The service was outstanding right from the moment we arrived. Staff immediately met us at the taxi to handle our luggage, and on checkout day, they were equally attentive — insisting on transporting our luggage all the way to the waiting taxi. Throughout our stay, communication with the concierge and front desk via WhatsApp was incredibly quick, easy, and efficient. The hotel itself is stunning. The lobby features beautiful contemporary art, a striking Laurence Jenkell sculpture, elegant orchid displays, and a warm, luxurious ambiance. Our room was impeccable, with a modern marble bathroom and a fantastic rain shower. What really stood out was how warm and personable the entire staff was — from the general team to the friendly team at the breakfast restaurant. Everyone made us feel genuinely welcome. Breakfast on the terrace was delicious (the waffles with fresh fruit were a highlight!), and the personal touch that made our anniversary extra special was receiving a beautiful heart-shaped cake with a thoughtful handwritten note from the Butler Team congratulating us. The St. Regis Istanbul delivers five-star luxury with heartfelt, attentive service. - yongxiang (2/5): a disappointed stay - I am sharing this review to help future guests set realistic expectations, particularly those familiar with luxury hotels or loyal to the St. Regis brand. As a Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador Elite member, this stay was disappointing across multiple dimensions. Pre-arrival requests were submitted in advance but were not accommodated, including early check-in and room upgrade, and there was no proactive communication or explanation upon arrival. The overall check-in experience felt transactional rather than welcoming, with little recognition of loyalty or guest history. Throughout the stay, service delivery was inconsistent. Several basic service elements required follow-up, and issues that should have been anticipated in a luxury property were instead handled only after being pointed out. At times, the experience felt understaffed or poorly coordinated, which is particularly noticeable during a holiday period when guests rely more heavily on hotel service quality. Attention to detail — a defining characteristic of the St. Regis brand — was largely missing. Interactions lacked warmth and polish, and there was little sense of personalized care. For guests expecting refined service, seamless execution, and elevated hospitality, this gap is significant. To be fair, the hotel’s General Manager later reached out with an apology, and Marriott’s Ambassador team has been professional in following up. However, based on the stay itself, the property currently does not consistently deliver the level of experience one would reasonably expect from a St. Regis hotel, especially compared with other Marriott luxury properties. The location and hardware are strong, but service culture and operational execution require meaningful improvement. Travelers choosing this hotel for a special occasion or expecting a flagship St. Regis experience may wish to carefully consider their expectations.

- AmexCenturionEmir (6/5): Central Location, Kind Staff, but Clear Operational Gaps - Central Location, Kind Staff, but Clear Operational Gaps We stayed at the Centrigis Hotel Istanbul recently and have known the property for many years – our last stay before this one was around six years ago. The location remains one of the hotel’s strongest points. If you want to stay right in the Nişantaşı area, close to boutiques, cafés, and city life, it doesn’t get much more central or convenient. The staff, without exception, were friendly, polite, and genuinely well-intentioned. Security at the entrance feels solid, and it is noticeable that many team members remember returning guests and address people by name, which is always appreciated. This is still a hotel with a good atmosphere and a loyal team. That said, the hotel itself is clearly showing its age. The rooms and common areas feel somewhat worn and would benefit from a proper refresh. Some details, like the decorative flower arrangement in the breakfast room, appear unchanged for many years and give the impression that updates have been postponed for too long. A light renovation or redesign would make a significant difference and bring the property back to the level its location deserves. Unfortunately, the main issue of our stay was administrative rather than physical. Our booking was made through American Express Centurion and included a 300 USD hotel credit. Upon arrival, the front desk was not aware of this and mentioned only a 100 USD credit. We clarified this by phone after checking into the room, and were told it would be reviewed. At check-out, the same confusion happened again. Despite explaining the situation once more, our final bill still does not reflect the full 300 USD credit. Looking at the invoice, it appears that only 100 USD was applied. This is simply not acceptable. While the staff was polite throughout, it is not the guest’s responsibility to repeatedly monitor, correct, and follow up on confirmed benefits – especially after they have been acknowledged at reception. We contacted the hotel again after departure regarding this issue but, as of now, have not received a response. For a hotel of this category, prompt and clear communication in such cases is essential. On a positive note, the rooftop restaurant is enjoyable and worth visiting, especially for a drink or light meal. Breakfast is good, and when the outdoor terrace is open, it adds a very pleasant atmosphere to the morning. In summary: excellent location, kind and professional staff, good breakfast and rooftop dining – but the hotel urgently needs cosmetic updates and, more importantly, much better internal coordination when it comes to bookings, benefits, and billing. The staff here was the same, amazing staff - anticipated all our needs from having an afternoon Turkish coffee waiting for us, the restaurant staff ensuring that I had my drink of choice ready to go, just kudos to the entire staff. - Decor: really cool art deco setting that has aged very well. - Restaurant: breakfasts are amazing, so much food that we had to ask for less starting day 2! Dinner was also great. - Location: you're not in the old part of the city, so if that's a must then you may want to look elsewhere. But if you're OK taking a car service to most places and want a quiet upscale neighborhood then this is a great location. - Spa: never had a Turkish bath/scrub before and it was awesome. I could go on and on but everything was amazing here. Cons: That we couldn't stay longer. If you're looking for an amazing stay in Istanbul - look no further. Needless to say, we will be back.

