Guest Reviews
- Marchand (9/5): -
- Stuart (10/5): Brilliant slide, perfect for a nights stay! - Brilliant slide! Breakfast heavily discounted for members and not even offered to non-members
- Brad (10/5): Epic - Exceptional service from the time we arrived to departure the staff were very friendly and helpful
- Barbara (8/5): The front staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and quiet. - Location
- Tina (10/5): Excellent spot to stop along the way. - Great location and very clean! The Manager was extremely helpful and the staff couldn’t do enough to,make our stay a super one.
- Katrina (10/5): -
- John (9/5): -
- Wendy (8/5): All was good except dinners we had at restaurant. - Location great for us and breakfast good. We feel both dinners we had at your location were sub-par.
- Norman (10/5): -
- Lorna (8/5): Great location en route for a one night stopover. - Location was excellent and the woods, marsh walks just behind the hotel were a very nice additional surprise. Room was clean and tidy and check in and out nice and quick.
- Melissa (7/5): -
- Rickey (8/5): Clean, comfortable, pet-friendly, close to nature trail - The room was clean and comfortable, and Best Western is pet-friendly, which is important for us. The location on the edge of town near the wetlands trail is great! The option of pre-paying for the breakfast along with the room was more economical than ordering a la carte, and the breakfast was very good. I was quite surprised to see a robot server! After a tiring day I chose to take a bath rather than a shower and I found that the design of the bathtub , with no edge on the wall side, made it very difficult to get in and out of the tub. The safety bar is set at a height that works for a shower but not a bath - the tub really needs a lower bar that would allow a person taking a bath to get better leverage for getting in/out.
- Randy (10/5): Fair value - Location and dog friendly
- Rod (9/5): -
- Terena (8/5): This is the third time I’ve stayed here on roadtrips and it is reliably good. - Great service, setting, amenities, buffet breakfast, lobby coffee machine, comfortable bed & location—highway accessibility. Tissues and toilet paper are thin & abrasive.
- Denzil (10/5): Excelllent - Excellent accommodation, location, food and breakfast included. Loved the workout area as well It did not have kettlebells to work out with but not a big deal at all
- Gary (8/5): -
- Trevor (9/5): -
- Rosie (10/5): - Excellent breakfast. Very comfortable bed. I want that mattress for home. Very good soundproofing. Did not hear the CNR work trucks leaving the following morning.
- Douglas (10/5): -
- colleen (7/5): The hotel itself was good. - Rooms were good, they were clean, liked the 3 beds in each room. Pool was nice for the kids. The restaurant hostess/server was very rude. We had a toddler with us and had to wait for our room to be ready. She kicked us out of the area, it was open area, no doors or walls from the lobby area, she said “ this area is for paying guests”. As the restaurant was not open yet we didn’t have a chance to order. We moved to a small couch in the lobby. She was rude and lost the business for 8 of us. We ended up going out to a restaurant for dinner, after driving for over 8 hours putting the children back into the car to go eat.

- leepatjas (10/5): Highly recommend! ! - The best western in Valemount checks all the boxes. From the excellent staff to the cleanliness of the hotel. The rooms are clean and updated. The pool is great.
- Harry (10/5): -
- Roberta (8/5): It was a clean and staff friendly place to stay - Breakfast was good
Just found it very noisy in hallway outside our room when trying to go to sleep I wish the booking .com rooms were not always at the end of the hall
- Bruce (10/5): -
- janet (10/5): -
- Peter (10/5): -
- Rachelle (9/5): Excellent Stay for Sledders!! - The Best Western was accommodating to our needs and exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was only available until 9:30am. There was not a whole lot available for people with Celiac and we couldnt collect Best Western points as we booked with booking.com.
- Y8016YRjessical (10/5): Calm rewind fun - Hotle was a beautiful modern log style, that I totally admire. There is Balcony rooms on the second floor.
We had a family weekend. The kids enjoyed the pool and slide. It had towels for after the pool. The room was clean and comfy. We packed alot but it was easy to get around with the elevator, or the second floor stair case in the lobby that has the warms and comfort of the real wood burning fireplace. The breakfast was delicious and variety. I enjoyed the mountain snow cap scenery while having coffee ☕️ my children enjoyed the computers up stairs as well. It was fun and relaxing at once.
