Curățenia cam lasă de dorit , era praf ,la baie nu era suport pt hârtia igienica ,o pusese pe capacul de la gunoi, la cada se vedea mucegaiul,mizeria cum s-a strâns de la apa..., prosoapele pe care îți pui picioarele era imbacsite ( la celelalte nici nu m-am uitat ca nu m-a interesat ) , micul dejun slab , nu erau fructe,suc , cafeaua era la cafetiera( la alte hoteluri iti fac cafea turceasca ) ,am stat 3 zile si în fiecare zi a fost cam aceeași mâncare..nu aveai prea multe de ales.. hotelul nu este de 4 stele, poate maxim 2 si plus ca pereții sunt foarte subțiri ( am avut niste vecini gălăgioși care au reușit sa ne tina treji pana la 2 noapte ..) , mobila mai este lipita si cu scotch..
kenanGazi (2/5): WORST HOTEL IN ISTANBUL - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. This "hotel" is easily the worst hotel in Istanbul and also VERY dangerous to stay in. Live electrical wires hanging out everywhere in the room, lights flicker and some don't even work and the room smells of old food some of which we found in the fridge on our arrival from a previous customer. Toilet seat broken amongst other things in the room. Beds very uncomfortable and almost impossible to sleep on. The room was freezing in the middle of the night and reception refused to turn the heaters even though we have a 10 year old daughter staying in the room. Breakfast is pathetic and very minimal and nothing like the photos. Staff not interested in the problems in the room or the entire hotel and to top it all off the hotel scammed us out of 40 euros for a taxi that was included in the stay even though I showed them proof from Booking.com.

Muhammad (10/5): Great stay. Kind staff. - Location and the view from the room. It was great stay. Dont have basic refreshments such as kettle, tea and creamer. Instead we need to ask them everytime we need it. that make it burdensome between guest and staff.
Catalin (6/5): Pleasant - The location is excellent, but it is the only advantage of this hotel. The restaurant next door, Osman Gourmen, is worth a visit, good food, excellent service, good prices, for Istanbul where everything is overpriced. :) It is a modest hotel, which is overrated with 4 stars, 25 years in operation, but it seems that the investments are still from then. The room doors are broken, they move from the wall, the TVs do not work, the refrigerators are more for decoration, I had hot water twice in 4 days, but only until 8 am. The breakfast is a joke and I am not a picky person, believe me. Parking is not 6 euros per hour, as it says on the website, but is negotiated from a minimum of 12 euros, that is if you are more naughty than the man at the public parking lot.

Karen (8/5): - The only issue with this property is that it is a bit tired in places as we went at the end of the season but the good price reflected this. The location was fabulous and the view from the Suites is incredible. The breakfast was very good compared to some of the others. What was very special though was the owner greeted us on arrival and spent a lot of time going through the map of the area and explaining what was where and how best to make the most of our limited time in Istanbul. I would stay here again as it was excellent value for money - and the view from room is one I will never forget!

Airport transfer is free, it is great they told me that in the welcoming message. They start serving breakfast at 3:30am which was handy in my case, since I had to be in the airport at 4:00.

Jana (9/5): A perfect little hotel for a short stay in Istanbul! - The lady at the reception was extremely nice and friendly and made us coffee every night. Also the location of the hotel is just perfect, it's only a three minute walk to the Blue Mosque and the Sultan Ahmed tram station. You can hear all the noise from the neighbors' rooms and also from the surrounding mosques all night long. Also they only cleaned our room the first two nights.

