The mattresses were also comfortable, which made for a restful night’s sleep. I especially appreciated the friendly staff. The check-in process was smooth and quick. Overall, it felt like a great value for the price, and I would definitely consider staying here again on future trips.

They were at-the-ready for anything I needed during my stay, and very sympathetic as to my reason for this trip. I have been at this hotel and always had a very good stay. However, this time just sealed the deal, so I will definitely go back here.

• lorigA5523XJ (4/5): $60 hotel charging $130 - The front desk staff was amazing! The room was not. The hallway carpet had not been vacuumed in quite sometime. The toilet paper roll holder was missing. When we arrived the toilet paper was sitting on the counter. The dresser drawer would open whenever you walked by. The most disturbing issue was the live bug on the nightstand. The complimentary breakfast looked good, however, i was not able to experience it due to a guest bringing their 60lb dog into the breakfast area. I m highly allergic to pet dander. Definitely would not recommend this establishment. Paid $130 a night....felt like a $60 hotel. Did NOT get what we paid for.

• kathryn paige (9/5): I will return - My dog was welcome. She barked some the first night and I asked to be moved to the top floor at the end of the hallway when we returned and this worked well and the staff was very accommodating It is noticeable that the hallway carpet needs cleaned

• Pamela (4/5): Save your money. Stay elsewhere - Definitely not worth the money. The rooms are in great need of remodeling. Even though they recently put vinyl laminate flooring down the shower, stool and windows show aging. There was wallpaper lifting off the wall underneath window from apparent leak and what looks like mold. Photo attached. Mattress had a definite bow to it and sheets were very old and extremely thin. Not worth the money. Stay elsewhere.

• davekX5154MU (2/5): - Do not allow them to put you in room 222. On the second level, the room has french doors that overlook the indoor pool. There is no door seal so the room smells like pool chemicals. Worst of all, the doors and wall around the door is full of mold. The wallpaper was coming up, and you could see mold all over the wall. Shame on you Best Western for not addressing this. As soon as we got in the room and saw this, we asked for another room. They were booked up solid so we cancelled the reservation and left. We will never stay at this hotel again. Beware!!

Some of the individuals who were staying there were taking all of the food off of the trays for themselves. i know this isn’t personally a staff issue but. The coffee was out, no towels or anything for swimming, the food was cold, and a constant flow of running around children.

• benjaminmR9824AV (8/5): Convenient, nice hotel - Overall, this is a decent property located in a convenient, safe location not too far from downtown Peru, IN as well as being right along US 31. Generally speaking, this property is clean and sanitary, has friendly staff, and has good amenities such as a decent breakfast, a nice fitness room, and a clean pool. There is no real issue with noise at this property whether from US Highway or other guests, and one can get a good night's sleep here. All the things one would expect at a hotel one would find here be it a microwave, refrigerator, and a decent sized washroom. The property is kept up as a whole, and there is really nothing of real concern staying here. For those attending the Peru, IN Circus this location is ideal since it is only ten minutes by driving at most from the venue on Broadway Street. It is pretty fun to see the circus theme all over this hotel celebrating Peru, IN's link to the circus industry. This hotel is roughly five minutes by driving from the many resources along Peru's commercial strip be it the Kroger grocery store, fast food and restaurant options, and the local Ace Hardware. Also, the former Grissom Air Force Base's Museum is pretty close to this hotel as well making it a great option for those who may want to both see the Peru Amateur Circus and that museum on the same day. In general, this hotel is a good halfway point between South Bend and Indianapolis, and it can be an option for those who may not want to drive the additional forty minutes further south to Kokomo, IN. While this hotel is a bit on the higher end of pricing it does provide an alternative to Kokomo and Logansport while being right along US 31 for those going north or south.

AND NO BACON! lol. The hotel just needs a little upgrading. But all in all we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to other travelers.

I am normally in the hotel during the week and occasionally on weekends. It is always a great stay with a great breakfast and coffee available in the dining area. Front Desk Manager Coty Black always ensures the rooms are top notch and my reservation is made and a room available. Thank you to her and the whole staff for the ease of staying near where I need to be for work !

Two of the three lights in the bathroom, flickered intermittently, and air conditioning while functional pushed out cool humid air and the entire room smelled.

• Susanna (10/5): Reliable, Clean and Quiet - I was in town to visit family and wanted to stay close by to maximize my time in town. The Best Western was perfectly located, quiet and clean. The continental breakfast was well stocked and tasty. I will be back!
• Kayla (7/5): Good - Location was great. It was within 6 minutes of everything we needed (church, restaurants, groceries, etc.) We enjoyed the indoor pool and breakfast each morning. The rooms REALLY need a deep cleaning. I do believe they were surface level clean. Examples: clean sheets, toilets, etc. However, when you took a moment to look at things closed it was not. There were booger looking swipes on the wall by the bed, dust and residue build up in different places. It needs good deep cleaning. It would have been more enjoyable.

The breakfast had several choices and the food was hot. There was also a hostess who was attentive and always cleaning which made it a pleasant place to have breakfast.
