My favorite part of the hotel was the beautiful courtyard where you could go to relax and unwind after a long day of sightseeing. There wasn't really anything that we didn't like about the hotel. If I could find one thing that wasn't optimal it was the bathroom. After showering everything would be wet because of all the condensation that would build up on the tile.

Danielle (6/5): Bel emplacement mais le service n'est vraiment pas au rendez-vous. - L'emplacement et un très bon petit déjeuner La perte d'un sac dès notre arrivée qui n'était pas dans notre chambre mais attribué à un autre voyageur. La mauvaise voiture restituée au départ (???!), ce qui nous a occasionné de l'attente et donc un retard (et des embouteillages !). Sans oublier les 2 verres de vin offerts pour notre anniversaire de mariage, belle attention mais servis sans aucun accompagnement (même pas des cacahuètes ou un sourire !). Je ne recommande pas : le service n'est pas au rendez-vous du prix payé. C'est regrettable.

Eglantine (6/5): Un lieu très agréable où vous devez éviter les chb 108 et 120 à tout prix ! - Le jardin est magnifique au cœur de la ville, le spa très agréable, le petit exceptionnellement bon et varié, le personne au petits soins La chambre sur la rue 108, devant les poubelles et au dessus de la porte d’entrée de l’hôtel : non insonorisée et donc à chaque ouverte de la porte d’entré de l’hôtel vous entendez le glissement de parois en verre à toute heure du jour et de la nuit… Le 2eme chb donnait sur une gaine d’aération, certe calme mais « noire » sans lumière ni vue… extrêmement décevant eu égard aux prestations que cet hôtel promet, et délivre mais seulement pour partie.

MS (8/5): Tolle Lage, aber nicht für SPA-Aufenthalt geeignet - Tolle Lage SPA-Bereich lohnt sich nicht. Viel zu klein. Wenn man auf beides, tolle Lage und SPA-Möglichkeiten hofft, wird man hier enttäuscht. Wir wurden an der Rezeption sehr freundlich begrüßt aber konnten schon am ersten Tag gar nicht in den Wellnes-Bereich...Begründung: zu voll....das erwartet man nicht wenn man bucht. Das war der einzige Nachteil, dann sollte man als Hotel aber auch nicht damit werben.

Melarnie (10/5): Quiet calm hotel with amazing staff - This is truly a special little hotel in Florence. Suitable for couples, or families. Walking distance from the station and all the main tourist attractions this makes a great stop for a sightseeing holiday. It's located in a quieter area of Florence, so the streets are slightly calmer and less crushed than more central areas. Within the courtyard, very little street noise is heard and you can enjoy sipping your drinks while listening to birdsong! There is a small pool, that is very much there for resting weary feet and cooling off in the warmer months. The Spa team are so friendly and manage the pool very well to keep numbers sensible. (Book early to avoid disappointment). The rooms are beautiful and well maintained. We slept very well on the big comfy beds. The air-conditioning worked a treat on the hot days. The restaurant staff were so friendly and helpful. We felt at home immediately. The food was good. We did get confused by some of the portion sizes - one side salad could have fed all three of us! But it was all fresh and they adapted where needed for our Gluten Free family. If you're looking for more traditional Tuscan/Firenze meals, then maybe not for you. But we knew after a busy day sightseeing, there was also a good quality meal at the hotel waiting for us. I particularly liked the Beef Ragu and the Sea Bream. I cannot say enough about the staff at this hotel. They did whatever they could to make our stay special. We would absolutely stay here again.

estradacc629 (10/5): Duomo propinquity - The deluxe room was very spacious, and we especially loved the small balcony overlooking the garden — such a peaceful touch. Waking to the sound of the Duomo bells was simply beautiful. The staff was attentive throughout our stay, and the breakfast each morning was just right. The location is incredibly convenient to the train station, yet once inside, you would never know — it feels like a quiet retreat. Having an iron and ironing board in the room was an unexpected and much-appreciated convenience. Overall, it was the perfect hotel for our short stay in Florence.

