• VacDud (9/5): Hébergement de charme au coeur historique de Bruges - Emplacement idéal pour découvrir le coeur de Bruges, à proximité des principaux sites à visiter, près du centre animé des restaurants, des bars, et en même temps très très calme . Chambre donnant sur un petit bras de canal, vu sur une église. Très propre. Equipement de la cuisine minimaliste mais ce n'était pas un souci. SDB avec douche ET bain. Accueil chaleureux, thé pris dans une salle d'accueil avec du caché, explications données, plan... Bruit du jacuzzi des voisins du dessous en fin d'après-midi (heureusement pas le soir ou la nuit)- L'absence d'offre de petit déjeuner.

• Carlo (10/5): Idyllisch verblijf in het hartje van Brugge - De communicatie en ontvangst met de host is uitstekend. Je voelt je meteen welkom en je krijgt een mooie uitleg over de voorzieningen en de omgeving, alsook uitleg over de bezienswaardigheden in Brugge zelf. Terwijl we rustig konden genieten van een koffietje of een glaasje bubbels op de rooftop. De kamer zelf was fantastisch, erg ruim, proper, voorzien van airco… Het zicht op het water is prachtig. Het is een erg rustige plek waar je je meteen op je gemak voelt. Als er iets is, of je hebt een vraag, de host staat meteen voor je klaar. Een echte aanrader! /

• Celisse (10/5): A little piece of paradise :) - Our stay was absolutely fantastic! Lyne went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The location is beautiful, convenient, and I could sit looking out at the canal for hours. I cannot recommend this place enough! It exceeded all of our expectations.

Thank you! - We loved how friendly Lyne was, she was so welcoming and gave us some really useful information on Brugge! We were also welcomed with a lovely glass of champagne, which was a nice touch. The location of the hotel was also amazing, very close to the centre of Brugge. The room was very spacious, bed was really comfy and the view was amazing. The room was also very warm which was lovely. There was a strange smell in the bathroom, but this was a minor point! We loved our stay overall and would definitely come back.

• Christina (10/5): Room with a view - Peaceful stay in perfect location - Very beautiful Guesthouse. We very much enjoyed our stay at the junior suite. The apartment is spacious, beautifully decorated and very cosy. Beautiful view from the windows. Lyne was a wonderful and very welcoming host. Super convenient location, very close to the church, THE possibly most famous small bridge in Bruges, but still in a quiet side street. We had a very peaceful stay. Would return anytime! There is really nothing not to like. Only small thing was the smell from the bathroom drain. It's an old house and might have been also due to the humid weather during our stay. And water pressure is quite weak.

• Richard (9/5): Brugge is like something from a Disney movie. Such a beautiful, walkable city and this Apt is a 10 - This location is perfect to get out and see the city. Lyne is a delightful host and was extremely thorough in making sure we had everything we needed as well as educating us on what there was to see, and where to eat. Nothing. I would go back again. Such a great place to stay. Parking was offsite and secured, but reasonable for where we were located in the city
• James (10/5): A lovely hidden gem in Bruges - It was in such a lovely area with the view of the canal. A very nice spacious apartment 👌🏼. The bathroom was huge with a his and hers sink. The bed was a super comfortable with loads of space. Within walking distance of a lot of thong to do in Bruges. Our host was very welcoming, we were able to drop our luggage off before check-in. And then they were brought up to our room. Champagne on arrival whilst Lyne went through the map and showed us all the hot spots close to the apartment. We will definitely be booking this again. There was nothing that we didn't like about it.

It would have been nice if the television had been in the sitting area so that if someone wants to watch tv , the other can still go to bed. There was a sewer gas smell coming from the main bath-we just kept that door closed.

• Gyd (10/5): We had a lovely stay and would recommend this location to others. - This is a wonderful small guesthouse with pretty views on a quiet street. It is centrally located so you can easily to explore the city. It is a 15-20 minute walk to the train station. Taxi service is also available. The winding staircase is a little narrow, so we had to struggle a bit to get our big suitcases up to the rooms.

She welcomed us with a glass of champagne on arrival, helped us find good local restaurants and attractions. She even entertained us to breakfast on her rooftop terrace garden one day, at no extra cost. Thank you! The location is excellent - out of the centre, so very quiet and peaceful but just a short walk away from all the best places to visit. Two flights of narrow spiral staircase up to our room was a challenge - no elevator.

