Becky (2/5): RUN!!! Do NOT stay here!!!! - Upon arrival workers were out front vaping so I had to wait at an empty desk. First room - door didn’t work so I had to our carry luggage back down. Second room - SMELL WAS AWFUL!!!! There was black mold and mildew in room and bathroom. Stains all over the walls. Refrigerator was standing open and unplugged. Air conditioner was turned off so it was extremely hot since it was already a hot summer day!!! Paid extra for two beds but one was broken. Nobody was up front so I left so the room could cool down and gave up. It was a miserable night with no sleep. I wanted to complain on my way out but there still wasn’t anyone working the front desk.

Verified traveler (6/5): - The girl that checked us in was nice, but she kept leaving the lobby and standing outside at a truck talking to the driver. Our room only had 3 towels and we had 4 guests. She wasn't at the desk for me to request more towels so I had to get one from the room next door to us (part of our family). The room smelled like bleach, but wasn't very clean. The duvet cover had a hole in it. There were dead roaches in the hallway. The bed was very soft, which was comfortable to me. The air unit had mold growing in it and smelled horrible.
Ronnie (8/5): - Staff at front desk was not friendly. They weren’t rude or anything, just not friendly or welcoming. At around 10:50 am on Sunday there was a large group of people waiting to check out but no front desk attendant for about 10 minutes. We rang the bell several times. She finally came in from outside.

Penny (6/5): - The room was nice enough and the staff was friendly, but the outside of the property and building were unkept and the curtains in our room were actually shredded! We asked housekeeping to come back on the first day because we were getting ready for a funeral, and they never did. So, the second night, we had no clean towels. There were people smoking right outside the front and back doors, so every time we went in and out, we got lungs full of smoke (I have asthma, so that was a problem.) Also, the second night, there were people (children?) running around above us at 3 am, so sleeping was nearly impossible. We called the front desk, but it didn’t stop. 3 stars for reality, which could have been 4 or 5 with some intervention by management.

I stay at a lot of places and this is the only place I can say that smells good even in the stair hallway. It's soooo clean. Very easy to check in. Very quiet it stormed pretty hard outside. We never heard a thing inside. The parking lot is very well lit up. Best place to stay in town.

David Bonney (4/5): Terrible room conditions - The condition of room was poor. Shower drain was badly clogged. The iron was broken. Light bulb was out on lamp. The fridge was not cooling. Mattresses were at least 10 years old and very uncomfortable. This in no way reflected on the front desk. They were kind and professional.

Taryn (4/5): - This property needs updating badly. There was pealing paint in bathroom and the sheets had stains on them. The furniture was old and worn. Taking my dogs out to go to the bathroom there is trash everywhere. The staff told us they would have a plated breakfast for us and made us fill out a form when we checked in of what we wanted and then we went to pick up the plates the next morning and they didn’t have them. We paid too much for this hotel.

There was a dust ball that resided behind the bathroom door the entire week that we were there even after housekeeping cleaned the bathroom. We called down to the desk about 2:00 AM because the room next to ours was so loud that it woke both of us up.

The bathroom door didn’t close all the way and was therefore unable to be locked. Light bulb was out in a lamp. Bed was the softest piece of crap I’ve ever slept on. Sheets smelled musty. WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. Would rather sleep in my car.
Mark (6/5): I’ve stayed in better BWs. - We were given room 217, which had a broken air conditioner. They were supposed to block the room from rental, but didn’t until we told them about it. Then, we got room 111, which was cold and damp. They had two bags of DampRid hanging on the coat rack, which collected a lot of water in 2 days. A lot of the room doors have worn hardware that make them difficult to open. Breakfast on morning 1 was cold or not replenished, including juice machine and coffee pots being empty for a while. Staff waited for most of crowd to leave before correcting the situation. On morning 2 we checked out early and went to Cathy’s Corner. Much better food.

Mark (8/5): Decent Stay for the Money - Aged hotel, but clean. Breakfast could be better. Bathroom sink dripped and tub drain was clogged. Upstairs hallway is hot in the summer. Room AC does a good job, though. Staff is friendly and helpful. Pool is clean and felt good after a day in the sun. Will use, again.

Corey (6/5): - I’m not sure what the rationale for others rating so high is. In comparison to lower-end hotels it would rank high, but with nicer hotels it doesn’t compare. What was a standout were the friendliness of the staff. So that is something. My room HVAC didn’t work correctly, so the humidity was high, leaving the sheets and towels feeling dampish. The doors are thin so people talking in the hallway is loud in the room. There was also an odor in the room too. Overall it wasn’t worth saving the $60 compared to two other very nice hotels within 2 blocks of this BW.

I hope I haven’t been billed twice for our stay. It took about 30 minutes to do this.

Upon arriving we were told the pool is closed during the winter months which was not posted on the website. The staff was amazing and the room was nice. I wont book another stay there unless its in the summer as my children love to swim and there are to many other places to stay that offer year around swimming.
