Guest Reviews
- Discover58922143235 (2/5): Very Disappointing, no food variety. Chicken, rice and vegetables all week. One drink included as part of all inclusive. - Very very disappointing. Absolutely lovely main building when you first walk in but that’s about as good as it gets. The food was okay but there was basically no variety. Chicken, rice, vegetables and pasta all week. There was one alcoholic drink as a part of the all inclusive package if you want anything else you have to pay. And the drink its self, is a watered down beer that didn’t taste very nice. There was flies everywhere too, spent more time swatting them with a flip flop than I did sunbathing, they don’t seem to have done anything about it got bothered by flies all week. During the whole week I did not witness the pool area get cleaned not even a sweep, found broken glass next to sun beds and lots of tissues, cups and other items at the bottom of the pool. Very disappointing.
- Rose767676 (2/5): FAWLTY TOWERS! Apologies for the Essay! But this Shambles of a hotel deserves every word of it! - This place is not for the British, we expect far more when we book All Inclusive. Let me start with the basics that we expect!
FOOD - There is no toaster at breakfast! There is only one selection of bread which fair enough is nice and fresh but no brown bread or even Gluten-free bread, I don't have any allergies myself but for those who do??
Breakfast is the same every day, wasn't too fussed about there not being any sausages or bacon as we are in a Muslim country but at least vary the selection!
All food is cold! Lunchtime was hit and miss some days absolutely awful food and some days some ok food, nothing amazing or beautiful or other words we would use to describe a decent meal. Again no allergen label's infact no labels to even let us know what we are actually eating, I gave myself abit of what I thought was a beef dish (no one around to ask) turned out to be Liver!
Again all food cold.
Dinner was again hit and miss, no labelling of food and again no allergen awareness and also again cold! The salad bar and desert station were kept cool with a single flimsy fan, what even is that?!
They do serve takeaways at the outside bar which consisted of donner and chips, pizza and chips, burger and chips and such like. If they can serve up chips where U have to pay for them then why can't they be available at lunch and dinner?! I feel like we had the wool pulled over our eyes on that one! we should not have to pay for food on an All Inc holiday because the food is just so awful in the buffet!
Drinks - no selection of spirits available whatsoever, unless we were willing to pay €8 for Vodka, Gin or Whisky! U expect something like this to happen being in a Muslim country but having said that we have been to Tunisia and the selection of alcoholic drinks was above standard, however that was booked with TUI not THOMAS COOK. There is no Diet Coke at the outside bar but if u go to the takeaway bar u can buy them for €2! Again, how is this All Inc?!
All that is included in the drinks selection is very flat very warm Local beer, very vinegary white and red! Orange juice that is awful! And soft drinks are sprite and Regular coke, makes no sense to me why we would have to buy diet coke!
ROOMS - house keeping is very poor, they don't clean just change towels and empty bins and have a quick whip round with something that I can only assume is meant to be a mop!
Fresh bottled water is available, the house keeping staff don't always leave u any however u can go down to reception to ask for more , if U feel like doing that when you have just got back to your room and are too tired from a day in the sun!
The rooms are very basic, very under par compared to what you'd expect. I am far from what u would call a snob but I do like my accommodation to be clean and fresh.
The shower is quite powerful however on 2 separate days there was no hot water. I left it and went back to turn it on half an hour later and it did come out but it was a dirty dingey brown colour! I let it run some more and it eventually came out as something vaguely resembling water! I was very reluctant to step under the shower for fear of possibly contacting Legionnaires disease, but that being said I needed a shower! I am still alive so that's a plus!
I have uploaded 2 photos of this water both taken on separate days to give people an idea of what I mean and can judge for themselves! My daughter had a piece of jewellery go missing, the room was searched high and low and it was never found! make of that what u will! My advice would be to not leave things laying around in the safety of your own room! The very last day we were due to leave really was the cherry on the cake! The hotel had said we could keep one room on free of charge, all the others we would have to leave by 12 lunchtime or pay €50 per room!. We gave this free late check out to our elderly parents, all the others we left as requested. As we weren't being picked up till 19.40 that evening we decided to catch some more rays and we would all share our parents room for showers/freshen up etc. When my daughter went to shower she had realised that she had stupidly left her trainers in her room so requested the key card to go back to collect them, imagine her surprise when she found they were not there! She checked her case twice over checked high and low and nothing, we then came to the conclusion they had been stolen! Where else could they be? She came away with one pair of trainers, she had hardly lost them! We deduced that the cleaner, thinking we had left for good & would not be back had taken them! No other explanation. We complained and complained and nothing was offered, no explanation nothing, simply said she shouldn't have left them in the room! Well yes I would tend to agree but does that warrant the cleaner to take them and not hand them in?! No it does not! We were told we could call the police but they would take 2 days to come, how very convenient when they knew we were due to leave that day! Needless to say my daughter went home minus 1 pair of £160 trainers, very unhappy at the lack of empathy!
