Katerina (4/5): It's okay but wouldn't book again - The staff were nice, food was good and the location is nice. Our room was on 4th floor and it was absolutely unbearable, it was so hot, no air there whatsoever, the hallway was the same so keeping the room door open didn't help either. We had the small window in the room open the whole time and a fan on and it made no difference whatsoever, bed was also hard and not very comfortable. I mentioned it to the receptionist at check out, who said we should've asked for a different room - fair enough. We came back to the hotel around midnight (pretty much just dropped stuff of after check in, opened window and went back out, hoping it'll air out by the time we came back), so no we didn't go to reception at midnight to ask for a different room, it shouldn't be unbearable to sleep in in a first place, room was also very small. As mentioned, food was good and staff were nice, very speedy service, took like 2 minutes to get each meal, but they do need to relax a little. Been asked several times have you finished yet while still eating just so they could clear it and bring the next course, pretty much hovering around the table waiting, felt very rushed and we were well within the 1.5 h dinner time so it's not like they were waiting at us all. Parking is a nightmare, but that's to be expected in Blackpool I guess.
THERESA (10/5): The Doric - Paid for a double and was upgraded to a family room with a side sea view. It was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. I also requested 1st floor room and that is what I got. Food very good. Tram stop is right outside the hotel. The entertainment was good with 2 acts per night but one performer had his speaker much too loud and another one wasn't very good sadly.

Janine (8/5): Very good except the double bed, it was absolutely awful and my body is broken..I even got extra duvet and folded that u - Friendly staff excellent breakfast and clean rooms.. Dated decor,dust on all skirting boards and paint off lots of door casings etc…very dated,we stayed in room no90 and the double bed was that bad and uncomfortable that I even considered taking my duvet and getting in the bath 🫣rooms clean though!!

Shaunna (8/5): - Cheap and cheerful The night time entertainment for the children, I found the women rude, told my son he was to old to hula hoop and mentioned his age a few times insinuating he was to old to be joining in he is autistic and I just didn’t appreciate it, I was happy to see him join in and not sat by himself. I really think she should work with adults and not children.

Trixiepete (3/5): Not good to say the least - Served quickly. Orange juice was orange squash That we should.have booked the hotel direct and not through booking .com. You duplicated our booking so we paid for a twin room for one adult and a family room for three with a head count of one adult and no children so we paid £198 because we couldn’t make contact with you to cancel and rearrange because of personal circumstances. Jake sorted a room out for us with a promise to help with a free evening meal but the limited menu was not for us so we spent another seventy pounds on a meal of our choice. The bedroom smelt of drains The staff were very helpful except the barman refused to sell us medium glasses of wine either small or large was the only offer which was ridiculous . The lift was ancient and was restricted to two persons. Our room had a view of the air conditioning equipment in a void in the building. Overall the hotel did its best to placate what was a stressful occasion.

Swimming pool needs more attention The room wasn’t clean to standard big stain on the carpet also the fone fell down the back of the bed so we moved it to get the phone and there was vapes and crumbs under the bed so it shown that the housekeepers didn’t pull the beds out

If the weather had been bad, we would have been wet going to breakfast or using the facilities in the hotel.

Alexandra (1/5): Worst hotel I’ve ever seen! - Absolutely nothing This hotel advertises itself as modern looking, but this is very far from the truth: corridors and stairs look like a dungeon, poor lighting, the doors and flooring probably not updated since 1980s. I requested to see the room and when I saw the communal areas I panicked. The room itself should not deserve any more than 2 stars. The staff was rude and said that if I refused the room , they will mark me as a no show and will charge the non-refundable fee through Booking.com. I am currently awaiting for Booking.com to let me know if they stopped the payment from going through. I do not recommend this hotel at all!!!!

MARK (8/5): One night stay.. - Hotel room was clean and quite big for a family room. Breakfast was not bad Full English including vegi. Parking was a bit full but you can park outside on the road. Pool was nice indoor but outside pool was closed. It was a bit of a distance from the pleasure beach but trams were £10 for a family day ticket. Everything was ok...

Kelly (8/5): Lovely hotel - Very big hotel with lots of space in the bar, restaurant and entertainment areas. Good location in the North Promenade with tram stops directly outside the hotel. It also had a pool, jacuzzi pool and steam room which we took advantage of. Other than front of house/dining/entertainment areas on the ground floor, the rest of the hotel was pretty old fashioned and dated. This didn't cause any issues but would look lovely after a modernisation programme. My bed wasn't particularly comfy and would benefit from new mattresses.

Stop serving food at 8pm? Not ideal with kids if you’ve been out all day. Parking - if you use their car park you have to leave your keys - not sure about this from an insurance perspective.

Janelle (10/5): Best family hotel in blackpool - Everything about the hotel was to a high standard. It was lovely and clean. We enjoyed the use of the pool and the entertainment and bingo at night were great. The location was quiet so it was great for family's, and just a 5 minute tram ride to the tower area of blackpool We were on the top floor so there was alot of stairs to climb, the lift only held 2 people and was quite slow but this didnt effect the enjoyment of or stay. Room was rather hot but the beds were comfortable so we still had a great sleep

Agnes (7/5): Staff service was good - Breakfast was delivered in the room when requested. Initially we were given a small room which was suffocating but then got a bigger room when requested, as we had to stay there for 5 nights. Thanks for everything I was more interested to book this hotel because of swimming pool and Jacuzzi, both were nice and warm but it wasn’t that clean. Water wasn’t clean so we had used this facility only once. Plus the room’s carpet was too dusty, due to this we ended up with cold and flu as we are allergic to dust.
