Guest Reviews
- Ralph (7/5): Decent enough - Location Little choices for breakfast
- michellezN5518NT (10/5): Group stay made special - This was the only hotel in town to give a group discount for seven rooms. In town for a funeral. Staff was incredible!! So friendly and went out of their way to make everyone comfortable. Rosie and her helpers were so outstanding!!
- Barbara (9/5): -
- angel (6/5): - Friendly staff Got another day charge and 20 extra charge for pet fee, but was reimbursed
- Glen (9/5): -
- Cecil (8/5): Will most likely stay here in a return trip. - The owner is very pleasant. Room clean, bed comfortable. Breakfast was the usual but hot food hot-that’s important
- seirran2025 (10/5): - Very polite! Room was clean and cool! I love the biscuits and gravy! This is our choice hotel when traveling to Parsons! We enjoy it every time.
- 294TammyP (2/5): Best Western should remove their name from this hotel. - We stayed at 12 hotels in 8 different states on this trip, and this was the worst one. I rely heavily on reviews to find our hotel for the night, so I wanted to warn others. The shower was dirty, obvious dirty smudges and debris. The nightstand was sticky. The chair had crushed Doritos in it. I’m not picky. I just expect basic cleanliness. This does not feel like an actual Best Western but a knock off that still charges a BW rate. Two positive points… the front desk fella was super nice, and the onsite laundry worked well and was cheap.
- Jeremy (10/5): - Clean and comfortable beds. Pillows were uncomfortable. Housekeeper was very friendly.
- nancy (10/5): - Great place and wonderful staff
- Rachel (6/5): - The sheets were worn through in spots. The towels were stained. And there was hair in the bathtub/shower.
- Christina (4/5): - It was fine but for the price could of been better .
- KWAME NKANSAH (8/5): - Good and clean
- Sara (8/5): - It was a nice stay. I’m pretty sure we were in a room that allows pets. Definite pet odor. This was likely because we chose to have a room on the first floor when we found out there was no elevator.
- Amy (8/5): - The area was quiet and the hotel was quiet as well. The staff was nice and check in was easy.
- Stephen (10/5): - Very friendly staff. Clean and quiet.
- Montira (10/5): - staff is very nice and friendly. for a hotel in a small town. I was impressed with the hotel condition and upkeep.
- Rebecca (7/5): Good - Breakfast was ok That they put the pool under rooms where kids had to be quiet while sleeping
- draine101 (10/5): excellant stay. - excellent stay very quite so got very good sleep very good breakfast and fast internet. front desk staff very helpful showed restaurants around the town. Rooms are also very clean will recommend this hotel and the price is excellent. The hotel location is very good.
- Christopher (3/5): Would not stay there again. - Someone else had a key to our room and tried to get in. Luckily we had the security lock latched and they was unable to but I think they did a poor job at making sure they have their data correct when handing out keys. Someone could have got hurt easily.
- Shane (8/5): Very good -
- 61rmc (2/5): Don’t Stay - Smelly Mess - Having stayed at more than a few Best Western hotels the Parsons, KS location was so very disappointing. The hotel was in need of a complete deep clean! My room smelled like dog urine, the carpet was awful, the beds sheets barely covered and the towels were worn out and hard. The breakfast was not as other hotels within this chain with missing and old condiments. Added to the need for general maintenance and cleaning attention it seemed the staff was not concerned with the guest but enjoyed visiting with friends in the lobby while a hotel staff dog walked freely throughout the hotel. My suggestion is don’t even think about staying at this location. In addition I would not of been comfortable with the ick of this location with my dog.
- Michele (10/5): - Staff was very friendly, room was clean, bed was very comfortable.
- wendypY8665OY (10/5): excellant stay. - very good hotel rooms are super clean, and it is very quiet place, so we got very good sleep. The breakfast was very good I like sausage, biscuits, gravy and scramble eggs. The front desk staff very helpful they give directions to the restaurants, and we also got the free late check out.
- Lorri (10/5): Exceptional - The quiet location The employee (housekeeper) coming in my room while I was dressing no sign to display do not disturb
- Ponder (7/5): I would stay again - It was very comfortable and clean everyone was very welcoming. The breakfast was amazing, waffles, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, sausage, etc. also the pool stays open till 10pm so that was awesome also It had no elevator
- kristie (10/5): - Enjoyable, Thank you.
