- Mon (1/5): - Unfortunately, during our stay both of us experienced repeated bites appearing after nights spent in the hostel room, which made us concerned about possible bed bugs. The reception staff and cleaning staff were always polite, kind and tried to help, including changing bedding and treating the mattresses. However, despite contacting management afterwards, our complaint was largely ignored and we never received a meaningful response from the manager. The situation caused us a lot of stress and significantly affected our stay.

The kitchen facilities were super nice, with access to everything you would need to cook. The washing machine took our money, but the staff immediately refunded us the money The eating area was just one big table, so you were forced to eat with everyone else. We stayed at the same time as a high school class, whom obviously were a bit loud in the common area

- Liina Emmi Lotta (8/5): Nice low-cost stay in a great location - The location is excellent if you travel by train/bus and you really get value for your money! The staff was very helpful and the common areas were very pleasant, I especially liked the library room for work/study. The served additional breakfast was very nice for the price. The room was clean but had already seen its best days. There were not handtowels in the bathroom (we got some when separately asked from the reception) and the beds were not very comfortable. It was sort of expected since it's a hostel not a hotel and the price of a private room was cheaper than an average hotel room. Overall the room served its purpose but it wasn't particularly nice.

- Robert (7/5): Ich würde wieder hier übernachten. - Die Lage war für mich super und der Preis für Antwerpen ok. Leider wird nur der Boden gesaugt und grob geputzt. Im Detail findet man in den Ecken und Dichtungen viel Staub. Die Zimmer haben Teppich-Boden. Die kann man natürlich nicht so gut reinigen. Es gibt nur einen kleinen Aufzug - da muss man schon etwas Geduld haben .....

The room was great I was in a room for 4 women, which was great, but there were no curtains on the beds, which would add to privacy + the lower bunk bed as really little space to sit. The bathroom was nice but having a 'window' to the shower felt weird

ASH is a school hostel. On that day, a group of students was staying there. It is highly impolite to tamper with other guests' luggage in the temporary storage area just for your own convenience.

- VASILIKI (8/5): Event in Antwerpen - The room was big and clean. The location was excellent. The staff polite. It was very quiet. The single bed was completely uncomfort. I had a very bad sleep.
- Michel (7/5): Good for the price. - We loved the location, it's close to the station. We also enjoyed how cheap it was. The room was clean, but not thoroughly cleaned (which is fair for the price). Our shower drain had to work overtime because the water took very long to clear. It also says there's soundproofing, but we could hear everyone going in & out of their rooms. We will come back if we're in the city again!

Omdat er geen andere kamers beschikbaar waren én inmiddels na middernacht was, had ik geen andere keuze dan de hele nacht wakker te blijven. Een andere lokatie zoeken kon immers niet meer.... Echter de financiële afhandeling (volledige restitutie ivm geen gebruik kunnen maken van een bed) is zowel bij ASH als bij Booking.com een drama! Terwijl ik Genius-3 niveau heb! Betekent dus niets!

The room was small, but perfectly sufficient for a short stay. The hotel is also very conveniently located close to bus and tram stops, which made getting around the city very easy. Overall, it’s an ideal place for exploring the city and staying for a few days. The bed was very comfortable <3 The only thing missing was a hair dryer — it would have been nice if the room had one.

The breakfast was good and the coffee was delicious. The staff was very very friendly and accommodating. The location is excellent, three minutes walking to the opera.

Less than half the price of anything else in Antwerp Staff very friendly. Location good. The room was basic (which we expected). Noise from main road woke us up multiple times in the night. Room was so warm (stayed early may) - we needed the windows open and a fan on all night. Would be awful in the summer! We’re a couple and just wanted an inexpensive place to say for a few nights. Did not have a hostel vibe though if that’s what you’re looking for. In fact, seemed to have a few local workmen checking in to the dorms. Wouldn’t stay again.

- Kristina (9/5): Good for one night - Hotel is very close to the center of Anwerp,and tram/train also reachable in 5-10minutes(as we came for a concert in Afas Dome) Hotel was clean and stuff was very friendly. Breakfast was good. We could leave our luggage for free after check out. We heard all noises at the corridors. Our bed was made of 2 matresses which were not connected and the whole night the one further from the wall was slipping away,it was very disturbing,so we did not sleep good. Breakfast was good but variety was very limited.

Big and beautiful kitchen with all necessary tools. The bunk beds ar terrible snd uncomfortable. The cheapest. If someone a bit moved during the sleep all bed moving and do not feel safe. Furthermore, if you on the second bunk beds floor. There is no space to put somewhere your phone. I keep it in the bed and during night it fell down. Successfully the not on other person below. You could make it some shelf and it not cost much.
