• Natasha (4/5): - I was mistakenly booked for a smoking room. I didn't know that smoking rooms were still a thing in 2024 so if you're a smoker, great news for you! I am not a smoker and hoped that it wouldn't be a big issue when the receptionist advised me that I was booked for a smoking room. However once I entered the room, I was smacked in the face with the strong smell of years and years of cigarettes. I quickly turned around went back to the front desk and asked if I could be switched to a non-smoking room. The receptionist let me know that they had non-smoking rooms available and there wouldn't be any difference in price (though I would have gladly paid it), but refused to change my reservation due to booking through a third party. I had to contact Expedia who then had to contact the hotel and request that my reservation be changed. Sitting in the lobby listening to the Expedia representative speak to the receptionist at the hotel, I could hear the receptionist being rude for no reason. Finally got switched to a room that did not smell and got settled in. One king bed with two of the smallest flattest pillows. After dinner, I stopped at the front desk to ask if we could get more pillows and they refused. She asked if there were two on the bed and said that that is all you can have, they don't give out extra pillows! Horrible experience. Will not go back.
• Shari (2/5): - We were given a smoking room; we are not smokers. Despite the awesome front desk attendant providing an air purifier, the room stunk. We woke up early coughing. We left as soon as possible.

• Judy (10/5): - This hotel was fabulous. Couldnt ask for better staff. Breakfast was typical breakfast at a hotel,my husband li ed the hot food. Bed was super comfy. I would stay again. It was close to where we were going. The only problem was and it was not the hotel was Expedia changed my room preference feom non smoking to smoking. I am highly allergic to cigarette smoke, would have been in ER, so dont do that ever to anyone. Thank God hotel gave us a different room.

Only thing that would make it better would b for smokers not to sit & smoke right at front door - if one has.breathing issues, makes it difficult to enter when walking thru smoke. Buffet style bkf on wkends, otherwise you receive coupon to Lori's close by
• Marlena (10/5): - This was a perfect hotel. Clean, comfortable and nice. Great hot breakfast with eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, fruit, yogurt, juices and coffee. This is the best deal out there.

The pool was closed, too, and it was overall a terrible experience. We decided to book it and continue our drive while given zero refunds for a disgusting stay

Breakfast was one of the best spreads I have ever seen. I don't normally write reviews, especially not for hotels, but this place was top notch.
• 25janetz (10/5): Coming to Best Western/Caldwell Inn for couple of years. I'll be back! - Granddaughter and I, this is our favorite hotel in this area. Great heated swimming pool. Clean, smell fresh, friendly clerks waiting for your arrival. Great breakfast, coffee all day and night. Tables and cooking grill out back view. See you in August again!

• Sharie (8/5): - Nice hotel, clean, staff is nice but often away from desk, sometime give voucher to eat breakfast at restaurant next door 👍 AC struggles to keep cool in hot weather and often haven’t been able to check in till 230 or after. Nothing of interest close to hotel but a good location if you are going to The Wilds.
• Barbara (6/5): - I know that special requests are not guaranteed but I requested a possible early check in and extra pillows. When I inquired I was rather abruptly informed that there a 4 pillows on the beds and due to a staff shortage no early admission was possible. It was also highlighted on my reservation so when I check in the other girl already knew. The pillows were not full pillows but rather a 1/2 pillow and very insufficient for a king size bed. Other clients at breakfast also discussed the inability to get certain things that they requested It is sad because I did feel that the hotel was nice, and everything was fine except the fact it was short staffed. Thank you.
• Verified traveler (10/5): WONDERFUL STAY - Very clean! We very much enjoyed our three-day stay at this location. Rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable, the front desk staff were very friendly, and the pool was a perfect temperature. I would stay here again 100 percent.

• Nathan (4/5): - The (king) bed was possibly the most uncomfortable bed I've ever laid in. I barely slept and was moving around all night trying to get comfortable since it was comparable to laying on a slab of concrete. Our room was supposed to be smoke free, but smelled badly of cigarettes. There were four small pillows for a queen or smaller bed that were also not good. My pregnant wife asked for additional pillows and was told that they will not provide any. There was one very thin blanket and a few sheets on the bed and no comforter or additional blankets in the room (they did provide one additional blanket on request). The overall staff friendliness and experience was decent, but the overall I would highly recommend going elsewhere. We have stayed nearby before and there are much better hotels nearby. We were very disappointed and Expedia's rating were not accurate for this hotel. It was not even close the the 4.6 stars it had when we booked it.