- Stephanie (6/5): - The property was quiet. Breakfast was decent. The bed linens were old and worn. We had an issue getting more towels and that was unlike anything I’ve experienced before. I wouldn’t book here again.
- Linda (6/5): - It’s a small town, so our expectations were not very high, but it was still absolutely shocking to find the only way upstairs was UP STAIRS!
- Andelyn (7/5): Good -
- hillaryk613 (2/5): Need new front desk employee - I just tried to call and book a room under a room block and the lady that answered the phone told me she didn’t know how to do that and to call back. Why are you working at a hotel and you don’t know how to book a room?? Then when I asked her for her name she hung up on me. I am floored. Terrible customer service!!!
- Shawn (8/5): - Staff were helpful and the room was nice.
- Goodell (8/5): Pleased with my stay - The staff were very pleasant, the breakfast great, very easy check in and out.
- larrycA8274MF (10/5): Very good stay. - We stayed two days at the hotel while on our trip to Kansas city. We have very good stay the rooms are clean and comfortable our kids also like the swimming pool. the breakfast was also very good we like scrambled eggs , biscuits and gravy was very delicious. the rooms are very clean the staff was also very friendly we ask for more towels and they did give us. We will definitely recommend this hotel the location of the hotel is excellent.
- NicoleS2131 (2/5): Do not stay here - We are in town because my Mother-in-law died Monday and we’re staying through the funeral. When we checked in, I had concerns about the hotel because of the pet bed behind the counter and the visible pet stains on the floor behind the counter. I should’ve listened to my gut. There was an odd, musty smell and matted carpet in the halls. Last night we found two bugs, one running across our pizza. This morning we found a large engorged bedbug on crawling on my mom’s bed. There was also a room down the hall with towels blocking the bottom of the door in the hallway. Probably fumigation. We showed the bedbug to the manager after he told us “we don’t have an issue with those.” Then he was rude to mommy and acted like she didn’t show it to him when we were leaving. Do not recommend.
- Robert (8/5): - Easy access from the Hwy 400. Eating places a short distance away. Great place to stay traveling through.
- Stay49415451723 (10/5): Excellent experience. - The staff were friendly, helpful and very pleasant. Room very clean. Breakfast hot and very good. The Parsons Inn close to many restaurants. Halfway between Branson Springfield Airport to Wichita
- toryarnce (2/5): Lack of professionalism and aggressive manager - I was in town to see family. They came to the room as I was finishing getting ready for dinner. We were going to discuss where to go. The manager came down the hallway and was saying "you need to leave Im calling the police" I stepped out as I had the reservation and he was awful. Yelling about people in my room and I can't have that many people in my room. I tried to explain they were not there to stay just to plan a dinner. He ended up calling the police, showing a video of damage caused by different guests 2 days prior to my visit. This had nothing to do with me or my room but I had the police called on me.
Absolutely would not advise staying unless is gets new management!
- mrsbrojoe (8/5): Clean & Comfortable - Remembered staying here years ago & it was every bit as nice as I recalled. They don't have an elevator so I called to make sure I could get a downstairs room, and Kelly was friendly & helpful on the phone, assuring me they would place me as requested. Room was clean & comfortable w/fridge/micro, free wifi w/ample signal to check weather & routing for the rest of my trip, stream Netflix, etc. Grounds were beautifully manicured into a park-like setting w/gazebo. Slept well, enjoyed in-room coffee. Standard continental available next morning. Would definitely stay here again :-)
- Fred (10/5): Exceptional - Room was very nice and clean. Breakfast was awesome and people were great. Can't say I found anything I didn't like.
- Terry (10/5): Good hotel - Nice quiet clean room
- Brian (8/5): Bring Pillows - Everything about the stay was good except the pillows. they were small and lumpy and made it difficult to get comfortable
- Snapp (8/5): Would stay here again - Great location. It smelled so clean, very impressed with how clean the hotel was. The night staff was so kind and greeted us as we came in late. Shampoo, conditioner and soap were completely empty in the shower.
Morning staff did not look up or greet us as we came in for breakfast - coffee was out in the breakfast room.
- Dutton (7/5): Good -
- mark (10/5): Treys travels - Cleanliness is #1.
Newer furniture. Not run down.
Pleasent room.
Good tv cable.
Price is good
Stay here!
- jessica (6/5): - In 3 minutes it took to check out and go back to room for something maid just made bed and maybe a clean or refilled used towelwithout changing sheets and called it good for next guest- I wonder how many times the sheets I slept on were charged prior to me sleeping in bed if at all.