Rizwan (8/5): - Staff are exceptional, very supportive. The room sizes are not as large as shown in pictures. Room need slots of cosmetic work. There are water stains in bathrooms. Neither the rooms nor the common area has microwaves. So, we had to request the staff to provide warm water throughout our stay. Having ability to warm up water by the guests themselves is very important, especially, if there are young children. The staff were more than supportive and very helpful.
262lakhdark (10/5): Vacation in istanbol - I Would like to share with you a story happened to me in hotel lausos, I selected by random but when I went there I found really very prettly helpful man, my young son had birthday during his vacation they prepared for him party and gave him present it was nice day for him and also they help really for everything they spent with time to explain the location. The location of hotel is really strategic you are surrounded of symbolic touristic you don't need to make plan to go over there. Thea Warburg (6/5): Dårlig oplevelse - Hotellet var gammelt og meget slidt, løse stikkontakter, mangle pære i lamperne der virkede/manglede lampe ved sidens sengen hvor der var sat en plastik pose over ledningerne, jacuzzien virkede ikke og elendig rengøring, meget beskidt over alt og sengene kunne man mærke fjederne i, morgenmaden kold kaffe og et meget sørgelig udvalg af mad især også når man har små børn med, tagterrassen er livsfarlig for små børn der ikke noget afskærmning, nøgle kortene til værelserne var næsten ubrugelige da de var tapet helt ind og lavet af pap. Det eneste der var positivt ved opholdet var bestyreren af stedet god service og meget sød. De andet personale var til ingen hjælp.

Lots of shops and restaurants nearby too. It was nice receive a warm welcome when we returned from our daily outings. The view from our room was amazing - go for the honeymoon suite, you won’t regret it!!!

Shajan (8/5): I am not going to stay there twice - We stayed for 5 days in the hotel. And the first day itself we told that the water was going very slowly from the shower area and it was disgusting to use like that. They said they will fix it but never did. And they did not change our room as well. But we stayed. And then when we were about to checkout we requested to do the pcr test since we were flying on the day after. And they brought a nurse and did the test. And on night we got the results and it was positive, but we never had any symptoms of any kind. They said we had to be in quarantine for 10 days and have to pay for those days. So we complained about the shower again, and they changed our room within minutes which they didn’t do before. And we said we didn’t believe the result since we didn’t have any symptoms, and we went to nearby clinic to do the test again. And the next day when we got the results, it was negative. We showed the result to hotel people, and the guy insisted that the result was fake, but it had the health stamp and it was showing in their health portal as well. He said even though we had a negative result we will not be able to fly. We called the airline company and we asked if we can fly. They said if we bring he negative result we will be able to fly. We went the other day to airport and we were able to fly. Now we are in our country and we did the test again, and it is negative. Some people said that some of the hotel people do that to keep customers in the hotel for more days.

G.M. Mehmet and his staff provided,they took care of me and my family beyond the expectations and we felt like we were at home away from home and they left an unscratchable image of hospitality at its best in our hearts. “Beautiful rooms and ideal location are the least positive things to talk about”. From a short notice reservation to an upgrade to most comfortable stay and unexpected shortening of stay and refund( not even a question asked) we had it all with a beautiful smile and professionalism from Mr.Mehmet and his staff. elbeck23 (2/5): Way to work to make it better - I booked this hotel through travel agency. On my arrival with my wife we found out that hotel staff did not put our reservation into the system and we had to wait for a while reception(he is also security and night manager) of the hotel looked for email from the agencies to find our names. Luckily he found it. Room was very small, actually that was expected before, but the worse thing the towels were dirty, even they change them everyday. Probably laundry company does not do good work. The main thing, door of my room was not locking properly. Normally when you just release the door that should automatically lock and should be unlocked only by card. But my door was closing and opening even without card. So, anybody could easily get into my room without key. For locking the door you have 5-6 times to open and close it again, but before doing it each time you have to show your card to the lock while it is still open. Very complicated one, never seen anything similar before. Breakfast was awful, old staff were on the table everyday. Shortly, I would never stay there anymore and never advise it to anybody. maruska007 (4/5): Tricky people - The room was normal, the hotel vrey well located. However the owner is not a reliable person. At the check in said the room was not paid in spite of the voucher that i gave to him. Confronting to the travel agency contactes the entity who issues the voucher " ok, was my mistake - he said. I aksed him to call a taxi to the airport, he calls and charged me 50€ - around 325liras at the time. I refused i toke a taxi just in front the hotel for 130 liras. since the very begining i felt we were hosted in a hotel managed by scheme people. UNRELIABLE !
mr98 (10/5): Location! Location! - This location was perfect for us since it’s within walking distance to the top attractions in Istanbul. We just walked to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Grand Bazaar; even to Bosphorous and Kakoroy. And many restaurants to choose from near by. We also had a view of the blue mosque and hagia from our room! If you like cheese and olives for breakfast then you’ll like this hotel! And the staff was helpful and welcoming.
Verified traveler (4/5): Location good, breakfast situation is worst seen! - Positives: Location is great walking distance to all major attractions etc. Staff member Mahmud very helpful. Negatives: Small rooms. No tea/coffee in lounge area as advertised. Breakfast a disaster. Not enough food for all the guests. Always short of butter eggs coffee etc and guests have to keep asking for it. Very embarrassing to keep asking for breakfast we paid for. Dinning area very small with not enough tables for guests. One time I had to take my breakfast to my room as there was nowhere to sit. Extremely short staff, never stayed at a hotel so short staff. Receptionist is doing dining room duties etc, one girl is running the kitchen. No room service as advertised.
crismonaco2014 (4/5): Do not recommend it. - Only the location is nice, but unfortunately the staff is not prepared for dealing with guests. We had made a reservation via our agency but on arriving here we didn´t have a room and the hotel was booked up. After 2 hours and a half arguing with them, the manager , at last, took us to a hotel nearby but stopped in the middle of the way and left us , with our bags, standing at the corner while he was talking on the phone. I called to him, but he totally ignored me. So, we returned to the hotel by ourselves ,left our bags there and told him that it had been enough , they needed to find a hotel in Sultahamed. On returning, they took us to a hotel for that night (which we liked a lot and planned to stay there for the rest of our trip, but unfortunately we were not allowed to). Well, the next day Lausos arranged a room for us, but , you won´t believe it: we had booked a triple room, so there were twin beds and they place a single sofa bed bewtween them. We couldn´t move in the room. Besides, there aren´t enough tables for all the guests to have breakfast.

