• Smith (9/5): Exceptionally Clean & Comfortable Room within easy walking distance of Aberdeen Airport - Situated less than five minutes walk from Aberdeen Airport passenger terminal you couldn’t ask for a more convenient location when embarking upon an early morning flight from that airport. The location is also very convenient for the heliport, nearby training centres, and 727 bus route to and from Aberdeen city centre. In addition the room was quiet, comfortable, well equipped, and exceptionally clean. Nothing to add here. I didn’t use the restaurant or bar during my visit so cannot comment on either of those.

• David (9/5): It’s a premium Hotel that delivers. Quality place to stay and get some rest before or after flying. - Very clean, very efficient and an overall feeling of quality. The restaurant and bar was a nice place to be, and the food was very b good indeed. Every Staff member I encountered was super polite and friendly. Nothing not to like.

• philroelich (4/5): Disinterested Staff - From check in to checking out the 1 night stay was painful! When I arrived to reception, instead of being welcomed with a warm smile and a “welcome to the crowne plaza” I could barely command the receptionists attention to get more than a sharp “hi” stunned I stood there for a minute expecting her to give the welcome you expect, instead just another short sharp hi. Followed by “well I need your name to check you in” The hotel itself is clean, the rooms very nice and the room service prompt. Went down for breakfast and met with the most unenthusiastic greeting, no explanation of if it was a buffet self service. Spoke to the front of desk manager who couldn’t really give two hoots, but thanked me for bringing it to his attention nonetheless. It would seem that standards at this Crowne Plaza are nothing like other Crowne Plazas I have stayed at previously. Such a shame

• cherub85 (10/5): An unexpected stay which was very good! - Very good stay. My flight was unexpectedly diverted to Aberdeen and no onwards travel sorted. So needed to find a hotel quickly. Booked into holiday inn but when I arrived there was a sign on the door saying to go to Crown plaza next door. Reception were so helpful and sorted me with two items I needed. Room was comfortable and had everything I needed. Breakfast was also good. The staff stood out - they were all so helpful and friendly.
• stevebintley (10/5): Smart and cosy hotel - I really like this hotel and it’s my favourite in the airport area. All the staff throughout are brilliant and the welcome from reception is always fantastic. Some of the rooms on the top floor have amazing views over the airport and combined with the dark cosy decor are lovely spaces. Large beds, relaxing arm chair with footstool, big TV and plenty of storage makes them really comfortable rooms, even for an extended stay. Electric sockets are at both sides of the bed, there’s good lighting options and the air-conditioning works well. The bathroom is spacious enough and just as clean and modern as the main room. The walk-in shower is very large and the toiletries plentiful and decent. There was a good number of towels provided too. The breakfast was decent enough with a nice mix of hot and cold items on the buffet and fruit. The area makes a good restaurant in the evening too, with friendly staff and varied menu, plus the bar is pretty nice too. Overall it’s a nice hotel and suitable for more than just an airport stopover - I’ll be staying many more times.

• Philip (9/5): Perfect location hotel - Second time we have stayed here due to its proximity to the airport and P&J Live where we were attending an event. An easy walk from the airport, a longer walk to the venue but a short bus ride. Always a cheery welcome even when arriving quite early there was a room ready for us. Our room was on the second floor, quite big enough for the two of us for the few days we were staying and, as we were out most of the day. Lovely bathroom with a great shower. Breakfast is mainly buffet style but with hot items that can be ordered. One of the better hotel buffet breakfasts we have had. Really nothing to dislike here.

Staff friendly, rooms clean, beds comfy. Had a couple of requests and handled very well. Had a chance to use the club lounge and it’s a very enjoyable space. Definitely will return.

The room was impeccably clean and thoughtfully presented, the dining experience in the restaurant was excellent, and the staff delivered outstanding service throughout my stay. Staff were really friendly. food in the restaurant was very good quality - I did send my steak back and this was promptly recooked to my original request medium rare. The gym is fine for what it is, airport hotel. There were broken items, handles broken off the leg machine, torn straps for cable handles.
