The front desk ladies let me check-in early knowing my dire situation demanded it…The people of Elkton / North East are genuinely helpful on a dutiful level where no-to-be is unthinkable. I feel lucky I broke down there.

• David (5/5): Nice area to stay - The room was very clean as well as the bathroom. Had a lot of space. The shower made a screeching sound the entire time you showered and just got louder and louder. There was a 3 inch gap under the door which allowed the hallway light to come through so you had to use a towel to cover it. The lock to the door did lock you had to lift up on the door for it to latch. At 806am you could hear housekeeping dropping things and such. Like that's insane for a Saturday morning. Also we had the king room and the bed dipped majorly in the middle. Was nothing I expected. We have stayed at other locations and by far this was disappointing.

It was the best room we ever stayed since the pullout sofa turns into a queen size bed, .and everybody slept very comfortably. Our Room was clean and spacious, and the all the staffs we met were very kind and professional! We absolutely enjoyed staying there.

The room was very comfortable and everything was pretty new, wonder if the rooms were recently redone. The bathroom was great too and sparkly clean. The breakfast was surprisingly good as well. • Russell (8/5): - The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The neighboring property made for unpleasant view. The fence was falling down and a lot of junk in yard. A new fence to hide this area might be helpful. It would have been helpful to know pool was closed for repairs before we booked.
• Ashley (10/5): - The building is old (a bit of wear on the walls and furniture) but the rooms are spotless, the beds are all new, and all of the amenities work (especially the AC which you have full control over). The staff are wonderful and were able to help me with every question I brought them. The area it is in is very safe as its fairly secluded. It is well located so you can drive to most everything you need within 15 minutes. If you forget anything or get hungry they have a mini store filled with snacks and treats. If I'm ever in the area I would stay here again!

• Michael (4/5): Get what you pay for - visiting for a funeral. First day smelled of marijuana in the hallway, did not have the best experience with service with evening staff. Checked out a day early and was charged for the entire stay.
• David (2/5): - I’d hate to kick people while they’re down but the meth addicts lurking the property kinda freaked us out. They did not tell us until after check in that the pool was not in service. They have a sign up that says they made accommodations with other hotels with pools in the area, but no one knew who. The ice machine wasn’t working apparently they were filling it with ice from the gas station across the street. So don’t put that in your drinks. They have a sign up that says they sell ice but throw a fit if you ask to buy ice. They say they accept dogs (max 2 dogs no larger than 25lbs each) but then a day or 2 after check in I get random charges on my credit card, I go to the desk and the person was clueless what they were for. Come to find out they dinged me $25 per day for my dog who is under 25lbs. Argued with the manager over the fees, she was completely irate. Expedia ended up refunding me even though Best Western dropped the ball. To top it off there’s sketchy people there with massive pit bulls. Black Mold on ceiling in both the main room and bathroom. I’ve stayed at tons of Best Westerns over the years with no issue including this location. The owner of this one has let this property go completely down the drain. What a shame, it’s a great location. Best Western should drop this one to save face.

• jazzy472021 (8/5): A good place to spend a night - The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is good and the front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is tucked away so it’s nice and quiet here.

However, the furnishings were quite dated, and the mattress was unfortunately extremely uncomfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep for 3 nights straight.

• Janice (8/5): - It wasn't the most friendly welcome at check in but it was professional. Appreciated the quiet room on the end and the large room. Breakfast was decent but happy they offered coffee 24 hour a day.
• James (6/5): - the staff was a little rude in some cases. We were told we could not use the ice machine to fill a cooler. Bags were supposed to be available but they had none so no easy ice availability. Also I asked my wife when we left the room if she removed tbe sign. She said yes and the housekeeping lady said "So I guess you want your room done?". Kind of obvious. There was also a pool on premises but we were never informed on bookong or anythong that it was closed. Disappointing to expect a pool and not have one. Would not stay here again
• William (4/5): - Dated place in need of an upgrade. Not too clean, but pleasant staff and only needed to sleep one night. Expected a little better.
• Morgan (6/5): North East MD - Great Staff and excellent breakfast selection. Pool closed, no operating ice machines, very humid and damp building. No exhaust fan in bathroom. Toilet in our room stopped working the last night of our stay.

The hotel is kind of expensive for service provided - Breakfast was ok There was one guy sitting on a chair outside his room in the corridor talking over the phone late night. It looks like he was living permanently in the hotel. I could hear his conversation from my room. It was hard for me to fall sleep.
• Crystal (8/5): Very good - The facilities and our room were very clean. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The hotel was very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was good with a few options. Overall, .it was a great stay The television in our room kept going in and out, which made it hard to watch anything. That was the only issue that I had with my stay