I feel I have to mention This Hotel was provided via Hotel beds.com via the Thomas Cook website. It has no star rating on the Thomas Cook website, even Thomas Cook are refusing to give it an official star rating, which we didn't realise at the time of booking. At the end of the day the sun was shining and had a decent week weather wise and came back a stone lighter! If you're looking to book a Holiday in Turkey then go for it just don't do what we did and book this hotel, there has to be something much more nicer out there, this hotel didn't have very many British people staying either. In hindsight we wish we had known all this beforehand!
AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!
- P7963NWdawne (8/5): Would definitely return - I think it was good for what we paid £600 for 2 all inclusive. Couldn't get caravan in England for that . Yes food was all turkish but that's what I like so wasn't a problem . Now for the down sides
Pool side torlet needs cleaning and fixing up
Pool bar man needs to learn how to smile
The private beach doesn't exists its some loungers on grass about 200 yards away
There is no hotel beach bar . There is a small cafe on beach but does not take cash.
But has I said for what we paid I dobt think you can complain for 8 nites . Lovely lady at reception very friendly
- AaRoNsMiTh65 (2/5): Worst holiday ever - If your looking forward to lovely clean and nice food at this hotel walk away now
Food is dreadful
Rooms are dirty
Hot water doesn’t always work
Free bar is literally lemonade Pepsi 1 beer and water
Coffee is not always available
So if ur a picky eater you’re finished
You’ll come 14 stone and leave 8 stone
Tv doesn’t work
Staff are so not friendly
Go to the free bar by the pool you’ll meet
Mona Lisa the worlds most unhappy man
No entertainment at night
So would never recommend to anyone
- kennethhL3988CX (2/5): Don’t come here - Please do not come here, the food is not edible it’s always cold, no signage to say what it is.The hotel is filthy.A mouse was seen in the restaurant last night.SAVE YOUR MONEY.rooms are that basic no kettles, paper cups for tea coffee no proper cups, plastic cups for juice that are so flimsy the just squash in yr hand.I have never been on holiday and longed to go home after 3 days, even sheet on bed all torn.
- davidlL7071XD (2/5): Worst stay ever - Just returned from here yesterday ive been to Turkey loads of times and this is the worst hotel ive ever stayed in paid ove 1600 for a week here with a friend and the room was so dirty I complained and the moved us to a villa which was bigger and still dirty I had to go a look for a cleaner to clean it which took cleaner 5mins and that was the only time it was cleaned the food was rank and repetitive and always cold the bar only had either tubroug or one white wine and raki if u wanted spirits u had to go to another bar and pay upto 6euro a measure it was the worst week ive had in turkey ever staff are rude never wud I ever go to belkon hotel again pure rank dirty hotel
- Renaud (4/5): Not very clean - They give us a room not clean
- Ifeoluwa Rapheal (2/5): - Bad wifi
- sulehak2025 (8/5): It was hot but great!! - It’s a lovely big hotel. Bit outdated and in the middle of nowhere but it did the job. Amazingly we had the view of LAND OF LEGEND! This was 5 mins drive from the hotel too. We loved having 5 swimming pools to enjoy, 2 for little ones and 3 big ones for all ages and swimmers. The rooms were small but enough for your luggage’s and a desk. All standard rooms have space for 3 people, be it 1 double and single or 3 singles. We had a problem with a bed because we needed an extra one for a 4th person, they gave a mattress-then had to take this up with the holiday bookers. My room AC wasn’t working but they’d soon sent someone to fix it. The Communal and dining had no AC or fans, being 40degrees made it difficult to sit and eat. Carry your own fans. It got too hot all around the hotel all the time so we spent our indoor times in our rooms-when not swimming. It was lovely sitting by the pool to eat but there were too many flies and bees.
They have a shuttle bus-that takes you to their designated beach area-we didn’t get much time to enjoy that.
Closest shopping area is Kadriye, 5 min drive and a single taxi journey is £10. £20 both ways and they wait for you for however long you need them-or send a separate taxi for pick up. Also, this where you’d find agents for activities. Here’s a number, lovely man and trustworthy. +90 532 287 88 76, Saban. Very nice place. Belek town centre, which was a very much bigger shopping area than Kadriye, was just a little bit further away, about £25 taxi fare both ways.
