- Elena (8/5): Could not have worked out better! - Staff was very helpful and kind; rooms exceptionally clean; location great and accessible to LAX; walking distance to strand.
- Hudson (7/5): Staff were friendly and helpful, a good location with cafes and a laundry nearby, more locals. - Close to the beach and walking distant to downtown (15-20 minutes) Manhattan Beach. Bit more of a village feel. Door locks and blinds need to be repaired/upgraded, but not a major issue for me.
- Guest (10/5): Great location; prize was right - Front desk staff were awesome and very helpful. The hotel and rooms are cozy and quaint and maybe a bit dated. But it was exactly as described and we enjoyed being a 3 min walk to the beach, being able to borrow chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards. We didn’t have a vehicle so walked to the pier area for supper and it was a good 10-15 mins. The price was right and we loved this neighbourhood! Felt very safe during day and night!

- mimi (7/5): love manhattan beach! - location was great- at 34th street can walk straight down to the beach. Hotel had chairs, umbrella and towels. The rooms are clean, staff nice and helpful, liked sitting on the balcony with a partial view of the ocean from room 108. Beds were comfortable. We didn’t go in the pool too cold in March, not heated. A couple of restaurants nearby. Great market in the next block to the left that makes sandwiches and salads, has ice cream, beer etc. It is about 25 minute walk to the pier and restaurants and shops. My friend noticed this oddness, too. When I pointed it out and asked why it was on his phone, he said "I don't know".

Small cramped rooms, dirty comforter, terrible pillows, no soap, no shampoo, extremely noisy, and rude front desk management. Avoid unless you are someone who does not care about quality. I checked out early. Terrible customer service, terrible rooms.
- Adriele (1/5): - Very disappointing experience. On February 23–24, 2026, I had a serious issue with two front desk employees (night shift female staff and morning shift male staff). I was charged $25 for parking even though I do not have a car and parking was never discussed. The charge was made after the staff took my credit card. The next morning at checkout, the male employee was rude, raised his voice, and tried to convince me to leave while saying he would “fix it later.” He delayed removing the charge and the hold on my card. Only after I said I would call the police did he process the refund. The situation was stressful and unprofessional. I strongly advise future guests to carefully check their credit card statements and any holds placed on their card to avoid improper charges. Very disappointing.

Grateful for good weather--we bicycled along the beach (thanks to free bicycle rentals at the hotel). Restaurants in the area were incredible--especially Cafe Wild!! Want to give a big shout out to Noe, the hotel clerk at the hotel. He went out of his way to make our stay there comfortable and pleasant. He also gave us tips on how to get around the beach on our bikes. We look forward to coming here again!

The rooms while on the smaller side are wonderfully appointed and I had no idea there was a pool on the property. We will be back very soon.

- Markus (7/5): Entspannte Unterkunft am Pazifik mit einigen Defiziten - Die Lage ist gut, trotzdem es von der Straße her sehr laut ist. Aber man ist halt in wenigen Gehminuten am Strand, bzw. an der weitläufigen Promenade direkt am Pazifik. Je nachdem in welchem Zimmer man wohnt, sieht man das Meer. Strandequipment ist ohne Gebühr vorhanden. Der Ort selbst hat viele schöne Restaurants, Cafés und Geschäfte. Empfehlenswertes Frühstückslokal - rustikal aber lecker - direkt nebenan - das Local Yolk. Es war nach 7 Jahren unser zweiter Aufenthalt dort. Wir hatten auch das gleiche Zimmer wie damals. Leider wurde in der langen Zeit NICHTS renoviert oder erneuert. Der Teppich (!!!) ist alt und fleckig. Ein absolutes NOGO. Das Bad ist ohnehin sehr klein, nun ist es aber auch sehr veraltet, insbesondere die Dusche müsste dringend modernisiert werden. Bei der Buchung hatten wir darum gebeten, möglichst in der oberen Etage untergebracht zu werden. Wir hatten immerhin 7 Nächte gebucht! Bei der Ankunft wurden wir dennoch in der ersten Etage einquartiert, die fast auf einer Ebene mit der Straße liegt. Nach einigem Hin- und Her bekamen wir dann das Zimmer in der zweiten Etage (es gibt insgesamt zwei Etagen) zunächst für die ersten 5 Nächte (später plötzlich doch für die gesamte Zeit) Die Unterkunft war bei weitem nicht ausgebucht und das war kein guter Kundenservice! Eine weitere negative Erfahrung war, dass wir rechtfertigen mussten, warum wir eine weitere Decke benötigten, weil es nachts teilweise sehr kühl war. In Punkto Freundlichkeit und Zuvorkommenheit gegenüber dem Gast ist leider sehr viel Luft nach oben!