- Angelena (10/5): - Nice property!
- Denise (10/5): - Everything was great.
- Anna (6/5): Pleasant - It was very close to the swim meet we attended. Bed was comfortable. The room smelled like must. There was paper or something left on the floor from previous people
The breakfast was not good at all.
- cook3900 (6/5): 6/18/23 - Staff friendly but not knowledgably of surrounding area. No elevator in hotel. Animal(s) allowed in breakfast area. Room was clean. Price is ok. Only reason I won't go back to this hotel is because I have fractures in my back and can not navigate the stairs easily. Another possible reason is that a dog was allowed in the breakfast area. Hopefully that doesn't happen often.
- Connie (4/5): - I spoke with Expedia on the phone to change the reservation dates. They sent me an updated itinerary. But when I was ready to check in Best Western notified me they didn't receive any change in dates. Miscommunication somewhere. I WAS able to get a room for the night.
- draine101 (10/5): excellant stay. - place is super clean, very nice breakfast and staff very friendly. Room is super clean.hotel location is excellant. Room was clean and comfortable and the wifi and AC worked well. Check in was quick and friendly and breakfast was good. This will continue to be the place we stay Great hot breakfast to start your day off with. The maid service was very good. Front desk personnel was extremely helpful. And manager was top notch.
- bawoods20 (10/5): Nice Stay - The room was very clean. The service from the maid service was good. The price of the room was reasonable. The internet worked great. The breakfast was hot, fresh, and had a good taste to it. We had fresh coffee when we woke up.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- travelisfun2011 (8/5): Nice place to stop - A very little town but this is a nice place to stay. The staff was really nice. My husband raved about the gravy which we learned was homemade. The room was clean and comfortable. There is no elevator but it’s only a two story building. There were deer behind the building and fireflies
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Nothing special about this hotel. We wee on route home and this was a half way point so we decided to stay overnight. As we checked in, we could hear extremely loud noise from next door property. Room was average, nothing special. What was extremely disappointing was the breakfast. We were the first ones at breakfast and all the hot food was lukewarm. They had cereal but no milk. You would think that being the first ones at breakfast, you would get hot food. If we are ever in the area again, we will bypass this hotel.
- Connie (7/5): Nice - Breakfast. Needs an elevator
- djspugs (10/5): Best Western bliss - We were treated so nice from check in to check out.
They are pet friendly and had a furry friend to pet.
Breakfast had all the usual items, muffins, waffles, scrambled eggs & biscuits and gravy. They also had a yogurt machine to make Parfait with granola, nuts, chocolate chips and more. Fresh fruit and hardboiled eggs. Coffee, milk and juice.
The room was clean and no weird smells. Beds were comfy. The air conditioning was working very well. Wonderful waterfall and gazebo in back. We loved our stay.
- Tracy (8/5): Very good -
- Marie (9/5): pleasant - clean & friendly staff
- Victor (8/5): Very good -
- Jacob (10/5): - Very clean and comfortablr
- Kristi (8/5): Small town hotel - One of three brand name hotels in Parsons. Not a bad place to stay. It’s not as nice as the Holiday Inn but it worked. The front desk was friendly and fast. We left early so didn’t experience breakfast.
- Dennis (10/5): - This motel is an excellent value. Everything about it is top notch. We have stayed here many times over the years and will continue to do so.
- Larry (6/5): - bed was not changed had to call management to change bed linens.
- angelapamelao (10/5): Very good - It was a good stay. The staff was very nice and friendly. Bedroom very clean and well equipped. No noise from the outside. Good breakfast, with a variety of choices. The Dining room was also very clean.
- Denise (10/5): - It was all clean and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic!!!
- Misty (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kimberly (10/5): - It was super clean easy parking and friendly staff.
- Clark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Imredeemed (10/5): Excellent! - Enjoyed the stay here. A little out of my way but found it. Nice clean rooms & a comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean also. Breakfast was the average hotel breakfast food. Things were clean & staff was friendly.
- EddyA660 (2/5): In Parsons to attend my nieces funeral. - I made reservations at this Motel because of the reviews. I needed an accessible room because my wife has mobility issues. When we arrived and checked in we found that the bed was to high for my wife to access. I was told all the beds were the same height and was offered a refund. I left the luggage in the room and went and found another Motel. When I went back to get my luggage I was told I would be charged one night for the use of the room. And I was charged! No consideration was given to my wife's disability and I was charged for a room that I could not stay in. Stay here at your own risk!