Antalya city was about 30/40 mins drive. To take a taxi there is about £150 so best to put it together with your day tour of the city. We paid £200 for a minibus for 14 people, visit the city and some shopping. The old city/clock tower is where the Turkish shops are, the little stall type ones. The mall was decent.
Hotel staff were lovely and responsive. They even print your flight boarding passes for free. Rooms cleaned nearly everyday. All things were safe in the room. Keep yourself busy and you’ll have a great time-we did just that! Hope it helps.
- neelamr620 (8/5): Don't be put off by bad reviews. Pleasantly surprised. Make your own decision - We were given this hotel on the spur of the moment as everytime we tried to book a holiday the price went up or there was something wrong with the booking so teletext holidays suddenly threw this hotel at us. As I had a severely disabled 16 year old neice who's first holiday this was I was scared especially after reading the reviews.
However I was pleasantly surprised. I did try to go with a positive attitude but was still skeptical. We were told we would have the club room which apparently is an upgrade However upon arrival they deiced to change us straight away to normal rooms. At first I was not happy with this as club rooms are more spacious with a separate seating area. But after inspecting them I realised it was the best decision they made for us. They gave us rooms next to each other ( we were a family of six) and they were not in a secluded place surrounded by trees. This would have made it awful for us because wen would be surrounded by heat and mosquitoes which would be dangerous for my neice.
Overall thd experience was amazing. Yes the hotel is outdated. Needs an upgrade. The toilets are old with stains and so are the shower heads old. The water has sand coming from it I am assuming its because we are very close to the beach. There are bits broken from the furniture and there is no safe and limited space in the wardrobes. The food is okay with only a few main dishes and few starters and salads. No baklava and only 5 dessert options. For breakfast there is only 2 types of bread and no toaster which I was shocked about. Only 5 dishes for breakfast and salad. Two types of serial. Like I said limited food. No ice cream or constant food like normal all inclusive restaurant. No chips or burgers for children like other hotels. Just cake at 4pm which everyone rushes for and it runs out. Flies constantly everywhere and wasps but this could be because or the 50 degrees weather. However they try to change the variety of food everyday. Never is it the same. Which is lovely and the restaurant staff and manager always try thier best to accommodate to everyone's needs and ideas.
Apart from this the staff make up for all this negative. They are absolutely wonderful. They supported me and my family throughout. I was absolutely shocked at how they keep everything clean or try to. I have stayed in 5 star hotels and they do not clean rooms like they have here. Everyday I would get clean bedding and towels in my room and my floor cleaned. The cleaner was a lovely lady and man.
The swimming area was constantly being cleaned my air conditioning always worked that it was so cold at times I had to turn it off. It was 50 degrees outside. There are 3 pools and plenty of space no rush for lounges. The beach is nice but not inclusive like other inclusive hotels no food there nothing you have to buy food.
The staff Hassan Sulaiman and Furqaan looked after us well. Everytime we had an issue it was sorted quickly. On the last day they let us stay until 3.30pm. Considering checkout is 12. We needed the room to change my neice as she is 16 and needs constant changing. Also it was comfortable for her on the bed. They were lovely about this. No other hotel has allowed us to stay longer. Other 5/4 star hotels charged us for Internet in our rooms. This hotel didn't and it is a plus. The Internet works well and has good connection. The lobby needs more air cons and so does the restaurant.
I had hammaam in the hotel and it was amazing. The staff were limited with English but understood me well when I said I required Privacy. They were amazing. And not pricey at all.
Overall our experience was amazing. We really enjoyed ourselves. Fresh water bottles in the heat. Yes this hotel caters for predominantly Turkish residents we were the only British there shower they teated us very well too. All it needs is modernisation and more food varieties.
- Parwiz (4/5): - We recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately had several negative experiences that impacted our overall stay:
• Inconsistent Pricing & Unprofessional Behaviour: On our first visit to the dining area, one price was given for food. The next time, a different staff member (claiming to be the manager and father of the first) demanded a higher price, saying “my word is the final word.” This was unprofessional and uncomfortable.
• Rude Staff with Poor English: Many dining staff members were openly rude and spoke very limited English, which made basic communication difficult and added stress during mealtimes.
• Room Key Issues: Our room key did not work properly. We had to return to the reception five times, and the older man at reception (who also claimed to be the manager) spoke in a very rude tone, insisting his staff was right. We ended up waiting 30 minutes for the issue to be resolved.
• Ignored Early Check-In Request: We had submitted an early check-in request via the app a day before our arrival, but received no response and no support when we asked in person.
