Guest Reviews
- Aleksandr (8/5): - Good property, matches to expectations
Quite clean
Polite staff
Convenient location
- Claudia (4/5): - Good price but the hotel needs a lot of love.
We had a cleanliness issue.
Great location but things have to change.
- Mohammed (6/5): - Unfortunately restaurant admin is rude and not respectful to guests. I had 2 rooms and paid for rooms and Breakfast. I stayed one night and my sister and her husband stayed 2 nights. When we came to breakfast she said only one room is paid breakfast for 2 persons. I told her to go to reception and solve this issue with them. I checked out yesterday and this morning she started again with my sister asking her to pay for the breakfast that I had taken the day before. My sister called me and I talked to the lady over the phone and explained I paid I full for rooms. D breakfast and I’ve a receipt for that. Again she came to my sister’s room and asked her to pay.
So rude and unfriendly.
At the end she solved the issue with reception and unfortunately no one called to apologize
- Timothy (6/5): - Rooms were supposed to be non smoking but smelled like smoke had to move to new room but same thing they did have someone come by and spray but only last a bit. Has carpet but had to wear shoe because carpet was sticky. Wife got bit by bed bugs or something. Front desk polite and friends other staff also friendly and helpful. Hotel needs up grades and says free breakfast but does not have it he restaurant was closed down.
- Nessim (10/5): - The hotel is clean and the stuff is friendly and helpful.
- Ferruh (4/5): - This property was supposed to be 4 star. It should be 2 star at best. Nowhere near other 3 star hotels like Premier Inn etc. Run down and aged. Food wasnt great either.
- Abid (2/5): - very close to shopping area, quite and safe. But very very dirty and falling apart, Room was very old, chairs were broken, rug was century years old, full of ever stick mud. TV was analog in this digital world. air vents full of dust. Rest room was horrible, full of molds all around, leaking toilet drain, Half uncovered shower, so water all over floor after taking shower. The world worst hotel I ever experienced, and definitely will never ever go back to this hotel, complete waste of money.
- Melinda (10/5): - Clean and spacious room, good service
- Ahmad (10/5): - Friendly and helpful staff

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Stay was great as always. Amazing customer service always when I stay here. Always made to feel welcome. Also, one of the staff Nishad goes out of his way to always help us during our stay!
- Muhammad (8/5): - Check in time was lengthy
- Abdulqadir (6/5): - The hotel requires to be updated as there is a very strong smell of mould.
Good location but hotel is not appealing.
- MAIERDANJIANG (10/5): - Good
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel is a walking distance to the city center and metro train.
The hotel was comfortable and quiet.
- SamK. (8/5): - Pleasant stay, room was clean, odor-free and the bed was comfortable. This was an older building but it seemed to be well-maintained. Two ladies at the front desk were friendly, helpful and super-efficient.
- Sam (8/5): - Room was big and clean. The property was old and outdated but it seemed to be well-maintained. Staff was exceptionally efficient and friendly.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Staff friendly, helpful, professional. Enjoyed rooftop pool. Breakfast was very good.
- Matthew (6/5): - The shower water was coming out the tub
So there was water all over the bathroom
The tv was all in Arabic no English at all to understand
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I liked the stay , good night sleeps, comfortable, nice staff hospitality and fine hotelilality.
And I do have a suggestion to the hotel management that the floor is carpeting, overtime can get very dirty, best is to use mosaic or wood flooring, unless they shampoo the carpet every week., but not a big deal anyhow, I recommend, if you go to Dubai, this is a good hotel.
- Saud (4/5): - The reception staff dont relay in reality, they try to show of and normally they dont have enough informations at all.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very good location. Close to Deira City Centre and Metro. Quiet area
- zaki (2/5): Very bad hotel and dirty room with old furniture - Very old furniture
Bathroom smell at the time
Dirty windows
20 century fridge
We haven’t been given the Top floor promised
Breakfast not worth at all
Very less option
Plus much more bad things
- Thomas (10/5): - I found the hotel was extremely friendly, quiet and restful.
all transport and shopping within easy walk
Would be very happy to stay there again
- Michael (10/5): Great stay - Excellent staff, remembers me from previous stays. Always helpful. Clean and quite hotel. Very responsive
- Michael (10/5): A safe place to stay - The Al Jawhara Gardens hotel is a friendly, quite, safe hotel and I have been going there about five times a year for the past three years. I will continue to stay there. It is very close to the City Centre. The staff is excellent.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice hotel with friendly staff. Just a few trimmings need to be improved like gowns and had to ask for iron and iron board and the iron wasn't a steam iron.