L7676LEjamiel (8/5): Clean, comfortable stay with a few design considerations - The location of Palazzo Castri is convenient for exploring Florence, and the property itself is clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. Our stay was overall very good, and the hotel was quiet. The gardens also seem like they would be beautiful in warmer weather. That said, the experience felt more functional than special for us. It has more of a standard city hotel feel—busier and less personalized than what we typically prefer. If you’re planning to spend a lot of time across the Arno, you may want to consider a more central location. One important detail to be aware of: in our standard room, the bathroom had a pocket door with frosted glass panels that were not fully opaque. You could see into the bathroom and shower area from the room, which made privacy limited. Even as a couple, this felt a bit uncomfortable at times. We were told this design is consistent across rooms, so it’s something to consider—especially if traveling with a friend or family member. Our room faced the inner garden, which made it very quiet—we were able to sleep with the windows open. I’m not sure that would be the case for rooms facing the street. Overall, this is a solid hotel that served its purpose well—it just wasn’t quite the style of stay we personally gravitate toward.

Francois (10/5): Visite et détente à Florence - Nous avons beaucoup apprécié cet hôtel pour son calme, sa situation, sa belle vue depuis le balcon de notre chambre, son spa et son petit déjeuner. La station de tramway pour l'aéroport est à 10min à pieds et il y a un arrêt de bus juste devant l'hôtel ce qui est pratique pour aller dans certains quartiers éloignés. Nous aurions apprécié une attention particulière comme une bouteille de Proseco offerte dans la chambre ou un gâteau d'anniversaire car j'avais prévenu l'hôtel que nous venions pour fêter l'anniversaire de mon épouse.

Rooms Are clean , spacious enough and on the garden side nice and quiet. Bed was very comfortable . Breakfast was good though the eating area is a tight squeeze when everyone is there at the same time . The workout facility is also very small and limited in choice of weights. Due to the weather could not really enjoy the nice enclosed garden .
aaub19 (10/5): The calmest part of my trip - The hotel is in a great location, walkable to everything. Very close to the train station. They were able to store my luggage before my room was ready, which was great so I can walk around and not think about luggage. My things were safe, and they brought it to my room when my room was ready. The staff were extremely kind and genuine. Alice, at the front desk was especially helpful and very friendly. She made my stay great overall. I would definitely come back to this hotel when I return to Florence. It was peaceful, safe, and very clean and comforting.

Tout était parfait et le SPA, super bien organisé et très appréciable après une longue journée de marche,. Franchement de l extérieur on imagine pas un havre de paix comme ça en pleine ville. De plus super bien situé pour visité. Merci au personnel qui est vraiment sympathique. Je conseille aussi le service de parc, très rassurant dans le secteur 38euro les 24h mais ça vaut la peine. Andrea (9/5): Wunderschönes kleines Stadthotel - Die Einrichtung und Ausstattung ist sehr geschmackvoll- man fühlt sich gleich zuhause. Das Frühstück ist hervorragend und reichhaltig. Das Hotel verfügt über einen wunderschönen Garten mitten in Florenz. Es gab fast nichts zu beanstanden. Einzig der Umstand, dass der Wellnessbereich zu klein und zu voll war, hat uns bei diesem Besuch gestört. Ein Saunabesuch, bei dem man sich nicht im Anschluss nicht liegend entspannen kann, macht einfach keinen Spaß. (Es gibt indoor nur zwei liegen in einem winzigen Ruheraum.)

PATTY (8/5): Convenient location, clean with friendly staff - Property is close to train station (7-10 minute walk), central market (5 minutes), duomo/Uffizi (they are right next to each other 10-15 minutes), Pitti Palace (15-20 minutes walk). Where the hotel is located isn’t the nicest part of town but perfectly fine and with a big park across the street that has a great flea market every three weeks (on the weekends) if you hit it at the right time. The sounds carry in the hotel. People next door, people upstairs… so if you are sensitive to noisy, be sure to ask for a courtyard room (away from the street). There is a spa that requires booking in advance that’s a bit underwhelming and a bit small. They emphasize the spa in their description a lot but this is not a property that I would stay at for a spa experience.

MissJJE (10/5): Great city stay - The service and staff at this hotel are excellent - very helpful, cheerful and accommodating even when busy. The breakfast is brilliant - not a huge big buffet of processed cheap food but a carefully curated selection of great fruit, delicious pastries, hot items and plentiful fresh bread, cheese and fresh juices. It was perfect! The rooms are a little small for a long stay in the city (not unusual for a city hotel I suppose) but there's plenty of beautiful outdoor spaces to relax too so this didn't affect our stay. Lovely toiletries provided in the rooms too. We loved the location - great for wandering into the city in a few minutes and for that reason much better than some of the hotels right on the tourist streets. One thing I would ask of the hotel - can you provide some more storage in the rooms? For example bedside tables with drawers would be a great space saver and hooks for jackets by the door.