• Positive Note – Pool Facilities: The pools were excellent and well-maintained, which was a highlight for the kids. However, this alone doesn’t make up for the overall poor hospitality.
Unfortunately, due to the unreliable service, lack of professionalism, and poor staff attitude, we would not recommend this hotel to families or international visitors who expect respectful and consistent service.
- rachelmP9635PY (4/5): Last minute booking and not a great hotel. Warning to travellers to read all the reviews before coming here. - We booked a last minute holiday the day before we flew and took a chance on it being okay. First off the staff were lovely, especially Jimmy the manager and Mike the cafe bar guy. Seen reviews that said staff were surly and ignorant? Not in our case but we made the effort to speak to people and smile so you get what you put in. 😁
The hotel itself is very dated and gardens overgrown but the pool area is cleaned every night and our kids loved it. Not cold at all and no trouble getting a lounger. The loud music starts about 10am and goes on till 11pm. We didn’t mind so much but it was all aimed at the predominantly Turkish, Azerbaijani, Belarusian and Kurdistan guests, we were the only English people there. The only bar was at the end of the pool and unless you knew it was there would easily miss it. It was very dark and overgrown and the selection was very limited. However, there was no limit on how many drinks you could get which was good as the small plastic cups didn’t hold much. Okay if you had a beer as these were in a proper glass.
The area round the reception desk was comfortable and there’s free WiFi throughout although it didn’t quite reach our room in the villas. There were areas in darkness which looked unfinished but looking at the website these used to be bright and had other shops and things here. Not sure what’s happened. The first floor has two doors which have the names of 2 bars on them but you can’t go in and they both look like building sites? Again not what the website suggests.
So, that’s the positives. I’m not a complainer but you need to be aware that the food available is very bland and not what the website would have you believe. There was a small salad, cold meats and cheeses selection every morning for breakfast. A small selection of cereal, some sort of weird sausage thing and an egg dish and that was it. No toast, no bacon or beans or anything you’d recognise as an English person. The coffee from the machine was the best part in my opinion. Lunch and dinner were much the same but you’d have a pasta option and a sauce, no meat in it, and on the evenings there’s an outside grill that did chicken or fish. I don’t have a lot of fried food but I’d have expected chips at least. There was watermelon and cake available which other guests seemed to love as you’d see them piling plates high with the stuff! We used the cafe bar a lot in the evening as they did lovely freshly prepared chicken kebab, pizza, hotdogs and chips. We didn’t try the meatballs or burgers but our food was lovely. You have to pay for it here though but it’s not expensive. Mike was great and he comes to find you when your food is ready, we didn’t expect that and it was a nice touch.
Our room was awful I can’t lie. The toilet wobbled and had a smell of drains every day. It stank. The tiles in the bathroom were dark brown, the one small window didn’t close properly and no daylight came in and the single light fixture had dirt and dead flies in it. The shower holder was broken and there were no hooks to put towels on. Very dark. The main room had two sofa beds which the kids used. They were comfy. Our ‘double’ was two singles pushed together and you could feel every spring in the mattress. Not comfy at all. The air con was the only good thing about the room. The windows were dark with overgrown shrubs and dark brown curtain which we had to keep closed. Some of the plugs didn’t work and the electrics go off when you remove your room key so you can’t charge your phone or anything when you’re not in the room. Housekeeping came every day to change the towels but came early so if you were still in the room and asked for 5 minutes they don’t come back till the next day. I’d suggest just taking the fresh towels in this case. There’s a small fridge in the room which had seen better days but it kept our water and aftersun cold. The wardrobe smelt musty so we kept all our clothes in the suitcases.
Would I come back? Yes to Turkey, no to the Belkon Hotel I’m afraid.
- ffmoore4141 (6/5): Just ok - First off, please be advised that this was a last minute holiday out of school holiday time for a family of 4. We were here for 5 nights only at a total cost of £1600 for 2 adults and 2 children aged 13 & 14.
Facilities - pool area is great. Nice big pool, not freezing and there's a few small water slides away from the main pool area. There's a kids club (not that we needed that), however, never saw it being open. Easy enough to get a lounger although I dare say this will be different in school holiday time.
Refreshments - soft drinks and draught beer (Tuborg) and they don't limit you to a drink per person for each order. However, whether your are queuing or not, 11pm on the dot this ends and you have to pay. The cafe and bar section offers more selection of drinks, however, you have to pay for everything in this area but the prices are pretty decent.
The AI bar, there's only one so the queues are long!!!
The food for all inclusive is diabolical to be honest. It's not an exaggeration, it's worse than prison food and not a lot of choice. Don't be expecting any sort of ice cream on tap for the kids or chips (for you fussy lot) - it just ain't happening!!!
