Guest Reviews
- Andrew (8/5): It was sufficient but could have been better. - The free breakfast was very good and the staff was very friendly. Floor was a little bit dirty. Sink sprayed water out of the sink if you turned it on high. Box spring cover was dirty.
- Willie (7/5): - Great location
- Michael (10/5): - Being able to park right at the door to my room. Na

- arnaud76 (8/5): - Chambre propre.
Personnel souriant et accueillant (accueil et petit déjeuner)
Très bon petit déjeuner assez varié.
Bouteille d'eau à disposition. Notre chambre était en face de l'escalier et trop près de la route et c'était trop bruyant..

- Kyleian (8/5): For the hours I stayed, it was good and relaxing. - The room was very clean and comfortable overall. There were only a couple of minor issues, and they were resolved quickly.
In the shower, the hot and cold sides were reversed—I initially ended up taking a cold-ish shower before realizing the issue. The bathroom sink was nice, but the water pressure was too strong for such a small sink. If turned on too much, it would splash water everywhere.
Other than those minor concerns, I didn’t experience any additional issues. The breakfast area was very busy for such a small space. I ended up sharing a table with people I didn’t know—they were friendly, but it would have been nicer to have a bit more room to sit and relax without feeling crowded.
The breakfast itself was good overall. However, if you arrived in the last 30 minutes, the selection was pretty limited and mostly picked over. Still, what was available tasted good.

- Physician2024 (10/5): II HAD CAR TROUBLE MY 2018 TESLA MODEL 3 HAD TIRE BLOWOUTS ON I-40 WEST INTERSTATE. - I STAYED AT THIS PROPERTY TO BIRNG MY WIFE AND SON HOME AFTER TAKING VACATION FOR 7 DYAS. I DROVE UP TO JOPLIN FROM BIRMINGHAM ALABAMA. THE ENTIRE TRIP WAS AWESOME WITH THE STAY AT BEST WESTERN HOTEL AT OASIS FOR TWO NIGHTS.
- Able (7/5): -
- Tabitha (1/5): It was awful. Won’t stay there again - Location It smelled like smoke horribly.
- Audrey (6/5): - Staff was very good and friendly. Actually got me a room on ground floor so I didn't have to walk up steps.
The room was clean and smelled nice. Phone in room didn't work. No plug for bathtub. Extension cords to plug things in by bed. Lamp by bed the bulb burned out
- Zico (7/5): -
- Hawkins (5/5): - Compared to the Best Western in Downers Grove, this one was older and more worn. Thankfully it looked like the bathroom and sink area had been done more recently.
- James (5/5): - Best feature of stay great Queen beds were small, thought they were fulls rather than queen
- David (6/5): -
- Matthew (9/5): One of the best stays so far. - Very comfortable bed, ample space in the room. Excellent airconditioning I think the waffle maker needs replacement. It was worn. The server had to tell everyone how to operate it. Perhaps a visual aid would be better.
- Jessica (7/5): This was a nice place to stay with my family while we were visiting Missouri. - Staff was nice and friendly. Breakfast was great the people treated my family very kindly. The beds were not that comfortable and the bathroom wasn't as clean as it could be but it wasn't very bad. Just thought it could have used a litle more attention. The beds weren't horrible either it just felt like we could feel the bedrame beneath the mattress.
- pam and bob (3/5): Bob and and I had to squeeze around each other in the room. - The breakfast was fine. The location was very convenient. It was the smallest room I have ever seen in a hotel since the 1970s. it was clean. The personnel were friendly. But we should not have paid $150 for that room. It was only worth maybe $99. It was so small we will never go back. It was way overpriced.
