- michael (9/5): When traveling in the area again, we would try to get a room. - It was quite, clean and on point.It was a quick stop so can't say a lot. We got the rest we needed. I drink coffee strong but the light blend almost curled my toes. May want to cut back.
- Bill (4/5): An overpriced disappointment. - The hotel staff were very nice and friendly. This location was below standard compared to other Hampton Inns we have enjoyed. The bed was creaky and hard in places-it needs to be replaced. The "king room with sofa bed" did NOT have a sofa bed-just an open corner space. The floor could have been vacuumed more carefully. The A/C unit worked but was loud. AND, the room rate was outrageous! We reserved through Booking.com and were informed that this was the only room left in the hotel for the two nights we needed. However, the hotel was far from fully booked, and we feel deceived and ripped off. We will never use Booking.com again.

The air conditioner also was not working properly and the room never got below 73 which wasn’t very cool. Had to run to Walmart and grab a set of sheets for both beds and the sheets were visibly stained and had hair on them. Requested rooms be changed and showed pictures,but was told they had no available rooms and the hotel was fully booked. They didn’t not even offer to change the sheets. Definitely disappointing for a room that cost $233 for one night (not even a full 24 hours with how check-in and out times are set up).

- Holli (6/5): It’s just ok - The room was fine nothing to right home about. The hotel had a bad smell to it like wet carpet mixed with dog. The pool was not opened and it was the middle of June. I was told it was due to Covid but it is now 2025, Covid can’t keep being an excuse to not open the out door pool. For the price per night I would expect better quality. I’m finding that all Hilton are starting to be the low end of hotels now.

- katie (6/5): - I liked the location-right across from an Aldi’s grocery and very close to a Starbucks (I use Ingles grocery). The room and lobby were nice. Breakfast was good. Gym on the second floor-we didn’t workout but used the water station to refill our water bottle. The only complaint is the pool is very small and we were not aware that it was closed. The front desk told us it needed to be cleared by the health department. I wish we could have used the pool.
- Virginia (6/5): - It was Memorial Day weekend and the pool was not ready, since there was at least one turtle living in it, I had no expectations that it was going to be ready. It was very green and nasty. The bathroom needed a deep clean. It just wasn’t as nice as it once was. It’s overpriced by Hartwell standards, but the only hotel in town that isn’t sketchy.

The problem was that Booking contacted me and the property the morning of check in and said I had neglected to check in. Checkin was not for another 4 hours. Booking cancelled my reservation and took my $400. The hotel manager got me another room but I had to pay the hotel after paying Booking in full. Booking refused to pay the hotel. They refuse to refund my money. I have tried to reach Booking. No one will respond to me. Booking lied to my credit card company so they are making me pay. I have used Booking for years but I will never use them again. No one will assist me with this.

- winnistravels1 (10/5): Great Hotel and Very Friendly Service - Great hotel and very friendly service. The rooms are clean, and there is a small pool at the back of the hotel. Breakfast is free and caters more to the American taste buds. We come here every year to visit family. I will definitely stay here again.

The breakfast was great with all the options and a person staffed on breakfast to help with everything. What I did not like was that there were people being so very loud, fighting, they must have been tearing their room apart and this went on for over 2 hours. I know its not the fault of the hotel but something should have been done before it went on that long. But overall again, great stay and will definitely stay here again. Thank you.

This location was very well-maintained and clean. The front desk was helpful too. If in Hartwell for business again I would stay here.

On this visit, Rachael, the front desk clerk, was extremely helpful, patient, and kind with an elderly gentleman that needed assistance. The cleaning staff was courteous as well. This staff continues to go above and beyond!

It was a very attractive feature but not a very comfortable one when the light was on in the middle of the night. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and professional.

The breakfast was good but the breakfast area was a little small. Would consider staying there again but I would definitely bring my own pillows.