- parameswara (4/5): na - my experience is not that great.
first day when i complain about room, they say they will change room and it never happen, they do not care after several requests. mirror in the room was broken and i really has to trouble to adjust.
i do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
- HAVIN (8/5): - Close to the airport, but very quiet. Staff service is very good, providing airport shuttle bus 40DHS
- Hassan (2/5): Worst service ever in a reception - Worst scenario ever to be in a hotel with the worst check in at the end I didn’t check in and left the hotel even before I check in
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Well taken care of. Has bigger potential to be better. Very good location.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It is extremely close to the Deira City Centre Mall. The restaurant in the hotel is good and the prices are reasonable. The hotel is quiet and the staff checks in to make sure you are well care for.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Hotel is in a business area so few local restaurants or shops. Deira City Centre mall and metro easy walking distance. Hotel is a bit tired & seems to cater for Chinese coach parties so was full of noisy people! Bed and bedroom chairs extremely UNcomfortable. Bathroom clean but dated & needed refitting. OK for a day or two near the airport but not suitable for longer than that. Better alternatives in the area.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Average hotel, cheap price, close to airport - The hotel is fine. Has all the basics and is close to the airport and shopping mall. Nothing apecial but then again its a cheap hotel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Good location, next to metro station and a mall, very nice staff and really clean
- Ola (10/5): Close to amenities - I had a great time at the hotel with wonderful staffs
- maslah (10/5): Nice hotel close mall - Nice hotel good food friendly staff close mall easy transport
- RASHED (8/5): Nice and clean - Nice clean hotel .
No enough electricity blog. And no one close to bed..
Not allowed for guests.
otherwise it's good .
- Demola (8/5): Nice and close to the mall - Myself and my wife was there for 3 nights without any problems, we are able to travel around without any difficulties
- Michael (8/5): Key - Expect the issues with door key, I had a pleasant stay. The staff tried their finest to help me with the key but the technology wouldn't budge. I had to try numerous times just to get in my own room which was quite painful. But the hotel was very peaceful an ideal location for rest and relaxation. The location is close to Restaurants, Mall and Metro making it one of the best hotels for the budget.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - They charge extra 15 uae money for
Travel taxes and nothing in room for essentials stuff
- Lionel (8/5): My overnight - I enjoyed my time there although I couldn't stay for long. Service was tip top.
- javid (6/5): Rooms are nice - Breakfast is same everyday and boaring. Cheap quality breakfast fast
- MOHAMMAD (6/5): Not a 4 star hotel. - First they gave us a very bad room in 7th floor. Cofee table and curtains were filty.
Air condition and fridge had problem. After first night and a big fight, they changed our room. This is not a real 4 star hotel. It may be a 3 star hotel. Very bad management. Unorganized stuff.
- Verified traveler (8/5): DUBAI trip - Our stay was very comfortable
Pick up and drop off arrangements were excellent - driver was waiting with sign upon TRIPour arrival
Quite reassuring after a long day of traveling
- Sameh (8/5): - For the last several years it is my home away from home
All my trips to Dubai I stay in this Hotel
- booker (8/5): Close to airport - Very nice and very helpful staff. Close to airport.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I always stay in this hotel. Staff aRe vary nice. I recommend to all my family.
- Aboubaker (8/5): Nice hotel close to shopping - Very good location, courteous staff and good service
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Great value for money! Rooms were abit dated but fine
- Geoffrey (8/5): Holiday - Close to Airport and the Hop On Hop Off Bus which will take you to all the attractions.Hotel was very comfortable and staff very friendly. As we had an early flight ,the hotel packed us a great breakfast.Taxi's are not expensive in Dubai.
- Nkechi (10/5): Great Hotel all the way - All the staff were courteous and professional all the way. The meals were great!! All amenities were impressive and above all, I got a deal rate for my room.
