Die Lage in Tropea die Allerbeste. Die Vermieter sind kompetent und sehr freundlich-familiär. Falls man die Termin-Chance erhält: unbedingt zuschlagen!

Servizi ottimi e cordialità da parte di tutto lo staff, del signor Andrea che ci ha accolti e ci ha dato suggerimenti e consigli su come muoversi e su dove andare a mangiare e della signora Ornella che ci ha fatto sempre trovare la camera in ordine e pulita, ci ha preparato la colazione e ci ha intrattenuti al mattino. Ornella hat sich immer sehr bemüht und hat uns sehr freundlich und herzlich bedient. Ornella ist die Mamma per tutti. Die Lage ist optimal um alles zu Fuss zu erreichen. Wir hatten das Zimmer mit fantastischem Meerblick welches sehr ruhig war, im Monat Juni. Die Dusche ist sehr klein und es fehlen Ablagemöglichkeiten.

She was always checking on us to be sure we had everything we need it since the time we arrived to the moment we had to leave. Great location, right in the middle of shops and restaurants. And the view was to die for!!

On the first floor of a former palazzo there are three Oceanside rooms that have a staggeringly beautiful view. Set on the cliff edge you look out your window to see every detail of the beach and the crystal clear waters of Tropea. At night the piazza at the base of the palazzo comes alive with bars, restaurants and people. So much atmosphere on your doorstep but still quiet on the Oceanside when you are ready for bed. Only some taxis are allowed in the old town to take you and your luggage right to the accomodation doorstep. Message the host to get the best taxi phone number if you have a few bags.

• Joseph (10/5): - This was an amazing stay at an amazing property, in such a historical building, it was very important for me to have a view from the historic Tropea Skyline, the room was very comfortable and big, there is air conditioning, some review said there wasn't, there is definitely air conditioning. A delicious breakfast each morning, and such a hospitable staff that made you feel like you were a family rather than a guest. Don't hesitate on booking as this is one of the few hotels available in the skyline, and of course enjoy that view.

Which we weren’t surprised about since there were other reviews stated that has been an issue. For our 1 night stay the room was perfectly fine (we actually wished we stayed in Tropea longer). The breakfast and employees were very nice. It’s a nice place in a very cute town, they just need to stop overselling the ocean view rooms/adjust expectations.

Andrea was super helpful and accommodating, helping me check train times for Sicily, and Signora Ornella was a wonderful breakfast/ cleaning queen! My room was spotless, and breakfast was delicious with loads of options. I left my luggage after checkout which was really helpful. I definitely recommend Blu Tropea for your trip to Tropea - it's super special to stay right on the sea. I also had fun trying to spot my window from the garden at Santa Maria dell'Isola! However, it's worth mentioning that there was some noise from the nearby surroundings(mostly from our boats below at night with loud music), although it wasn't overly disruptive. The room itself was comfortable and clean, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploring the charming town of Tropea. The staff were friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. What truly stood out was the convenience of being just steps away from the beach, making it easy to enjoy the crystal-clear waters and golden sands of the coastline. In summary, Blu Tropea Maison offers a delightful coastal escape with unbeatable views and easy access to the beach. While there was some noise to be aware of, it didn't overshadow the overall pleasant experience of my brief stay. If you're seeking a seaside retreat in Tropea, this hotel is definitely worth considering. The town was very busy, so just be prepared for that. If you want a sleepy seaside town, then this is not the place. (But it's well worth seeing!)

• David (8/5): Our stay in Tropea - Great central location in downtown Tropea. Terrible to get too if you have a car. Paid parking was very expensive. Views were magnificent from our balcony. Air conditioning was great and we didn’t really care for the breakfast that was provided. Going back we’d stay out of downtown next time.

• Jörg (10/5): - Die Lage des B&B ist perfekt, direkt über dem Meer und trotzdem ist man nach ein paar Schritten mitten in der Altstadt. Der Blick aus dem Zimmer ist grandios, das klare Wasser, der saubere Strand und Stromboli verführen immer wieder zu neuen Fotos aus dem Fenster. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, das italienische Frühstück völlig ausreichend, und alles ist sehr sauber. Was will man mehr.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Super Aussicht, nette Gastgeberinnen - Das B&B liegt mitten im Zentrum der historischen Altstadt von Tropea. Das ist bei einer Autoanreise ev. unpraktisch, für Zugsanreisende aber sehr gut. Und während des Aufenthalts hat man wortwörtlich vor der Tür die ersten Bars und Restaurants. Das B&B hat nur wenige Zimmer (wir haben 6 gezählt). Per WhatsApp wird man schon vor der Ankunft kontaktiert und kann auch über diesen Kanal jederzeit Fragen stellen. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und vielseitig. Das absolute Highlight ist aber der Blick aus dem Zimmer, sofern man eines mit Meerblick gewählt hat. Alleine dafür lohnt es sich zu zahlen. Gleich vor dem Hotel geht es steil runter zur Küste. Das heisst auch, dass man die bodenhohen Fenster jederzeit offen lassen kann. Einschlafen und Aufwachen bei Meeresrauschen! Einschränkungen gibts höchstens für das teilweise nicht ganz so perfekt in Schuss gehalten Interieur (die WC-Türfalle z.B.) und das nicht sehr bequeme Bett (zu kurz, zu weich)

The manager called me before I arrived for sure and she was really welcoming. Location is at the edge of the cliff in the beach and you can even see the Stromboli volcanic island from the room. Stay here in Tropea.
• Danielle (8/5): Beautiful overlooking the beach - this place was beautiful! Our room overlooked the beach and old church on top of the apostle, truly stunning location. The hotel is well maintained and has all facilities you'd need. Down side is that check-in requires that you contact them before arriving to give an arrival time, and no matter how many times we called the only number provided we could never actually get through. These guys need to get an email address asap! Also the entrance to the building had insufficient lighting and on our way back in my mother sprained her ankle which was disappointing. However overall we loved this place and do recommend it.
• Jim (2/5): - After booking this hotel with Hotels.com months ahead of time, we were told 10 days before our trip that they were oversold - during the off-season at Tropea, Italy? We were relocated to another hotel further from the beach. When we got to town we discovered that all the tourist excursions were closed for the season, as were many of the restaurants and stores. So how could the hotel have been oversold? Pretty disappointed in their lack of honoring of our early booking.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Perfect view perfect stay - We spent one night in Tropea traveling to Sicily and this town was the perfect stop. Isabella was so welcoming, the room was so beautiful and the location could not be any more perfect. If you're driving, go to the hotel first to drop off your bags (you will have to climb ~20 steps so pack sparingly) because you'll have to park a couple of blocks away. Overall fantastic stay.
