Guest Reviews
- Vaughan (6/5): Certainly adequate -
- Kathryn (10/5): -
- Janet (8/5): - Rooms are always clean and staff very friendly There was an issue with the hot water in the shower. It would work for less than 5 min and go ice cold. I had to shut it off and turn it back on 3 times to get thru a warm shower. Minor issue with tv remote not working either. But big issue with cold shower
- timothy (4/5): Beautiful town and area - The location even under construction on the road the location was nice easy access to all shopping areas and downtown. Hair in tub and dirty fridge reported it no one came and cleaned it so we did and cleaned the mini fridge. Pool was dirty staff was upset they had to open it. Could hear running water with the rooms next to us and above us. People running and stomping until midnight. Breakfast was the same all 3 days. Reporting issues with staff and it not being corrected was awful. They shut out key off everyday at 12 so we had to get it fixed everyday. All they said was we don’t know why they set it for a 1 nite stay only. Carpets in hallways never vacuumed the 3 day stay we where there. Will never stay there again
- Jane (4/5): -
- Fike (3/5): Won't be returning again. - We did not like the property. It was just set up really weird and it's in the middle of town.

- Lisa (10/5): The stay was wonderful except for the dishonesty/theft - I left a special to me blanket on the bed (Packers blanket) that my mom had given me). A couple hours later I called , the front desk person said she would check and call me back, as she did. She said she talked to the person that cleaned the room, and said she didn’t see it. Well, it was there!! I know I left it on the bed I’d understand if it were weeks later, but it was only a couple of hours. Someone in your staff if lying and took the blacker. VERY disappointed!! I suggest you talk to the person that cleaned the room. Makes me sick with dishonesty

- Kelly (7/5): Nice place overall not busy - Convenient for my needs . The room and property were clean . The presidential / USA theme is fun. Staff was friendly and kind . Restaurant on site although I arrived too late to enjoy it . The spa tub in the room was amazing , enjoyed the breakfast too although it was pretty basic. The pool area was well stocked and clean. Really quiet . Pretty good for accessibility too compared to other places I’ve been before . Bed was very uncomfortable/ older spring mattress for the cost being over $100 on a weeknight in a super rural town - I just expected it to be a nicer quality mattress/bed . The “fitness center” is not very good - it’s more of a closet with a tread mill. Bike and some kind of stairclimber maybe no weights or room to stretch out / do much of anything so That could be improved
- The Hauglands (4/5): Annoyed and irritated by this stay, so much so that I may cancel a future Ramada reservation. - Breakfast was less options than other breakfasts...no hot, even though it was advertised. Staff was 2 hours late in arriving to set it up. Even by 9 am there was no syrup available for the pre-made pancakes. Juice bar was very noisy, so much so that the machine needs to be retired and made even sitting in the breakfast room very irritating. Appreciated the hardboiled eggs, at least. Parking lot, along with ramp for disabled access & luggage was icy...not shoveled or salted. Steps not shoveled or salted. Had to go up 5 steps, then down 5 steps in order to get luggage to room. No other options. Parking lot was on an incline and even next morning was covered in ice and treacherous to get to car. Front desk explained that they did not even have salt on hand and maintenance is lacking at the property.
Pool was closed Saturday and needed shock treatment as child had thrown up in it. Should have been a couple hour fix, but wasn't going to open until Monday. Again, no shock treatment in stock and no one to take care of it. Very disappointing.
Only USB ports in room were on wall on both sides of bed. The left side didn't work at all, unable to plug in. We did plug phone and hearing aids (along with a charger) into right side. Woke up in the a.m. to all items drained of battery and not charged. Had to move phone to bathroom to charge enough so we could access GPS for 3 hour ride home. Very irritated with electric options.
No hot water in bathroom sink. Had to run bathtub for hot water.
Microwave door could not be opened or closed without lifting entire unit up so microwave door wasn't obstructed by the shelf it lived on.
Entire property was lacking maintenance and anyone to care that it was in this shape. Its an older facility that obviously is not cared for. Price was outrageous for what it was.

- Lietza (9/5): - Cool theme and clean No hot tub/jacuzzi, whirlpool. Just a pool.
Sink and shower drain slow, standing in water in tub when showering.
- Richard (10/5): -
- Melanie (9/5): -
- Brian (9/5): -
- Marcia (7/5): It was good and close to family - Towels were wonderful. Quiet surroundings Electrical outlets didn't work in many spots of the room.
- Wall (7/5): -
- Eduardo (8/5): -
- Miranda (2/5): - My room was infested with ants and the bed had no blanket/duvet just two thin sheets. I also woke up with bites on my leg. The breakfast was also poor. I won’t be returning.
