• Bryan (8/5): - The Premiere Surf Camp is a must stop for backpackers or anyone wanting to get a feel of Canggu. The staff are amazing, super friendly and helpful. Every time you see someone you can expect a pleasant hello and smile. The property itself is a little outdated compared to the pictures you see online, but it doesn’t matter, the atmosphere is very laid back and relaxed. You wouldn’t think so with it being right off the road but it is very pleasant. The breakfast has a little bit of options but really it’s all you need. I stayed for a week and was able to try something different everyday! The beach itself is a short walk from the camp with a decent amount of places to stop to eat on the way as well.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Good rooms in quiet area - The hostel itself is very nice, our room was clean and spacious. There is a pool (with a bar) and a great choice of food in the cafe/restaurant. Breakfast is included and is really nice! The only downside is it’s a little quiet, it’s a 15 min drive to the main shop/bar areas and we didn’t realise until we went out. The beach is a 10 min walk away however and there was a lovely cafe a 2 min walk away called Born Bright that had music in the evenings, we just didn’t go until the day we were leaving! :(
• Alexandra (8/5): A gem in canggu - Rooms are spacious, pool are is awesome to chill and restaurant has a good menu which i believe changes every so often. No complaints about this place at all. Only concern i had was the distance to the busy canggu area, but resolved by a 15-20min motorbike ride. Great area to study/chill but definitely having a scooter makes it more convenient.
• Casey (2/5): My $2000 camera equipment walked away.... - The rooms were hot (even with the AC on) and had ants all over (even in the bed). There was no shampoo or conditioner in the shower. The breakfasts were limited to four items that were all subpar and the breakfast wasn't even available until 8am. The staff doesn't speak English well which made ordering anything different difficult. BUT my biggest complaint is that I left my $2000 camera equipment there and it seems to have walked off on its own...while I know for a fact it was there (there's no where else it could possibly be), no one claims to have seen it. Odd how that happens....
