(It said no where on the reservation that it was a shower only). So the I had to upgrade my room to a JACUZZI (for my toddlers). Then the associate said it would only cost $10 to upgrade. I got charged and additional $60!!!!

- Robert (9/5): Nice place to stay. - Although it was not fancy, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the room temperature was set just right, and the room was large. It had everything that you needed such as refrigerator, microwave, iron and ironing board, and even a personal property safe. I would certainly stay here again. During my stay I can't say that there wasn't anything that I was unhappy about.

- Tony (6/5): - This property has a lot of potential because of the location, but it is in need of some upgrades to bring it up to par. Overall, our keys didn’t work on most of the exterior doors, and one door was typically left propped open because it wouldn’t shut completely. While I generally feel safe in Stillwater, if we were staying anywhere else I would have been a little concerned about unwanted guests wandering in. The room we stayed in had two queen beds and a sleeper sofa. In theory, it’s a really nice layout, but the extra room with the queen bed is about 15 degrees warmer than the rest of the room. In order to even be able to sleep, we had to set the AC at 62 degrees, which made it unbearably cold for the person in the bed next to the AC. Not to mention the door had been removed from this room, leaving no privacy from the rest of the room. (Tough for my wife to be able to change with our boys in the room) The bathroom did not have a fan, which turned it into a sauna which allowed for zero ventilation. Again, seems like these issues could all be resolved, and with the location, this could become a desirable place to stay in Stillwater.

Front desk moved us to another 2 bedroom where only 1 of the a/c units worked. Kids didn’t sleep well because room was too hot.

- Stacy (6/5): Shameful price gouging during OSU family weekend. - The hotel entrance and waiting are were nice. You could tell it had been updated. The rooms were older but clean. Bedding was nice. Shower drain was not draining properly and back up while trying to shower. Room was a $200 a night, 3 star room but, we paid over $400 during OSU family weekend. All hotels were price gouging in a terrible way! Shameful and disgraceful in my opinion. We aren’t a wealthy family and could only afford to stay one night making it impossible to attend the whole weekend of events.

- edward (6/5): - It was clean enough. Located centerally. NOTHING WORKED. hot tub hasnt worked in years according to staff. Bad smell in the room. Advertised room service in the room. Staff had no idea what i was talking about when i mentioned it. No toilet paper in the downstairs bathroom. Had only 2 tissues in a box. Was like that for two days. Remote did not work. They were not equipped with batteries to put in it. Elevator starts with a huge jerk. The pool, which was operational, looked like it had not seen service in a month. There was a sheen of bugs or lint floating on top. Front desk clerk had homemade neck tattoos and was frequently not at her post because she was out back smoking. Stayed two nights and never once even seen a housekeeping cart much less got service to the room. Alright place to stay if you are not interested in a lot of the amenities they advertise. Just dont charge the same price as higher end hotels in the area if all your stuff is broken and lacking. I mean come on, you dont even have batteries for the remotes or toilet paper?

- Verified traveler (8/5): This happens even at 5 star hotels though - Hot tub was not available the last time I stayed here and was hopeful it would be ready this time and it was not. The bathroom floors were visibly unswept and counters were not cleaned and breakfast was cold. We also spotted a couple tiny roaches on the breakfast counter the last day and bypassed breakfast that day. The coffee machine was great and the waffle irons were perfect. Ive stayed at worse so I never raise a ruckus but yeah…cant win them all I guess.
- Diedre (4/5): poor experience - shower knob broken had a choice of cold water or scalding hot water. adjustment to try to get something in between resulted in no water flowing. lobby bathroom strong detergent made be sneeze really hard and gave me an asthma attack
- Bobette (8/5): - Once we ended up in a room it was great. First room they sent us to the A/C was being worked on. Went back to the lobby for another room. Second room was not fully cleaned. Went back to the lobby. Third room was finally appropriate. That room was exactly what we expected! Clean and comfortable!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Got a good nights rest - Just needed a place to sleep for the night. Plenty of pillow options and the room was clean. It’s an older hotel but for the price I was satisfied with the location, breakfast, and cleanliness of the room. Some paint chips on the walls and a lot of dead space in the living area of the room. This could be made more welcoming with the addition of a couple comfy chairs.
- jeffrey (6/5): - The pool was nasty (and closed on our first day), the hot tub was really gross and never opened during our 4 night stay. The door to our room was so sticky that only I could open it by throwing my shoulder at it. There was a lot more wrong in our room. Maintenance is not good.
- Bryan (4/5): Poor A/C - Not Cool in Room - A/C didn't work and/or didn't blow cold air. When it was brought to the attention of the staff, they just said unplug it and plug it back in. Not very helpful and didn't seem to care.

- Justin (6/5): Mediocre at best - We’re not picky but the shower was basically unusable. Never wanted to get out of one so bad. Water wouldn’t drain and took forever to get warm. The pool wasn’t very well maintained, hot tub didn’t work, and no one ever refilled the towels. Had to ask each time. The place would be fine for a Cheap stay, but it was way overpriced for what it was.

