- Michael (4/5): - The receptionist did the least she could do while remaining professional and courteous. The room was very small, and in the morning we were told as we hadn't ordered breakfast, we couldn't have it. There is nowhere nearby to buy breakfast. As a aHotels com VIP member, I was told the car park was full, so no free parking, and no room upgrade was offered. Why bother?? Lastly this hotel is a long way from the town centre, actually, it's a long way from anything! This is my first really bad review of any hotel

- Gill (10/5): Recommended - The receptionist was very pleasant and we were able to securely park our motorbikes and leave protective clothing and bags at noon. We returned later to check in properly and everything went well. The room is comfortable, the bed huge and the roof terrasse stunning. Slight downsides were the quality of the toilet paper and tissues and exterior noises from 6am (we were on the ground floor) Pleasing things were the soft bedding, proper coffee machine, real water glasses and coffee cups and convenient location.
- claude (10/5): Très bon séjour - Hôtel bien placé près du centre ville sans en avoir les inconvénients; avec parking. Possibilité de se garer à l'extérieur. Personnel disponible et aimable. Chambre confortable.
- Benoît (4/5): À éviter - La situation est correcte de même que la taille et confort de la chambre familiale réservée même si vue côté parking.Les chiens sont les bienvenus. L’eco responsabilité est le point fort. L’état général est plutôt fatigué et la salle de pdj en sous sol est trop petite. La propreté de notre chambre à l’arrivée était horrible et ma femme a préféré gérer la propreté du lieu pendant le séjour. Le service est très hétérogène au niveau des personnes croisées. De l’amabilité mais également beaucoup d’incompétence et souvent aucune véritable préoccupation du client.Tendance confirmée par les autres clients qui partageaient notre avis avec un peu de dérision et d’impuissance Surtout qu’avec ce niveau de qualité globalement inférieur à un 3 étoiles déjà peu exigeant le prix devient exhorbitant. Enfin malgré nos plaintes exprimées sur place la direction est aux abonnés absents ce qui explique la prestation qui impacte l’image et la réputation best western versus notre expérience très positive au Canet plage certes avec une direction au top
- Erik (10/5): Flott opphold i Arcachon - Hadde et fint opphold på Best Western i Arcachon (4 netter). Fint rom med stor og god seng. Wi-Fi på hotellet var imidlertid tregt og fungerte for dårlig. Veldig fin og god frokost. Fin takterasse. Hyggelig og serviceinnstilt personale. God parkering på sikret område.
- Thilo (8/5): durchaus eine Option - Zimmer mit Balkon war gut, wenn auch sehr klein, Gepäck ist da schon im Weg. Zimmerservice mit Intervallen. Habe von BW nach dem check in die Bewerbung der rooftopbar erhalten, ebenso wird das auf der homepage des Hotels beworben, diesen Service gibt es aber schon lange nicht mehr. DAs Hotel hat darauf lt. Aussage keinen direkten Einfluss.

- NEVEU (6/5): Séjour pas au top - Nous sommes mitigés sur l'avis à donner sur notre séjour. L'hôtel est confortable, la chambre assez spacieuse (chambre deluxe). Le rooftop est sympa. Le café et thé sont à volonté dans le salon du RDC. Par contre le personnel n'est pas des plus aimable. En effet, lorsque nous sommes arrivés, en tant que membre silver Hôtels.com, le parking était gratuit. Il a fallu que j'insiste car le réceptionniste (un stagiaire) ne me croyait pas. Quand nous sommes entrés dans notre chambre, des outils traînaient sur le meuble du lavabo et des serviettes étaient jonchées sur le sol. Je suis redescendue à la réception où j'ai trouvé le technicien qui m'a dit qu'il devait finir de déboucher la canalisation et changer le siphon. Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre à maintes reprises. Car nous aurions préféré une chambre avec vue sur mer qui était sans supplément mais qu'il aurait fallu préciser au moment de la réservation (dixit la réceptionniste blonde). Après vérification, il s'avère que des chambres étaient disponibles, mais personne n'a daigné nous en faire bénéficier malgré nos demandes, alors que nous sommes restés 3 nuits. L'homme de ménage venait d'être embauché, de même que la serveuse du petit déjeuner. Le personnel semblait débordé alors qu'il n'y avait quasiment personne. La deuxième nuit, le lit n'a même pas été refait, la housse de couette a juste été remontée vite fait. Et les draps n'ont jamais été changés. Ce qui est sûr c'est que nous n'y retournerons pas.

- Thilo (8/5): Durchaus wieder - Grosses komfortables Zimmer im 3. Stock mit Blick auf das Bassin d Arcachon. Zimmer wie Bad konnte man mit Schiebetüren zum Balkon öffnen, sehr fein. Schlafkomfort ruhig trotz Strassenlage. Tolle Dachterrasse, leider nicht in Betrieb, das ist extrem schade. Kontinentales Frühstück im Keller hat mich nicht überzeugt.

