• Yue-kun (6/5): - The hotel is in a very convenient location . The room is quite spacious. However, there some problems with hotel management. First give us wrong type of room when we checked in, then cancelled our second day stay . The laundry room is terrible dirty. The inside of washing machine and dryer full of dirt and even rocks and no one to clean it . I had to spend more than 20 min to clean the washing machine before able to use it. ( good things it is free to use) Actually both washing machine and dryer all are quite good one and very efficient just no one to take care them.

• Catherine (8/5): - There are not many accommodation options in Newman. Seasons is priced for what it is. The room was spacious. The reception was only open limited hours The fridge in the room could be a proper size bar fridge rather than the teeny box fridge. Bathroom was clean - remember nothing flattens white in a town full of red dirt!! Parking was about 20m away from unit.
• Julie (8/5): - The deluxe room was spacious. It had a queen bed, two chairs, kettle. The restaurant was busy but under staffed. The location was good. The pool was green with many leaves in it and the area around the pool had leaves and fronds everywhere. One facility paid for but not usuable!

• Julie (8/5): - I love staying at Seasons because the rooms are great and the staff are fantastic. When you arrive, the rooms are welcoming, with the aircon on so you can relax in the cool immediately. The staff make this place special and the quality of the restaurant food is outstanding. I was disappointed that the pool was not operational, particularly in our recent ridiculously hot weather. Hopefully this will be functioning again soon. See you next time! :)

• Haofanga (2/5): - Grass were like a foot tall Mud around the room entrance The rooms were just ok but the buildings are old and look tired. I have stayed at better mining camps that this supposedly Hotel. Over inflated pricing due to mining Staff were shocking and seems dodgy to me. Ihad put in a filter for 2 adults and 11 year old child and came up with a hit on 1 of gbeif rooms. Day before we arrived we got a phone call from them saying that the room only had 1 queen bed. I think they were trying to scam me to pay extra for a bigger room. Asked the manager on arrival for a free upgrade and he said no because they’re fully booked. BUT for an extra $100 I can have a 2 bed room. You’re either fully booked or not. I would not recommend it to anyone.
• Peter (10/5): - We had a very spacious room. Unfortunately the light in the bathroom went on the blink (really) which was annoying but not a big problem. The bed was comfortable. The only thing missing was a microwave but for the rest the room was well set up.

Bathroom a bit tired but the upside is decent water pressure and space in the shower and strong flushing toilet. I also love getting a face flannel! Decent and comfortable stay. I was in a downstairs room so some noise from above (scraping chairs) but didn’t impact my stay. Are at the restaurant which was busy. Nice terrace by the pool. Decent meal.

• Doris (6/5): - Laura, the Receptionist and the restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. One thing puzzled us was ‘what was the reason that coffee was not included with the breakfast?’ First time we ever come across having to pay for the coffee where breakfast is included in the room rate.
• Marcus (8/5): - It was convenient and parking was good. On a hot day the pool was excellent – cold and refreshing. Clearly not enough staff as the cleaning of rooms is inadequate. That is not to say‘ bad‘ but that it has clearly been rushed for some time. This may be a result of a staff shortage. Generally, enjoyed the stay. Things worked. Air conditioning was good.

Reception, bar and restaurant area deceptive -give impression hotel is far more up market than it actually is. Would not recommend. Better value for money to be had in town.

• Tony (4/5): - Only 2 waitpersons were on duty for the evening meal and both were under pressure to service the dining-room. In the morning I ordered the (complimentary) continental breakfast. No juices were on display (I can understand this was due the Covid-19 fears). I wanted a cup of coffee and noted that the hot-water dispensed was out of order. I asked the waitperson for a long black coffee and was subsequently charged $5.00 for this. When I queried this with the manager (who was extremely abrupt and surly) I was shown a small notice near the hot water dispenser which stated that hot water should be requested from a staff member. One small paper cup of black coffee for $5.00 when it should have been part of the continental breakfast! Pathetic attitude, rude manager, no refund
• Peter (8/5): Pricey but comfortable and clean - Only A few places to stay in Newman and all are overpriced, however this property is in a good location and close to the shopping centre. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Would stay again even if way overpriced.