Stayed one night at LaQuinta inn and it was cheaper did not charge for pets or parking and it had a better pool and breakfast.

- Gary (2/5): - This hotel was horrible and nothing like the pictures. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. Lobby was clean. Rooms were horrible. Our room smelled like mildew, one of the TVs wouldn’t work, and the toilet wouldn’t flush without trying 3-4 times. Horrible cracks around the ceiling and chunks of the wall breaking off. The pool has peeling paint all over the ground so there are paint pieces all in the pool water and the bubbles up paint sticks to your feet as you walk around. The hot tub was also out of service but the water was very green and just gross looking. We disliked it so much we tried to find another room available for the night and just take the $280 loss for this room but couldn’t find anything. I would never stay here again. I feel bad that my children had to stay here.

- Julie (4/5): - Staff was a bit rude. We couldn't figure out the 2 knob system for shower and they we short and rude. The toilet had to flush 2 or 3 times to flush and handle was broken had to wiggle so it would refill water The coffee pot had coffee still in it.. the microwave had coffee all spilled in it, laundry was not good and had no quarters to use it.( put a cc pay on it if you dont have quarters) the breakfast was nothing and out of stuff. They had no towels for pool or bath towels.. we had 5 people and 3 towels.. the lobby was leaking and had buckets. The room for computer had papper all over floor for 2 days and no one picked up.. they were just inconvenient and will not recommend staying there..

Location was nice as it was close to everything We witnessed the breakfast bar older man working be completely rude to a Spanish Speaking man. A man who PAID FOR HIS HOTEL THAT COMES WITH A COMPLEMENTARY BREAKFAST. HE DIDN'T WANT BREAKFAST AT THIS VERY MOMENT SO HE GRABBED 1 APPLE AND 1 YOGART TO GO AND PUT IT IN HIS ICE CHEST. THE MAN WORKING THE BREAKFAST BAR COMPLETELY EMBARRASSED THIS YOUNG MAN BY YELLING AT HIM THAT HE IS NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE ANYTHING FROM THE BREAKFAST BAR. THAT THAT IS FOR THE OTHER PEOPLE WHO IS STAYING AT THIS HOTEL. WHEN THE YOUNG MAN ASK WHY WHAT DID HE DO WRONG, CONFUSED BECAUSE HE IS A PAYING CUSTOMER THE OLDER MAN YELLED AT HIM TO PUT IT BACK. Another gentleman and his wife were in shock because no where does it state that the breakfast has to be eating in the dining area. I grabbed a yogurt and spoon and walked out the door with nothing said to me. Which pissed me off more. I took that young man his yogurt and apologized for that man's behavior towards him and told him I would be filing a complaint. I have a call into corporate but when I ask another employee for that mans name she refused to give it to me. 3 employees watched this happen and not 1 stepped in they all literally turned their heads away. I'm not the person that falls under the bystander effect. I WILL ALWAYS STEP IN. SHAME ON YOU BEST WESTERN. SHAME ON ALL THIS MORNINGS EMPLOYEES. When you pay for your hotel and it includes all amenities and complementary breakfast wherever you chose to eat it.

- Sandonne (10/5): Great location, I could see the OSU stadium from my room. - No room service but had a place to buy or add snacks and drinks to your room bill. Friendly staff. Nice, large lobby. Clean accommodations through out the hotel. I would stay there again. I wasn't there long enough to dislike anything. Everything worked like it was supposed to.

The lady that checked us in recommended some good choices for food and was friendly. The beds were a little hard, pool was small.

- heatheri773 (10/5): Party Room - I rented a downstairs room for a party, and we had a great experience. Chaska, Brandon, and Monica were the three employees we dealt with during our stay, and they were all so accommodating and kind. The parking and location was great for graduation- our family was all able to walk to the arena together! They even locked the room doors for us so our things were safe while we attended. Highly recommend!
- Mary (4/5): - The hotel is very conveniently located to the campus, however, the hotel itself leaves much to be desired. The breakfast was poor at best..dirty tables with syrup all over them. The rooms have very thin walls and it's extremely noisy. The bathrooms have no counter space to place a toiletry bag..the rods in the closet are very short, so my daughter's graduation gown couldn't even be hung in there. The shade didn't work. Towels are old and not in good shape. Just a very poor design to the extremely dark room. Our encounters with the staff were pleasant, but Best Western needs to work on this property...especially for the rate we were charged.

- Charles (10/5): Great stay - In town for the Boys From Oklahoma show! Loved the hotel! Friendly staff, clean and nice rooms, comfy bed, best black out curtains ever, bar was cool. Might recommend more signage to where the bar is.
- Helen (10/5): Parent weekend - It was parents weekend and Best Western was very accommodating. I had a problem with the first room because there were painters in the hallway and fumes could be smelled. They immediately changed my room after I told them I just couldn’t stay on the first floor. Room was nice and bed was very comfortable. This was not my first time staying here. The only negative was that the Loft was closed. For a big weekend I feel they should have have it open.
