Jennifer (2/5): Can’t recommend - I wouldn’t complain if it was a cheapy but it was twice the price of the little cabin in caravan park - Tea making facilities and little pack of biscuits always welcome after a drive, though the brackish drinking water changed the flavour of the tea! The bed is possibly the worst I’ve ever slept on, lumpy, felt like I was trying to sleep on the side of a hill, pillow awful too. The tap water was undrinkable, so bad it even changed the flavour of the tea. Threw the curtains open to be met by a metal fence so nil outlook.

John (10/5): Great value for money, easy access off the highway and friendly staff. - The booking in process was easy and very friendly. The rooms were very spacious, clean and well laid out. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was quite functional. Parking was also very convenient. Another feature we liked was the back gate exit on to the main road and just a short walk to the eating venues which are plentiful. There is a restaurant but we didn't dine there were quite a few guests already there. Their menu looked very inviting. Nothing really.

Comfortable and clean. Excellent tea and coffee making facilities. Friendly and polite staff. Milk wasn’t supplied by housekeeping, which as I was staying for ten days wasn’t an issue as I just purchased my own from Woolworths.

Angelique (9/5): Heerlijke kamers, topvoorzieningen en ideale tussenstop - New England Motor Lodge is een fantastische plek om te verblijven. De kamer is ruim, modern en van alle gemakken voorzien, en alles is uitzonderlijk schoon. De ligging is prettig en rustig, ideaal om even bij te komen. Het ontbijt is goed verzorgd en het diner is heerlijk, wat het verblijf extra comfortabel maakt. Dit is een fijne plek om te overnachten en perfect als tussenstop tijdens een roadtrip van Sydney naar de Gold Coast. Alles klopt hier – helemaal top!

Kath (8/5): A comfortable bed and enjoyable meal at the onsite restaurant made for an enjoyable stay. - The location was good and the bed was comfortable. It had rained and there was wet dirt on the tiles outside the room which it was unavoidable to track inside the unit. The water from the bathroom shower seemed to go everywhere outside the shower and there didn't seem to be enough ventilation for the steam from the shower.

Kathryn (8/5): Good place to stay on the highway. - spacious recently renovated room. comfy beds. helpful staff. Car parked outside room. It was clean!!! If microwave was plugged in, there was no where to plug in kettle unless moved away from "kitchen" area. When in shower everytime light was turned on the high powered exhaust fan would turn on. Too cold when having a shower. Would not like in winter. Did wonder if electrical cords were valid as testing tags had expired.

Bed was very soft as were the pillows. The small size shower stall led to overflow of water. Change over of rooms began at about 7:30 when guests started leaving and was very noisy.