- Lana (8/5): - I would have said our stay was very good , but the continental breakfast was the worst. Nothing to drink at Breakfast but water and Lemon aid . Many of the items were empty . No one there to clean the tables, we had to clean one to sit down . There were no clean plate's or napkins , to be used ! I had to get a paper towel !
- Charity (8/5): Served its purpose - It was in the area we needed it to be Old and hard to determine where to go from main check in desk
- Gerald (10/5): - Our room was very clean and everything worked great. The facility in general was very clean and well kept. The staff was very friendly and respectful and answered any questions we had. The property was well maintained and in an area where my wife and I felt very safe. We will definitely stay here again!!
- Phil (8/5): - Walls thin between rooms, quit noisy
- Lubov (2/5): - My reservation was cancelled without me being notified.
- Jeffrey (4/5): - The room air conditioner had blinding lights that were very irritating. The breakfast was terrible. Microwave pancakes and microwave burritos. That is not breakfast.
- James (2/5): EMBARRASSING INCIDENT - SOMEONE WHO WAS A VENDOR DOING WORK AT THE HOTEL CAME INTO MY ROOM WHILE I WAS NAKED GETTING READY TO SHOWER. I WAS TOLD HE HAD BEEN STAYING IN THE ROOM THE 3 PREVIOUS DAYS AND DIDN'T KNOW MY ROOM HAD BEEN RENTED. THIS WAS INEXCUSABLE.
- Rachael (8/5): - They are the best place in town but has no extras like a patio or fireplace outside........needs to be modernized big time
- Regina (6/5): The employees were awesome. The place was full of history. We loved where we were in vicinity of everything we went to g - Beautiful. Safe. Quiet. Scenery was awesome. The property was fine. It had history and had in its day beautiful place.
- Penny (1/5): Just plain disappointing. - After seeing the floors in the rooms the wedding was to held in on Saturday afternoon on Friday evening, we opted not to eat breakfast. We were there to help with decorate and attend our granddaughter's wedding. I was felt sorry for her, the floor in both the room the ceremony was held in and the banquet hall/bar was awfully dirty. Her train and hem of her dress was BLACK after walking only about 30 feet from the door to the pullet! Her wedding was at 3pm on Saturday, we were there on Friday evening to decorate, we informed them that the tiles needed to be mopped before we could set up and decorate. When we came downstairs to decorate and set up at 10am on Saturday morning, the floors had not been mopped and when this was pointed out to them, we were informed that they didn't have time to get it done before noon so we would have time to set up and decorate before the 3pm wedding.
- Roger (8/5): TV HAD NO VOLUME - Watching tv and suddenly lost volume. Tried to fix it with remote but it would not work.
BREAKFAST WAS A JOKE. For the price of a room there could have been better choices and mor variety. VERY DISAPPOINTING.
- Laurie (4/5): - Broken tv and fan. Insufficient breakfast. Snotty desk attendant.
- Butzow (10/5): -
- Jean (10/5): - Liked the location, easy to get to
- Eric (2/5): - Staff was tentative and helped us check in late at night. Room seemed as if only the beds were made during the last cleaning. Dirt was all over chairs, flys were found on bed covers, floors in bathroom having hairs scattered around including toilet seat and the mirrors still having writing on them showing they were never wiped. Just not what one would hope to come back to stay for the night after a long day of traveling. Disappointed when giving the place a chance for a holiday weekend.
- Genifer (6/5): My assessment - Such an awkward hotel… when I arrived to the front desk, I’m immediately told that my room is downstairs and that I should drive around to the backside of the hotel.
Details like these were not provided upfront. I also accidentally booked a handicap room and I asked if I could swap it and I was told no, that my reservation had been booked and it was not able to be changed. OK… That’s fine. It’s no big deal… Hopefully a handicap person doesn’t show up and need it. Once in the room… The TV would not connect. It appeared that it needed an HDMI cable… But when they brought the cable up, the TV still would not connect, so they said we’re going to change you to another room… Kind of ironic that I was told a reservation cannot be changed And yet when the TV didn’t work it was as simple as moving me to another room.
The walls are paper thin… My neighbor the first night was playing Marachi music so loud that I could hear it and feel it vibrating the wall and my bed over the sound of the air conditioning unit and my TV. We finally got that resolved. But you can hear every noise through the walls… The second night my neighbors woke me up at 4 AM to a rhythmic bumping on the wall that progressively got faster and faster… 20 minutes later it sounds like they tired and went to sleep. Not to mention all the moaning that was going on.