• Terry (10/5): - This hotel was very quiet and comfortable. Very clean. Was a close walk to restaurants and convenient stores and located just off of the interstate. Will definitely stay here again.
• Jacqueline (6/5): - After waiting for 15 minutes to get a room key, when we got to the room, it was occupied, we had to go back and wait again to get room keys. We went for the breakfast at 8:45 am and there wasn’t hardly anything left. No sausage, no bacon, only one spoon of eggs, no muffins, no bagels. There were waffles but no syrup. I guess the moral of the story is to go for breakfast at 7:30.

Breakfast on weekends is in the hotel, while at other times, the restaurant next door which owns the motel. There, too, staff is just as great and friendly. We will be back!

They have a policy with the towels, so in order to get another one you have to exchange them. No one comes to your room to freshen it up, but was fine for my stay. Staff were friendly and there were plenty of food options right next door.

• gids2023 (2/5): Rude Personal Front Desk - Stopped in to get a room, front manager Broom Hilda informed me all she had was handicap rooms and was not very friendly. She then ask for ID rudely, then says she has 2 king rooms smoking or non smoking, I said non, she then ask if I have pets which I said yes and informed her they would stay in truck.....She lectures me there will be a $200 fine is they're in room, I repeated I just told you they will be staying in truck and she exploded dropping F Bomb slammed my ID on counter, told me to get out of her hotel that she was calling police ....LOL......This gal needs some anger management counseling. After reading other reviews this seems to be normal operating procedure for this BW... No wonder their parking lot was near empty as other accommodations were full....The owners of this place are really hard up for help !

• kathy1252023 (10/5): Best Western Caldwell Inn - We stayed overnight because it is close to The Wilds. Everyone was great from the front desk to the cleaning staff. The pool was wonderful. Rooms clean and a/c worked great. We will be returning and we also recommend a visit to The Wilds.
• moirac303 (8/5): Overnight stay - Hotel was easy to find and plenty of parking. Theresa on the front desk was exceptional, even providing us with detailed instructions on how to get to the Wilds. The room was clean and good internet service. Unfortunately the diner next door is closed on a Tuesday so a very limited breakfast is served in the lobby. This was not of the standard I expect from a BW hotel.

The hotel is always clean, great personnel running the place and has a connection to a restaurant called Lori’s that you can walk to. We’ve stayed there numerous times when we travel north from Florida and have never been disappointed!

• misunderstood43055 (8/5): Average - a few little bumps in the road, but the staff was very friendly. I believe they were willing to help, however they were unable to, whether that be due from lack of experience or training I am unsure of. I do not believe the air conditioning was working in proper order as it was on 60 degrees and I was still sweating. This establishment is very aware of their towel count (which was not a problem for me), be very cautious of this as they will review your room prior to returning any deposit made. I would even suggest counting the towels when you get there, I felt as if I was being accused of something during the checkout process.

The breakfast we had was only for one day and clearly the website said we qould have a continental breakfast both days we stayed. Plus there was Marijuana smell in the hallway on our floor. Plus the place wasnt modernized. Flet like i was staying in an old hotel in the 90s.
• raykO8743QM (10/5): GREAT SERVICE - The staff was very accommodating, pleasant, and courteous. The rooms were very clean, one of the cleanest BW we've stayed at. Several restaurants in the area, and we enjoyed "Wings ETC". Our room was spotless, the TV selection was good, free WiFi, the only problem was they can you a voucher for breakfast at a local restaurant that stopped serving breakfast at 9 am which I thought was just too early, as a general rule most hotels that serve breakfast stop at 10 am.

Free breakfast at diner next door. Superbly trained front desk staff. Experience is like staying in a new hotel. Highly recommended. Hope to return soon.