- Margaret (8/5): Nice hotel, excellent facilities. - Had a pleasant 3 day stay. Close to Metro station. Breakfast was excellent and the staff very willing to help. Comfortable beds
- Verified traveler (6/5): Ok because it is family style - It depends who helps you at the counter.
Sometimes they give you clean room some times old room smelly smoking and so on.
When they know you are from Expedia they get disappointed and will put you in a vary old room. Unwanted room not remodeled.
- Farhad (6/5): 10 minutes walk to the metro station - The location was not bad as the Deira city center was just 5-7 minutes walk and metro station about 10 minutes, however,They didn"t clean the room properly, did not wash the glasses at all ,we complained about the situation a couple of times but nothing changed.
In one of two rooms we booked there were many small insects moving very fast on the TV table and spoil the food. They woudnt put toilet paper, shower gel or soup unless you ask for them.
- Verified traveler (4/5): It is not a good place to stay - The bed wasn't clean, the cups were not clean, worse at all was that I have stayed at 4th floor and construction work in progress on the 5th floor , makes it impossible to rest
- Kwok (8/5): Convenient hotel in Dubai - This hotel is well located, good service and friendly staff. The only downside was the "stale" smell of the building.
- Michael (6/5): Not up to standards of other Dubai hotels - TV did not work but we stayed only 3 hours due to flight connection.
- Retired teacher (8/5): Nice hotel close to airport
- Staff excellency Breakfast excellent. 24 hour restaurant very good.
- Neidy (8/5): Convenient location - Good stay for the money
- Haq (10/5): Lovely hotel - The hotel was located about 15 mins from the airport which made coming in and going out very easy.
There was no flight noise and very convenient location. The staff were very friendly and the service at the hotel was really good. There was plenty of shops nearby and the hotel had its own underground parking.
The room we stayed in was really nice and clean, the only thing that would have been nice is a nice view out of the window.
- Rohaiya Binte (8/5): Near shopping mall and clean room all the time! - I came early morning. No trouble with luggage storage. However during check-in, they take a while to "search" a room for me. I heard over the phone, the room is not ready and I was there to check in at 4pm - 2 hours after their check-in time. The female staff wasn't attentive enough until the male staff pointed over the computer the other room was actually available.
Room was clean and spacious. There's a pool at the rooftop. The bed is very comfortable. I would like to compliment the room attendant for his excellent service. Always come back with bedsheet neatly tucked, rubbish thrown, fresh towels.. thank you!
The location was just 10mins walk to the Deira City Centre and metro station and 10-15 minutes away from the airport.
- Belal (4/5): Not 4 star - It was normal, not that enjoyments
- graham (6/5): 3 star place close to airport - Room ok, AC average, bedroom was not cleaned despite requests, shower head blocked as was the drain, again reported but not fixed. Pool ok but small, staff very friendly and helpful.
- Hinrikus (10/5): - Good location, excellent WiFi and close to the metro
- Verified traveler (10/5): Clean, convenient, and restful hotel - Very pleasant stay overall. This hotel is quiet and relaxing and the staff is attentive to customers' need and service. This is my third stay here and I will continue to stay here anytime I am in Dubai. For the price, you get a great deal and the location to the airport and nearby shopping can't be beat.
- Verified traveler (8/5): to be near to the airport - I would like to stay this hotel if you want to be close to the airport
- Saleh (2/5): - So noisy you could hear the neighbours I couldn't sleep till 5 AM in the morning because my people next door kept screaming and playing TV with high volume. I talked to the reception but with no use
- Michael (10/5): Staying at the Al Jawhara Gardens Hotel - I have stayed it this hotel on six different occasions over the past two (2) years and it always has a great staff and the dinning is very good. The location is within a very short walk of the City Centre. I plan on staying there again in the near future.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Old and run down - The hotel room was very old and run down. The tub felt like it was going to cave in. The hotel staff was very nice and friendly.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel in the heart of city close to beach - Had a great time and the service was great at the hotel. Close to everything in the city. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
- William Ocean (2/5): Hotel is okay, restaurant great but terrible staff - Some staffs at the hotel are nice but the security staff are very terrible, They discriminate a lot, especially one called Mr Ashraf, He has no respect for anyone especially if he realizes you are a Christian or Black, I think He is racist, This is not a hotel for Christians or any black should ever book.. moreover you will be embarrassed if you receive any visitor, within 10 minutes , THEY will call u and order your visitor to leave... Infact, the hotel itself is nice but the way they handle their customers makes it , The WORST HOTEL STAFFS I HAD EVER SEEN IN DUBAI
- Solo raveller (8/5): Good hotel - Nice and comfortable hotel within reach of airport and city centre
- Guled (10/5): Nice hotel hotel close to the mall - Great service. I would like to stay next time I visit Dubai.