Continental breakfast… All frozen and prepackaged foods… Walmart brand yogurt, and stale breads in ziplock bags were a disappointment.
- Matt (8/5): - I'm being shaped like the white house
- Linda (8/5): - clean and quiet
- Stanley (4/5): - Light fixture beside bed was hanging crooked and about to fall off the wall. Room had a funky smell everyone we entered. Fortunately after about 10 minutes we got used to it. I think when the room isn’t rented they turn off the a/c and the room gets very hot.
- Krista (10/5): - The hotel is a bit dated, but clean, quiet and comfortable. Hotel staff is nice. The restaurant on site is amazing with delicious food and very attentive staff.
- Laura (6/5): Ok if your in a pinch - Price was way too high considering the condition of the hotel. It was clean but dated. Will not stay again.
- Hubert (10/5): - Everything
- DIANE (10/5): Very convenient - Staff provided excellent service during my stay Nothing
- Nancy (8/5): - It would be nice if the breakfast was more than perfuntory.
- Michael (10/5): - Great service and cleanliness
- Brazones (8/5): -
- Linda (10/5): - We liked everything - good restaurant!!
- Farshad (10/5): - nice
- Nick (8/5): - It was nice and clean, I didn’t like that we never got room service even after asking
- Robert (8/5): - I
- Jessica (7/5): - Friendly staff, cleanliness of facilities and jacuzzi tub Stains on the bedding, the layout of this hotel was difficult to navigate, trying to find our way back to the lobby from our room was an adventure
- Kathy (8/5): - This was an older property. Room was clean. Air-conditioned over the door outside dripped on us when we came and left. Front desk workers friendly and helpful.
- Patricia (6/5): - The continental breakfast was terrible. The choices of food were terrible. There wasn’t any protein. The quality of the food was terrible. We got upset stomachs. It was not up to standards at all. No one was monitoring the breakfast line. There were no bowls one day and there was salsa kept out all night that guests almost ate. The juice in the juice dispenser looked rancid. It was very upsetting that we couldn’t even eat the breakfast. We choose this hotel because it provided continental breakfast and we couldn’t even eat it.😔
- Verified traveler (10/5): Would Stay Again - Couple of tiny things from the previous person weren't picked up and the room seemed a smidgen empty but it was otherwise a perfect stay, efficient and clean and quiet.
- Jacob (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kelli (4/5): Stay here as a last resort - Our first room smelled bad, had a leaking AC that flooded half the room (carpet soaking wet), cobwebs in the bathroom, and a toilet that rocked. I reported the leaking AC and the wet carpet, and was asked if I was “okay” with the hotel doing nothing. I said that I expected the AC to be fixed and the water extracted. We were gone the entire day (left at 8, back at 6) and all they did was put two towels down the the AC unit. Carpet was still soaking wet and the room smelled like a basement. I went back to the front desk and asked what had been done to fix the issue; the person at the desk simply told me that she was “not informed about my issue” and said putting towels down was probably all they could do. After I kept asking for a solution, she offered another room which had two smaller beds (not the king bed I paid for). We accepted - because what else could we do - and the second room was fine; nothing special, but no leaking AC! They advertise a continental breakfast, which consists of cereal and packaged danishes. They have an in-house restaurant that advertises a breakfast buffet on weekends; we tried to eat there and found that there was no breakfast buffet setup, but there WAS the dinner buffet from the night before - still sitting in all the pans from the night before, Disgusting. Not sure how this place got a rating of “very good.”
- Liesl (10/5): - Comfy bed and clean, clean, clean!
- Crystal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Diane (10/5): - Quiet, clean room & excellent staff. 'Enjoyed my stay.
- Thomas (8/5): Very good -
- Donna (6/5): - Check in was fast and easy. Most of the room was clean. In the freezer part of the fridge was 3 pounds of hamburger, left from a previous guest. The bathroom had a big gob of black mess right below light switch. I thought maybe black paint but was it easily wiped with tissue.
- JAMES (10/5): - Check in was quick and easy. Rooms are clean. Slept good.
- Allan (10/5): - was clean, quiet and with a nice Restaurant
- O2299KVnancyh (8/5): Nice Hotel - Very clean, decent shower, comfortable bed & good internet. Also a refreshing pool after a busy day. Has a great walking path right behind which a wonderful way to start the day. I was concerned when they were pushing the hotel buffet for breakfast when they offered a free one & like I figured I wasn't impressed with it. But I wasn't impressed with the buffet for $12.99 either so made do with free breakfast
- Connor (8/5): - Decent little place for the price
- Joseph (10/5): - Clean, quiet and the staff was amazing.
- Andy (10/5): - Rrr
- Matthew (10/5): - It’s neat that it looks like the White House.
