- René (9/5): Soggiorno idillico in un contesto meraviglioso - Ci siamo trovati molto bene in questa struttura alberghiera. Personale molto cortese e disponibile in tutti i settori, compresi i due ristoranti (uno in albergo e l'altro più tipico verso il centro del paese della Gruyere prima di entrare nel castello). La nostra camera con balcone era super tranquilla con grande panorama e vicino si vedevano i cervi e camosci. Camera spaziosa e comoda con ottimi materassi. Ottima colazione variata anche con salmone e le mitiche meringhe con la doppia panna della Gruyere! Consiglio di visitare il castello e il museo tibetano, unico nel suo genere. Non voglio dire che non mi é piaciuto, sarebbe scorretto; ma qualche posteggio nella struttura in più non sarebbe male per comodità, anche se vicino c'é un posteggio pubblico a pagamento.

Below us you could see and hear the bells from the cows. The property is just outside the city walls so it was an easy walk to everything yet far enough to get away from the crowds. The staff were very welcoming. Would 100% stay here again.

All you can eat breakfast was also a highlight, it was handmade including local products The room didn’t seem to be properly clean, plus it was extremely humid and warm. The walls had some sign of damp due to it. Opening the windows will reduce the temperature but it will allow the sunlight to enter the room from very early in the morning. It was challenging to sleep under these circumstances

La vista dalla nostra camera era invece minima. Buona la colazione. La camera dove abbiamo soggiornato non era una camera per due persone, a parer mio era una camera singola con un letto da una piazza e mezza. Impossibile muoversi in due, Lo spazio era insufficiente anche solo per appoggiare i bagagli. Solo un comodino. Armadietto per abiti largo 50 cm. con la porta che apre verso la testata del letto. Il bagno sarebbero da rivedere, per esempio l'asse del water era molto ingiallito non piacevole da utilizzare. Struttura tutta un po' invecchiata da rinfrescare sotto molti aspetti.

- Karin (6/5): - Die Lage des Hotels ist super. Die Nähe zum Dorf. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich . Das Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis passt nicht überein. Das Mobiliar ist alt und ungepflegt. Es gab keine Ablage für die Garderobe. Die Abflüsse im Badezimmer sind komplett verschmutzt. Das Duschen in der Wanne solte durch eine Antirutschmatte erleichtert werden. Die Decke im Bad hat Schimmelflecken. Der Lüfter war defekt. Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig.

- Deysi (8/5): - L'hotel est bien localisé à l'entrée de Gruyère, vu que le village fait grosso modo 500m de long vous accéderez donc facilement à tous les lieux touristiques. Le petit déjeuner est aussi bien copieux et beaucoup de choses sont proposées. Il n'y a que 8 places de parking non réservables, premier arrivé, premier servi. Avec 30 chambres dans l'hotel pour seulement ces 8 places, vous avez toutes les chances de ne pas trouver de place. Il vous faudra donc utiliser le parking public au pied de l'hotel (payant entre 8h et 18h, 2CHF par heure) si vous y trouvez des places car là aussi ce n'est pas gagné, le parking est très rapidement complet ! Et dans ce cas de figure, vous devrez vous garer sur un autre parking plus bas (mais aussi moins cher 1CHF par heure entre 8h et 18h)

Die Lage vom Hotel ist sehr gut, direkt beim Eingang vom Städtchen und somit ruhig gelegen. Wir konnten kostenlos beim Hotel parkieren, direkt unterhalb vom Hotel wäre aber sogar ein grosser Parkplatz. Das Frühstück hat unsere Erwartungen absolut übertroffen. Alles war frisch zubereitet und wirklich einfach nur grossartig! Das Zimmer war recht klein. Duschvorhang im Badezimmer dürfte ausgewechselt werden.

Breakfast was delicious and consisted of some of the local specialties and home made treats, which was a pleasant bonus. Staff are friendly and very helpful - special thanks goes to Anna at the reception desk for her warm hospitality, helpful tips and general good humor. Interactions with her made all the positive difference in our stay. Perhaps something can be done to improve soundproofing in the rooms, as you can definitely hear other guests checking into their rooms in the common areas.
