Guest Reviews
- Drew (6/5): - Blood stains on blanket ,shower curtain, shower senior hand rail, tissue box
- Christy (4/5): - There was no breakfast available when we checked out at 9am. Our bathroom had heavy water damage. Vending machines were empty.
- Geoff (4/5): - Staff did bare minimum, including engaging with customers (me). Rooms and hallways were incredibly hot. Bathroom had damaged sink. Television very small. No USB charge ports in the room. Had to move the furniture to find outlets.
- Patrick (4/5): - The shower curtain and area around the tub were very dirty, stained, mildewed. Washcloth was stained/dirty.
We were woken early by an alarm in the next room.
Breakfast was minimal.
The hotel was hard to find. There are no signs on the road.
- Akpe (2/5): - There is a terrible smell in the lobby and in the room. Towels are dirty. I have to go to Walmart to get bed sheets and towels to use. I couldn’t have coffee for breakfast because of the smell.
- Catherine (6/5): - The room had stale smelling towels. The complimentary bath supplies were either empty or half used. There were items left in the fridge. Not sure when the last time the room was vacuumed. The TV was old and made a horrible noise when first turned on. The only good thing was the bed was very comfortable. The staff were not friendly and usually sitting around in the lobby or nowhere to be seen.
- Daneen (6/5): Bypass... - I spent the night on 9/16 in room 206. The bathroom floors needed to be deep cleaned as there was caked up dirt in the crevices and corners. Only 3 channels on the tv worked and there was an x on the comforter with a magic marker.
I spent a second night on 9/19 (these reservations were made in advance as I was in town for a funeral). This time I was in room 216. It was clean, comfortable, & all tv channels worked. The only issue this time was at check in-the desk clerk was trying to charge me a 2nd time when the room was paid in advance.
Overall, this hotel needs LOTS of updates. I wouldn't recommend it. My suggestion would be to stay in Dover or Middletown.
- Mike (4/5): - Was a bit over priced for what you get
- Deryahna (8/5): - Good property
- Nykiesha (10/5): - Night staff was rude. And the the day staff was never around the breakfast was not wat was advertised.
- piff (6/5): - This is a nice hotel to stay food places close by in walking distance. The pool was nice and clean . The breakfast could of been much better it wasn't a big selection at all . Eggs , toast, waffles, cereal, bagels in a package, and muffin in a package and banana. The coffee was nasty the cream was nasty the o.j ran out and breakfast was over so they didn't refill it . I stayed two nights and the breakfast was the same thing nothing different. The second morning the fire alarm went off early in the morning scaring the heck out of you . And you get no call or announcement saying force alarm or anything. Nobody alerted the consumers to keep us calm and not panic. The staff needs to do better in that aspect. Other than that it's a nice hotel to stay at if you in the area
- Damien (4/5): - 8:45am fire drill. The first room tv was broken. Rough weekend at the quality.
- Juliet (6/5): - For an overnight stay, the location was convenient. The room (217) was satisfactory. The bed was comfortable. On the surface, the bathroom appeared clean, however, the toilet had a very dark ring just under the lip of the porcelain. I wasn't sure if it was bacteria growth or what. When I flushed, it did not go away. I told the representative at the front desk and he said he would inform the housekeeper. Please address this condition as soon as possible. I think some special attention should be given to this situation. If I were staying longer, I would have requested another room.
Your attention to this matter would be appreciated by others.
- Brenda (10/5): - provided what I was looking for -- clean and quiet
- Kevin (8/5): - Wonerful place, all good..Hotel,area, staff.
- Randall (6/5): - The parking lot had people hanging out blaring music. The front desk was told. Went to diner, came back music still blaring and now there are 6,7 guys out drinking beer.
By 9:30 it quieted down. But we did spot a few really small ants in the room and the ac unit was very loud.
- Frank (8/5): - Would have gave 5 stars but breakfast was a bust.
- Richard (8/5): - Everyone very friendly
- Colleen M (6/5): - The room was ok. Its a non smoking room that has .most certainly been smoked in. Two towels, thats it. Ants in the bathroom. Thankfully this is just a one night stay.