The food in the cafe and bar part (which you have to pay for) is really nice though but I don't think I can have chicken kebab every night 😂😂
Staff - seen reviews that the staff are ignorant. This is simply not the case, every member of staff have been really friendly with us.
Room - it's a bed for the night 😂 They're just ok but very dated but we quite like that. Cleaning isn't the best if I'm being over critical.
Entertainment - again, it depends on what you want. There's a bit of a disconnect on an evening with Turkish dancers and Turkish music.
Overall - nah, we wouldn't come back but we came for a relaxing break and that what we got and it's what you make of it really. I'd advise going self catering if you've booked or looking to book here.
Remember, there's a tipping culture in Turkey and that includes taxi's!!! The hotel bellboy (they call him that btw) takes your cases before you've even realised! 😂
- Abdirahman (8/5): - Food and receptionist are good, but I'm not satisfied for cleaning of rooms & pools.
- Ajour (2/5): - Terrible, poor breakfast, dirty rooms with insects and bugs,
Not advice for family
Pool water very dirty
Staff rude
- Ahmed (4/5): - It was okay for the price paid
- wendyd860 (2/5): Worst hotel I’ve ever visited - We arrived at just after 9pm all inclusive restaurant was closed so told to got to bar where we could pay.for food
All inclusive only has beer wine and soft drinks, second day they ran out of wine, so had to pay at the bar which is part of the hotel and same make of wine.
There two ladies toilets in reception one was out of order all the week we where there.
Breakfast is appalling no toast, fruit or fruit juice.
When the weekend came they put extra selection of food on has they had Turkish and Russian people there , however they are so rude fill there plates and leave most of it.
Most time there where no plates and dishes.
And food was not replenished
quickly enough.
Our room was ok towels changed daily but only got hot water of a morning.and low with pressure.
We enquired about safe to be told they didn’t work.
The nearest town is belek which is a taxi drive the hotel is in a golfing area
and no nearby restaurant/bars.
There is a free shuttle to the beach however the restaurant only serve soft drinks.
Other all inclusive hotels on the beach have there own personalised bar to obtain food /drink.
There was no life guard around the pool even though they have 2 water slides, a lot of people reserved beds and never sat or came too them.
There where glass glasses used around the pool to which I think is dangerous when you have people walking around and children running.there where a few broken while we where there.
This hotel is very tired not a four star has advertised and definitely does not cater for English people, has most of the stall do not understand English.
Don’t bother visiting.
- garycK1483HC (2/5): Worst so called all inclusive hotel you will ever stay in - Advertised as a 4 star but it's a 1 star max supposed to be all inclusive but all that's available is local flat beer and very very cheap wine and soft drinks if you want branded spirits you have to pay rooms not to bad food atrocious pasta chicken nuggets chips and one other random thing. salad and desert was just a pile of sugar. not catered for British people the guests are mainly russian and Turks and the Russians are the most arrogant rude people you could meet the would virtually push you over to get to the food the only good point about this hotel is the night reception guy named Jimmy he was great.the hotel is in the middle of nowhere the closest supermarket is 20 mins walk away and the nearest town is 5mile away and will cost you 20 euros each way ..so in a nutshell if your British do not stay here be warned
- AAlimani (2/5): OMG BEWARE !! - **OMG VERY BAD Experience - A Complete Scam by Thomas Cook!**
*Belkon Hotel - July/ August 2024 - Family*
We booked our holiday through **Thomas Cook**, expecting a luxurious and enjoyable stay as they described, but it turned out to be the **worst holiday of our lives**. We paid money for what was supposed to be a relaxing family vacation, but what we got was a nightmare! I feel utterly betrayed by **Thomas Cook** for misrepresenting this hotel as luxurious when the reality was completely the opposite.
**Room Condition & Hygiene:**
The rooms were filthy, run-down, and reeked of an unbearable stench. The villa was infested with bugs, insects, and even lizards! We were constantly dealing with bites, and I ended up with swollen legs. Our children were terrified, and this was far from the relaxing environment we were promised. I have photos to prove the horrible conditions.
**Food Safety:**
The food was left uncovered, **attracting swarms of flies**, making it impossible to eat without feeling sick. It was so unhygienic and posed a **serious health risk**. We were in constant fear of falling ill, and we spent the whole trip avoiding meals at the hotel.
**Toilet Facilities:**
The toilets on every floor were unusable, with an overwhelming stench and broken facilities. It was absolutely disgusting. Instead of the advertised luxury, we got dirty, malfunctioning toilets that were worse than what you’d find at a roadside stop.