- Alejandra (8/5): Very good -
- Julie (8/5): While we came for our mom's funeral, our stay at Ramada has never disappointed. - We loved the pool area! The option of having a free breakfast or paid hot breakfast buffet. Paid for the hot breakfast buffet but couldn't partake of the omelet bar because it didn't open at 7 am when breakfast started. We ate about 7:30 am and the omelet bar wasn't operating until we left.
- FrequentFlier557189 (10/5): Great experience all around. - Nice clean rooms. The lady at the desk was very nice and friendly. Very accommodating. Thought I reserved a room but didn’t she gave us a room right next to our family members. Thank you for a great experience. It was nice to have coffee and breakfast items in the morning.
- Kurt (10/5): - Nice room. Very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Only problem was with the tv. The volume didn’t work.
- Jules (10/5): - Would have preferred a better seating area because that made no sense but other than that was good
- Vicki (10/5): - Very convenient, lots of parking. Did not like had to do stairs even when using elevator. Continental breakfast was kind of lame compared to other places. Could hear every nois from room above.
- Diane (10/5): - We stayed one night. It was quiet and clean.
- Andrea (6/5): - Pool area was very dimly lit, asked for more chairs, and they said there were no more. Pool was pretty small as well. It was a neat little place though, each room “state” themed, we stayed in “Kentucky” Continental breakfast was not impressive
- Danny (4/5): - My only problem was the first night the shower was cold
- Verified traveler (4/5): - It is advertised as having a pool but the pool is never open. The air in my room was extremely dry. The bed and pillows were too mushy so it was hard to get comfortable as you kept sinking into the bed every time you tried to move.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Find another place to stay - Walked into a 45 degree room that took four hours to heat up, window sills and walls by shower are filthy, sign in elevator says no continental breakfast on fri/sat/sun but they had one, no garbage can in breakfast area, broken outlet cover in breakfast area, bottom safety handle in shower not attached, bathroom fan quit working, not enough signage in the bldg to find the lobby
We stayed here one year ago and had none of these problems, they are letting it go downhill
- Diana (6/5): - The bed was comfortable. But the shower was not clean. There were several strands of hair in the shower. This makes me question the overall cleaning procedures. Did not use the jacuzzi tub because of this.
- Cortney (10/5): - Friendly staff
- Diane (9/5): Family trip . Convenient, nice staff - Location . Parking . Roomy In room heater/air conditioner is loud
- Heather (2/5): Very poor -
- Tim (10/5): - Quick and easy
- REED (6/5): Seen Better Days - Paid for free breakfast, but no breakfast available on Friday Saturday Sunday. The swimming pool was closed for repairs. Staff was insufficient and snippy. Room was noisy from guests in other rooms.
- Joseph (8/5): - Room was amazing! Complimentary breakfast was horrible and juices were water! Ended up going into the restaurant on property for breakfast
- Katie (10/5): - Staff was very welcome.
Hotel property and rooms were very clean.
We also enjoyed the restaurant.
- Connector11272053309 (2/5): Don't waste your time. - Pictures for King Deluxe Room were misleading what was actually a mirror looked like a doorway to a second room for which I paid extra for. At checkin I was told that a buffet breakfast was available, instead a substandard continental breakfast was offered with stale or very generic muffins, no plates to warm anything in microwave offered, had to hunt for spoons so my kids could eats cereal. So disgusted I waited to eat when we got back home.
- Teri (10/5): - It was nice
- Linda (6/5): - The hotel is actually pretty neat! The issues we ran into was just with the amenities. The continental breakfast didn’t have plates, tray for the microwave, bowls, etc. We had to eat of napkins and were there for over 45 minutes and never once saw any staff for assistance. At the pool, there were no towels.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Could have been worse. - Pro: it didn’t smell bad
Con: front desk and dining area were not handicap accessible (stairs).
Pro: clean bathroom.
Con: no bathroom counter; sink only
Pro: ample parking.
Con: poorly lit parking lot.
Pro: cost wasn’t too awful (I guess).
Con: they wouldn’t give me a receipt. I was told to get one from Expedia because that is who I booked through (wrong: it was hotels.com).
Pro: other guests were not too loud.
Con: view from the window was parking lot with large equipment trailer blocking the view of most of the parking lot. Could hear everything going on in the parking lot.
Pro: free breakfast.
Con: one little microwave for heating frozen pancakes or frozen breakfast burrito. No cream cheese for bagels. Only packaged muffins (one flavor, you’re screwed if you have nut allergies because it was banana walnut) for danish. Breakfast was pretty meager.
- John (7/5): Good -
