- Haddaouy (3/5): - The location is good, near the Butterworth Penang Ferry Station. The hotel is okay for the budget The room style was not good, and the room itself was small. No towels were provided, and the hotel needs to improve its facilities as well as work on the hospitality standards required for a hotel of this level.

- Deon (2/5): Strong smell of cigarette smoke in room 110 and 310, WiFi unusable, poor sound insulation. - Front desk staff member friendly and helpful but ultimately wasn’t able to solve the smoke in the room or the WiFi connectivity issues. I checked out the next morning rather than endure another night. Strong cigarette smoke smells in two rooms offered. Seemed to be coming in through the bathroom extraction unit. Bizarre. Second room also smelled musty. Second, loud water gurgling sounds from another room’s shower and thin wall meant I heard the occupant splashing, burping, and spitting. Third, an open/unsecured wi-fi router prevented me from connecting using Nord VPN. Rather pointless offering WiFi if guests aren’t able to access it.

- Francesca (10/5): Exceptional - I liked the room even if it was small. It was clean and new. The location also is okay, close by restaurant, gyms and supermarket.

- Lorna (8/5): Quiet, comfortable room. Had a great sleep after two nights of the noise of Kuala Lumpur. - Location worked for us. We walked to mall, ferry and train terminal. An inexpensive taxi ride from train(15 MYR) to hotel and from hotel to Penang Bird Park(40 MYR round trip). And to Ferry terminal(15 MYR) to spend a day in George Town. Wasn’t anything, but my partner felt sorry for the lone fish in the aquarium.

- Ian (4/5): Poor attempt. - The receptionist was nice 🙂, the lobby was nice Lowest score I've ever given, It was a poor attempt at a hotel, location too far from everything, nearest coffee shop 30 min away, ferry is 26 mins walk, It's on the main road, No coffee or tea in the room, no cups ( yet a kettle that you can't plug in, ). 1 socket that you can't reach, no fridge, no bin in bathroom Mould on the ceiling. The TV screen broke, ( only 5 channels) no sound on 4 of them, told reception didn't care, did nothing about it, glass shower door as bathroom door, ( so everyone can see you use the toilet 🚽 , it could goes on, it cheap for a reason, ( but cheap is not good in this case)
- Zamani (3/5): Poor - Sheets & towel Had a room without windows and usually i feel its okay but at this hotel it was bad as the ventilation was non existing if you didnt put on the bathroom ventilation. And that one i think barely is on as there was mold in the room and it smelled like mold. So main reason hotel is bad was due to the horrible air in the room. Wifi is also outdated where you get a login with 10mbit internet.

- Gurdeep (7/5): It was good and would have been better if it had a mirror in room for dressing up. - Not much choice as there were few restaurants nearby. I suggest that there should be a cafe/restuarant in-house to cater for breakfast/lunch/dinner (buffet) at a reasonable cost and value for money.

- Ella (10/5): Good value and comfortable bed - Close to Train station especially if you're coming from a late night train. Really comfy bed. Bathroom gets pretty slippery after a shower, not very safe