**Transportation and Beach Access:**
One minibus was supposed to shuttle guests to the beach, but it was **chaotic and overcrowded**. People would **push and shove** to get a seat. It was humiliating and extremely stressful to deal with this daily. It’s ridiculous that we had to fight for something as basic as transportation to the beach.
**Sunbeds & Pool:**
There were only a few sunbeds available, most of them **cracked or broken**. Despite this, we had to fight to reserve one. How is this luxury? I cannot believe **Thomas Cook** described this as a luxurious stay. It was anything but.
**Thomas Cook's Failure to Respond:**
We have written to **Thomas Cook**, and their response has been completely inadequate. All they have said is they are “looking into it” due to a busy time—no real resolution yet! It’s unbelievable that a company of their size could let this happen.
This experience has left us feeling robbed, upset, and utterly disappointed. Avoid **Thomas Cook** at all costs if you don’t want your hard-earned money to go towards a horror show like this. What was advertised as luxury turned out to be a dirty, dilapidated excuse for a hotel. I will never trust them.
- Cansel (2/5): - Unsauberkeit
- 4141025 (2/5): NEVER AGAIN in this hotel!!!! - Really bad hotel from rooms, restaurant lifts drink area , only good thing staff at reception was friendly & helpful everything else is awful about this Belkon hotel basically it’s like refugees camp im sorry to say this, but that’s best I can describe it🤮
- Sahin (4/5): - Kein Teller war sauber, essen war eher schlecht.Ich würde es nicht wieder buchen.
- 0813HR (2/5): Horrible experience😡 - Terrible Experience - Avoid This Place!
We booked our holiday expecting a relaxing and enjoyable time, but it turned out to be the worst holiday we have ever experienced. The reality of this place is nothing like what was advertised.
**Room Condition & Hygiene:** The rooms were in horrible condition with an unbearable smell throughout. The villa was infested with bugs and insects, which was terrifying for our children and us. I was bitten multiple times, resulting in swollen legs, and I have photos to prove it.
**Food Safety:** The food was left uncovered, attracting hundreds of flies. It was extremely unhygienic and posed a significant health risk. Eating here was a nerve-wracking experience.
**Toilet Facilities:** The toilets on each floor were in such a bad state that they were completely unusable. The stench was overwhelming, and the facilities were far from what one would expect on a holiday.
**Beach Transfer:** There was only one minibus with 10 seats available for beach transfer. It was chaotic as everyone had to push and shove just to get a spot, making it a stressful and potentially dangerous situation.
**Beach Amenities:** The sunbeds on the beach were broken and unsafe, causing people to fall when attempting to use them. They were completely unusable.
This place does not meet even the most basic standards of safety, hygiene, or comfort. It was an incredibly disappointing experience, and I urge others to avoid this place at all costs.
- N5219MVsamanthad (2/5): Worse hotel ever 2* at best if your English you won't be welcome - Where do I start. This is probably the worse hotel I've ever come across. NOT A 4* BARELY A 2*.
Firstly if you have booked here change ASAP. We were the only English family and didn't feel welcome at all mainly Russians we arrived at 3am were guided to the room in compete darkness. When we got the room which wasn't advertised it was a villa and it was discusting I will add photos people were arguing and a rushing guy wrapped his hand up.ready to punch another guest why my child sat there the hotel staff just laughed. Most of the staff are very young constantly harrased my 13 year old.
*aircon leaked causing a pool of water :
*door handles were missing
*kids beds were broken
*shower was broken
*window were broken and wouldn't close anyone could enter
*sheets were ripped
*rug was covered in brown stuff
*floor was discusting
*Tiles were broken on the floor and walls extremely dangerous
*electrical wired exposed
*sockets hanging off
*pool steps had steps missing and sharp metal exposed
*constantly spelt of sewage
*toilets were awful constantly shut
*No snack bar all food always had flies on
*food was the same every day no change (chicken and rice )
*Other Russian guest would littal shove children out the way and run for food it was like nothing I've ever seen.
So the hotel also states it has a park, it does not
It also does not have a kids club I stayed for two weeks no kids club.
Night time entertainment is just music on a laptop sometimes a Russian disco for 30 mins for little ones and a Turkish dancer once a week
From 7.30-10 nothing just laptop music we were bored beyond belief
Food- food was awful chicken and rice every night odd time chips which were also awful and the Russian guest would quiet litrally take plate fulls nothing would be left
Sunbeds- all cracked and broken cut my leg twice. I could go on and on. Drinks - one local alcohol one wine that's it
Pepsi, 7up and Fanta don't even think about asking for milk for your tea god forbid a brit should want milk.
