- maupiace (7/5): Centralissimo B&B, panorama dal tetto stupendo - Il B&B si trova nel centro storico di Ragusa Superiore, adiacente alla cattedrale dedicata a San Giovanni Battista. Fabio, il proprietario ci ha accolto all’arrivo, anzi aveva tenuto un posto di parcheggio nella via, e ha inserito la targa dell’auto a noleggio nel data base dei residenti per le giornate di permanenza. La struttura si articola in 5 stanze, ognuna dedicata ad un poeta siciliano (Quasimodo la nostra), che si raggiungono con un paio di rampe di scale. Inoltre dispone di una terrazza con l’area colazione, aperta sui tetti circostanti e sulla cattedrale, però Fabio ci ha detto che non avrebbero servito lì la colazione dato il periodo invernale: l’abbiamo fatta nell’ottima pasticceria Vernuccio, nei pressi del palazzo delle Poste. La terrazza era comunque a disposizione, e ci siamo fatti un paio di caffè, e usufruito del frigorifero per acqua minerale e succo di frutta. Le camere sono confortevoli, bagno discreto, buon sonno. Un suggerimento: la doccia non si regola bene tra caldo e freddo, forse un po’ intasata di calcare, necessita di manutenzione.

- Lucía (7/5): B&B bien ubicado - B&B bien ubicado para visitar Ragusa. Fabio fue muy simpático a nuestra llegada. El desayuno fue en un bar cercano con una pieza de bollería a elegir y una bebida. Hay un pequeño frigorífico en la habitación que se agradece. Bien climatizado. La habitación y el baño no estaban tan limpios como esperábamos. Había arena por el suelo y la ducha/WC no estaban muy limpios. Se escucha muchísimo a las personas de la habitación de al lado. La luz de las escaleras no funcionaba, lo cual era un problema durante la noche (desde las 17h) para subir varias plantas sin móvil y linterna a mano.

La vista dall alto viene conquistata dalle scale che si devono fare x raggiungere camere e terrazza x la colazione che però ripaga la fatica. Camere accoglienti, deve essere un po' migliorata la gestione pulizie.

The room had a great view, is quiet with a very comfortable bed and is in a very central location. It had everything we needed for our short stay. - Caroline (8/5): Convenient, clean, and a good place to be based. - Location very good for access to both areas of Ragusa. We went to one of the recommended restaurants and it was excellent. The roof terrace was a bonus for having breakfast and relaxing in the afternoon sunshine. It was very kind to be brought pastries for breakfast but ideally we would have liked them to be plain rather than very sweet. We know this is Italian but we are British and prefer savoury/plain breakfasts!

- COURTIAL (10/5): - Nous avions pris la chambre supérieure qui donne sur une très agréable terrasse où le petit déjeuner nous attend chaque matin. Calme, tranquillité et vue sur la cathédrale San Giovanni éclairée le soir... un havre de paix ! Vraiment génial. Être à Raguse superior permet de rejoindre Ibla à pieds par plein d’escaliers avec des points de vues magnifiques et le bus 2 ou 3 pris face au jardin nous ramène à l’arrêt san Giovanni qui est tout près du B&B. Fabio nous a permis d’arriver le matin car notre bus arrivait tôt. Il est agréable, serviable et on le voit ! (Pas de boîte à clefs ici !!). De la gare de bus le n°8 nous a aussi déposé à San Giovanni qui est la place centrale de Raguse superior. Donc logis facilement accessible en bus et très calme ! La douche n’est vraiment pas large !!

Ci ha accolte per il check in e ci ha dato diverse tips sulla cittá di Ragusa e consigli per cosa fare e dove mangiare. Stanza molto pulita e accogliente.

Il terrazzo offre una vista meravigliosa, soprattutto la sera. L’host è stato molto gentile e disponibile, consigliandoci anche ristoranti davvero validi in zona.

- Marianna (5/5): Decadenza totale - La posizione centrale La decadenza. Sporco ovunque, parti comuni e camera. Il bagno era sporchissimo, ho dovuto arrangiarmi per pulirlo, polvere ovunque, l’acqua del bidet faceva fatica ad uscire, lo scarico che perdeva e si sentiva durante la notte, il terrazzo abbandonato a se stesso, guano di piccioni ovunque, uno addirittura era appollaiato sul bancone vicino al cartone del latte…. In camera lampade piene di polvere, addirittura in uno dei comodini c’era una t-shirt puzzolente dimentica lì chissà da quanto. La luce nelle scale che funzionava 1 volta si e 10 no. L’host totalmente assente, lo abbiamo visto solo al check-in e poi basta. Abbiamo segnalato il problema della luce, che però in 3 giorni non è stata sistemata. A causa di problemi di parcheggio dovuti alla festa del Santo Patrono, siamo stati costretti a contattarlo ma siamo stati trattati come degli stolti. Credo che chi decida di fare questo tipo di lavoro debba prima di tutto curare la struttura nei minimi dettagli (la pulizia prima di tutto!) e poi fornire supporto ai clienti che pagano! Enjoy

Te ofrece recomendaciones de que ver y donde comer. La habitación estaba muy limpia y era preciosa. Cama muy grande y muy cómoda. El baño impecable. Tiene una terraza espectacular donde desayunas. Vistas preciosas y desayuno muy rico.

- Viktorija (2/5): - Domaćin nam je čuvao mjesto za parking te dao nekoliko prijedloga di bi mogli večerati. Soba je imala mali hladnjak. Soba i kupatilo su bili prljavi kao da nitko nije oprao nakon prošlih gostiju, a tuš kabinu možda i duže... Klima jako sporo i slabo hladi. Ponuda doručka nije velika, dobili smo 3 mala kroasana, prepečenac, malu marmeladicu i bocu vode. Kavu smo morali sami skuhati, bile su samo male plastične čaše za espresso te nismo imali gdje zagrijati mlijeko za napravititoplu kavu sa mlijekom ili cappuccino.