No key was left for us when we arrived just before midnight. No way to get assistance. Had to find another hotel. Spoke to hotel next morning after receiving an email with a bill, and another email asking us to rate our stay there. Was told, "An employee made a mistake last night and forget to leave a key. We have reimbursed you for the credit card charge." Incredibly blasé about it. Not even an apology. Makes me wonder how often this happens. Make a late check-in reservation here at the risk of being stranded!!

It was the perfect place for us to extend our layover at LAX and enjoy a night at the beach. Staff were very friendly and we enjoyed the loaner bicycles!

There were 5 of us so we rented the 2 bedroom 1 bathroom unit with kitchen and living room. beds. were comfortable. Great location and very close to the beach. Fantastic market two doors down which makes it convenient for anything you may need.

It is conveniently located about two blocks from the beach. The staff is wonderful! Thank you Eddie, Noe and Tequila. Also, Blanca!! The staff went above & beyond the call of duty to ensure that I enjoyed my stay. They were extremely accommodating and super nice! The rooms are clean and have everything you need for a comfortable stay! I will definitely be booking a room with them soon!! Also, there’s a ton of yummy restaurants and coffee shops that are walkable..! We had the best time!

USB outlets did not work (we were told they needed to be replaced), there was no coffee maker in our unit (we were told they would bring us one but never did), and the blinds kept falling apart.

This is all lies and tantamount to a fraudulent game. The management of the Inn have emailed us several times agreeing to the refund. Booking.com allege they are still awaiting the confirmation from management. The property makes the same allegations that they are waiting for booking.com to confirm. It’s clearly a scam designed to frustrate and defraud. The refund needs to be issued and the games need to end.
- serkan (4/5): - Amazing, quiet location. I wish the hotel was maintained better. It definitely needs a renovation. Let me explain it this way; you take a roadside $60 old motel and put it in Manhattan beach! Thats how the hotel is! Location is amazing but I won’t stay in that hotel again.

When we arrived & walked into the office to check in (4 pm on 10/5) the woman at the front desk was not very friendly. She seemed to have a chip on her shoulder. The hotel itself is very old & has multiple buildings with units located on all 4 corners of the intersection. The updates to the property are like putting lipstick on a pig. It needs more of a renovation instead of just slapping on new tile & flooring. The floors were uneven & they weren't clean. We could feel the fine sand left behind when walking barefoot. We had a room for 5. The place was definitely not worth the price & we won't be coming back.

- ThegeezerPerth (10/5): Great two night stay at the beach . (Close to LAX.) - Recently had a two night stay at this property . I needed two nights to 'chill' after 3 weeks travel in the States before flying back to Australia. I wanted to stay close to LAX without a rental car . As stated in other reviews the hotel could use a refurb and touch up . But my room was clean and it wasn't a huge issue for me . Free bikes and beach gear are available . I made great use of the bikes and rode to Santa Monica one afternoon. I also used the bike to get to restaurants and bars . There's a great breakfast joint next door and a variety of eateries close by . The beach is a 5 minute walk . It's a steep hill . Good cable tv is also included . Not that I spent too long in the room. Manhattan Beach is a very upscale area . I really enjoyed walking along the beach front and checking out the fabulous properties . The front desk was super helpful and accommodating . I had lots of questions . A big shout out to Barbara and Tequila . When I'm next in LA I'll hopefully stay again on the way in or out . The Uber from LAX was around $40 . (Airport fees pushed up the price . It's only about 15 minutes away.) Overall I highly recommend.

I guess they can charge $250/night plus $25/day parking because of being walkable to the beach and cafes. would not stay again at the "No" Sea View Inn
