• Liliia (3/5): К сожалению, номер сильно отличался от фотографий: плохая шумоизоляция, уставший ремонт, проблемы с оснащением (расплавл - Отзывчивый и доброжелательный персонал. Всегда на связи, быстро отвечал и ориентировал. Очень приятное впечатление. К сожалению номер очень сильно отличался от фотографии. Ужасная слышимость. Ремонт - еле дышит (но на фото кажется что все прекрасно. В номере было два фена и оба расплавление - решила не пытать счастье и не плавить свои волосы. Постельное белье и сантехника было чистые, но огромный слой пыли на расплавленном фене в ванной. Немного плесени в душевой. Не функционирующие диффузоры мыла, геля для душа, шампуня. Без берут заснуть невозможно. Окна закрыты но ощущение постоянно открытых окон - если ветр, то холод пробивался, если шум - то вы все услышите. Возможно это специфика Стамбула и отелей в нем, но стоит учитывать все эти нюансы в выборе ночлега в путешествии

Ms. Alexandra and Ms. Delik were very kind and help - It was close to everything it’s 1 minutes to istiklal st And 1 min to taksim SQ Also it was very clean place thanks to the staff Delik The room and the toilet were quite small. I was in room number 101 Also, no complimentary bottle of water was provided when we arrived, so we had to buy water from a nearby supermarket . Note: you can also buy the water from them but I knew that later -No elevator so you had to climb the stairs
• Jelena (7/5): For those who want to be close to the Taksim Square - the location is excellent - The location is excellent… close to Taksim Square, Istiklal Street and the Galata Tower. The staff are extremely kind and fulfill any request immediately if possible. Thank you very much for that. The fact that the apartment is on the 4th floor with no elevator and that the stairs are shaped in a way that makes you feel dizzy while climbing is a major drawback. The room is quite cold due to poor heating and there is a noticeable smell of dampness.

Thank you, Alexandra, for hosting me at your lovely hotel. The room was a bit small, but perfect for my needs, and I would stay here again if I have the chance.

Все очень базовое, но есть необходимое: холодильник, отопление, кондиционер, кровать😁 Можно с питомцами. Русскоговорящая хозяйка и возможность самостоятельного заезда даже ночью. Идеально расположен в тихом закоулке рядом с метро Таксим, автобусом в аэропорт и оживленной пешеходной улицей. Очень адекватные цены. Двухместные номера очень компактные, я бы рекомендовала их для одиночных путешественников. Для пар лучше брать номер с 2 кроватями. В номер не ставят воду, но ее всегда можно купить за углом. Обратите внимание, что здание старое, лифта нет и лестница довольно крутая.
• ANNA (8/5): - Приятная уборщица-турчанка, чисто, в номере мило, расположение, хост оперативно отвечает на вопросы в мессенджере. Прохладно, хотя батарея работала, днем нормально, а вот вечером похолодало. Но было теплое одеяло. В ванной узенько, еще и наливается из душа, протереть нечем.

The property is small (7 rooms?) located in a quiet area behind the main pedestrian street, only about 15 minutes walk from the airport bus stop. Our rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel was perfect for us.

• Olivia (8/5): - I loved my stay here, the room was simple but so cute, clean and perfect for what I needed, and I think it was fitting with the price. I adored my little balcony and listening to the kids play next-door on school days. I really liked the location of this place, its so central and whilst its right off the main drag I loved getting lost in the beautiful tiny maze-like streets surrounding and its an enjoyable walk down to Galata tower and the waterfront, about 15/20 minutes. The host was responsive on Whats App if I had questions. Perfect for a solo traveller or couple who want to do their own thing and appreciate privacy and are on a budget and want an affordable, simple but nice little stay- I'd definitely stay here again.

Старое здание, очень крутая лестница, лифта нет, тяжело поднимать чемодан. Горячая вода долго нагревается. Нет большой вывески на улице, поэтому тяжело найти с первого раза нужную дверь.