Ice cream you have to buy not in all inclusive there are inly Turkish cake tbh it was vile. Breakfast we couldn't eat nothing at all food I'd never seen I did try but it was awful. To add I've been to Turkey numerous times never experienced anything like it food wise
Good bits 3 pools however only one shallow one and it's tiny the rest are very deep if you have none swimmers.
Jimmy a guy who rents cars and will take you to the town ect my daughter got an ear infection and he did help and get us ear drops he was very helpful and we were very greatfull (nothing is close and what is isn't much of anything tbh)
Land of legends is close by however its very very expensive. Unfortunately it was very hard just to think of anything good so that's it. I booked with Thomas cook how they are able to get away with advertising this hotel is beyond me.
- Scenic09711558620 (2/5): Dirty - This hotel is 4 star, but it’s not even 2 star, never been to hotel this dirty before, dont ever book to this hotel, the rooms very dirty, staff very rude, my shower had gone, i told them, they said we’re gonna do it but it’s been 2 days they never sorted it
- 885martinc (2/5): Avoid if you can - The worst accommodation ever. It's an all inclusive with a small food menu. They don't even label the food menu so if you have allergies a highly recommended you avoid this hotel. The 7 days we stayed there, our room only got cleaned once irregardless of how many times we kept asking them.
The rooms have insects and the Aircon system was faulty all the time. Snacks during the day are not free. Any whisky or Gin is not free. The only alcoholic drink that you get for free on your all inclusive is the local beer Tuborg and wine. If you are taking your family prepare them to see fights because one of the bartenders always has an altercation with guests. The WiFi is only available downstairs near the reception and pool only. Most shower heads are broken and there's no Safety boxes in most rooms. There's also no Gymnasium like it states on the advert. They also don't run a kids club like they advertise, the room exists but its full of broken furniture and dust. So many things are wrong with this place, you can tell it used to be reputable but somewhere along the line probably there was an ownership change. This was my worst Hotel experience and I would never rebook it.
- saruul (4/5): - The hotel itself is pretty old and the food over there is just not good. The one good thing about the hotel is the pool, i would say.
- T337NTtrevorb (2/5): Belkon Hotel, Antalya, Turkey - The Belcon Hotel is advertised as a 4 star property on Thomas Cook & On the Beach websites so we booked a week's all inclusive holiday.
The overall condition of the hotel is appalling, there were numerous electrical and trip hazards throughout the place, many of the staff were unfriendly & unhelpful (though a few were lovely) and the food was diabolical. We expected some good Turkish food but instead were given a strange mis-mash of food, never labelled so you never had a clue what you were eating. Food that was not used during one mealtime appeared again at the next meal though sometimes disguised as something else. Though the hotel was apparently full, there were only 3 or 4 choices, most of which appeared to be chicken (though we can't be certain what it was) which one of our party can't eat.
The toilets by the pool area were filthy, didn't look like they'd been cleaned in a very long time. The hotel's beach area had a few dozen sun-loungers, every one of which were broken. The shuttle but to & from the beach was a 15 seat bus - on one occasion we counted 30 people getting off it so there was no thought given to safety.
Overall it was a very disappointing experience & in reality a waste of money - don't bother to stay there.
- Sergej (2/5): Very dirty hotel, terrible food! - Absolutely nothing good, the food is something terrible, all the food floats in some kind of dirty water, there are flies everywhere, absolutely nothing can be eaten, a lot of joy for children is the children's slides, but they are old and dirty! The air conditioners in the rooms work poorly, they also fall apart, one air conditioner fell right on my child while he was sleeping, it’s terrible, we left this hotel the next day, there’s a lot to list, this hotel is not worth your vacation and money. one plus is the staff at the reception, especially the guy, all I remember is he has an earring in his ear, he is an absolute great guy and helped us when we needed it.
- michael (2/5): - Ok the food the worst got sick the rooms beds older then the 1950 and they Stoll our i pad and said we did not have one WiFi doesn't work in general my dog would not like it
- michael (2/5): - They also dont have a phone number that works my son forgot his i pad in the drawer after a long battle one of your agents said they would call back no reply and it was not there so it means that they stole it and I am still waiting for the hotel to call back
- Abdullah (4/5): Awful - I stayed here with my partner who is English for 2 nights and let me tell you if I had the money to move hotel even for only 1 night I would have. there was no English entertainment not really a big problem but she missed out on what was going on. But the worst of the worst was the food situation!! Now everyone would crowd the doors at meals time and it was like a bunch of animals rushing into the room. We decided to hold back on the second day but realised that people cue because otherwise there’s no food or cutlery left, we found ourselves eating scraps with paper plates and plastic cutlery. And on top of all that the staff were just rude will never be staying here again and yes it wasn’t the most expensive holiday but definitely not worth the amount we paid for 2 nights
- Hakan (4/5): - Es war nicht sauber
- Lynne (2/5): - I thought I had booked an all-inclusive hotel and on Expedia's itinerary it states under Included amenities free parking and all-inclusive. Hotel told me that I had booked room only. Tried to cancel booking at hotel and on home computer but virtual agent had no record of boooking. Mashalle your agent found booking and told me that the room only was all-inclusive. V misleading.