Biggest bed I've had in 2 weeks in sicily and a decent sized cold fridge. God shower however runs very hot. Great location. Shower runs too hot, need to run the hot water tap to siphon off some of the pressure. No cold water in the bathroom sink. Aircon needs a service, rattles and struggles to cool the room despite running cold enough.

La terraza chulissima con las vistas. - El desayuno riquíilisimo, con bollería típica siciliana, pasamos un rato muy agradable hablando con el dueño , nos enseñó muchas cosas sicilianas - Ubicación perfecta para ir paseando a Ragusa Ibla Nuestra estancia fue perfecta.

Rien à dire la dessus. Par contre, le réfrigérateur ne fonctionne pas correctement. Sa porte ne ferme pas complètement.Le beurre est mou. Le lait et les jus divers en plein soleil. La chaîne du froid n’est pas respectée. Je n’ai osé boire un jus de fruit ni prendre du lait Tout cela au milieu d’un joli bazar qui n’est pas très propre. Bref à améliorer sérieusement ! Absence de fruits ou de pain frais

- Giancarlo (6/5): - Con un po’ di difficoltà’ ma è’ venuto a prenderci in strada perché’ non riuscivamo a trovare il modo di arrivare in auto e ha fornito il bollitore, tante scale per arrivare ..ha aiutato per il bagaglio all’andata ma non al ritorno praticamente check-in alle 17 altrimenti sconveniente..mi sembra esageratamente tardi..viceversa check-out alle 10, troppo presto..la stanza non pulitissima, troppissime scale,
- Linnéa (10/5): Bra läge och fantastisk service! - Väldigt bra läge i Ragusa med nära till restauranger. Kostnadsfri parkering nedanför på gatan i mån av plats. Fabio är en fantastisk värd! På grund av senaste dagarnas dåliga väder kunde han inte ordna frukost på terassen men löste det smidigt med fribiljetter till en pasticceria i närheten med ljuvliga cornetti. Väldigt hjälpsam och serviceminded! Terassen använde vi mycket till lättare middagar.

- chris (10/5): beyond happy with B&B - The hosts Fabio and Tattianna were amazing we felt like we were visiting family because we were treated like family. The B&B was extremely clean and comfy and the room was large. the top floor terrace was always available I do miss sittng at the table over looking the cathedral. The location in town was perfect close to everything. if we are in Ragusa again we will only stay here. thank you two for making Ragusa feel like home. leaving
- Lutz (6/5): Für ältere Leute, welche schlecht zu Fuß sind ungeeignet und sonst vielleicht gut für eine Nacht. - Parken konnte man günstig und unproblematisch in der Nähe auf der Straße. Es wurde auch Hilfe dazu angeboten. Der Empfang und die Schlüsselübergabe war herzlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten vielleicht noch das beste Zimmer in einem ansonsten sehr altem und verwinkelten Altbau. Unser Zimmer war im Haus ganz oben (3. oder 4. Etage) hinter eine Dachterrasse nur über mehrere schmale und steile Treppen zu erreichen. Die Dachterrasse und teilweise auch das gebuchte Zimmer war leider in keinem guten Zustand. Sie wird auch nicht mehr als Bar oder Frühstücklokation benutzt auch wenn man sich in durchgesessenen Stühlen dort aufhalten kann. Das einfache Frühstück gab es in einem etwa 600 m entfernten Eckcafe.

- Jaime (10/5): Espectaculares vistas - El anfitrión, Fabio, es muy amable. Nos ayudó en todo. Incluso para aparcar. El sitio es muy agradable y cómodo. Está muy bien situado y tiene una terraza espectacular.

- Nathalie (8/5): - L'emplacement est à 2 pas de la cathédrale et à 2 pas d'un parking payant. Les chambres sont très agréables et joliment décorées. La terrasse sur le toit est très sympa mais le soir il n'y a pas de lumière pour pouvoir y passer un peu de temps et le matin, en tous cas en cette période, le petit déjeuner se prend dans une boulangerie proche de l'établissement et non sur la terrasse, ce qui est très dommage.
- Nigel (1/5): Of 9 places we stayed in Sicily, this was the worst. - Reasonable position. We stayed for 1 night. The room had a high window which let light in permanently. The TV was fine if you like pixellation. We had checked that there would be a gluten free breakfast for my wife. We were told that breakfast would not be at the property but at a pasticceria 10 minutes away. When we went there they had nothing gluten free at all. My wife had a hot chocolate for breakfast and I was allowed to have 1 croissant and 1 cup of coffee. We saw Fabio on checking out and he wasn't exactly apologetic. We couldn't leave our bags at the property after checkout, but a very helpful lady at Tourist Information looked after them for us while we explored Ragusa Ibla.
- Polymnia (8/5): A cosy hotel in the center of Ragusa, very nice rooms, a wonderful roof terrace with views! - Check what "breakfast" means when you book if it is important for you: is it an italian coffee with a sweet or is it a english/american breakfast. It means different things in different countries. We came in low season so for us it was "cappuccino with italian sweet /croissant" which is not what we concider as a breakfast... Newly renovated hotel, very nice. A lot of stairs though, may be of importance for some travellers. The host was very welcoming and offered a bottle of wine so we could rest with a glass of wine om the absolutely fantastic roof terrace! Some problems with the hot water, difficult to regulate it...