- Jonid (10/5): Shopping DCC - Great service. Good value.
- BMak (8/5): - The location is very convenient, will recommend for next time to Dubai.
- Mohammed (10/5): This is a very nice hotel close to the Airport - the hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. Hotel staff were very prompt. Room service crew attended to cleaning almost twice daily. There was never a problem. The hotel group is trying to obtain a five-star rating and they offered a free upgrade to a larger room on the third floor. The remodeling may start soon. food was excellent and reasonably priced.
- Kamal (8/5): Very good hotel to stay in. - it was good the people in the hotel are helpful, breakfast and food are excellent. its location is near good mall (Dera city center) and the commercial area & metro station. there are many cafeteria and coffee shop around, in general it is in good area which you can find what ever you want or like.
- Verified traveler (10/5): like home - the hotel was comfortable, feel like at home, specially had a good night sleep
- Annie (6/5): Good for overnight stay - Shuttle bus service a winner. Good for an overnight stay but room was so small. Very squeezy for a couple. Clean. Chose this hotel for location, price and the fact that breakfast was included. Close to shops and local restaurants.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Good - The service was very good but the air conditioning really bad most of the time not working!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Very good Hotel with friendly staff - The metro Station and City Center Mall was inthronisiert Near. This was Great and the Hotel is very clean and Luxus
- Ricardo (2/5): Dump - Checking in this hotel was one of the worst experience I have had.
The front desk the exception of either Sunny or Shaddy, Front Office Manager and the General Manager honestly tried to correct it but it was too late.
Shaddy was about the only front desk agent with customer service experience, Usha, Sandip and others were very horrible.
My experience at this hotel was horrible
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel - We took the metro to the hotel from airport, only a few stops away. It is nice hotel near a big shopping center.
- sherryl (6/5): Small rooms - Room is small, 2 twin beds but so close to each Other, first night stay AC is not working, complained about it but took another day to fix it. Building look so old, pictures online is when they first built it thats why it looks better, nice staff though, but definitely wont come back to this hotel, sorry...
- Todd (8/5): Good Hotel for a 24 hour layover - Comfortable room with exceptional bathroom facilities. Very limited English language TV is only downside.
- Elizabeth (10/5): - We got at the Hotel at 9:00 am, just to drop ours suitcases and check in later, but the guy in the reception, Mr. Hammoud let us check in, it was really helpful. The Hotel is five minutes from Deira city mall and subway station. You can take the subway to go almost everywhere in Dubai.I ask some information regarding the city and Hosny was very polite and friendly to answer all our questions. We strongly recommend for anyone. The price was great as well. Thank you Al Jawhara Gardens.
,
- D D (10/5): Convenient, 5-minute walk from the train station. - This hotel was quite convenient for my overnight in Dubai. A short train ride (2 or 3 stops) and a 5-minute walk brought me to this hotel.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the room was quite comfortable.
I'll likely stay here again during my next time through Dubai.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Close to mall and metro - Friendly helpful staff, nice clean pool. Would definitely recommend
- Asif (10/5): excellent - Great location for airport
- kumar (8/5): stay in du bhai - great hotel
- Verified traveler (10/5): Highly recommended - A really lovely hotel , very clean and would not hesitate to recommend
- Bob (10/5): Value for money overnight haven - We were forced to overnight in Dubai. We chose this hotel because of its location and price, and were astounded by the fantastic value for money we received. It was close to five star accommodation at three star pricing.
- Austen (6/5): hello, dubye - The immediate neighborhood was unremarkable, but airport access w as easy on the metro, and then access to the great Dubai downtown (Mall of Dubai for example) was further along the same metro line.
- Ruth (10/5): Excellent customer service - Clean, comfortable hotel located about a 15 min drive from the airport. Staff were excellent and customer service was great.