Verified traveler (6/5): - We booked the property on April 11 at around 2pm. We arrived on the property on April 12 at around 2:30 am BC we were traveling by road. When we arrived they didn't have the room we requested. They didn't have any room that accomodated 3 people. They have us two rooms after searching for 40 mins however both rooms were smoking rooms even though we had requested non-smoking rooms
ielhaamh (4/5): Terrible - The hotel is very basic . rooms were small. TV didn't work properly. Been to other hotels in the vicinity.,but this one was poor. No coffee station in the room. Coffee was terrible at breakfast. Some staff don't understand English, which makes it unpleasant to communicate especially at breakfast time when asking for simple water!!! There was no advice given regarding which tours we'd like to do, even though we've been before. staff seemed over friendly, due to boredom. I won't be visiting this hotel again.

The staff was very unhelpful and could not communicate in English when reporting a problem otherwise spoke and wrote fluent English. The Manager was very dishonest and promised to provide a refund knowing the stay was not to a good standard as we had to use outdoor water facilities however he did not contact me and did not approve of a refund to hotels.com

Verified traveler (6/5): . - Anscheinend gab es komplikationen mit meiner Zahlung, was natürlich nicht glaubwürdig war da der Betrag für den Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel von meiner Karte schon abgebucht gewesen ist wollte die Dame an der Reception meine Sicherheitscode von der Karte um den bezahlten Betrag nochmals abzubuchen, erst nach einem persönlichen Telefonat mit Hotels.com wurde die Sache geklärt, ich empfehle mehr auf die eigene Finanzielle Sicherheit zu achten was die Daten anbelangt, ansonsten ist die Sicherheit in diesem Hotel gewährleistet. Wünsche und Hilfsbereitschaft der Mitarbaiter haben wir geschätzt. Sauberkeit war ok, Zimmer eher klein und einfach, Wellness Badewanne vorhanden aber defekt, Duschen möglich

omart469 (8/5): Quite and Calm Place to Stay in SultanAhmet - A Recommended place to stay. Room are reasonable good size. Nice and Clean rooms with city view from window. Few steps from restaurants and market. 0.5 Km from Sultan Ahmet city Centre i.e. Blue mosque, Grand Bazar, Hagia Sofia etc. Breakfast has good options. You can site inside as well as on Balcony/terrace to have open air view. Reception guy was very friendly and guided us a lot about city and tours. Only bad point was elevator cabin was quite congested.

