• Maureen (10/5): Loved our stay in Bergen, including our night at Oleana - Great location. Right in the center of town. Walk was 15-20 minutes from train station. Just down the way there is tram which we could have used to/from train station. Tram #1. We used same tram to get to the airport. Easy to use ticket dispensers with English option. Room clean, very comfortable in historic building. Bathroom was added later. Other customers mentioned concern regarding "clear" shower walls/door. They are glass but have design on them. I could see my husbands feet :) Our room was good size and had lovely balcony right on the square. Had great quiet night of sleep with balcony door open. Very friendly staff/helpful staff. They really aimed to please. Wonderful breakfast. Some burlesque type art on some walls. Non-issue. Its Europe. We did learn in Norway that it is the law that your hotel room doesn't automatically lock when you leave. You have 20-30 seconds when you can re-open the door. If you want your door to immediately lock, use your key card to make it lock.

Śniadania były smaczne i w wystarczającej ilości. Pokoje czyste i dość duże. Zmienił bym łóżka na trochę większe i bardziej wygodne. Widok z okna na podwórko oraz balkony naprzeciwko mało komfortowy. Brak możliwości otworzenia okna.

Good location Room was small with very limited storage space. Room was at the front and had triple glazing which worked effectively but the street noise of late evening and early morning party goers meant it wasn't possible to have the windows open at night. The room had limited lighting and needed the curtains drawn across as there was no other privacy and therefore the room was quite dark

• Sarah (10/5): Brilliant hotel to stay in for a few days in Bergen - Excellent location, staff are fabulous, very clean hotel with a good breakfast. Size of the hotel is great. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. The room at the back was very warm with sealed windows that can’t be opened. We were straight away offered an alternative with no fuss. Ask for a room with windows you can open if this is important to you.