- Brenda (9/5): - Clean NA

- Adam (1/5): WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER HAD BY FAR!! - Nothing The toilet was broken in our room after we went down and told the office they tried to hand us a plunger saying that’s that was the best they could do. After telling them we’re not going to plunge a toilet we haven’t even used yet. The girl at the counter called her manager, who then gave us a second room. The second room was on the third floor right next to powerlines you could reach out and touch them. When walking inside you were just hit with a smell of cigarettes and mildew. The carpet was wet to the touch. There was a giant mud stain right by the door. The bed had hair in it and the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. When we went down to talk to the office for a second time, we explained to them that we would like to check out because the room was so dirty. They proceeded to tell us that they could not give us a refund because we booked through a third-party, to get our refund the hotel has to talk to the third-party. They have called them twice and the hotel has not answered nor return calls so we are still trying to get our refund. I ended up having to book another hotel so this was very expensive for us.
- Nathan (1/5): Absolutely terrible - Our rooms were filled with bugs, mainly ants. They were in the sink, shower, floor, in our bed. There is also a slew of building code violations (rotted doors, Water damage, multiple holes in the walls etc. I called to notify the manager who still has not given me an answer about how they will make it right. I will be calling the Joplin code enforcement and notifying them of the terrible building and service you have provided.
- James (1/5): - Nothing Pool closed and toilet kept blocking up
- Meghan (8/5): -
- Dominic (10/5): - Was very nice hotel
- Howard (10/5): -
- Bobbi (10/5): -
- jose (10/5): - Customer service was superb.
- Lebakken (7/5): We would stay here again if travelling that way. - Breakfast was satisfactory. Room was decent, clean and comfortable. Right off of Interstate which is what we were looking for. Night front desk staff was not overly friendly, initially. Was pleasant enough, but not overly helpful.
- Brendan (7/5): Super friendly, helpful staff in a quiet location with a very solid breakfast! Thanks! -
- Valeriia (10/5): -
- Karen (8/5): BW/Jopling - Very quiet. Clean room
Comfortable bed. Shower head was too high & not adjustable. Therefore the bathroom floor got wet.
- Kyle (8/5): Great staff beds are not good. - Staff was excellent, breakfast was very good. Rooms were small but updated The bed was not good, uncomfortable and the boxspring under the bed was metal that made a spring like noise ever time you moved.
- Tana (7/5): - I like that is right off the highway . I also like their was a store within walking distance.
- Vouers (9/5): -
- Noah (2/5): -
- Joyce (5/5): Dont stay at Joplin Best Western. - Didn't eat breakfast but it looked decent. Parking outside of room. The room was extremely, very small. The bed creaked. There was no closet just a small wall rack to hang clothes on. The curtains looked horrible and didnt close properly. The pillows were tiny. Price was way too high for the room size. Someone parked outside the room and was yelling and cursing late at night.
- Jesse (10/5): - Comfy and peaceful. Was happy
- adam (7/5): -
- Jorge (10/5): - La ubicación Le faltó pan dulce y no me gustó que la cama estuviera cerca de la venta.
- Shawna (10/5): -
- Crystal (10/5): Private, clean, and comfortable! - Clean- no roaches!!! Ni dislikes.
- Mary (10/5): - Clean room. Great breakfast. Easy to walk to at least 5 or more eating places
- Danielle (10/5): - Staff was super friendly and welcoming. Would stay again.
- Linda (10/5): - The breakfast made by Wendy was the best I ever had at a hotel.
- Gerry (8/5): - Very difficult to find. No senior discount because I made reservation thru 3rd party
- McNamara (7/5): - Location There was no coffee in the breakfast.
Bad, travelling to California. Had to go to gas station next door and pay.
- Jola (10/5): - Everything was great!
- Claudia (7/5): - The room was very clean in the beds were comfortable. There was a very hearty breakfast available. A couple of things that were a problem is that the hair dryer did not get hot and the plugins were too loose to keep the charger cords charging my devices
- Jayne (10/5): - Comfy bed. Very clean. Good breakfast.
- Carolyn (8/5): - Wish I had a second floor with a bathtub after a long day of travel but it was fine and the staff was great!
- Ariel (6/5): - the power went out in our room
- Jennye (10/5): - Wendy who was the breakfast person was phenomenal ; she should get a raise
- Richard (10/5): - Super helpful front desk
- Janet (6/5): - Pool was green. There wasn’t a comforter on the bed Second night I went and bought a blanket. Couldn’t get the shower to come on.