- Hasan Nabeel Saleem (4/5): - The property so dirty
- Ali-ihsan (4/5): - Bin wirklich enttäuscht. Im All-Inklusive ist nichts inklusive. Alles kostet extra.
- peter (4/5): Hotel Belkon - A very disappointing experience food was always cold and a very limited choices. Bar staff very unfriendly. There was one manager that was helpful and cheery. No water or anything in the room fridges. Rooms were tardy and need refreshing. Overall not an enjoyable experience and wouldn’t go back ever and wouldn’t recommend it to my friends and family
- Anna (4/5): - The hotel is very dirty, unkempt, staff are unfriendly. The rooms are shabby, old furniture, stained pastel linen. The restaurant and lobby are full of flies. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
- Mohammad Naghi (2/5): Very bad it is not hotel at least now - This place is not a hotel now I tell you some important things as below
1- there are workin more building workers whole over the hotel especially in labyrinth with noisy instruments
2- there is no warm water in bathroom in hand washing valve
3- there isn’t WIFi internet inside the rooms
4- the phone doesn’t work because the wire is broken
4- the photos in your App isn’t math with this hotel for example this hotel isn’t beside sea , the pools not working because free of water
5- whole over the hotel is very cold and in cold weather conditions you will feel very cold
- Salim (6/5): - Otel Soğuktu be Tamirat vardı.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Alles defekt, Spa geschlossen, Lage schlecht,, kein Getraenke ausserhalb der Essenszeit
- Lyuboslava (8/5): - It was okay!
Zonde
- Martin (4/5): - Very old, tired and rundown hotel. Even though not expensive, I feel it's still over priced, we've stayed in much better places for less. I read the reviews, so I wasn't surprised by its condition. The hotel staff were helpful in finding a place to store our bikes for the night. The included breakfast was pretty decent, considering everything else.
- Afif (6/5): - Vasat
- Abdullah (4/5): - Çift kişilik odada tek havlu takımı vardı, klozet kapagı artık sararmış vaziyetteydi, temizlik vasattı.
- M (4/5): - Super run down conditions. The toilet lid dropped off when closing. The hand soap container dropped off when pressing to get the soap. The shower doors were broken.
- ALPAY (4/5): - Tavsiye etmem
- mehmet kemal (2/5): - daha once yazılan yorumlar kotüydü bence az bile yazmışlar berbat otesi yemekler yenicek gibi deyil otel kokudan gecilmiyo odalar berbat yatılacak gibi deyil
- J (2/5): Awful.hotel - This hotel is appalling . What you get is not what is advertised on Expedia . The food is awful hot food served lukewArm or cold this is due to either the buffet bar ovens being broken or turned off The salads are NIT kept in a refrigerated area nor are they covered flies swarming over the food The food is not labeled I did complain to the management about the food and the potential dangers of reheated rice and eggs served lukewarm Most but not all if the staff are rude The problem with this hotel is they have a management team who couldn't care less I will never book with Expedia again after my experience at this hotel . It is NOT A FOUR STAR HOTEL IT IS A NO STAR HOSTEL EXPEDIA YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES TO EVEN ADVERTIAE THIS HOTEL
- Susan (4/5): Belkon hotelli - + Spa:n Hamam/hieronta (maksullinen) - Yksipuolinen ruoka.
- Abid (6/5): holidays - Comfortable hotel good value for money
- A awada (2/5): Never again - The pictures looked way nicer than reality
it's very basic hotel
- rebecca (4/5): Get what you pay for - Its ok, you get what you pay for and £23/night what do you expect. it was clean and ok. The food was terrible unless you liked salad and bread for all meals! I stayed as I was working and knew I would be out of the hotel most days and nights!
Staff were nice, bus to the beach seemed to be busy and usful, hotel is away from everything so need taxis to get around which can be expensive
- Resul (10/5): Nice hotel, close to the beach and good location. - I've stayed in this hotel in one of my business trip and it was good and comfortable.