As for the conditions of staying in the hostel it was good. As for the relationship between quality and price, it is excellent and and reasonable. I also want to thank the lady in charge of cleaning, she does her job to the fullest and with all high morales. Personally, and according to my experience with this hostel, I recommend it to every tourist looking for cleanliness, tranquility, good treatment, proximity to Istiklal Street, the metro station, other means of transportation, and shopping shops

• Shaden (1/5): The Worst Hotel Experience – Complete Disrespect for Guests - Before booking, the owner acted polite and welcoming on WhatsApp. But the moment I arrived, everything changed. She started shouting at me and even accused me, without hesitation, of stealing a curtain. Truly shocking and unprofessional behavior. The hotel itself is filthy, moldy, broken, and extremely noisy — you can hear the stairs creaking and people yelling outside. And here, it’s not just the owner: even the cleaning staff are allowed to treat guests badly. Once they have your money, respect and hospitality completely disappear. If you care about cleanliness, quiet, and being treated with dignity, avoid this place at all costs.

Во-первых, очень уютные, светлые, чистые номера; во-вторых, удобное расположение, отсюда можно добраться на общественном транспорте буквально до любой локации; в-третьих, отдельное спасибо хозяйке отеля! И правда, как и во всех отзывах она невероятно доброжелательная и отзывчивая и всегда на связи! Помогла нам с маршрутами, подсказала куда лучше сходить с детьми, и даже посоветовала несколько неочевидных, но потрясающих мест в Стамбуле. Всегда отвечала с улыбкой - чувствовалось, что ей действительно важно, чтобы гостям было комфортно! Отель оставил самые теплые впечатления! Обязательно вернемся!

Для одного жильца терпимо, но для двоих будет очень тесно. Во время пребывания были проблемы с водоснабженим (как пояснили из за ремонта), из за чего не было воды. Если была, то с очень маленьким напором (сильно ощущалось на верхних этажах)

• Verified traveler (10/5): Boutique Hotel - House of Tulpen is a boutique hotel located near Taksim square. There are several restaurants close by and the Metro station is a 10 minute walk away. The hotel Is located on a quiet small street close to the action. The hotel is clean, plenty of hot water for showers and Alexandra and Baris are outstanding, friendly hosts.
• Dzirkvadze (10/5): Exceptional - It's very near Taksim square. Every day woman come and clean the room. Rooms are small but exelent for solo travelers. Some noise come from the other rooms but it wasn't uncomfortable or bothering for me beouse I was just spending nights there.
• Ugur (6/5): Fiyat Performans Oteli - Otel tam bir fiyat performans oteli. Konumu mükemmel. Sadece uyuyup duş alacağınız bir otel arıyorsanız iyi bir alternatif olabilir. Konakladığım iki gün boyunca bir tane bile personele rastlamadım. Geç saatlerde girip çıktığım için telefon ile kontak kurduk. Temizlik kötü değildi ancak oda çok küçüktü, fotoğraflarda biraz daha büyük görünüyordu. otel çok merkezi konumda olmasına rağmen tabelası olmadığı için çok zor buldum. Asansör yok, valiz fazla ise biraz sıkıntı olabilir. Banyo da çok küçüktü. Klozete oturduğunuzda dizleriniz karşı duvara değiyor. Otel konumu itibariyle taksimin göbeğinde olmasına rağmen oda içinde herhangi bir gürültü veya müzik sesiyle karşılaşmadım. Sessizdi. Bir daha kalır mısın diye sorarsanız evet kalabilirim ama daha büyük bir oda olmak kaydıyla.

For me service is way more important than how the hotel looks itself. The room was super small and the walls are super thin. I could hear a neighbor throwing up all night. Still, for that price, you cannot find a better place to stay.

I will certainly make my booking in "The House of Tulpan" for my next trip to Istanbul. Thank you for everything :) There is nothing really to complain about, but just in case you need to know that: • There is no view. • The TV was not working in my room (101). • The access to the rooms is through the stair only. But I was totally fine with all of that :)

The building is historical, the rooms are small but cozy. The owner Aleksandra is wonderful, very helpful and hospitable. I’ve stayed in several hotels in this area, but this is the first hotel I would stay again! Highly recommended!

The rooms are very clean and the cleaning lady comes every day. The rooms are very cheap for this location. The furniture is somewhat old. The wooden staircase can be loud in the middle of the night. The street is very loud, but nowhere is quiet near Taksim so it is pretty normal thing. If you plan to go out it is amazing, but if you plan to sleep early then bring earplugs.