• Barb&Marty (10/5): - I Love the fact that our very late arrival was met by a very pleasant man whose name i can not remember,and was only to happy to accommodate us at the very late hour and for this i thank him.the bed was very comfortable and huge which after along day in the car was much appreciated. we ordered breakfast and were supposed to pick up in the dining room due to covid 19 we could not eat in dining room and i rang them to say we were running late and they delivered to our room which was lovely also. wish we could have stayed and had a good look at the facilities but just did not have time. I wish there was an outdoor chair and table next to our room but other than this minor detail the place was great for what we saw and needed for . Thankyou

• Verified traveler (8/5): Flashy hotel in the southern Pilbara - On arrival, it took hotel staff some time (enough for 2 drinks in the bar) to find our Hotels.com booking. The menu in the restaurant was quite good (although some of the food was a little over-cooked). One of the chairs in our room was past its economic life and couldn't be sat in comfortably. The room was quite expensive for what is was, but I guess that is the local outback market

• Ian (8/5): Clean but getting tired - Arrived late in the evening after a long day travelling, checkin was good and friendly but restaurant staff were off hand and not very polite. Room was clean but getting tired. Bed was comfortable. Very expensive in comparison to other hotels being booked on this journey. Limited options and availability in the area and they make the most of it.

The options for accommodation in Newman are very limited and as we had an early morning tour of Mt Whaleback mine we needed to stay the night prior in town. I thought this motel was very expensive for the quality and standard of the accommodation. The room was not very clean and in need of some maintenance. The bed was comfortable and water hot. Continental breakfast was included in tariff.

• Peter (8/5): Simple with no thrills - It was quick stop over. The room was clean but extremely small. Expected the room to be large for amount spent, however it was clean and comfortable. The staff were really friendly upon check in. The dinner was great with lots to choose from.

The TV did not work properly when the light was on, and there was a cockroach running through the bathroom. Quite a strict dress code for the restaurant so was unable to dine in, and to have food sent to the room was an additional charge. The food itself though was very nice and the wait staff were considerate and helpful. It is okay to stay there but shouldn't have too high an expectation.

• Rose (2/5): Like a jail or army barracks - Bed moved all over the floor and was hard. Taps ran and eventually could not turned off and flooded floor. One glass only in room which was less than basic. Was not particularly clean respectably bsthroom and everything ver old and dated. Door lock was impossible to open only managed after much difficulty every time. Very unhappy.
• Jacqueline (6/5): Good and bad. - We werent expecting a great hotel but it was not as good as we hoped. The accommodation needs a thorough clean and upgrade. Disappointing when it was freezing cold to be told we had to sit outdoors for a drink until the bistro opened. Luckily after one drink we found the sports bar next door. Bistro meal at night was fabulous.

The desk had no chair which was inconvenient but I was able to use one from the verandah area. The restaurant was very good for this part of the world. Not great value but nothing is cheap in the Pilbara.
• Bruce (10/5): Regional Surprise - With Newman being a regional town, and me being from the city, you expect differences in 'quality' or 'service'. It's all about perspective and expectations. The Newman Hotel did not disappoint and in fact surprised me. Great clean, suitably equipped rooms with beautiful marble bathrooms - better than my own home! Staff were very customer service focused. This will be my go-to Hotel for any future trips to Newman.
• Muz (8/5): 1 night only - Ok hotel for a Newman, queen bed room, not much to look at from outside, (donga style), but pleasantly surprised by the inside furnishing/fittings.
• Ian (10/5): Upgrade your stay - Stayed in the upgraded room that was much better than the previous Dongas accommodation. Restaurant service and the meal was excellent
• Verified traveler (6/5): Pretty average but fine for the town it's in. - Good food, Nice restaurant and bar, service was very mixed, either really good or really bad depending on who you got. Bedrooms are a bit of a shock, the rooms are basically shipping containers stacked on top of each other and called Block A, B, C etc feels a bit like a prison camp, The bedroom wall had 7 rusty screws pointing out of the wall pretty lazy looking attempt at maintenance or repair by the look of it.