- Angela (8/5): Good - 1st impression poor as I was greeted by a dog sniffing and following me thru the lobby. Linens on bed are quite worn and need replaced. Breakfast buffet was wonderful, neat and clean and coffee was amazing. Room was very, very clean.
- Margaret (7/5): Stay was okay, but not sure we would stay again. - Room was quiet and hotel did not have a bunch of loud guests. Had an allergic reaction either to the pillows and/or bed cover. Might have been due to however they were laundered. Woke up several times during the night and felt poorly in the am. Bed was too soft for my spouse's liking.
- Chris (10/5): Long days rest - Nice place to stay. Clean and comfortable. The parking is small and not big enough for a trailer to park if you have one. Close to food and entertainment.
- wandasO8964CD (10/5): Perfect stay - Great check in and rate! BW rewards! Exceptionally comfortable bed and pillows and bedding! AC was working really well!!!
Bowling alley in back was an added plus for a cold beer and conversation!!! Grounds are beautifully kept and clean. Delicious breakfast and welcoming host!
- Ethan (8/5): Very good -
- Charles (10/5): - There are 3 hotels in this sleepy little community and I was very impressed with this one. The rest of the town seems to be shutting down with so many businesses closed but this motel is ready and waiting for you to visit. It is extremely clean and elegant. The pool area is beautiful and breakfast was great. You won't go wrong if you book here.
- Michael (10/5): - Clean, friendly staff quiet atmosphere easy to relax
- rkeel1948 (10/5): Excellent Hotel - The hotel is excellent and very well managed. The staff do an excellent job. The rooms are very, very clean. I have stayed several times and will again when in the area. They have and continue to do an excellent job.
- Christine (6/5): - The pool was nice.
Housekeeping was very friendly, breakfast server was helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the front desk help was rude, very short, we did not feel welcome by them.
- Paul (8/5): - Quiet place on the edge of town, easy in and out, had a pool, workout room, breakfast and my room was perfect.
Good places to eat, everybody I met was friendly.
- v_lerieh2017 (10/5): Satisfactory Stay - This Best Western does not have an elevator but they did ask if help was needed getting luggage to our second floor room. We had a 2 queen bed room and the beds were comfortable. The inside pool was clean and cool, so we enjoyed it for about an hour. Breakfast was standard and we were satisfied with it. We stopped here as we were on our way to Oklahoma and may stay again if we pass by.
- Gail (8/5): - The staff was amazing! They changed us to a ground floor room when they saw my 97 year old grandma. The breakfast was decent. I wish some of it would have been a little fresher but I also caught the tail end of it. The o my other complaint was that it smelled musty when we walked in our room. We could also smell it when walking down the hall in the morning when the room doors were open for cleaning so I know it was more than just our room. Overall it was a good stay!
- Elizabeth (8/5): - It was clean that’s the main thing. We checked in late evening and she was really slow. Our tv didn’t work, but she did come right up and fixed it.
- Glenn (6/5): - Nice for where you are. Just a good place to stay while passing through Kansas.
- Amanda (10/5): - Comfortables beds and clean room
- Max (10/5): - Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and quiet
- Sheridan (6/5): Unexpectedly bad service - I asked where the elevator was he motioned down the hall. (There is no elevator)
I booked a double and ended up in a single that I had to end up sharing with my work mate.
Hotel is dated. Stay at the holiday inn
- Steven (10/5): - Nice place
- Denise (10/5): - Nice and peaceful
- Jacob (10/5): - Neutral
- Hannah (8/5): - Clean room, friendly staff.
- Eric (10/5): - Everything was clean and quiet - great job!
- Sandra (10/5): - Great experience
- Gregory (4/5): - Our pillow in our room was dirty, there was a beetle in our bed and a giant spider on the shower curtain. We were scheduled to stay three nights but one was all I could do. The manager was apologetic and gave us a full refund, but the damage was done at that point. The breakfast was good though and overall the property seemed in pretty good condition. Other reviewers said it was clean so maybe we just got the bad room.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Rooms service no like
- Deborah (8/5): Fine and dandy - Staying overnight before a float trip
- Erin (10/5): - Great service and very comfortable beds.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The hotel was very nice, clean and quiet. Had a relaxing time.
