- luis felipe (5/5): Fui víctima del marketing - En general el hotel es muy agradable las vistas panorámicas, las esculturas, el embarcadero, todo muy lindo. Horrible la comida es muy mala, y se me hizo un error total que en la habitaciones uno tiene que dormir super incómodo con un ventilador porque no tienen aire acondicionado las habitaciones eso si es terrible.
- María Alejandra (9/5): Estancia en El Santuario - Las piscinas, la vista del resort, la comodidad de las habitaciones y el ambiente del personal tan querido y siempre dispuesto a ayudarte. La sesión de cuencos, yoga y pintura, fueron un añadido a la experiencia bastante bueno. Es importante mencionar, que en general está diseñado para no salir de las instalaciones, todo lo tienes adentro. La cancha de tennis necesita arreglo, tienen hoyos. Las raquetas que prestan necesitan actualizarse, están bastante viejas y no rebota ni la pelota. Es importante que las personas de servicio pasen al menos por los pasillos de las habitaciones cada 12h porque vimos platos de room service en el piso y pocillos por bastante tiempo en el piso, todo un día.

- Gabriela (1/5): Bad experience - La verdad, fue una muy mala experiencia y no volvería jamás. Desde el inicio, reservé una de las mejores habitaciones, por lo que esperas que todo funcione correctamente. Sin embargo, el hotel no cuenta con aire acondicionado y tampoco puedes dejar la puerta abierta, ya que entran animales durante la noche. Si tienes comida, la abren y la dejan tirada. Esto lo descubrí al despertar, cuando encontré todo abierto y desordenado. Además, no hay café en la habitación. Tienes que pedirlo al room service, pero solo es posible hacerlo cuando el restaurante está abierto, y aun así hay que esperar aproximadamente 30 minutos. También tuvimos problemas con las actividades. Preguntamos en recepción sobre el temazcal y nos dijeron que no era necesario reservar, solo avisar con una hora de anticipación. Cuando llamamos temprano, nos indicaron que debíamos esperar a que abriera el spa. Más tarde, volvimos a llamar para reservar y nos dijeron que sí, que nos confirmarían en breve, pero nunca recibimos llamada. Cuando insistimos, nos informaron que no era posible porque se requerían al menos 6 personas, algo que nunca nos mencionaron anteriormente. En general, fue una experiencia muy decepcionante, especialmente considerando que se trataba de una de las “mejores” habitaciones.
- Karina (7/5): - El único aspecto verdaderamente rescatable es el personal, quienes fueron sumamente amables y brindaron un trato excelente en todo momento. El hotel tiene potencial por su ubicación, sin embargo, las instalaciones se perciben descuidadas y con falta de mantenimiento, lo cual afecta significativamente la experiencia general. En cuanto a los alimentos, la experiencia fue aún más negativa. La tabla de quesos que se ofreció era de muy baja calidad, con productos que no corresponden a un estándar adecuado para un establecimiento de este nivel. En resumen el servicio y las instalaciones no justifican en absoluto el costo. La relación calidad-precio es deficiente y la experiencia queda lejos de lo que el hotel promete.

There are many activity options on the property such as hiking, tennis, water sports, etc. There are many wonderful things about the property, but if one thing stood out it would be the quality of the food. It's okay but given the amazing restaurant space and outdoor seating overlooking the lake, you expect more.

- Traveleroflife80 (2/5): Very disappointing experience even before arriving - We were considering staying at this property because my partner had a work function scheduled there. We planned to attend together and travel with our two small service dogs. Unfortunately, the quote we received was extremely high and included additional charges that we have never encountered before even when staying at many established 5-star hotels around the world where service animals are typically accommodated without issue. When we called to ask for clarification on the pricing and policies, the interaction with the staff was very unpleasant. The person on the phone was dismissive and unhelpful, which made the experience feel unwelcoming from the start. After this conversation, I looked through other guest reviews and noticed several people mentioning concerns about cleanliness, unpleasant odors, and poor service. Considering the prices being quoted, this was surprising. Based on the pricing structure and the customer service we experienced during the booking inquiry, we ultimately decided not to stay and will be recommending other hotel options in Valle de Bravo for future work events.

However, we weren’t too impressed with the service, especially at the restaurants. The staff were really inattentive and not friendly every time we visited the restaurants. We had to ask many times to get something and it generally felt super disorganized. The prices were very high so you would expect something better. We decided to eat outside of the hotel whenever we could. We also felt a bit pressured to write good reviews at the dinners since they come by your table with a QR code asking for a review. The same process happens at checkout.

El masaje en el spa excelente. Pienso que se desperidician áreas de piscina; los jacuzzis están un poco fríos y del spa, se podrían disfrutar más las zonas húmedas sin necesidad de pagar cada vez que quiera entrar; al ser huesped del hotel debería entrar cuando quiera.

Nos dieron habitaciones con vista al lago, y aunque la vista al lago estaba hermosa, también daba a la parte que parecía ser de servicio del hotel y esa parte se veía descuidada. Una lastima, por que el hotel es hermoso! También aunque las habitaciones están muy lindas... las puertas/ventanas que daban a la terraza se atoraban, daba la impresión de falta de mantenimiento.

La vista desde nuestra habitación daba a una zona dentro del terreno del hotel llena de basura, escombros de construcción, materiales abandonados y áreas totalmente descuidadas. Esto pertenece al hotel, no a un vecino. Además, el área de la alberca y el jacuzzi estaba en pésimas condiciones: sucios, descuidados, con pintura desprendida y un aspecto totalmente alejado de lo que anuncian como un hotel de lujo. Para el precio tan alto que pagamos, todo esto fue inaceptable, antihigiénico y completamente diferente a lo que muestran en las fotos en Booking.com.

Con el dinero que te cobran por absolutamente todo (hasta prender una fogata), lo usas para comprar un pasaje a Cancún y hospedarte en un buen all inclusive. No hay actividades, la comida es carísima y el hotel está alejado de todo, no te queda más que comer allá. No hay razón para cobrar tan caro. La habitación deluxe no corresponde a la imagen de booking, ya que apenas se ve el lago porque está lleno de árboles adelante. Sinceramente, con el dinero que cobran, se puede pasar mucho mejor en Cancún.

Había una cucaracha en el cuarto y detalles de mantenimiento, menores pero no van en relación al precio.
- Michelle (1/5): I’ll never come back - Great views The room was so strange. The wc cabin has a gigant transparent window, no privacy at all. The shower had no ventilation at all or any place to put nothing, not even the towel, only outside the shower space. Not a single place to place your luggage, only one of the 2 people had a place to put the suitcase. To wash your hands you had to cross the room, which was a challenge among the suitcase and the small space beteen the bed and the window. We coyld not open the windows since there was no bug protector. The restaurant was a disgrace, 700 pesos for 3 coffees and a melted cheese which was not even the grams specified in the menu. There was a dog walking around and it was not specifed to be pet friendly

El personal siempre amable. El único pero es que la alberca no está climatizada y eso te quita las ganas de utilizarla. También hace falta más variedad en el menú.
