- DAWN (10/5): - Laureen was very hospitable. She accomodated us every step of the way. There were clean sheets, comforters, pillows and sets of towels arranged in the room. The bathroom was also clean and there was hot water. Laureen checked in on us to see how we slept and if our needs were met. She made a delicious hot breakfast consisting of blueberry pancakes and eggs how we like them served with tea, coffee or water. Lastly, the landlord/hostess, Laureen, always had positive vibes and friendly at all times. I highly recommend staying at the Antique Rose Inn. - Dawn Kwiecinski

Delicious pancakes with in season blueberries and fresh squeezed orange juice served on the front porch. Host was extremely informative about the area and things to do and places to eat in town. We liked everything.
- Justin (10/5): Lovely stay in an 1889 Bed & Breakfast. - The owner or manager was quite accommodating with early checkin for our luggage and let us use her mini refrigerator.
She was very friendly and gave us a tour of this 1889 home. She made a delicious breakfast accommodating my gluten and dairy intolerance. The bed and room were totally comfortable! The only drawbacks were sharing the bathroom with the three other rooms making six people using the one bathroom. A water filter is also needed for the brown water.

The house is really unique and beautifully decorated, while also being very comfortable to stay in.

- Lek (10/5): - Friendly host
- Sarah (10/5): - The inn was super cute and homely inside!! Our host was so friendly and helpful for around the area! Also her blueberry pancakes were very tasty!
- Cynthia (6/5): - I posted a review last night. However, I wanted to add the fact that the property owner seems to be doing “her best”. She was very friendly and personable. Even though the accommodations were a little more rustic than we expected or are accustomed to, we got by just fine. The Catskills are a beautiful part of the country.
- Christine (8/5): Large room, shared bathroom, Bed and Breakfast - Antique Rose Inn is a 3 bedroom bed and breakfast, in a historical house. All three rooms share 1 bathroom, this was a surprise to me, so wanted to make sure you know. We stayed in the king bedroom and it was large. The breakfast was good.
- Nicholas (10/5): - Our stay was perfect. The Host was superb, always friendly and made the best blueberry pancakes (fresh blueberries were from a local farm).
- JOAN (10/5): - The Inn was beautiful and the Inn Keeper, Laureen,
was friendly and efficient.
- Desn (10/5): - Fun stay ! Terrific hostess and price !
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great relaxing place to stay. Convenient to activities.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - everything was as advertised
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very beautiful place! Gorgeous house! Great owner!
Everything excellent!
- Jonathan (10/5): - Beautiful house with gorgeous views, flowers all over and nice and quiet. The host is awesome too!!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - For the price it’s poor value. Old house with subpar maintenance. That the bathroom is shared by 3 rooms with many guests is not stated upfront. It’s a big downside.
Breakfast was ok. Nothing to write home about. Host is way too chatty with little substance. Overall 4 out of 10.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice stay, nice breakfast, shared bathroom a big minus
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Loreen was sweet and personable, sharing lots of stories about her life and time running this BnB.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We are usually renting apartments with kitchenettes to avoid having to eat at restaurants. Thanks to the superb breakfast the owner served and her generosity to let us use her house to eat takeout food for dinner we enjoyed good food without having to cook and spending the money for an expensive apt. The owner made us feel very at home and we enjoyed our stay.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - If you don’t mind the host’s creative and obscure political views, then you should be ok. Personally I was a little uncomfortable and disappointed.
Agree that host is friendly and very talkative but there were topics that were offensive and very off. Not what I expected on vacation.
Also agree that the shared bathroom for all guest (up to 8) is not clear on listing. Description is a little confusing.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The owner is friendly, helpful and always ready with a recommendation. She is accommodating. One really feels she is there to make your stay the best possible.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The owner was very friendly and welcoming. The scramble egg she bakes is yummy
- Verified traveler (6/5): Room with shared bathroom - The host of this B&B is very nice, cooks a nice breakfast and the property and location is beautiful.
While we had a great night sleep, we were disappointed that the rooms share a bathroom, which is not clearly indicated on hotels.com. The price is a bit steep for a shared bathroom.
- Amy (8/5): - Very friendly host. Breakfast was good. Our room was nicely decorated and a good size. Just wish it was noted in the description that there was a shared bath.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice clean place for a nights stay. We enjoyed the front porch for a quiet place to relax.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Loren is a doll, so welcoming and makes a delicious breakfast. The property is spotless and our room was extremely comfortable and homey. This is a lovely spot to stay in Windham!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Beds were comfortable heat in room was sufficient so was hot water quiet location
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Lovely owner and very pretty property. It was a pleasure to stay!
- Glenn (8/5): Enjoyable stay. - Very friendly host, King sized bed was amazing, sharing a bathroom was ok (very clean), breakfast was good.
- Neil (10/5): - Laid back. Innkeeper was very friendly and accommodating
- Verified traveler (10/5): - historic old structured home, friendly caring service, very nice breakfast.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Overall it’s a good place to stay. - We were welcomed warmly and our hostess had a knowledge of some of the things we had planned to do. The accommodations were quite comfortable and breakfast was good! She made it to order and fresh juice was a nice touch. The home needs some tlc and we didn’t really get much of a mountain view from the room but since we hiked Hunter Mountain we got our views from the top. Overall this is a good place to stay.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Ok but overpriced - Very dated and overpriced. Host also very just wants to talk at you. Nice enough but a bit invasive
- Kenneth (10/5): - Welcoming staff, great breakfast.
- Lori (8/5): Mountain getaway - Lovely time. Great breakfast!
