Diana (8/5): Schöne Gegend, gute Lage - Appartments renovierungsbedürftig - Sehr schön war die Lage, direkt gegenüber dem Strand. Dieser war trotz Hauptreisezeit relativ leer. Prima fanden wir, dass im Motel ein schöner Grillplatz zur Verfügung steht (Vorsicht: Vor Benutzung die Funktionsfähigkeit prüfen. Bei uns war eine Schraube am Deckel locker, was erst beim Grillen auffiel und dadurch das Grillen deutlich erschwert hat!) und man kostenfrei Handtücher für den Strand erhält. Die Unterkunft war sauber, in der Küche war alles vorhanden, was man für einen kurzen Aufenthalt mit Selbstverpflegung benötigt. Die Terrasse vor dem Haus ist schön - wir hatten Nr. 7 mit Blick aufs Meer, was auch sehr schön war und worüber wir uns sehr gefreut haben, da wir ein Appartment ohne Meerblick gebucht hatten. Die Gegend ist insgesamt sehr schön und ruhig, trotzdem kann man ein paar nette Ausflüge machen, z.B. zu Tane Mahuta (dem ältesten Kauri-Baum - Autofahrt ca. 30 Minuten) oder zu den Koutu Boulders - Autofahrt ca. 10 Minuten. Zwei kleine Supermärkte sowie Restaurants sind fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Wir waren einmal beim Thai und einmal beim Takeaway - beides war lecker. Es war unsere erste Station auf unserer Rundreise und wir haben das gechillte "Ankommen" bei schönem Wetter für insgesamt 3 Tage sehr genossen. Die Einrichtung/Ausstattung ist alt, an den Waschbecken gibt es getrennte Hähnen für warm und kalt. Außerdem ist die Dusche nicht geeignet für Menschen, die größer als 1,60m sind. Für den Zustand fanden wir den Preis zu hoch.

Claire (8/5): Clean, comfortable and convenient - Great location to enjoy the beach and easy walking distance from the village amenities. Room was clean and comfortable. Despite the description, there is no sea view from the room, or any view for that matter. The parking is a little tight and directly outside each room, so sitting outside on your ‘terace’ does feel a bit like sitting in a car park.

Michael (5/5): Disappointing - Location is amazing, right across road from water, with dinner and boozing options nearby. Spa pool not working. Apparently the managers turn it off and empty it in Summer so guests don’t get sand in it. Either don’t advertise a spa pool, or provide a spa pool. Receipt attracts negative reviews

Laura Garcia (10/5): Una parada obligatoria con hermosas vistas - Hermosa cabaña con todo lo necesario frente a la playa, puedes ir caminando a el supermercado y la zona de restaurantes frente a la playa, me encantó con un mirador panorámico cercano muy hermoso vale la pena Arai te Uru Nature Reserve, y tiene una caminata que vale la pena hacer, si no tienes mucho tiempo al menos hasta la segunda playa que una hora, las visitas con hermosa Tratamos de comunicarnos para llegar más tarde y no fue posible, así q tuvimos que llegar a la hora indicada del check in.