A decent place to stay if your traveling through riding, biking or a weekend in the small charming town of Valmont. B.C
- Charles (4/5): Better than sleeping in your car - barely. - Location Six ft of water soaked carpet from faulty AC unit. Misty/moody smell. No solution offered. Wet-vac, towels, anything would have been great.
- George (5/5): Overcharged stay - Nice Place friendly staff I was overcharged. Not to happy about that.
- William John (8/5): Very comfortable clean and quiet - Every was great Enjoyed our stay and would come again. Thee trance to the hotel parking lot is poorly lit We came back to the hotel one evening after dark in the pouring rain I found the location of the entry difficult to find. The hotel is visible but navigating the turn in the dark was a challenge

- Dave (8/5): -
- Marie-France (3/5): Décue - Que trip advisor recommande cet hotel quand on regarde hébergement Jasper.....Trop loin. Incapable de rejoindre Booking.com......
- Allen W. (10/5): Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, will return. - We arrived early and manager arranged an early checkin. Great job, will return. Comfortable room, great breakfast.
- Dione (10/5): -
- Levi (3/5): -
- mike (10/5): Stayed while snowmobiling great setup - Triple rooms, modern, hot tub, restaurant on site Not much trailer parking
- Dara9 (8/5): - Nice rooms and pool and free EV charging in parking lot You need a car
- Amanda (7/5): -
- Daniel (10/5): Room was great, breakfast and dinner in the restaurant was soo good! Pool was a lot of fun! We loved it! - It was cute and comfortable
- Elizabeth (9/5): Lovely amenities, beautiful setting - Beautiful setting adjacent to a lovely hiking trail N/A
- Randy (10/5): - Very nice facility with log structure finishing. Spacious room, well equipped
Friendly helpful staff
- Heather (10/5): We love the Valemount Best Western. Been staying there for over 20 years! - The property is clean and convenient. My dog was also very welcome! Nothing.
- Granholm (10/5): - Nice rooms easy accomodation for travelling with the dog. Everything convenient. Restaursnt open and free breakfast. Nothing evrrything was thought out for convenience even your coffee for the road.
- Stephanie (7/5): -
- Ceirrin (10/5): Would stay here again - Super comfortable No microwave
- Christopher (8/5): Good place to stay when stopping over in Valemount. - Exactly what I expected, a clean and quiet place to stay.
- Ian (10/5): - Rooms need better darkening shades.
- Steven (6/5): - Nice area in a small village. Breakfast for a fee on site. Pool is warm and hot tub was nice.
- Debbie (10/5): My husband and I would stay again. - Located close to the Yellowhead highway (you can see their sign from the road) in Valemont, BC, Canada. Best Westerns are known for their quality throughout Canada, in other words you know what you are getting before you walk through the door. The staff are friendly and are willing to help out at any time.
If you are travelling with a pet there are walking trails around the property that are easily accessible. There is a pool, and other amenities if you are staying long term.
On chilly evenings you can hang out with a book by the warm fireplace located just off the lobby. The interior courtyard grounds are beautiful. There is a restaurant attached to the property.
- Michael (10/5): - Always stay here on way to Alberta.
- Matthias Stangier (9/5): -
- Mirit (9/5): -
- cynthia (10/5): - Hotel was nice very quiet. After long day driving it was nice to have a restaurant in the hotel. No need to go out.
- Carsten (9/5): -
- Pam (10/5): I would absolutely stay there again - Lovely hotel excellent staff really nice room Nothing
- Chris (10/5): - Valemount was a brief overnight stop, but this hotel was excellent. Bright, comfortable, classy and with an excellent onsight restaurant. Just what we needed.
- Juan Granda (7/5): -
- susanschmitt28 (10/5): Family fun! - The BW in Valemount was perfect for our family of 22. It was clean and spacious for 22 adults to meet and spread out for dinner, games and football watching. The staff was amazing and breakfast was delicious! Homemade blueberry muffins!!!! Wow!! Thanks for everything.
- Jim (2/5): - Had a terrible meal and complained to both restaurant and front desk, nothing done by either. Last time I will stay at Best Western.