• donaldr658 (10/5): Great Stay in Caldwell - We travel from NC to MI every summer and always stay at this Hotel. Located close to the Interstate but you can't any traffic noise. The rooms are always clean, the beds are very comfortable and the breakfast at Lori's is outstanding.
• twarren490 (10/5): Great stay - We stayed one night with plans to visit a local attraction. The room was clean with mini fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron microwave and TV with HBO. Everything worked (did not try iron or dryer.) The pool was warm. Plenty of ice. A voucher was provided for free breakfast at the family restaurant next door which was also very nice. Everyone was friendly and the price was right.
• Onomatoleah (10/5): Met our needs - This hotel met the need for our one night stay in Caldwell. Location was convenient, the indoor pool was nice, and the breakfast was good. It wasn't dirty and the staff was friendly. We will stay here again the next time we are in the area.

Very wonderful stay very wonderful, Staff!!!!!! we got to eat at the close diner, which was very nice, but last time we ate at a hotel, and it was very very nice also.

Would not recommend staying at this location. She was rude during check-in charging me an additional $25 for my fiancé for a room that had 2 queen size beds.

• markandpatti (10/5): Super friendly and clean Best Western - We have stayed in so-so places many times. So, it was a very pleasant surprise to discover how clean Caldwell's Best Western is. And, on top of that, each staff member was so friendly and encouraging. No one appeared hurried, or bored, or grudging about their work. Really they all seemed like they were caring for and welcoming us to their own place. Breakfast? Freshly cooked at the restaurant next door!!
• J2677MYteresab (10/5): TeresaB-Ky - After about 5 hours of driving from Kentucky and a stop in Columbus, we were ready to relax. The lady staff member was kind and courteous. She took the time to explain everything to us about the hotel and breakfast in the morning at the nearby Lori's Restaurant. Our room was on the first floor, near the ice and vending machines as requested. The pool was also nearby. The pool area was nicely heated so it felt wonderful when getting out of the pool. The water was a comfortable temperature and plenty of seating for about 16 people, clean showers and restrooms in the area. Rooms very clean and smelled fresh.
• Tara (10/5): - Very comfortable mattress and pillows. Clean room. Lori’s restaurant next door has good home cooked meals, after driving all day it was nice to not have to drive to find a restaurant. The key card was our only issue. Had a hard time entering the side door.

The pool felt even warmer than last time! Becky was there to greet us when we walked in! The hot breakfast was yummy, the room was spotless! Housekeeping was accomodating! We can't wait to go back!
• Clyde (4/5): Freezing Room - My room was fine except it was cold due to the bathroom exhaust never shuts off... Didn't matter if I kept the door shut the heat was sucked out of the room anyway I kept the heat thermostat setting 76⁰ & it was still cold, the bed, sheets, pillows & thin blanket You'd think that these vents would shut off with the bathroom lights... Waste hotel $ with vent constantly running & heater running at a setting of 76⁰ equals allot of $ being spent needlessly Highly unlikely I'd return during cold months to be honest
• CHRISTINE (10/5): - General Manager Karen was welcoming and efficient. The breakfast was great, with lots of choices. The pool is fabulous!!
• Chris (10/5): Will definitely stay again! - Believe all these good reviews! We like to take long weekends away and look for something JUST LIKE what we found in this hotel! The hot breakfast they serve on the weekends was soo sooo good. We haven't had one that good since before COVID! Scrambled eggs, bacon, fried potatoes. I wish i was there now. The yummy waffles have BW in the middle of them!! Weekdays they give coupons for the restaurant next door! It was great and there were many other places that are walking distance! The room was clean with a nice size fridge. Housekeeping was friendly and so were the people at the check in. The pool was not too cold. It took a minute to get used to. The pool area was nice. The kitty cats out back actually have someone looking out for them. We met the kind lady who brings them food and checks on them daily. They were fun to have around! I loved the orange and gray one!! They loved being petted! We saw more cats on the Marietta bike trail we rode on!! This was the perfect spot to stay and head to Marietta for the day. I've already suggested it to friends who love Marietta. This was just an all around nice hotel and we had a nice memorable weekend!
