• Abigail (10/5): - This place is amazing! Right in the heart of things but it feels like a little oasis from the craziness of walking street. There’s so much greenery wrapping around the cafe, it feels like a jungle. The food and drinks are fantastic and the staff are really attentive and kind. Welcome mango smoothie when we arrived was a lovely surprise and just what we needed. They let us leave our bags by reception since we arrived on the island too early to check in. The breakky menu is very Aussie friendly with eggs and bacon etc. Theres even a little library and lounge area which is open to the island breeze and surrounded by glorious bright green creeping plants, a great place to take 5 and get your bearings. The rooms are cleverly laid out with complimentary water and huge comfy beds with air con and a nice clean bathroom. THANK YOU TO THE REEF HOTEL STAFF ❤️

Found a cockroach in my bathroom and the room was full of mosquitos :( The breakfast was amazing, so good! The staff was polite and nice, they helped me with the cockroach. Unfortunately I couldn’t get in contact with them through their emergency line. The hotel has a garden/jungle vibe so if you, like me, don’t like insects etc I wouldn’t stay here.

Quiet at night, had air con, safe, fridge. Bed maybe too hard for many people and pillow very firm. TV in rooms didn’t work (Why bother having a tv then? News channel would be good) but you could watch a dvd. We made a mistake whilst booking and they kindly accommodated us and we really appreciated this customer service. It’s a cute little place. Breakfast is the best we’ve ever had at a hotel which is served in the gorgeous cafe/restaurant next door, Mojo’s. every dish is beautifully presented and tastes amazing! We also had lunch here. Great find!

• Christian (4/5): zum schlafen ungeeignetes Hotel - Der Service ist sehr gut, die Zimmer sind vernünftig gross und sauber, das Bett gross und bequem. Leider war dies auch alles was uns gefallen hat und wir können die durchweg positiven Bewertungen gar nicht nachvollziehen. Das Hotel hat scheinbar ein Abwasserproblem und somit hat man vor allem im Badezimmer einen stetigen Geruch von fauligem Wasser, der auch im Zimmer zu riechen ist. Das schlimmste ist jedoch, das das Hotel direkt neben einem stark befahrenen Weg liegt auf dem ab 6:30 Uhr morgens alle 15 Sekunden ein laut knatterndes Motorrad vorbeifährt. An schlafen ist dann nicht mehr zu denken. Die Wände des Zimmers sind leider sehr dünn, so dass wir zudem auch unsere Nachbarn vor dem Zimmer sehr laut gehört haben. Für uns war das alles nach 2 Nächten zu viel, dass wir obwohl für 4 Nächte gebucht hatten, vorzeitig ausgecheckt haben und uns ein ruhigeres Hotel am Strand gesucht haben.

Excellent breakfast at Mojo. Bathroom smelled quite bad. Our floor was dirty. We had white slippers on and they got pretty dirty because of the floor.. Also there were sometimes ants on the bed and on the wall.

We paid extra for a family to have some space as they couldn’t accommodate twin beds on the level we required, which was fair. The front office had a cute cat, but he had obviously left his calling card somewhere. Bathroom smelt of sewage and could of done with the drains cleaning. The room wasn’t serviced well which didn’t help, especially as the bathroom wasn’t in a position to be left. Air con worked well and breakfast although limited, was delicious. They did lend towels and mats to take to the beach which was nice. I would shop around if I was visiting Koh Lipe again.

Bagno grande e doccia calda. La tv lasciamola spenta...solo canali thai...ma siamo a koh lipe ! • Verified traveler (8/5): pleasant stay! - We're definitly happy with the hotel service, everything was good. we stayed for 6 days, complimentary with free breakfast. but there are certain things that we need to comment: 1. it would be nice if the breakfast have halal choice since it is next to the muslim mosque. 2. flies hanging around at the breakfast area alot. should put insects repellent/pest device or anything similar. 3. we took the basic aircond/fan room, it was nice. but the there's no channels available to watch. lucky the provide dvds for us. but overall is good! we would definitely stay there again! bed was super comfy! location wise is near to walking street. they send us using the motobike to the pier. and FREE wifi & breakfast. thank you for the service!

Great service and breakfast as well. Booked a tour through the hotel and glad we took their recommendation to not do the seafood buffet. Would gladly stay here again.
• Cassandra (10/5): Everything you need - We really loved this place. The room we had was quite small, it fits a king bed and a spacious bathroom. But it had fast wifi, a large tv, great AC, a fridge and two bottles of water a day. They also allowed a lste check-out. We wanted to extend our stay, but they were nice enough to tell us that they would be doing renovations for the next 2 days. We booked a more expensive place on the beach elsewhere which doesnt have half of their services or the cleanliness. We wanna go back to The Reef. The front desk lady was very nice and drove us to our next hotel. I highly recommend for couples, solo traveler or 2 friends traveling together. 2 min walk from the night attractions/walking street.

• Paul (6/5): Small and hot room, but great location and staff! - The standard rooms are very small and extremely warm with only a fan. But the staff was very helpful with booking onward travel (ladies even drove us to the docks to catch our ferry) and the location can't be beat. Right by all 3 of the beaches. Shared bathroom wasn't too bad either, as there were 2 toilets and 2 showers (separated into cubicles) for a few rooms, so never had to wait for the toilet. Would stay again, but only if we had air conditioning.
• Chong (6/5): To be improve !!! - I was chosen the budgeted rooms which is did not applicable for air-conditioner and the room is without washroom inside but it condition was clean & comfortable & a safety locker for use. Unfortunately, the shared bathroom had a little bit dirty & no water heater ! I'll stay again for next and hope the management may get improve for this little matters.
• Thomas (8/5): A Great Stay at The Reef - Overall, a great stay at The Reef. The location was perfect, just a couple of minutes from the walking street and midway between both Pattaya and Sunrise beaches. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly and willing to help us organise our stay on the beautiful island, as well as our onwards travel. The room was on the small side, but very clean and perfect for what we needed. We had a fan room, and the lack of air conditioning did not seem a problem as the room seemed to stay consistently cool. We would definitely recommend this hotel and return in the future.
• mike (10/5): Not bad - Booked one night here to have a place when we arrived. Room was ok a bit small, just a fan room and no hot water, bed was hard, but I like that. Staff were great. It was the off season so lots of good deals around.
