- Gina (9/5): Perfect in every way - great location, great room, very friendly. - I totally loved my stay here. I had a room with my own roof terrace overlooking the church. It was perfectly located.
- Sergio (9/5): - Perfect location, Not enough hot water in the shower, but considering the warm weather it wasn't a big deal
- Cristina (10/5): I would come back - The hotel Is well located, postcard pretty and tastefully decorated for Dias de los muertos. The gentleman who welcomed me went above and beyond to help me and really made the difference
- Luis (10/5): -
- Bernarda (8/5): - Ubicación Baño muy incomodo
- Jackie (9/5): Charming boutique hotel with great location and friendly staff. - The views from the place, location and friendly staff. Noisy at night, singers on the square right below us do not seem to get tired way late I to the night or next morning…
- Maciej (10/5): - Excellent location and view. Beautiful traditional rooms and construction. Brick walls, wood beams, brick ceilings, tavalera bath fixtures, generous shower. The towels and sheets could smell fresher.

- Teiler (10/5): Incredibly charming studio room and balcony, amazing views of Taxco, and very central location! - Our stay at Hotel Mi Casita was incredible! The 'Studio with Balcony' room was such a charming and beautiful room with an amazing view of the Santa Prisca cathedral. The room was serviced each day to replenish our towels and soaps, and empty the waste bins. The hotel was in an amazing and convenient location—one short block away from the zocalo/cathedral. Before checking in, the staff were quick to communicate, very accommodating to any requests we had, and the check in/out process went very smoothly. The booking process was a little strange at first—after booking, the hotel reached out requesting a deposit payment via wire transfer. I understand why they would ask this of us but it was a little off putting at first. Ultimately the hotel didn't end up requiring this of us, so it wasn't a big deal at all.
One other small thing—the hotel didn't seem to have an office or lobby that you could visit in person in the event we needed anything, and that felt a little strange. Despite not having an office/lobby to visit, the staff was quick to communicate over WhatsApp, so this also didn't end up being a big deal.
- Crystal (10/5): Exceptional - The staff is very friendly, host Yurely Nataly was extremely helpful with a charming personality; the rooms are extremely clean, the places to visit are near to the hotel within minutes; there are plenty of options for restaurants nearby walking distance and the views from the rooms are amazing! I do recommend this hotel to anyone that’s traveling to find new adventures & unique experiences.
- Victor (10/5): Exceptional - Great location and excellent service! A lot of stairs. Not for handicapped people.
- Lisa (10/5): Quaint Hotel with charming rooms - The location, team , convenience, and cleanliness made for a great stay at a great value. I highly recommend these charming rooms. Not a thing
- Ricardo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Granic (8/5): Very good -
- Juliet (8/5): Very good - Very nice location, and a most helpful family-run business. Beautiful view of the town, coffee and a sweetbread in the morning, very clean and basic. The center of Taxco is enchanting, but it is not quiet. Nothing the hotel can do. The rooms vary a great deal in their decor. One of our rooms had extensive beautiful tilework, and the other was very bare bones.
- Oscar (7/5): Good location but hard access - Great location ' The access is complicated if you travel with luggage.
- Estefania (9/5): Good place for the weekend - The views from room Libros was great and it had a little table just outside the door. Perfect for watching the sunrise. The staff was very helpful with recommendations and accommodations. The bed was ok to sleep on. The mattress was not soft, but it was clean.
- Abigail (10/5): Exceptional -
- Olga (10/5): Exceptional - Location is very good. Staff is friendly. They bring me teapot to my room :) when I acked it. Nothing
- Mary (10/5): Will stay here again next trip. - Charming cozy inn in great location, 2 minute walk to main square. Extremely friendly helpful staff.
- Perla (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julien (7/5): Good -
- Benjamin (6/5): OK place to stay, but expensive for what you get relative to other possible locations - Good location close to center of Taxco. Rooms are well-maintained. - Advertises as providing breakfast, but claims to have discontinued service due to the pandemic and does not even provide coffee, tea, etc.. No facilities provided for guests to set up their own breakfast (ex: coffee maker, refrigerator, kitchen access, etc.)
- No gate keys given to guests, instead you have to buzz in/buzz out. Very tedious.
- Minimal customer service. Staff did not even really welcome us.
- Limited privacy in some of the rooms, as one side is windows/glass doors which allow for noise to come into/out of the room.
- Tina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joel (9/5): Beautiful hotel, great staff - Beautiful hotel in the central area with lovely views of the city and a highly accommodating staff. Would definitely stay here again! Put sugar and creamer with the coffee set. Should warn people about the spiral staircase - I'm older and have a bad knee but it was do-able
- Clark (5/5): Passable - The price
- Katia (10/5): Exceptional - Location is amazing!!
