- Resort45287076921 (2/5): Neglected Hotel - We stay at this BW quite regularly, but it has gone down hill so much we wont be back. Currently Jan/2026 we have been here for 3 days, the front sliding door has been broken the entire time so guests have to force it open to enter. There has not been any snow removal out side since we arrived. The kitchen is shut down so the breakfast which this location is usually pretty cheap on anyways is even cheaper. In a room for 2 people we have 1 bath towel, no clock, no pen and paper. There is also a very loud motor sound from the hallway ceiling just outside our room. While trying to discuss this downward trend with a hotel staff member she just smirked. This was the same staff woman that was running and playing some kind of game with kids as they screamed through the hall. It should be called "Harry's Motor Lodge" as it does not deserve the name Best Western.

This hotel is clean and was decorated so beautiful for Christmas an.amazing effort to create a warm inviting Christmas feel. The staff was wonderful so friendly and accommodating.. I was helped by Jun and mairi And they really made our experience 100% They have coffee tea available and ready for you . They are breakfast option and serve you with a smile. Very comfortable setting in this hotel. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. I will be booking again for sure and I highly recommend this hotel to others you will not be disappointed.
- ottokarin (10/5): A great stopover at the Okotoks Best Western Inn and Suites! - This was a wonderful stopover on our way to the U. S. for a short getaway. We didn’t want to be driving for 10-12 hours straight through, so broke up the drive from Edmonton to Idaho by staying in Okotoks overnight.

- Robert (8/5): - Overall a great location and the suites are nice and well maintained. On the downside, check in is at 4:00 and only one person was at the desk when we checked in around 4:30. When we left the hotel around 5:30 other guests were waiting to be checked in. It’s not inexpensive to stay here so first impression was not good. The gentleman that checked me in was very professional and apologized for the long wait time. I had previously checked in on line. My wife waited at the car while I was checking in and when I returned she said she was concerned something was wrong. As well, I was assured the room we were assigned had a walk in shower. It was a tub shower. The area where the microwave, fridge, coffee maker is located does not have any lighting. Why? These are minor inconveniences but when you pay a premium, you expect as advertised. I hope these observations are accepted as helpful hints. You asked.

- Honey (6/5): - I enjoyed the location of the hotel. The breakfasts were good and the breakfast staff was wonderful! The reception staff was very pleasant and welcoming. My room was located near the ice machine, which was quite loud through the night, releasing ice with a very loud crashing sound. My stay was from a Sunday to a Friday. There was a sign at the front desk stating that housekeeping would be every 2 days, which was fine. As I was leaving early every morning and not returning until quite late in the evening each day, I expected the room to be cleaned as indicated, but arrived home each night with the room having not been cleaned. After the second night I had to flag down a housekeeper in the hall for fresh towels. I finally had to mention to the front desk on Wednesday evening that my room had not been cleaned at all since I had arrived. The front desk staff brought towels to my room that night and promised that my room would be cleaned the next day, Thursday. When i arrived back at the hotel on Thursday night, the room had finally been cleaned. It is not that I am a messy guest - but fresh towels, clean bedding and emptying the garbages on the promised days was expected. Other than that - I was fine with staying at this location due to the convenience of where it was.

- JulieHC2022 (6/5): Just ok, not great. - It’s the only game in Okotoks so we really don’t have much of a choice but to stay here. We spent 6 nights in a king room with kitchenette without any major problems. The room was large, we were able to control the temp to our liking and it was very dark when the shades were drawn. The bathroom is a little tight, housekeeping is every other day but you can ask for what you need. I would prefer higher wattage light bulbs, the room was extremely dim even when all the lights were turned on. Is it clean? Don’t know, too dim to tell. I asked for a late checkout of 1pm and was told there would be a charge for that, I’d understand if the hotel was sold out and they needed to turn over the rooms but there were less than 10 cars in the parking lot. They did offer me free until noon??? 1 more hour would have killed them? This is the type of decision that kills the desire for brand loyalty, Marriott/Hilton brands need to come to town.

- Jill (10/5): - This was an awesome stay. It was our last night on our move from California to Edmonton and it was a perfect way to end. Dog friendly is our biggest concern as well as affordable. This was both. It was clean and comfy. Morning breakfast was good as well.

- Sherpa24329438777 (2/5): DO NOT BOOK OKOTOKS BEST WESTERN - hotel messed up my reservation. reservation was made 3 months in advance but they did not give me the accessible room i reserved. officer in charge angela cote was not responsive to my complain even though i emailed her about the problem and gave her my phone number to reach out to me and explain at least. inefficient director of operation.

- Amber (6/5): Just okay - Wi-Fi was not available in our room for most of our stay, and when we inquired at the front desk they gave us the phone number for their ISP and told us to call ourselves. The number was not in service. The room was clean and the beds were reasonably comfortable. We did not use the pool because someone threw up in it and it closed partway through our stay. They closed it for maintenance and reopened it within a few days, but I was not satisfied that it had been properly cleaned. The breakfast was not worth eating. However, it is easy to get food delivery service to the hotel if you need it.

- Lyle (2/5): Get control - They have multiple teams staying in their hotel and booked our family right in the middle of all of them. They had no control over the noise level or conduct of their guests.
- Ann (4/5): - This property was able to contact me to cancel my reservation (for July, made in April), but could not find it in themselves to contact me to resolve a problem with my credit card. I was the victim of a fraud and got an updated #, but they accused ME of being a fraud and cancelled my family's room. We paid $ *** for two nights when we did get there. The room had 3 towels for 4 people for two nights, one tiny shampoo etc for the 4 of us. The pool is freezing cold and the hot tub is luke-warm at best. Despite paying full hotel rates, there is only house-keeping every second day. This is very poor value. Stay elsewhere.

- Joseph (6/5): - The food was mediocre but was nice to have it there. The suite we had we paid extra for The kitchenette and the fridge wasn't working. The shower knob was not that great. The water pressure was horrible in the door which the bathroom was a bit broken. We had some stains on the bed and it was not nice view. However, it was good cuz it was a quiet town is in a really nice neighborhood. You have stuff right across the street from you if you ever need food or something real quick. The Pool was great, especially on rainy days and staff was nice.

- Kenneth (2/5): - I was billed for both my 2 night booking and the cancelled 1 night booking, plus a later unknown reason billing for $200.00. The Hotel blamed Expedia, but both the $204.50 billing for the canceled booking but at check in another $200.00 was billed showing on my Visa bill as from the hotel. I also was billed by Expedia for $408.26. The hotel claimed that the Hotel listed billings were actually Expedia and not their problem.

- ottokarin (10/5): A relaxing stopover in Okotoks! - This was a nice stopover before heading down to the States and made our drive more relaxing. The weather forecast for South Western Alberta was not great with blizzard conditions expected. We decided to stopover in Okotoks to make the drive shorter the next day. It was a good call and we had no regrets.
