- Meryl (10/5): Exceptional - The hosts are lovely, fun and welcoming. The place is beautiful and when we were there it was just my husband and I and our friends and we had the place to ourselves and it was great to hang out in the parlor and on the beautiful porch. It was a great stay!
- Meryl (10/5): Cozy elegant, convenient. - Perfect location, and because we were two couples on a Sunday night, had the whole house to ourselves.
- Sarka (8/5): We really enjoyed our stay! - It was very clean, and cozy. We were welcomed every day by Brent and Chris, and they made great suggestions, and welcome! They also made an AMAZING breakfast on the weekend. Yum! Hospitality was A+. We are not used to hearing cars where we live, and there was a lot of car noise since we like the windows open for fresh air at night. That is our only complaint.
- Michael (10/5): - Great hosts Chris and Brett very hospitable & professional.
Clean and well appointed rooms. One of the best places we stayed at.

- Martha (10/5): Embrace Calistoga is a premier bed & breakfast experience, and the proprietors make it so. - Chris and Brent are the most extraordinary B&B hosts! They were so welcoming, kind, open, attentive and were also just a whole lot of fun. The details were so special! They’ll be there to greet you when you arrive, they host a lovely wine and charcuterie hour in the late afternoon, and so much more. The energy they bring and how present they are with us, their guests, shows how much they love doing what they do. Best bed & breakfast experience ever!!! Nothing

- Tiffany (10/5): Exceptional -
- Glenn (10/5): Restful and relaxing - The breakfast and the friendly staff
- Gordon (8/5): - I really liked the service by the hosts/owners Chris and Brett. It's a quaint old old house converted to a B&B. Our biggest problem was that our room faced the street - the main downtown street in Calistoga. I typically specify "quiet room" in a reservation but forgot this time. So it was very hard to sleep due to an almost constant street noise from vehicles. The A/C window unit was noisy too. Windows do not block noise much either (single pane). The back-facing room was unoccupied, so we wished we had been there instead. Otherwise, it was nice. Breakfast is served on the porch - the food was excellent! Wifi speeds are quite slow, but functional.
- Joseph (10/5): Exceptional -
- Esther (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carl (8/5): Definitely would return. - Breakfast was great and Chris the host was also great. There is a little street noise, since this is the main street of Calistoga and this was a little annoying, especially the street cleaner at 5 am.
- Laura (10/5): - The hotel was lovely! Our room was charming. Chris called to check on food allergies and to see if we needed suggestions for dinner. He was very knowledgeable, humorous, and charming.
- Leo (7/5): Pleasant stay, with a accommodating host. - Chris did a fantastic job of accommodating us from check in to the time we checked out. Delicious breakfast was offered every morning and after breakfast a snack pack was offered for the rest of the day. That was refreshing and thoughtful. Every interaction with Chris was pleasant and helpful. We got a lot of recommendations to restaurants and places to go. Chris even tried to arrange a reservation to a restaurant on our behalf. Overall our stay was pleasant and we plan to come back in the future.
- Diane (10/5): - The Embrace Calistoga is a wonderful heritage home with the most fabulous wrap around deck where the chef worthy breakfasts and evening wine and cheese plates are served daily. The owners, Chris and Brent welcome you with open arms and make you feel like you’ve come home. Love this place.
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (10/5): - This is a very nice place to be - spectacular large old house porch. Close to some great wineries. Several very good restaurants. What makes Embrace Calistoga special - Chris. His level of service and dedication to his people staying at his place is over the top from the first meeting to the wish we could have stayed longer. John Sally
- Anonymous (10/5): A beautiful bed and breakfast . The decor was elegantly done. - Location was walking distant to downtown and restaurants . Love the huge wrap around patio sitting outdoor for a wonderful breakfast served every morning and evening wine and cheese . We stayed in the deluxe king suit . The decor was nicely done and the fireplace was nice. Chris prepared a beautiful breakfast . The snack bag and gourmet chocolate daily in the room was a nice added touch . The only thing was missing was would of been nice if there was a full size mirror and a smaller size robe to fit the ladies. Loved the BVLGARI soap and shampoo.
- Darren (10/5): Exceptional - Food was exceptional and Chris and the team felt like they were family almost immediately.
- Alexandra (10/5): Home away from Home in gorgeous Calistoga - This gorgeous BnB hosted by Chris was wonderful. The wine and cheese from 5-6 made it extra special.
- Sharmila (10/5): - The manager provided excellent service.
- Paul (10/5): - Chris and his staff were awesome and we thoroughly enjoyed the property and experience. The breakfasts and afternoon wine and cheese tastings were also spot on. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again the next time we visit the Calistoga/Napa area.
- Karen (10/5): - Great hosts, charming place, delicious breakfast! We would definitely return.