- Ellen (8/5): - Room was spotless, staff was so helpful and polite. Parking was ample. Pool was nasty green.
- Melissa (6/5): Worked for us but could use a deep clean - Clean & comfortable beds, awesome breakfast from Wendy! Pool was closed, smelled like cigarettes right outside our door all the time. Bad parking if you have a room on the opposite side. Sink splashed water everywhere when you’d use it. And the floors really haven’t been deep cleaned in awhile.
- Judith (10/5): - Room was ok for one night
Didn't like that there was no elevator and had to carry my suitcase up a flight of stairs. I'm no spring chicken.
- william (4/5): - The room we were given had not water in the tub. I did not work. when we tried to call the front desk our phone did not work so had to walk to the office to let them know what was taking place. The person at the office was very nice and helpful. We ended up being given a different room but to be honest this was definitely not worth the money we spend. I thought better of Best Western which is why we chose it.
- Robert (10/5): - Large clean room with confortable bed and pillows. Well lit parking and easy access to expressway.
- ANN (10/5): - Always good.
- Paul (8/5): A good Joplin stay... - Good location, clean room, comfortable bed.
- Kristina (8/5): Not exactly what I expected. - This hotel was not what I was expecting. The pool outside had leaves in it and looked like the water was green. The room was much smaller than the other Best Western that I stayed at and all the doors were outside. The room itself was clean and the bed was comfortable.
- Scott (6/5): - Cleaning of room not accomplished, a hand written sign was seen the 2nd day there that I did not see or note when checking in that stated that cleaning was only done if notified by 9:00 a.m. Unusual to see this type sign in hotel.
- Alicia (6/5): - Beds were clean and comfortable, bathroom was clean but somewhat old and basic, breakfast area was so small and with very reduced offer. At breakfast time the demand was very high that we did not find a place. We had to eat elsewhere.
- Debra (8/5): - It was an older property, and our shower did not work! Breakfast was better, because the scrambled eggs were fresh
- Brittany (4/5): - Just dont.
- Delfina (10/5): - I
- Betty (8/5): Vacation - Friendly check-in.
Needed a first floor room but none were available so with a bad back and knee, i had to climb a flight of stairs. The room was quite comfortable.
Although, the table leg was broken so it wobbled, the bottm of a chair was broken and hanging down, (didnt affect the seating), the couch had a big tear in the side.
Second morning, we had ants by the sink and bathtub, but upon telling front desk all was taken care of immediately.
- Jonathan (8/5): A good place to stay for the Right price :) - it was close to everything and easy to get to
everyone was friendly from what I saw I thought the rooms where inside
- Tristan (8/5): - Parking was right in front of the lower level rooms making it easy to load and unload.
- alyssa (10/5): - Very friendly staff, good breakfast, just wish there was an elevator to the second floor. My hip and back are bad and carrying everything up the stairs was painful
- Hazlewood (10/5): -
- don (10/5): - have never had any problems staying at this hotel.
- RADHIKA (2/5): - This is the absolute worst place to be in. Unless you are broke broke , please do not stay here. Its a dirty, cheap motel for hotel prices.
- Stephanie (8/5): -
- linda (8/5): Nice but tiny suite - Nice and easily accessible. Good breakfast and excellent staff. The King Suite was tiny, and sofa bed combo was a futon (???) Otherwise quiet and well maintained.
- Susan (10/5): - The pool was fantastic! Breakfast was plentiful and terrific!
- Deborah (2/5): Very Bad Experience…Stay at your own risk! - Check in was a joke. The girl at the check in counter seemed stoned, totally spaced out! No heat in one room, so gave us another room and no heat in that room either. We told her about the issue again and she didn’t even offer another room or blankets. We had to ask for blankets and she provided them reluctantly. Toilets are not secure. Rooms are old and damp. We’ll never stay in another Best Western again!