- Thomas (4/5): A hotel for only french spoken - We booked a superior room and got a tiny room towards the street. According to the escape plan it was the smallest room i the building! The receptionist didn't speak any english. The room was dusty with dirty surfaces and so small it was hard to walk around the bed. The add said soundproof but you could hear the neighbour fart.

Rent o snyggt.Frukost serverades från 07:00 men varken yoghurt, bröd eller ägg o bacon var framme. Först Vid 7:30 var frukostbordet komplett.

- ERIC (4/5): - Ce n'est pas digne d'un best western ! Ce ne vaut pas la classe de cette chaine, c'est une tromperie. Le petit déjeuné se fait dans un sous sol clos, très serré et très bruyant, avec des croissant à la margarine rassis. On a qu'une seule envoie c'est de partir vite. le petit déjeuner doit être un moment calme et privilégié lorsque l'on est en vacance. Le prestation ressemble à celle d'un hôtel pas cher pour une nuit de passage un jour de travail. Pas de place dans les chambres pour mettre les valises, ni pour ranger les affaires, pas plus pour poser un ordinateur. Ma plus mauvaise semaine de vacances pour l'hébergement.

- Florian (8/5): Bon séjour - Hôtel situé à proximité du port, dans un quartier calme et avec quelques commerces de proximité (boulangerie, loueur de vélo, ...). Le centre-ville est un peu loin (10 minutes à pied pour la gare, 15 minutes à pieds pour l'hyper centre et la jetée Thiers), tout comme les principales plages d'Arcachon (Pereire, Abatilles à plus de 30 minutes). Hôtel propre et accueillant dans son ensemble, gros point positif pour les balcons des chambres, notamment au au 3e étage avec vue sur le bassin. La chambre était plutôt spacieuse et bien équipée. Personnel accueillant, à l'écoute, disponible et arrangeant.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Comfortable quiet hotel - nice location - Very pleasant hotel - room with balcony, 5 mins to beach, staff friendly and helpful, pleasant breakfast. Secure parking.
- Yan (10/5): - Great hotel in the city, very clean all the rooms are brand new, small rooms but well appointed, the breakfast had everything you need, and the staff super friendly. Parking is available for 10 euros/night. Excellent value.
- A (8/5): - In a quiet area, about 15-20 minutes walk to the centre of the town. There are bars and restaurants closer. Arcachon is a fabulous place, lovely beaches, gorgeous town with quality shops and restaurants. This hotel is very modern, clean and comfortable. Standard double room (and its bathroom) is quite small though and ours was directly onto the placement and road outside. Reception is also reminiscent of a medical waiting room.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Should really be The Little Grand Atlantic Hotel - Hotel is certainly Grand in ambition but not in size so dont expect a substantial building but do expect everything to be very well done & every square centimetre to be put to good use. Under most owners this would be a shabby 2 star hotel but it shows you what a bit of imagination & vision can do as this place really punches above its weight..
- Donna (10/5): Comfy hotel close to beach - Very clean, close to beach, comfy bed, good bathroom with great shower, good breakfast, friendly staff. Good roof terrace, quiet. Some other small scale amenities at the hotel, but the beach and town are the main reason to stay in Arcachon anyway.
- Jim (10/5): Perfect stay in Aranchon - Nice clean modern hotel, good sized room, friendly staff, aircon and possibly the best breakfast we have had in france, especially if you have been missing bacon. Only a short walk to the beach, bars and restaurants but far enough away to be quiet.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Don't be fooled by the stars... - 4-star hotel?!! Three would be already a gift. I'm 5'5" and I could barely fit in the room. To leave the bed, I had to crawl in order to find more space. AC didn't work - it it was 80F outside. Awful night.
- Margaret (8/5): Family Easter trip - Great weather for walking and sailing, loads of restaurants, amazing beaches, good energy. Sun terrace on roof good for relaxing after lunch in town.
- Margaret (8/5): Family Easter break - First time in this location, ideal for walking along the boardwalk into the town, lots of restaurants. I came here with my family, so 3 generations visiting for the first time. The Port area is also worth visiting.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice Hotel - Nice hotel near the marina in Arcachon with a mini kitchen. New facility, and clean. Only issue was the very small rooms similar in size to a cruise ship room.
- Eric (8/5): Clean hotel - I find the front desk staff a little snobbish but at the end accommodating. After been told that there is no restaurant near by unless I walk to the station or downtown ( by the concierge) I ordered a pizza delivered to my room because I was exhausted. The day after I find a restaurant hotel next door; 25 metres away..."The Ostrei" that seems pretty good. I don't understand why they didn't mentioned it?
- sadie (10/5): Small, modern decor, near port, 20 min from centre - Very helpful staff, fresh modern decor, small but well furnished balcony. A pool would have made for perfection. Roof terrace provided another option for sunbathing.