Our suite was very comfortable and well-appointed with a great bathroom (terrific shower), excellent climate control and kitchen basics. Our hostess, Lynn, gave us a very warm welome and lots of good advice about things to do in Bruges. The location is wonderful -- close to everything, but on a nice, quiet street away from the crowds of weekend tourists. Can't think of anything.
• Sflass (10/5): You will love your stay in the Canalside House in Bruges - I stayed in the Perle Suite at the Canalside house for 4 nights in mid-May and it was awesome. It is such a beautiful place and Lyne was so kind and helpful. She even did me some special favors and when I wanted to pay her for her trouble she wouldn’t accept any money. The apartment is huge and lovely and the location can’t be beat. And you will love the canal view from the bedroom window. Nothing - The Perle Suite was awesome and Lyne is probably the best host I've ever encountered in all my travels (and I've travelled a lot!)

Much better than we expected it to be. We received a warm and friendly welcome by Lyne, who spent time telling us about good places to visit, offered us some cava, coffee and chocolates. A lovely place and we hope to stay again in future. Convenient private parking just down the road (extra cost, but worth it). Nothing. We loved the whole apartment. Some people might struggle with the narrow spiral staircase leading to the rooms, and no lift but was not an issue for us.

• Monica (8/5): Slow start, but a lovely place - This place has a lovely location, we had a beautiful junior suite with big comfort. Close to everything, but still very qiuet. Good bed, good space, and some appreciated kitchen facilities. Bad lighter in the bathroom though... We arrived a bit early for check-in, but was kindly asked to come back at 2pm when check-in opened. We did because we got up at 3 am, and was in need of a nap. We got a nice glass of champagne, and was taken to a beautiful roof terrace to wait while other guests to be checked in. But as we almost fell asleep, the wait was too long. We finally got to our room at 3.30 pm, but cleaning was not finished, so we had to wait another half an hour. This was of course unfortunate, and not the start we wished for. But overall a lovely place, we would love to come back if the rooms are ready at check-in time.
• Rachael (10/5): The place to stay in Bruges - What a wonderful stay we had last weekend (17/05/19). We were greeted by the host on check-in with a glass of champagne to sit in the window overlooking the canal, she gave us a map and pointed out nearby points of interest. We were then taken upstairs to enjoy our champagne on the roof terrace overlooking the beautiful city of Bruges. What an experience. We were then taken to the Junior Suite on the top floor which consisted of a tastefully decorated double bedroom, kitchen/living area, bathroom with a bath, shower and double sink, and separate toilet. It was much more than we had expected and each window had wonderful views of the canals. So peaceful and so well laid out. In the kitchen there was a microwave, sink, coffee maker and fridge stocked with water, sparking water, Coca Cola, Jupiler beer and a guesthouse special beer, these drinks were replenished free of charge each day. We could not have asked for anything more. But what really made this a great stay was seeing the effort put in to making each guest feel welcome and feel at home. The little details, the umbrellas by the front door, the seat in the window overlooking the canal, the coat hooks by the door, everything is so well thought out, it is clear that the guest comes first and they just want you to have everything you need. Thank you for a wonderful stay - we will be back! Breakfast is not to be missed.
• James (10/5): Location location space! - Can’t beat the location: so close to central attractions, yet just off the beaten tourist path (although tour boats pass by on the Canalside during the day, and horse-drawn carriages on the street side). But on top of that this is much more like renting an apartment then a hotel room, and we thoroughly enjoyed the space. Lyn was very helpful. The optional breakfast was great.

Great space, fantastic Bruges intro and map as we checked in, all just really added to our enjoyment of a short stay over. Easy walk (~15 min) from train station, though over cobblestone!
• D (10/5): Lovely stay in Bruges - My boyfriend and I spent one night at a horrible hotel called Hotel Castillion, and two nights at Canalside House - the contrast couldn't have been greater! We loved this apartment - lots of space, yet still cosy and romantic, and the host was amazing in making sure that we had a great trip. The best feature of this apartment is the view of the canal from every room.
• Paul (10/5): Gem of a guesthouse!! - Absolute gem of a guesthouse. Staff were so friendly and sat with us on arrival to run through areas of interest that they thought we'd like to visit. They book our restaurant and even our taxi back to the station. We couldn't have asked for anymore! Guesthouse was immaculate and in a great walking distance to everything. I could not recommend this place enough!

• Verified traveler (10/5): Canal Side - Very nice accommodation and convenient for town. There was an extra charge for use of the lock up garage which you need to book in advance. Would be good if you want self catering. Breakfast is also charged as an extra. There are bakeries nearby where you can have breakfast if you wish.
• Thomas (10/5): Lovely accommodation in the heart of the city - Absolutely lovely place, rooms far bigger than I was expecting....it was bigger than my first flat! Clean and warm. The owner was very helpful, even allowing us to keep the room until early evening when we had to catch our ferry.