- Magdalena (10/5): - Cute colonial hotel. Nothing fancy but very clean and staff was very nice.
- Lisa (9/5): Very cute hotel and lovely staff - The staff were lovely, great location from the center, great night's sleep, very accommodating, clean room with a good amount of space.
- Amanda (10/5): Stunning views, cozy room. Highly recommend. - Beautiful hotel in an amazing location. The staff were kind and welcoming and very helpful with information about the city.
- Miki (8/5): Good for a one night stay. - The location is perfect. The property is lovely. I bet one of the nicer places to stay in Taxco. Taxco is hilly so be prepared to walk up a lot. Wonderful view from our room which was on the top floor. The downside is the noise from the streett and elsewhere. Though I am unsure you can avoid this anywhere you stay in Taxco. If you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs.
- Ruben (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thomas (9/5): Quaint hotel so close to la Plazuela, lovely touches throughout & very friendly staff - No running water for about a half hour at 830 am the day of checkout
- Sarah (6/5): Pleasant - The room was a good size and had all of the basics - towels, shampoo, soap. We were also given a fan and the room was clean. There was no bottled water in the room, which has been given in other hotels we’ve stayed in in Mexico. There was no safety deposit box.
Also, to flag, the hotel is adjacent to the plaza of another, much larger hotel. There was a wedding happening on the plaza the night we stayed and music was playing very loudly (the windows of our room were vibrating) until 1am - it’s unclear whether this is a regular occurrence, or if we were just unlucky, but perhaps something to bear in mind if you’ll be staying on a Saturday.
- Patricia (7/5): Good -
- Cathal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Guillermo (9/5): Superb -
- Rick (8/5): - No breakfast
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Itay (10/5): Exceptional - gorgeous view, private entrance, very charming apartment lots of stairs to get to this, this is all of Taxco it’s very hilly.
- Jerome (9/5): Superb -
- Josshgg (10/5): Exceptional - The decorations I didn't receive directions of the parking and had to contact them for it
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lisa (10/5): - A magical, whimsical, romantic hotel in a magical, whimsical, romantic city!
- Joe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Enrique (8/5): - Very simple and charming
- Judith (9/5): The staff was very attentive. - location, beauty all was great
- Juan (9/5): Superb -
- mario (8/5): - The property is quint and centrally located. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The panoramic view from the balcony is beautiful and breathtaking.
Two items of mild concern, the flight of stairs that it takes to get to their rooms can be a bit debilitating, but well worth it. And make sure to alert the staff whenever the hot water runs out. Both aforementioned items would not deter us from returning to Mi Casita.
- Ana (10/5): Exceptional - The style and set up... Beautiful views!
- Jennifer (9/5): Superb -
- Mayay (9/5): Superb - Great location, less than 1 minute walk from the zocalo. Quiet even on the crowded weekend.
Friendly staff who willing to help (spanish speakers only). You don't get a key to the main gate. You need to ring the bell in order to get in & out. And in some occasions it took a while to get a response
Though the room was very clean, there were some small ants.
- Judy (10/5): Exceptional - The design, the history, the very welcoming hospitality of Rosalia and Marta! nothing I can think of
- Leslie (2/5): very very noisy all through the night - It was clean but basic Horrendous traffic noise all through the night. To make matters worse there is a disco playing very loud music very close until 3 am both nights.
Had very little sleep both nights as it was so noisy.. Would not stay here again.
Retirado.
- Ruth (10/5): - Love that hotel, excellent location. Amazing view
- Luis (10/5): Martha, receptionist was very nice and welcoming! She did make us feel at home. - Location was great, a few steps from main central. No air conditioning, but it’s a little chilly in the morning!
- Peter (7/5): We loved the location and decorations. - The view from the terrace. The private balcony was very small. It was suitable for standing upright and looking outside.
- Dave (10/5): Great guesthouse and would certainly stay there again. - A beautiful historic building with a great staff in a central location. The private rooftop patio with a great view was a plus. Parking was a hassle, but that's the nature of Taxco and not a surprise.
- Pauline (9/5): Superb -
- Luis (8/5): Very good -
- Krystal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Angelique (10/5): Incredible location and views!! Couldn’t have found a better stay for our time in Taxco - perfect location and the views were amazing!! Cosy room with outside balcony to sit and enjoy the mountains and town. Could spend all day just sitting out there! close to the best cafes and in the heart of the centro though secluded enough to be peaceful. Friendly staff and rooms cleaned well. Great value for money! Rooms and bed a little small though it worked. can hear outside noise as windows and doors not very sound proof. A fridge in the room would be perfect though they do let you use their kitchen one.
- Jeffrey (10/5): Taxco visit - Very comfortable place to stay with a friendly staff.
No vuelvo
