• Brenda (10/5): Horison Ultima Hotel. Is still the best Hotel in Bekasi. - The new building Hotel , it was clean and I was stay also in the old building hotel everything were good but need more new constructie.

I complained on the second day. They almost didn’t want to move me to different room. Finally the manager let me move to better room.

The bathroom need to be cleaner especially the wall, glasses and floor. Good air conditioning. Good breakfast menu. Friendly staff. Sink plug was not working. Few lights switches button were broken.

• Pook (10/5): If your staying in Bekasi, choose Horison hotel - Location was nice because its connected to a mall and there are at least 4 other malls within 7 mins walking distance. The swimming pool is very nice. Staff very friendly and very helpful...they all deserve a pay raise. They only criticism i have for Horison hotel is the breakfast. The rice, chicken/meat and potato wedges were all cold. They need to put burners underneath the pots to keep the food hot/warm. Also, there was no ice for my mango and orange juice drinks. But overall the breakfast buffet has a nice variety of foods and drinks to choose from.

Even though it’s not as new as it was 25–26 years ago, it’s still one of the hotels I choose to stay at whenever I visit Indonesia. I just hope the hot shower will be better next time.
• Melissa (8/5): Trotz allem kam ich immer wieder gerne in dieses Hotel :) - die Lage des Hotels verbunden mit dem Einkaufszentrum einiges hat erst nicht funktioniert, so dass ich immer wieder anrufen musste, aber der Techniker kam sofort. Das fand ich gut.

• s (6/5): Prima voor een nacht. Renovatie van de kamers is op zijn plaats - Bedden waren stevig. Erg hulpvaardig in cosmetica producten bij verloren bagage. Uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet; wel zeer aziatisch georiënteerd. Het hotel was wat smoezelig; lichtknoppen, kozijnen niet schoon. Bedden en handdoeken wel schoon. Wij hadden dit hotel om snel de stad uit te kunnen komen, maar de omgeving is echt niet charmant.

Somehow, the tv channel doesnt provide AXN which for us it is a choice to watch. However, we once booked another room and AXN is available.

• Zati (7/5): Convenient Location - The location is very convenient, attached to a mall, so getting anything is a breeze. The staff are attentive too whenever I need to interact with them. They give a card to leave in the room so the electricity does not turn off when you leave the room, which is useful. The shower water pressure was too low, and maybe need to replace the water head.

• smbjmn (6/5): Big time for spa improvement - This is usually a my go-to hotel everytime I go back home. Nice location as it is integrated with a legendary mall for locals. Abundant options of food and bakeries in that mall, making it very convenient for travellers. Staff are all awesome. My check-in was smooth, the lady in reception was very friendly and polite. I chose a non smoking room and, usually, it is on the other side of the building where you will need a ‘transit’ on the 6th floor, walk pass the bridge, then take another lift to your own room. I notice that staff might consider you as a ‘regular’; which means that they assumed that you’d know where you’d have to go, which in this case, not quite correct. The fact that we have to take another lift to our room is quite confusing, although, it is done for our own security (access to these floors is only possible with your room key). Several mornings staying there, I met some confused people who didn’t know where they had to go as they have to ‘transit’ first. The room, especially bathroom, is clean but very dated; understable as this hotel is one of the oldest in the area. Some international TV channels are provided (thank God!). There are safe deposit box (not working in my room), slippers, 2 bottles of water, basic toiletries, a working fridge and bins; also standard laundry service (I didn’t check the prices). Water pressure is alright, but we have to be careful as the temperature is very temperamental and is mainly very hot. Plenty to choose for breakfast and, during my stay, staff worked very hard to keep refilling the empty stations. However, there are less options for foreigners as they only have coffee, tea, juices, cereals and breads. This hotel is a destination for family staycation, so naturally breakfast will be a little bit challenging in the weekends for solo travellers as hotel only sets the table for four or more. But as long as staff is fast to clear up the table and refill the empty stations, guests will be alright. I did try its spa after checking out and, although the staff is very nice and polite, the inside needs a lot of TLC. There is no clean towel, bathrobe, slippers etc. ready inside the room, it is very clear that the spa is normally empty and the management is not bothered to pay a little bit attention. Massage room has a bathtub and shower that needs a lot of rubbing and cleaning; it looks so filthy that you would not want to put your body inside it. I expected that it would use same standard of toiletries, but NO, it is just some cheap shower gel and shampoo; even the towel was thin grey rather than soft sparkling white; nothing screams spa out of it. And although water pressure is good, the water was scalding hot even though it was in COLD. In short, big homework for the management because not everybody wants to have massage in their own room and the spa is just so filthy and disappointing, so NO, I’m not coming back to use its spa 😅

Mr Tenny, the reception team, the restaurant staff, the enginers, and the security team were very helpful. Thank you, guys! Keep up the good work! 😃 1. Lack of bathmats to be placed inside the bathtubs, which did not help my disabled daughter and elderly parents to get in and out of the slippery bathtubs. This issue has been mentioned on our previous stay. We are regular customers. Please pay extra attention to this. This is fundamentally important to aid disabled and elderly people! 2. Super slow Wi-Fi despite being given an extra personal router inside the room, which makes it difficult for me to work online from the room.

• Shay (3/5): We will never stay there again and I will not introduce to any of my friends. - Nothing, I will never stay there again and I will not introduce to any of my friends. We reach hotel only 11pm at night, room was not ready, staff was rude and never bother to let us know what happen and just leave us there waiting, three staff, nando, henri, andri, when ask about the room, just keep quiet and went to the side of reception to hide away to avoid being asked. The room was terrible, the carpet was very wet and have a very foul smell, which disturbs our sleep totally. The rooms are old and rusty at all corners, basic necessities are in the room though, in the end they compensate us with complimentary breakfast, but it will definitely be one of the worst experience we have with a 4star hotel in Indonesia.
