- Aaron (7/5): Modern hotel, affordable close to Georgetown art scene. - Room was big and clean, great view, great neighborhood. The lights were so dim in the room that I could barely read at night. Also 7:00 pm seems a bit early to close the pool in that tropical climate.

Can’t think of much, other than wishing breakfast started earlier than 7am - but that is a minor point.

The counter staff was most excellent and helped me with a small issue flawlessly, and in a most friendly manner. The common areas weren't very well designed. The convenience store in the lobby was useful, but made the place look like a low-end mall than a hotel.

- Damien (8/5): Good option for Georgetown. - Quite comfortable, fairly well located not too far from old Georgetown (other side of Komtar). Friendly staff. Smallish rooms.
- Samantha (8/5): ok for a night - Rooms are clean, housekeeping are lovely and do an exceptional job... Breakfast was ok , roof top pool was clean and easily accessible. TV in the room only worked on 2 channels 50% of the time and the usb and HDMI are not accessible, I could not connect anything to watch. Breakfast was always full one person on egg station long wait and runny eggs could have been better, no where to sit as tables still dirty from last guest. Pool staff told me to advise other guests (i did not know) to get out of pool when it started raining when this is there job, however they let kids run around without any supervision and ruin everyones experience. front desk staff told me to use google instead of answering my question,, very rude.

- AlirioTraveller (7/5): It is like the FAST FOOD for the hotel industry. Pay/Stay/Go. No many facilities. Location is good. - These + hotels, express, and such names mean a minimalistic hotel. Many such properties are coming up. In the Philippines, it is the Tune Hotels. They don’t have much room service. Not much assistance: basic check-in, the usual cleaning, the usual bottles of water. Reasonable breakfast. That’s all they offer. No other meals, dinners. There are many nice eateries around, and the hotel is in the centre of town. Great location. Nothing too bad to dislike, except that these are just mechanical hotels, with minimalistic service. Clean and overall nice. But if you are thinking of a "proper" hotel, this is not nice.

Superb convinience for individual or family that wish to enjoy sightseeing of Georgetown by walks. There will be perfect to have bigger bathroom.

- Andrew (10/5): Our stay at Neo+, Penang - The swimming pool was a nice size and in a sunny position. The hotel was close to the Gama Shopping Centre where there was a supermarket, and food, clothing meals, etc. could be bought there. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and attended to any issues immediately. Very limited choice of English-language T.V. channels. The breakfast restaurant was limited in its choice of Western food.

Nice restaurant with live music at the hotel. They changed the Wi Fi password with no prior notice and that caused me and other guests I talked to some inconvenience. Some of the staff don't speak English at all and I experienced a rather awkward situation because of complete lack of communication. No big deal though.

- Ian (7/5): Reasonable price, so overall considered good value for money - Functional hotel, fairly modern. Decent size room & fairly comfortable, although lighting not great. Seem to operate what I would call a minimalistic approach e.g. no hand towels provided (just bath towels), and just a couple of tea & coffee sachets. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast reasonable, although the only tea & coffee available is instant and from a terrible solitary machine – should do much better Basin tap was non-adjustable. Not sure if this is by design or a fault, the water ran medium temperature but couldn’t adjust it towards cold or hot at all. Tip: Do not be fooled by ‘airport shuttle’ offering. They just order you a taxi