384francescoi (2/5): BE CAREFUL!!!! - According to our experience, we can say to all the travelers who decide to book in this hotel: BE CAREFUL!! When we arrived, we were obliged to withdraw money to pay because they refused to let us pay with credit card, even though they had the terminal (I wonder why!) ...perhaps because after seeing that we were two tourists, they are thought to increase the price of the room, so paying cash there would have been no proof of this! They had assured us that in our room the television received international channels, but obviously the only visible channels were Turkish! Finally, there was not even wifi! After a night spent there, we asked them to return us the money we had paid for the remaining 2 days and we ran away...

Superb location,walking distance to Sultan Ahmed Mosque,Hagia Sophia and tram station. Negative: Small cramp and dark room. Small bathroom so does the elevator too.We can't barely move around in our room.TV and hot shower not working. Breakfast isn't great enough.

Oteli Beğenenler olabilir ama benim otel hakkında ki fikrim oldukça negatif. Bu sıkıntıyı yaşamamın bir sebebi de Hotels.com. Otellerinizi daha düzgün seçebilir ya da daha doğru tanıtabilirsiniz. Yaşadığım bu sıkıntılı deneyimde hem oteli hemde hotels.com'u suçlu bulduğumu söyleyebilirim.

Specially the uzbek guy at reception, tells you to shutt up and later ready to fight with customers all the time. Upon complaining to manager on duty he was sorry later and tried to make fake smiles.
safinaahmed786 (10/5): Amazing! - Booked reservation online..paid at the door. This hotel is located at the heart of sultan ahmet and is nearby all main attractions. The staff was absolutely amazing! They are polite, helpful and approachable. Sardar is really really nice - he made some great suggestions on how to spend time in Istanbul...i.e. vialand and bosphorus cruise. Even Abdullah is amazingly helpful and polite. Definitely recommend this place to everyone. Breakfast is ok.
Sharada123 (2/5): Lousy Lausos - Istanbul is a fabulous city. Fabulous people, fabulous food, fabulous everything. We loved our holiday. Except for this hotel. The breakfasts were good, the bed was comfy but the room was pokey and dark and the staff's attitude seemed begrudging. The water went off for some hours every mid-morning; not a problem had we been warned but we weren't and they were unapologetic. The various functions on the shower barely worked and there was a huge hole in the corner of the bathroom wall which let in noises from the next room. Most worryingly though, I found water dripping from the ceiling onto my head as I sat on the loo on the last day! My impressions of this hotel would, however, have been so much more favourable had the (all male) lobby staff only smiled and made us feel as if we were welcome!
eclipse_chasers (8/5): Good price if booking online - door price much higher - We were 4 people and the suite we were given had 2 rooms but they were extremely tight. I seem to remember more roomy hotels on previous visits to the city but it has been a long time now. The decorations were heavily brocaded and perhaps traditional. The breakfast area was near the check in and it was a dark space, I did not find it relaxing to eat there. But location, location, location! We had 20 hours in the city and hit the ground running. We were able to log 20,000+ steps on the 7 hour endurance march that I inflicted on my husband and kids. Everything was easily reachable on foot from this hotel. We were the only people in the hotel when we stayed and the staff said that tourism is suffering this summer. It is a shame as Istanbul is still an awesome city!
389alie (6/5): Just average - Hotel is located in the old city of sultanahmet so it's walking distance to main attractions such as blue mosque, hagia sophia, etc. That's the best part. When we arrived at the hotel, the AC was not working in the entire hotel. It took them a day to fix this issue. Worst part is we were not told of this when checking in. 3 days later same issue happened again and it took them again a day to fix. On our last day the water was not running, took them 6 hours to fix that. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was below average. Stay at Lady Diana hotel right across, it seems to be much better.

MikiIvo (8/5): In the heart of Sultanahmet - Aaaah... Istanbul... so colourful, magical, enchanting, aromatic, noicy, alive, unique! The location of the hotel is perfect. You go out and in not more than three minutes, you`ll see the Blue Mosque and square, leading to Aya Sofia. We went with two friends, so we booked a family room, which is actually two rooms connected with a door. The rooms are clean and nice, decorated in typical Turkish style. They are a bit small, but the space is more than enough. We are not staying in the rooms, right?! The breakfast was great! There is a small buffet, prepared near the lobby of the hotel. If the weather is nice, you could even use the terrace, where you could prepare for your day and all the things you want to see in this amazing city. The stuff is very helpful and polite. They speak very good english and will assist you, if needed.
