• Team J (7/5): Good for what I needed - I was attending a basketball tournament down the road. Bella Vista location was convenient to this. Room was well equipped with fridge, microwave and appreciated the heat in the bathroom. They let me check in early, thank you. Recreation Hotel pub down the road was good for drinks and food. Unfortunately the bed wasn't very comfortable at all :(

TV did not work but it was a bit too late at night for us to notify the reception, wish they checked the facilities first before letting us check in. But not too much a big deal as we have restful night without it.

• CherieClenick (10/5): Great 3 night stay - We had a one bedroom as was travelling with our 13yo so had 2x singles and a queen bed (which were comfortable by the way). We booked this the night before for 3 nights after a last min change to our multi day hike. It was a 10min walk from the train station and easy access to super markets and milkbars (dairy’s?) if needed. Room was clean and spacious and exactly what we wanted and expected for the very reasonable price we paid. Check in was easy and we had access to laundry facilities and car park for our rental. Room was serviced each day nice and early and we just really enjoyed our stay. I am totally a 5* hotel girly usually but I didn’t feel like I missed out on anything. In fact, the more personable and flexible service we had (booked another night last minute, no fuss to use washing machine, reviews for places to eat, full kitchen) won me over in regards to the cookie cutter, churn in churn out service, pay for everything and anything extra you get from hotels (and what we got from our next stay which was a hotel). Thank you for your hospitality and your beautiful part of the world.

Loved having a kitchen area with the ability to make our own breakfasts and lunches etc. Check in was super easy and we added an extra night to our stay. They also have laundry facilities and a car park for use. We were in a family room and had lots of space. A great little stay. Appreciate the hospitality.

The toiletries have a lovely scent. Offers daily house keeping even we asked to skip it. Daily housekeeping was still provided, even though we requested no cleaning.

We struggled with the WiFi the first night which kept dropping out. The owner fixed it the following day for us -very responsive. Room was small and somewhat dated. Room was furnished in a minimum way (not much more could have fitted in) although the bed was good. Woken at 5 am every morning by person upstairs or next door having a shower. Noise through the pipes was loud.

Free parking at the accommodation. The room was spacious and clean. Excellent facilities including microwave, fridge, cutlery,plates, dishes etc. Room was comfortable with an excellent bathroom. Excellent value for money.