- amafrimpomaao (10/5): St Regis lives up to its name….elegant, welcoming and friendly. - I had an excellent stay at this premises. Top notch service from check in to check out. On arrival I was welcomed by a polite, lovely young man called Eren Ozkaya who was so accommodating with my requests for a large room with a beautiful view, although they had high occupancy he did his best for me. Ask for his services….he’s a treasure to St Regis. I was taken up to my room by my private butler Esra ( I know so posh). He was very helpful and assured me if I needed any further assistance not to hesitate to call. My room was so spacious and so well equipped. The Spa services were excellent! Dinner at the Brasserie didn’t go well…..the service was bad. Their focus is for those dinning outside and not to much the few inside the restaurant. My salmon was undercooked but they offered me to make another choice and didn’t charge for certain items on my bill. I also had dinner at Spago on the 7th floor and they were excellent…..5 star for food and service. At check out Ercan and Eren ensured I had a pleasant stay. Anil the concierge helped me take my luggage downstairs and to my waiting taxi. At check out o was presented with parting gifts which were souvenirs from St Regis. The ambiance was amazing! I have had the best stay here and cannot wait to return with my family.

We do wish the ending was just as great, but we are grateful ! - We recently stayed at The St. Regis Istanbul on October 22–23, 2025, and this was truly one of the best St. Regis experiences we’ve ever had. We travel frequently, for reference, this was our 14th country this year and service is something we really value. From the moment we arrived, the bellmen, front desk team, and restaurant staff were beyond exceptional. The entire property was immaculate, secure, and welcoming. The butler service was attentive and available around the clock, and the team at the Brasserie went above and beyond when I wasn’t feeling well after a medical procedure. They even prepared a special clear chicken broth for me that wasn’t on the menu due to my current diet, completely complimentary, just to make sure I was taken care of. Gestures like that truly reflect the St. Regis brand at its best. Unfortunately, our otherwise perfect stay ended on a disappointing note at checkout. I had been delayed at the hospital, was in surgery, and my partner called ahead to let the hotel know we would return closer to 6 p.m. (our stay included a 4 p.m. checkout). Upon arrival, Duty Manager Burak Demiray and Front Desk Manager Esra were unprofessional and dismissive. Burak spoke to us in a rude manner, refused to allow us to use our remaining $100 credit even after learning I had just come from a medical procedure, and made comments that left me feeling disrespected. To make matters worse, when I asked for his full name, he gave a false one, later confirmed by another staff member, and Esra stated she couldn’t give me his real name because she “was scared to get fired,” explaining she had only worked there a month. That was deeply concerning and not reflective of the respectful, luxury-level service we experienced from everyone else at the hotel. It’s unfortunate that this encounter overshadowed what was otherwise an incredible stay. Because of it, we chose not to return after our trip to Cappadocia and stayed elsewhere instead.Despite that ending, I want to acknowledge the majority of the staff especially the Brasserie restaurant team and bellmen for delivering such world-class hospitality. This property has so much potential, and I truly hope leadership addresses the issues at the front desk so future guests receive the consistent five-star experience St. Regis is known for.
- Vladislav (9/5): add children's slippers in room - There were very tasty breakfasts and excellent staff in the restaurant. I didn't like the person who met us at the reception desk upon check-in. He was very tense and arrogant. He couldn't process my card payment at one terminal and started saying they only accept credit cards, not debit cards. He eventually tried another terminal, which worked, but his receipt got chewed up and he kept us waiting. Finally, I said, "Can I have my card?" and we'll go because the payment went through. The woman at the spa reception was also very abrupt when she ran up to us and, in a raised voice, told us we had 10 minutes and needed to leave. She hadn't said anything beforehand. The next day, another girl calmly warned us that we had an hour in the pool. Train your senior staff in polite European communication in English. Because the waiters, even the woman who delivered towels and water, speak calmly and in a soft tone.

Staff was more busy looking on their phones than paying attention to the guests. - The place is quit outdated and not maintained very well. The rooms and facilities are old and don't meet the 5* level at all. - Breakfast is nice but quit limited - The dishes are extremely overpriced. Almost €20 for a kids pasta meal.
- Olga (9/5): Хороший отель - Очень внимательный персонал, чистые просторные номера, вкусный ресторан, замечательный завтрак по меню, удобное расположение-на одной улице с бутиками и ресторанами, оживленный район с приятной публикой. Единственный (несущественный) минус- отель расположен вблизи стадиона, на котором часто проводятся концерты, это немного слышно в комнате даже при закрытых окнах.
- 988zakiw (2/5): Hotel refuses to pay back one of double payments made to one room. - Hi I stayed at St Regis in January this year. My reservation was done through a European travel agency who was paid in full. I made an error with the reservation. Instead of January, I wrote February. I checked into the hotel with my wife upon arrival and were not told about the reservation wrong date. The next day the hotel called me and said the travel agency refuses to pay for our stay. I called the agency through the hotel reception and they said we shall honour to pay for the stay cost in February only. So I agreed with the hotel manager to pay the hotel for our stay again with the condition that if they receive the funds from the travel agency, the hotel shall transfer that back to me. It’s been eight months since they confirmed receiving the funds and at the same time refusing to reimburse me with one of the payments that I made. Currently I double paid for my stay, and the hotel is refusing to reimburse me with one of the payments. Please advise on what I need to do to get my money back.

- Nasser (9/5): - The staff all The worst thing is taking the hotel's garbage at 3:00 AM early in the morning and the sounds of the garbage containers being emptied into the municipality's truck are loud and sometimes very loud and frightening. This happens most nights.