- Kyle (8/5): - It's a decent place to stay when visiting the area. The television was basic, wifi passable, coffeemaker a joke...and I dont even drink coffee. The continental breakfast lack choices and consisted of muffins, cereal boxes, bananas and very dry, hard scrambled eggs. But I would stay again, because I just needed a place to lay my head and the price is slightly above average cost for a hotel room for a weekend summer stay!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Sleeping in the grass would have been more comfort - Easy access off the highway clean lobby room was clean however the beds are hard as a rock the AC did not work at all. Not happy
- Michael (4/5): - Room was clean however, the toilet was running all night, tub drain was clogged (had to shower in one minute spurts to avoid the water rising above ankles), vanity faucet moved when touched, bath towel had two large red stains, and no usb ports.
- Massango (2/5): - They charged me a 75$ deposit even though I had pid fully on expedia.reason being because of me needing an accessible room.. and proceeded to tell me thy only have 1 accessible room .. pardon me but I refuse to believe that so he did me a favor. The mirror in the room is cracked I took a picture after calling front desk multiple times with no response. Thank God pic has time fra on it. I checked out in the morning making sure there knew I did not break their mirror. Everything was fine as I left ..I was told my 75$ deposit would be released in about 3 days full on lies. So when I get back to town I have to go there so they can release my money. I would avoid this place unless no other options are available!!!
- CRAIG (6/5): - The morning breakfast consisted of coffee and muffins.
Other lodgings offer scrambled eggs and bacon as part of the Free breakfast.
- Darryl (8/5): - 2nd time staying here no major issues
- Patricia (2/5): Not worth the stay. - The building was musty smelling. The toilet kept running. Was supposed to include breakfast, only thing available was cheap prepackaged pastries. Looked like someone was O.D.ing in the parking lot.
- Laura (10/5): - Great hotel stay. Only one night but I'm back in July. I'll stay here again
- Nancy (8/5): - Clean and convenient to Bombay Hook
- Angela (8/5): - It was a nice stay, very convenient to where I needed to be.
- Myra (2/5): - It had a lot of problems
- John (8/5): - A solid, comfortable place to stay at a reasonable rate.
- Donald (8/5): - Comfortable and clean
- Larry Lloyd (6/5): - When we arrived the person at the desk was very helpful and got what we asked for without delay. The next morning we went down to breakfast and there were no eggs and the sausage were barely cooked so we went out. The next morning we had already decided to go out; but, on Monday we thought we would try again since we were leaving for the airport. There were no eggs or sausage! Also the weather warmed and we switched to air conditioning. It never cooled the room
- Laura (2/5): Never again - It was not good, I was there for 3 nights and did NOT request to have my room cleaned, however someone went into my room and stole my prescription medications. I was traveling alone on business and that left me feeling uneasy the rest of my stay, plus my health was in danger without my medications. I knew someone was in my room because the blinds were opened, but no one was in there to clean as my room was not cleaned, no trash removal. Question is why did anyone go in my room at all. The only good thing I can say is that the hotel manager who checked me in was very nice and explained everything to me. Otherwise, I will never stay there again.
- Aunjeria (10/5): Experience was good - It was clean and actually smelled good. It was comfortable. They may need more TV channels. But everything was good.
- Evelyn (8/5): - Except for the TV that kept losing connection. All was good. The desk clerk was excellent. Polite, friendly and so helpful.
- Jeffery (10/5): - Quite
- Barry (4/5): - Bedroom sheets dirty and needed to be change. Shabby torn furniture. Never saw such a poor continental breakfast. Why bother having one.
- Craig (4/5): - Nothing
- Nicholas (10/5): - Great price and clean hotel! Very impressed
- Albert (2/5): - My reservation was recorded as a room reservation for someone with disabilities- this was not my interest. Secondly the tv did not operate as expected. My room had a poorly efficient heating - I couldn’t get the heat to arm the room adequately.
- Bryan (2/5): - Nothing
- Ann (10/5): - Very quiet clean. No sausage or bacon at breakfast but the waffles were good.
- Kadie (10/5): - The staff was very nice and helpful. One of the cleanest hotels in the area. Very quiet
- Joseph (10/5): Relaxing and clean - It was very nice and pleasant and the room was clean. Didn’t have any issues.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - room was clean. good place to lay your head. not a place I'd plan to stay again unless upgraded.