- Mark (8/5): Good to access Mt Robson - Good location to access Mount Robson. Friendly staff. Good hot breakfast. Nothing - it was all fine.
- Pam (8/5): -
- arie (4/5): -
- Marcel (10/5): - quiet and in the middle of no where (Valemount) Has a good restaurant and breakfast deal
- Stan (6/5): - We were in a non-smoking room and had a strong smell of someone vaping in a nearby room late at night.
- SZUYIN (9/5): -
- Diane (10/5): - Nice place
- Tarek (8/5): - Clean and friendly staff
- Charles (8/5): - Overall good
- Alan (10/5): - Great staff, hotel and breakfast
- Corinne (10/5): - We loved the beautiful common area overlooking the grounds. A great perk was the coffee machine with unlimited coffee, caps, hot chocolate etc. My husband loved it.
- Colin (6/5): - We were unhappy with the ground floor room we had been offered because of smell and overall dinginess, but were told no other room was available. We know this was not true as the website says rooms are available for tonight two hours after we had checked in.
- Kim (6/5): - The room was good but over priced. The restaurant was expensive for medium quality food
- 291eileenc (4/5): Dingy and smelly - When we arrived and entered our allocated room, we noted an unpleasant smell. We phoned reception to ask if there was another room, but all they offered was a spray. We knew there were other rooms available as we had checked on the website. The room was very dingy as well as smelly and we felt quite uncomfortable. We also noted that there are 'pet friendly' rooms and feel that this one had probably not been properly aired and freshened after an animal had occupied it.
- CHICKENPARM41 (10/5): Very Nice Stay in Valemount - Jaime checked us in and gave us a nice room on the second floor. The piped in music, in the hallways, added a lot of class.
The hotel is located right at the town limits. There is a restaurant on the premises and that's where we had our breakfast. There is a walking trail-loop on the property and an indoor pool with a spa. The pool had a huge water slide.
We had a nice quiet night of sleep. There are soap dispensers in the shower and the water was nice and hot.
Breakfast buffet was okay. You had your standard eggs, waffle maker and oatmeal.
We would definetly stay here again. Thank you!
- David (8/5): - N/a
- Jennie (10/5): - Rooms cleans and beds comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful.
- Ashley (9/5): Great value hotel with good restaurant and pool. - Clean and tidy hotel with a good pool and restaurant. Nothing
- Dean (10/5): - Customer service
- Micha (7/5): -
- שרית (8/5): - מקום יפה , מיטות נוחות מאוד לא פינו את פחי האשפה בחדר וממש הפריע לי.
במסעדת המלון יש להקפיד לבקש שהאוכל לא יהיה חריף 🌶️
- Sheena (10/5): - Friendly staff, clean facilities. Used the pool and the gym! Overall great place
- Daniel (10/5): -
- Dean (8/5): -
- hisako (10/5): - It was a great stay there. Having a plenty of space, very comfortable bed, kitchenette, Keurig coffee, smart TV were all great things!
It’s worth the price for the stay.
Only thing I wasn’t happy was the restaurant within, I ordered dinner online and it’s supposed to be ready around 30 mins which was stated on website but I haven’t received any messages almost 45 mins. So I just walked to the restaurant and talked to the host. She said it’ll be ready soon, but I ended up waiting for extra 15 mins at the front of restaurant.
- Weis (9/5): -
- Yana (6/5): - Nice backyard to walk with the baby. “No idling” signs very good. Reception staff wasn’t always accommodating.
- El Mostafa (9/5): -
- Roos (7/5): -
- Victor (9/5): Bien dormi et le déjeuner excellent - J’ai tellement dormi dans un excellent lit Je n’ai pas eu le temps vu que c’est pour juste un arrêt pour dormir
- Joe (7/5): Nice hotel, good location - eat breakfast elsewhere! - The hotel is in a lovely setting - gardens and picnic area out back
Restaurant and bar on site
Check in desk - gentleman that checked us in was excellent The coffee maker in our room had not been cleaned (old pod in the container) Only 2 pods of coffee in the room and both were decaf
On check in you receive a voucher for 50% off breakfast, but the buffet was very limited - food seemed leftover (eggs dry, potatoes hard) and at 50% off we paid $25 for 2 people for breakfast. Have had better breakfast buffets offered free of charge at other hotels.