- Jeffrey (10/5): Great B&B with great food and engaging hosts - Chris and Brent are wonderful hosts at this well-appointed and very clean B&B. There are 5 rooms of various sizes. We were in a queen room upstairs with air conditioning that was clean and nice. There are larger rooms with istting areas available as well. The standout feature of the house is a spacious porch where wine and cheese are served in the evening and breakfast is served each morning. The breakfast dishes were very thoughtfully crafted and tasted excellent. Chris and Brent are both outgoing and engaging. Both are ready to help with advice on wineries to visit, dinner recommendations and other local outdoor activities. It was our first time staying there, but we will definitely book again and try to bring some friends or family members.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Like many due to covid we had to wait to celebrate an important life milestone. We decided to take a road trip up coast from Southern California to Napa. The trip was in celebration of our 35th anniversary. While driving up I received a call from Chris letting me know they were ready for us and that we would have wine and cheese waiting for us. When we drove up to Embrace the inn was every bit as beautiful as the booking photo if not more. Chris was there to greet us with the promised wine and cheese which was perfect. Chris left us mouth opened when he took the heaviest suitcase up a narrow flight of stairs to our room. The mornings were the best part! Freshly baked pastries and gourmet breakfast. Chris and Brent are AMAZING host. We felt like we were visiting with friends. The detail, the service, the care, conversation and heart are all there. We plan to return many times more. Highly recommended.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The owners provided excellent service and were great hosts. Probably the best place to stay in Calistoga and we were glad to stay here instead of Napa. Calistoga is closer to the wineries we wanted to visit and the smaller town is a much needed getaway from the larger city of Napa. Evenings on the porch are wonderful with wine a cheese provided every evening by the host at 5pm. There is some traffic at this intersection but it didn't disrupt sleeping since it slows down quite a bit during the evening hours and to nearly nothing later at night. The town is very walkable and there are at least a six or seven really nice dinning venues to try along with a grocery store and pharmacy that carries pretty much everything you need should you forget something. There's also a small gas station just south of this B&B to fill your rental car before leaving for the airport. Travel Tip, fly into Santa Rosa if you can. It's a bit more expensive but gets you into wine country faster and the airport is small and easy to get in and out of. We rented with Enterprise which was great but Avis was also at the next counter and an Enterprise partner. Expect a unique breakfast each day with fresh orange juice and your choice of pressed coffee or hot teas.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Extremely great value at this cozy inn. The proprietors are absolutely fantastic people. Our King suite was spacious, and very well appointed! Wine and cheese in the afternoon, coupled with a wonderful breakfast in the morning are not just perks, but rather a great opportunity to meet other guests, and learn about the property. Chris takes the food seriously, and he executes preparation and presentation flawlessly.
- SirJohn (10/5): - 5 Star all the way‼️Very nice and best place to stay in Calistoga 🍏
- David (10/5): AMAZING STAY! - My wife and I just finished up 3 AMAZING nights at Embrace Calistoga. The house is lovely and the room was very nice with little touches like gourmet chocolates, waters, and Bvlgari toiletries. The breakfast each morning was a 4 course, ridiculously delicious, display of culinary artistry. An amuse bouche, a pastry course, a fresh fruit course, and an entree! (Along with French press coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice.) After breakfast each morning we would also get a goodie bag to take with us with snacks and waters. (Very much needed on long wine tasting days!) In the evenings from 5-6:30 there is also wine and cheese on the wraparound porch. The best part of the stay though was our hosts, Brent and Chris! From the moment we arrived, they treated us like old friends and by the end of the stay, we felt like they were family. They are a treasure trove of knowledge about the valley, wineries, and more. We will be coming back here as long as they will have us!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - My wife and I love the location and can’t wait to go back.
- Mary (10/5): - Chris and Brent were amazing hosts and staying at their inn was the best thing about our trip to Calistoga. The gourmet breakfast each morning and wine and cheese in the evening made our stay informative and delightful. They answered all our questions and helped us make decisions about wine tasting, restaurants, and other activities each day. Our stay in the King suite included a dual head shower, large soaking tub, luxurious robes, and a natural gas fire to warm by. The only thing I might add, would be a more cozy rug by the fire, more available large towels in the bathroom, and some sort of sound-proofing due to the early-morning road noise. We will definitely visit again!
- Greg&Marci (10/5): - While coming to the wine country is always an amazing experience, staying at Embrace Calistoga made our vist a perfect experience. Chis and Brett ( the proprietors) make your stay this very personal experience with a charming and beautiful inn, gormet multi course breakfast, a evening social our with wine and cheese and peronalities that form an immediate and wonderful sense of friendship. Staying at Embrace made this trip the best wine country experience we have ever had.
- Bonnie (10/5): - The room decor was lovely and comfortable. The fact that it was right in town, but felt like it was secluded and private was wonderful.