- George (8/5): Good - The stay was good I just wish the bed was more comfortable
- Nancy (8/5): - Convenient to Bombay Hook with food locations close by
- TIKI (2/5): - THIS IS A TRASH ASS HOTEL. THE ROOM TRASH THE STAFF TRASH THE BREAKFAST TRASH SMELL TRASH. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE BURNED DOWN
- Erica (6/5): - The hotel needs updating and better lighting. The coffee is rather disgusting. The elevator needs new wall paper. Overall the room served its purpose but this place needs help.
- Shaina (2/5): - The tv was broken, the shower water pressure sucked and kept making a loud noise. The fan in the bathroom sounded like it was gargling water. The guy patel, who checked us in wasn't friendly at all. The next morning for breakfast, the milk, eggs and yogurt were all nasty or expired. We just wont be staying at another quality inn ever again.
- Norman (2/5): - THIS HOTEL NEEDS LOTS OF HELP IN EVERY DEPARTMENT.
THE ROOMS NEED A LOT ATTENTION EXPRESSLY THE BATHROOMS AND THE ROOM SCENT
THIS STAY WAS BAD AND I WOULD’NT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY THERE!!!!!!
I FILL LIKE I WAS TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF
NOT WELL SPENT MONEY AT ALL!!!!!!
- Bryant C. (2/5): Bad stay - Dusty and it smelled bad
- patricia (10/5): - Very friendly and caring staff
- Byron (6/5): - Not awful. Just really dated and in need of a upgradesp
- Holly (10/5): - Room was very clean and large. It was quiet. Only thing was the breakfast during the week did not have any eggs or sausage just the waffle machine and cereal.
- Timothy (10/5): - The hotel staff was attentive and friendly. Comfortable rooms and beds.
- Kimberly (8/5): - Yu
- patricia (10/5): - It was close to afew restaurants and grocery store but still tucked away
- Arman (4/5): - Let’s start with the check in. At most Choice hotels including the Comfort Inn and Suites the night before I was given a gift bag and a separate gift for being a long standing Choice member. At this Quality Inn there was no bag or gift given. The elevator was dirty and in need of repairs. The room was dirty including a waste basket that looked like someone had thrown up on it. The shower was barely warm. The breakfast was very poor including no apple juice just water.
- Suzanne (8/5): 1 night stay - It was fine. The room was nice and quiet.
- lisa (10/5): We will stay here again - They are very nice and very accommodating. We ask for a certain location and they gladly accommodate us. Breakfast area nice too
- karl (8/5): - Very quiet
Room comfortable
- lisa (10/5): We will stay here again! - The hotel staff was wonderful. They went above and beyond to help us with a problem with our reservation and get it resolved promptly.
Hotel room was clean and spacious.
We will stay here again!
- Ashley (4/5): - I guess it worked for what we needed a cheap night away from home in the area we plan to move. However the hotel was dirty, beds hard as a rock and the pool was closed. Which was the only reason we choose this hotel. I did call and ask before booking if the pool was open and was told yes. At least we now know where we will not be staying again.
- PAUL (10/5): - Nice accommodations at a fair price.
- karl (8/5): - Easy, accessible to highway
Quiet
- Curtis (8/5): - Property was very nice and well kept. My only complaint was the beds were a bit hard. I will definitely return as everything else was great.
- Daniel (2/5): - Nasty
- John (10/5): - I stayed in this area for personal reasons. My time was spent in the hotel to sleep.
- Dave (4/5): - Ants in the room. Door looks like it had been repaired after previously being kicked in (broken off hinges). Toilet was filthy and ice machine pretty non-functional. Bed was comfortable, however and bedding appeared to be clean.
- Danielle (10/5): - Staff was very friendly, nice clean hotel, breakfast was very good, it was the same items everyday. But still very filling. Dunkin right Nextdoor. :)
- marcia (6/5): Stinky - The hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming. The shower and bed were very good. Unfortunately the room smelled heavily of state cigarette smoke. It is a strict no smoking hotel but obviously has never been cleaned to seem so. They should think about getting an ozone machine to rid the smoke smell. We have used one in our Airbnb and it worked… got rid of the odor after a guest smoked heavily during a 10 day stay.
