and they said they just weren't opening it. .

Easy parking and decent location, but still surprised how pricey it was for the quality of hotel (albeit it was Virginia Tech’s parents weekend/football game but still…)

- Samantha (7/5): I would stay again if had too - Overall nice hotel good location, clean, did not have a smell like other reviews stated our room was clean and nice Plain breakfast but thanks to Covid that’s kinda the new normal pillows go completely flat shower pressure leaves you feeling like you still have soap on you I got woke up twice by loud guests early am hours but (not the hotels fault) just saying the elevator is small and a little sketchy, room 210 the continuous fan button doesn’t work on the AC I use that to drowned out noise prob why I kept hearing everything

- Julie (3/5): Extremely dissappiinting;will not stay here again. - Not much. The fireplace in the lobby was nice The corridor to the rooms had a bad order, sort of musty-mildew smell. We were in room 108. The room was run down and dismal. There were paint patches on the walls. The curtains were tattered and ripped. The sink and toilet were oddly short but it had a regular tub so it clearly was not a handicapped accessible unit. The shower had a tiny showhead that only allowed for 3 little streams of water to come out. I could not even wash my hair. I would have just as soon slept i my car. There breakfast was sorely lacking. No cereal, no fruit, no milk or juice.

- Roam14055660433 (2/5): Not a good experience. Feels like a scam - Not pleased with this Hotel at all. I will not be staying here again. They had NO free breakfast or any breakfast for that matter. Their was way to much chlorine in the pool my children complained about the water stinging their lips and eyes. No towels in the pool area. My key card didn't work the first time I tried it then after I did get in my room it stopped working again. It’s been a week and my deposit still hasn’t been refunded I tried to call them 3 times but no answer at the front desk, usually hotels put a hold on your credit card they don’t usually process the deposit which is why I’m getting concerned about the return of my deposit.
- Autumn (2/5): - Terrible experience. Front desk was rude and instead of helping with the problems they decided it was best for me and my husband to check out early. I was supposed to get a refund but instead they kept the money for the night we didn't stay. The room had a big spill in the carpet where our socks got instantly wet with a brown liquid, they do not answer the phone and leave customers waiting in the lobby for extended periods of time. I tried to add another night which is what led to me checking out early. I do not recommend this location at all they owe me like 80 dollars for the night I did not stay. I don't see me getting that back . Very very rude.
- April (4/5): - The location was close to my daughters college. Breakfast sucked, worst breakfast I have had at a hotel. I had to pay a 100.00 fee and now I have to wait to get that money back.