- Sabrina (8/5): - I didn’t like that I had to change the shower curtain and the front desk gave me 3 shower curtains that were dirty also before giving me a clean one
- Gregory (4/5): - What made the property unique was how filthy the wash cloths, towels, pillow cases, sheets, and flooring were.
- Rose (6/5): - Stay was affordable and in close proximity to my event however, did not feel as if room was cleaned accordingly.
- Terrence (6/5): - Property could use some renovations. It was an OK place to sleep, but there was a pretty strong smell of cannabis on our floor and in general can use some updating. Breakfast was just OK
- Nicole (10/5): - Breakfast buffet was convenient and good, rooms were nice and clean.
- John (6/5): - We stayed for a Lacrosse tournament that was 25 minutes away. The hotel is average and breakfast was fair. Some of the finishes are dated. Staff was nice. Good for the price.
- Craig (8/5): - The hotel is dated and way over priced. Won't go back.
- Richard A (6/5): Short stay - It was comfortable we had Acess to quite a few stores and Resturant’s. It was affordable considering it was short notice. We came to town for a graduation celebration of our niece. The room seemed pretty clean but there was a yellowish stains on the comforter. Thank God we travel with Lysol. But otherwise the room was fine everything worked and it was peaceful and quite
- Ryan (2/5): - I booked for 3 days and left 2 full days early. So they kept the 2 days extra money, and then went ahead and kept my $50 deposit without any explanation whatsoever. There was no reason for them to keep my deposit; I did not cause any damage to the room nor did I take any towels or anything like that. Can't believe they'd swindle me out of my deposit when they were already getting 2 days' stay worth of extra money.
- Stacy (4/5): - Young lady that checked us in was rude. Went to our room the carpet was dirty not vacuum and bathroom was nasty had mold in the toilet and in the sink. Young lady told us that it wasn’t another room to put us in. I went to the store to buy cleaning supplies to clean the room.
- Deepak (4/5): - Not well maintained
- Sean (4/5): - Cheapest, most budget amenities possible. Breakfast was miserable.
- vince (8/5): - Very basic few amenities, good for quick stay .. sleep and shower
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Terrible rude check in. Breakfast was sparse. Very little food to offer and eggs were cold. Room was dirty and there were boogers or something on the wall by the bed. Floor was so dirty and staff was rude at best.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Quality that we unfortunately anticipated - The bathroom was dirty. Bedding materials seemed very worn. Not enough towels. External doors not locked at night.
- Terri (6/5): - Elevator was duct taped together. Foyer restrooms must be inoperable because they are blocked with boxes and cones.
- Alfred (6/5): - The location of the property was quite, calm and safe. Breakfast was horrible. Just bread and bagel.
- Vincent (6/5): - The room wasn't as clean as I expected and the breakfast didn't have much to offer
- Stephanie (6/5): Good location, hospitality needs work - We stayed here for our niece's graduation. When we checked in, the staff member seemed uninterested in checking us in and was very monotone. The other staff member had to help him, and she was very pleasant and was laughing with us and asking about our trip. The television in our room kept losing signal and would freeze often, and the only ice machine was in the lobby. We were a little disappointed with breakfast, as they only had a waffle maker, cereal, and eggs. The area is close to Dover, so location-wise it was good.
- Carol (4/5): - Stains on mattress cover and dirty/stained shower curtain didn't give any confidence that the remainder of the room was clean.
- Tamika (8/5): - No complaints
- Antoinette (8/5): - Nice hotel! But the bed are hard and uncomfortable
- Mindy (8/5): - Everything about this hotel was average! It provided us with all the basic needs with no frills. It met our basic expectations.
- Lorraine (6/5): - The bed frame made noise. Shoes stuck to the bathroom floor.
Breakfast very limited. TV had to warm up before sound came on, no directory for TV available. Workers were nice and tried to help.
- Marian (10/5): - Easy check in, convenient, clean, and bedding comfortable.
- Guivny (10/5): - Fine
- Evelyn (10/5): - Well I have to start by saying that the check in was fast and easy the front clerk was a young man very polite and nice so the greeting was welcoming. The room was nice and clean and smelled good. My kids so very much enjoyed the pool that was also clean e ended booking the hotel another nite. The breakfast was simple but good. I have to say I'm very pleased and impressed with the hotel and thank you to the young clerk who was attentive and accommodating to my family. Will be coming again.
